As for Semmelweis stories, that reminds me of Desert Flannel's story. It'd entertain a bunch of the kids and teens in the suitcase since they're funky, funny and varied.

She then shows some of the artifacts she got from Vienna and shows the ones before. Now out of these adventures, she doesn't find much use of them so she gives the most harmless yet interesting ones away and keeps the others.

Some of the older members would sit and listen as well, like Druvis and Tooth Fairy. (Shamane was there from the beginning)

And with that one line about the kids in the orphanage, I think Semmelweis would be more than happy to share her tales with the children. It's a good way to bond and to make the kids' unusual life in a suitcase more entertaining

As for which Pedro boy is nervous, I actually think it would be Ezra. The pods have a bit more room to move around in. Airplanes do not and there’s so many people. He’s also not in direct control of the flight or at the very least in the copilot’s seat. This would have him anxious despite him reciting full acts of Shakespeare at you to try and calm you down.

But don’t fret Birdie, just hold your Ezra’s hand and assure him that it will be just fine and you’ll be sipping a mai tai and getting some sun in a few hours.

okay okay okay okay theory!!!! this is based solely off my memory so if i'm like wrong just let me live in my lies for another week lol

there were three figures on the map when sabine opened it in 1x01. a bunch of us were screaming about it being the mortis gods and i just assumed oh guess not when she didn't say something despite being there to see the painting at the lothal jedi temple but ANYWAY i think they're still connected. three figures three mortis gods father son daughter yes yes yes they are on the map when the sphere is unlocked so safe to say they are somehow in some representation within the carvings/engravings of the sphere. SO ahsoka ends up in the world between worlds after touching the activated sphere.....touching it with her HAND......and what was so important about the mortis gods on the lothal painting???? their HANDS. ezra used the force to connect with the painting and move the hands of the gods to open/close the portal SO i think by touching it somehow ahsoka opened up a portal and that is how she is in the world between worlds. the key is that she touched it while it was actively being used to transmit coordinates...that's how i'm explaining why this didn't happen anytime anyone else touched it. either that or the fact that ahsoka has been there before it is important to her and ezra and fucking being alive and ezra and vader and anakin and kajkdjkfjsljks

OH YAY EZRA QUESTIONS!! I've been wanting to write more about this dork >:)

What position do they have? How long have they been working there?

Ezra is a music and art teacher, though he primarily teaches music. 4/5 of his classes for each day are music-based, and in my AU there are more teachers that also lend a land in those classes (imagine like 2-3 teachers per subject with different classes).

Ezra hasn't been working at NRC for very long, at least in fae terms of the passage of time. He has been working there for three years, and it is his first teaching job. On top of being pretty much the most easygoing teacher at NRC, some of the other staff has looked down on him because of this.

Regardless of his mannerisms, he is very talented and dedicated to the arts, and he cares a LOT about his students to the degree of almost coming off as parental.

2. What do they desire more than anything?

Sanity is too easy of an answer so I'm gonna go with something that kind of includes it, but is not as basic -- insignificance. No Chosen of Bhaal, Purest Bhaalspawn That Ever Was; no Hero of High Hall, Saviour of Baldur's Gate, just... Ezra. A guy without an Urge or Statue bearing his name, living out the last of his days in relative peace.

3. What is their deepest fear?

Bhaal. Just... Bhaal. Ezra's main trait is that he's afraid. Of so, so many things. Those fears are so all-encompassing they nearly consume him so it's hard to untangle just one thing that buries its claws deepest and weighs on him the heaviest. But in the end, whether he's aware of it or not, every single worry comes back to Bhaal.

12. What is their fondest memory?

That he can recall (so post-tadpole)... I'd say his and Shadowheart's first kiss. My boy is a sap and it was a nice moment, before the Urge came and fucked it up at least. He's chosen to pretend that part never happened, though.

13. When they die, what will be their legacy?

Well... He's not exactly mortal so I'm not sure Ezra will ever die per se (I lean towards his eventual "true" death being more ascension to godhood than anything else) but once he fades into obscurity, hidden away in the woods somewhere with Shadowheart, the legacy left behind will be that of a hero not a killer. Saviour of Baldur's Gate etc. Even if he strongly feels he doesn't deserve to have the bloody part of his story erased like that, he's ashamed of it enough to never actively do anything to shine spotlight on it. Some things will resurface of course, but will probably be treated more like conspiracy theories than actual facts and parts of the story.

18. How does someone earn their respect?

Initially? By not being scared away. Simply sticking by his crazy ass when he's little more than a stranger is enough. But later on being overall headstrong and unafraid to push back too on top of not being scared in general is definitely helpful in not losing his respect when the initial high of "omg they're not afraid of me, so badass" wears off.

vesper + johnny. the cringe fail duo my beloved. they hate each other sooooo much at first, johnny might be an asshole but vesper can be worse if you push her to that point. her first interactions with johnny are basically a 'oh he thinks he's an asshole? i'm going to show him who's a son of a bitch then.' they basically antagonize each other sooo much until they kinda...like to antagonize each other, you feel me? might be a fucked up way to bond but i mean, what's not fucked up about what happened to them. they become the type of besties that shit on everyone else, vesper ESPECIALLY likes when johnny shits on fenix bc the fact that fenix can't hear him but KNOWS when johnny is talking about him (bc vesper can't stop her snarky laugh) pisses him off soooooooooo much. they have their moments tho, sometimes vesper just wants to make johnny shut the fuck up but after getting rid of him,,yea she kinda misses him, won't say it out loud but it's clear when sometimes she turns to speak with him only to find silence ://

vesper + misty. ah..this is the kind of 'that's the gf of my best friend so i have to act polite and friendly at all costs' case. or at least at the start of their relationship. they would chat a few times, vesper would ask her how she's doing out of politeness and that would be it. it's not that she thinks anything bad of misty but they're kinda too different, misty is a 'head in the clouds' type of person for vesper, while she has her feet firmly planted on planet earth, let's say that. still tho, she always thought highly of misty, she has a good heart and made jackie very happy so vesper had no problem with her at all. it's tragedy that brings them together, as tragedy usually does. vesper was truly touched by misty's care and attention after everything that happened with the heist and the fact they both lost someone so dear to them truly brought them together. i think vesper would take a bullet for misty, she would do ANYTHING for her if she asked

vesper + viktor. let's..let's start with a reveal here..vesper had one big crush on viktor. veeeery big. vesper would always ask jackie if he was going to visit viktor and if she could tag along jdkfhk, viktor is the kindest of the souls in that damn city and vesper was starving for some kindness when they met. i think viktor knew, maybe, and maybe was flattered by the attentions but that's it. he was a boxer, she was a boxer, they clicked very easily over that. her, viktor and jackie would meet to watch matches together, and vesper has playfully challenged him to a little friendly boxing match too a few times. i think they both care for each other a lot and are very good friends!! vesper needs to hide her embarassment at times bc she's plagued by memories of every stupid thing she did to spend time with him kfjdfhjds

tancred + saul. rubbing my evil little hands together. still unsure if they meet up in canon or not tbh but i'll pretend that they do rn. first reaction: tancred thinks saul is hot. he'd probably want to fuck him once, or twice, some fun among the desert u know. aside from that, he would be wary as tancred usually is, other nomads clans can mean trouble for HIS nomad family so he's always like..attentive, ready to put a knife behind's someone back or a bullet. they would be civil to one another, maybe even have some kind of "alliance"? helping each other etc but i think saul would think tancred a bit too crazy to actually engage with him for more than a few chats or a few funny silly nights. insane in the head as insane in the pussy as they say JKDFHNDSKJF

RAYNE NOVA GARMADON (NINJAGO)

1. When she was abandoned by her mother. She remembers standing just outside Darkley's and crying her eyes out, clutching a note in her hand while she was dragged inside.

2. That she is fiercely protective, but also funny and bright and a great fighter.

3. Overprotectiveness/Overconfidence in her own abilities. Rayne knows on some level that she would do anything for her family, but sometimes she thinks she's just a little bit too good.

4. Oh, Rayne is definitely a fighter. She'll yell, she'll grab a nearby weapon, or maybe she'll just death stare you until you start the fight.

5. Very, very far. Willing to sacrifice herself, but never someone she loves. Rayne would burn the world to the ground if it meant her family could be happy and safe.

6. I think she (Rayne) will stand by her morals, even if they are very flexible and a bit clouded. If asked to commit murder for a righteous/correct reason, sure. If asked to kill an innocent, absolutely not.

7. Rayne is more mature, I think. I've planned almost her whole life out from when she was 2 to around 25. She used to be very laughy and smiling at everything, but the trauma has hardened her.

9. Probably a lyric from a song or something. I like to think of 'i met evil when i was only a child' or 'relax, it's only magic'. I have tons written down, but too many to put here.

11. Spear or sword or dagger. Rayne loves her pointy edges. Her bronze dagger and Spear of Magic are definitely her faves, thought she's very happy to punch and kick her way out of any situation.

12. I think Rayne thinks she can fight forever, and when anything goes wrong she definitely blames herself. She'll get angry and snappy and shut down like an implosion. She's told 'it's not your fault' a lot, but she never really believes that.

13. I like to think so. I feel like in some ways, I'm definitely similar to Rayne. If she knew I wrote her, I'd be dead within a moment, but I do think she'd tolerate me.

14. She wants to be seen as someone who isn't a threat but you should definitely be careful of. She wants to be a good Ninja, a hero, someone who the people can look up to, but she doesn't want to be big and showy. There's also a part of her that wants to be normal.

15. Not really. I've thought about it, but I haven't really found anyone perfect for her. I've drawn and written about her as a physical being, and someone has even drawn her properly (I love the art) but nothing really gives the Rayne vibe.

16. Kinda mid. She can handle anything though. She's been stabbed, shot, impaled, slashed at and scratched and burned, but she powers through for the sake of those around her.

17. Umm I don't want to say too much because if anyone will eventually read my fic (Relax, It's Only Magic - fandomcrazy fool on ao3) I don't want to spoil it but... it gets pretty bad. So far, though, definitely the torture she endured on the Dark Island. The Overlord can get nastyyyy

18. A mix of both, I reckon. She loves her family to death and is very comfortable with them, though not the most open. To every else, she's an introvert and is only ever seen basically saving the city/realm.

19. Love this question. So people say there are two types of rage; Cold and calm and quiet, and then there's bright and hot and loud. Rayne can be both. If it's a dangerous situation, she's calm and cold. If it almost anything else, she'll yell and breaks things. Both are terrifying.

20. No. No, I don't think so. I can't really think of anything she might get jealous of. Maybe freedom or the ability to live a safe life or a normal life.

21. Yeah. In my mind, all the ninja are neurodivergent in some way, and I can definitely name a few disorders Rayne has. And she doesn't really. handle it. She just lives with it, I guess.

22. Probably Chaotic Neutral, True Neutral, Chaotic Good. One of those I think.

23. Grief, sadness, stress or fear, I think. Rayne doesn't want to be thought of someone who needs to be protected or kept safe, she wants to be independant and be the one keeping people safe.

24. I don't really think there was any other path, option or opportunity for Rayne. All the paths I considered lead her to finding Lloyd and becoming a Ninja. Nothing else really fit her.

25. Definitely how much she's evolved, matured, and how she's doomed by the narrative, in a way. I'm the only one that knows her fate, and part of me takes pride in that. She's gotten stronger and mastered her abilities, different fighting styles and found her family, blood or not.
