i keep thinking about the possibility that if there's ever a senior year, emily might choose to come back as a different player than fig. i say might because even if she felt like she wanted to play as someone else before junior year, by the time senior year rolls around (if ever) she might change her mind again, or feel that fig's story has taken a unique enough path at the end of junior year that it's compelling to continue playing with it.
and while i would certainly miss fig, and i think the team dynamics would change a lot if a new sixth character was pal-ing around with the bad kids, i hope that if she goes that route, she takes inspo from murph, and the greatest replacement character in d20 history: cody walsh.
because what was great about cody was that finding someone everyone would like as much as kugrash was a very tall order! so instead he veered the other way (on his moped) by creating this perfectly annoying drip of a loser, that everyone else would have strong feelings about, and more importantly, conflict with.
#i don't think there's ever been a d20 pc i've actually disliked watching. they're all executed really well#though i would try to kill cody with my bare hands if i met him in real life#i still think that plot-wise he was integrated more effectively than iga#saccharina is another truly great replacement character so i know emily could find a way#but i think replacing fig with another earnest character would be an uphill battle because fig won't be dead... just gone#what saccharina had going for her was the fact that she WAS genuine and she was benevolent but no one could see it#because their eyes were clouded by grief#so there was still conflict! with a replacement you need conflict!#dimesnion 20#figueroth faeth#cody walsh#fantasy high#fantasy high junior year#fhjy spoilers#the unsleeping city#d20

#jhariah#this one just rawrrfrrr#and then uh another line thats like ‘tell me did you raise a man?’#nice#im just listening to the new album to cope with nasty sickness and feeling out of it#god this album is really good it has every emotion in there like this song for example just the part where they scream the chorus its like#hnnnghhh#hm some other moments from the album im liking a lot uhhh i love re: concerns a lot#the part where hes like reading off the complaints and then the part where hes just screaming and its like BAM BAM BAM BAAAM#sasuke is so good and the bit at the end where its like ‘i just want you to know im so so...’#like hes gonna say sorry but cant seem to say the word for whatever reason and i know nothing about sasuke#but i has to imagine the fan girlies are eating gravel over that one lol it gets me#and theres just that like spooky echoing afterwards#the intro to fire4fun goes SOOOOOOOO hard i was losing my shit its awesome#the entirety of trust ceremony is giving me big feelings but specifically that part towards the end where its all quiet and you hear#its like whistling i think? like a marching band is coming in maybe#but it also kinda sounds like nature too and idk i like got a little bit um magical at that part cuz i was driving down a big hill#and it had been raining but there was a clearing in the clouds and the sun was bright and like at this particular hill#you can just see everything like the land stretches for miles theres trees hills the river farms all that shit#and idk with the extreme stress and depression ive been feeling its hard to have these moments where life seems worth it#and its hard to really feel anything anymore or to feel in the moment but idk i was just going down that hill seeing everything and it was#very majestic so yeah that song is definitely gonna have the same effect as pin eye for me#which i must mention pin eye again its still OOOOGHH very good it came at a pretty good time for me#yeah basically this album is uhhhh whats keeping me somewhat grounded rn i recommend 👍

#ffxiv gpose#ffxiv screenshots#ffxiv oc#gifs.#first official gpose of the yearrr#this is for kirke's no. 1 fan (thefreelanceangel)#this is the only time i'm glad for the blurriness. it adds to the creepiness of it and how you can't /exactly/ see what you're looking at#these were meant to be still images since it was vertical but i had the idea of doing a gif like i did for hector#kinda hard to see as a result but open for full size#so kirke's new lore centers around transhumanism. i'm currently redoing it and she's. this now#kirke's technically not 'human' anymore. she's a cluster of sentinent allagan nanites (made by amon) who takes over the brains of the dead#to combat decomposition she's been adding cyberkinetic addons to it overtime because she likes this body#it's hard to tell but her torso down to her pelvis has been replaced. no more flesh#'but kirke why not just make a new body from scratch?' where's the fun in that#and similar to yves she needs aether to animate her body; but instead of needing aether for consumption she uses it as a 'battery' to move#since she's a big cloud of nanites if she runs out of aether she will more or less 'die'#and it takes a lot more aether to move a dead body it takes less power to animate a robot body#she's like a deranged energizer bunny#it's not surprising that yves and kirke ended up together. he's her own charger#also didn't use her normal hair here because her eyes are integral#body horror cw#glitch cw#flashing cw#q.#mygposes.

My post about storm chasers and people not being familiar with them being a profession was bc multiple people in my notes in another post was like "who doesnt know what storm chasers are?" so I made my post about how storm chasers as a profession are mostly only in the US so like, so it's actually not that weird for people to not know what storm chasers are and some little fucking weirdo decided to read that post in a really negative light
#Also someone was saying that tornado warnings are issued by radar which.... Yes I never said they WEREN'T#I said a lot of times active tornado warnings go out especially with tornado sirens going off is that a tornado has been confirmed#Bc eyes have been on it#Bc while there's a lot that radar CAN DO#Like there are things to look for on radar that USUALLY coincide with a tornado touching down#But they don't ALWAYS mean a tornado has touched down#Radar is still very limited in that regard#Like hook echoes just show rotation which super cells have already#There isn't always the debris cloud on radar bc not all tornados are violent enough to through enough debris that high#And yet they're still strong enough to injure ppl if they get caught outside in it#Radar is better than it used to be but it cannot DEFINITIVELY confirm a tornado#Period#Tornado watches are declared by radar#But ACTIVE tornado warnings??? Those are declared when a tornado is confirmed on the ground#Which can only be done when someone witnesses them with their eyeballs and calls it in.#Like I literally just watched something about where radar falls short WRT tornados

Anyway Omega Cloud who still hasn’t presented by the time he’s eighteen (Angeal assured him that it was normal for those front he more rural areas where food was scarce and life was hard. He hadn’t presented until his first mako treatment.) but since SOLDIER is just alphas and Cloud is hardly the stereotype of an omega none of the firsts or Zack see the signs that their little trooper friend is getting close to presenting or what he is presenting as even as things of theirs (blankets, clothes, Genesis’s robe that costs more than most of Nibelheim) things that are guaranteed to be covered in their scents start going missing. Cloud on the other hand is in full denial even as he takes things covered in his friend’s (his mated friends) scents. They’re just a comfort after all. It doesn’t mean anything. It’s the stress. It’s that he’s tired. It’s a million things but the truth looking him in the face.
Just AGSZC all being oblivious idiots and incredibly soft for each other at the same time.
