"You're always coming to wake me up, so tomorrow I'll wake you up. How's that?"

Such was the oath that Belphegor made yesterday evening. He had clung to your arm, pleading at you with expectant purple eyes that were constantly in your peripheral vision until you accepted. He was rarely this sincere. The youngest brother wanted you to rely on him the same way you rely on his older siblings.

That is why Belphegor managed to crawl out of bed on his own in the morning and stumble down the hallway to your room. He walked into a few stray tables and knocked over a decorative vase but managed to arrive relatively unscathed. He leaned against your door while turning the handle, allowing his weight to push it open. The sight of you fast asleep in the dimly lit bedroom made his heart flutter.

Step one was to turn on the lights. Belphegor slapped at the wall at random in the general vicinity of the light switch until he got lucky.

Step two was to gently rouse you. He hovered over the bed, noting you could use more pillows. Still, it looked so comfortable.

"Hey, good morning. It's time to get up." Belphegor yawned halfway through his sentence so it came out garbled, lifting a hand to his face to muffle the yawn out of habit, but you didn't react anyway. In a gentle voice, he called your name. Then said it again. Then once more, with a bit more force and a hint of annoyance. You didn't stir.

Were you messing with him? He dropped down to check, settling next to the bed with his arms and chin over the plush comforter. His head lay at eye level, though your eyes were closed. Your torso rose and fell in time with deep, slow breaths. It was hypnotic for the Avatar of Sloth.

"Hey, come on." This was so unfair. Belphegor clenched a fistful of your blankets and tugged them towards himself. They were warm with your body heat. He nestled his face into them.

"Wake up..."

You woke up, albeit three hours later. Somehow you weren't surprised. Belphegor was half on the floor and half in the bed, with a lazy arm draped around you. He was mumbling about needing to wake up while he snoozed.

General Head Canons

He’s hesitant to let you into his life, to say the least.

Weaned on a fragmented childhood, the distrust of those around him only grows. Once Joost steps off stage, he’s raw, with shaking fists and a trembling jaw. It takes a while for him to get used to you being there for him, threading your fingers through his hair, trying to help him soothe. Panicked breaths turn slow and steady, his face nestling into the crook of your neck.

He appreciates you. When he's touring, he brings one of your pillowcases, tracing the scent to help him sleep. During one of your many Facetimes while he's away, you can spot it in the background, carefully fluffed on his bed. You don't mention it.

As wandering around is an act of decompression for him, he prefers to have you come with. Sometimes, he'll share one of his earbuds and let you pick the music. He likes learning about what you're listening to, what's playing through your headphones on the nights he's not home, missing his arm tucked around your waist, fingers ghosting your hip. Sometimes, he'll grimace at your.. interesting music taste, but it'll always cling onto him as something that is yours. A song you showed him. It ends up in his daily mix, one way or another.

Joost doesn't like to text. He reads your messages, responds in his head, then leaves it alone. The best way to reach him is through calling him, or having to navigate from iMessage, to Whatsapp, to Instagram.

Every now and then, he'll respond to a cute dog reel faster than your own messages, which is.. annoying, clearly, but he usually brings up what you texted him later in conversation, or when he actually gets to see you. When he's playfully annoyed with you, he'll mark the end of his messages with a Kaomoji.

He likes to kiss your hair the most. If there's a height difference between you two, he'll rest his cheek against the side of your head, idly just enjoying your presence. It's sweet, the way he enjoys just being around you. Whether it's a comfortable silence or scrolling through his Tiktok feed, you'll hear the soft pecks around your hairline, pausing around your jaw.

Needless to say - Joost is pretty easy to love, as long as you're patient.

My take on the Skeleton ghouls from RHRN🦴

I love them so much, they've been living in my head rent free since i first saw them, and i also happen to have some headcanons about them possibly fitting in with the lore and the other ghouls, but i decided to give them some additional visualisation and love as well, and here we are.

I think a lot about Leo standing up for his brothers in the things that really matter to them.

Like- Leo is the one who immediately pushes Mikey and Donnie into finding Raph the second it’s clear that their oldest brother is missing because he knows Raph can’t handle being separated like that.

Leo is the one who stands up for Mikey when Mikey wants to go on a solo mission, actively vouching for him and being the one to convince Raph into letting Mikey go, because being independent and proving himself just as capable of standing on his own two feet as everyone else means so much to Mikey.

And Leo defends Donnie’s honor in particular when his brothers’ intelligence is insulted because Leo is well aware of how important Donnie’s smarts are to him - and how important having those smarts valued and acknowledged is as well.

All this goes right into just how well Leo knows his brothers. For as much as he’ll tease or fight with them, he knows them, and he loves them.

​he's under the row of flags on Neige's side of the room, next to the big Neige poster with the yellow background (look just to the right of the hand holding the apple)! he's REAL little; once you know he's there you can kind of see him in-game, but I only noticed him in the first place because I took a screenshot and was having fun zooming in on all the details!

I think that's either Hop or Snick and Dominic on either side of Neige, but if the others are meant to be anyone in particular I don't recognize 'em. though I do love all the absolutely terrifying implications of Rook having this. was this some kind of officially-published merchandise (and if so, why) or did Rook like...go hunting through the RSA trash to find this random student lineup just because it included Neige, and has had it hanging proudly on the wall ever since. (I mean, he definitely did do this, I don't know why I'm asking. the real question is why he hasn't cut out little pictures of his own face and stuck them over everyone else's yet.)

there is seriously SO MUCH in this room. how did Rook manage to keep this hidden for three years. also, somebody give this background artist a raise immediately.

OK, SO the bug thing is not technically canon to the series. It's based on my own headcanons for fairy biology, but i do have justifications for it!! Fairies have very strong shape-shifting abilities, so it would make sense that the form they show to humans isn't necessarily their true form(not to mention extreme that mimicry is very common in insects). And you want to know the visible traits almost every fairy has in common? Being very small with Insect-like wings.

The fact that their humanoid form isn't their true form in actually confirmed in the show! Cosmo and Wanda are revealed to look like biblically accurate pseudo-angels in the museum episode. (I say pseudo angels because the Flaming Sword of Eden is only debatably sentient and I don't think is considered an angel. Ophanim are also debatably not angels because they don't have wings (sorry for the angel tangent I like angels))

So wouldn't their true forms be angelic then? Well, yes. But I like bugs so. Also I have more headcanons to justify myself. I like to think that they have both a true-true form (incomprehensible to the human brain, probably exists mostly in a dimension invisible to us, that looks how we imagine biblically accurate angels), and a fairy form (which is visible to humans but is naturally very insect like and tends to scare people). So, in order to interact with humans, they have to learn to shapeshift into a humanoid form but will occasionally slip if they get too relaxed/aren't careful, hence the mandibles coming out when he yawns!

The reason they struggle so much more with human forms than the animals or objects they typically turn into is that, well, they aren't trying to convince those animals or objects. The more human they try to look, the harder it is to keep up convincingly. If you turn into a really uncanny squirrel, only other squirrels will notice. If you turn into a really uncanny human, they form a lynch mob and burn you at the stake.

Random Vox, Valentino and Velvette headcanons (Part 2):

-Whenever they go to a restaurant Vox or Velvette have to read the menu to Val due to his poor eyesight.

-Velvette had an eating disorder when she was alive. It took a really long time for her to open up about it towards the other Vees.

-Valentino loves picking Vox up and carrying him around. He weighs nothing to Val (as shown in their dance during episode 8) and with the moth’s four arms it’s easy to manhandle him. Whenever Vox is throwing a tantrum Val will just haul him over his shoulder and cart the tv demon away kicking and screaming.

-Valentino had a bunch of ear piercings when he was alive and misses them a lot. He makes up for it by getting multiple piercings elsewhere (Vox is very much a fan).

-The three have matching tattoos, a simple VVV design. Vox’s is on the back of his neck, Velvette’s is on her wrist and Val’s is on his lower back.

-Velvette has hundreds of different phone cases and swaps them daily to match her outfits.

-Vox listens to Mindless Self Indulgence, Electric Six and The Offspring.

-Velvette had a boy band phase and Vox and Val refuse to let her live it down.

-When he was alive Vox had a severe stutter that developed during childhood. As he got older he learned to control it however he’d slip when experiencing strong emotions. One of the reasons he hates glitching is because it reminds him of the shame he felt. It’s one of the few things Val and Vel won’t tease him about since they know he’s really insecure about it.

-Velvette secretly loves plushies and has a massive collection in her room. Vox and Val are always buying her new ones. She sews some herself too.

-Valentino and Velvette have craft dates together. They’ll go to a cafe and gossip while working on small arts and craft projects.

-Vox loves sneaking up behind Val and Velvette and lightly shocking them to make their fur/hair fluff up.

-To retaliate Val and Vel always mess with Vox when he’s live on camera. They’ll blow him kisses, make lewd hand gestures etc all in an attempt to make him lose his cool.

-Vox is a skilled photographer and is often roped in to help with Velvette’s fashion shoots.

-For all his showmanship Vox is awful at roleplay in the bedroom. He gets way too into his role and forgets that the situation is supposed to be sexy.

-Val gives the best hugs. If Vox or Velvette are having a bad day he’ll pull them onto the sofa and let them snuggle into his neck fluff. Val adores physical touch however his antenna are completely off limits.

So. As something of a connoisseur of depictions of the 7 Deadly Sins in media, I was just mulling over FMAB and thought, “I don’t know if anyone as crossed this over with OM before, but that would actually be kinda fire though.”

Like, imagine each of the brothers with the destructive powers of their respective Homunculi.

Lucifer coming off as the most normal at first, until MC catches how his shadow bends and curves to avoid harsh light. They swear they sometimes hear him chuckling in the dark corners of the House, but they never actually find him anything there when they check. Red eyes reveal themselves in unlit rooms and follow them through the halls, all the while they keep wondering how he always seems to know where they are whenever he's away…

Mammon hardening his skin to be tougher than diamond, then using it to reinforce his claws and smoothly cut a perfect circle into glass display case. Him letting himself get punched when things don’t matter, but instantly hardening his cheek to break the assailant's hand whenever he starts getting serious. Or literally using his body to protect MC from harm as their first man and loyal shield.

Leviathan having a MASSIVE aquatic beast form that he shoves into a normal sized body, making him feel even more distant to others. Using transformations to regularly make himself look like his favorite anime characters/idols since he can’t stand the thought of looking at his true form. Yet, he still has that conservation of mass going, so he can simultaneously look like a 12 year-old girl and kick a car down the street like a soccerball.

Satan using his gifted sight to become an absolute force of nature. Not just a mere brute, but a sophisticated and effective killing machine with the wit and reflexes to mow down entire armies before breaking a sweat. Never blinded by fury, but harnessing his rage behind every inescapable strike. Him silently vowing that any threat to MC or his family will barely get to finish a thought before he's cut them down with precision and grace.

Asmodeus mostly using his extending nails for glorious manicures, but not being afraid to pierce the heart or lungs of anyone he doesn’t much like. He hears an incubus talking shit from a few tables down and stabs a hole through the jerk's skull while never looking away from his milkshake. His fights with Mammon getting 1000 times more destructive as his razor sharp claws bounce off his brother's skin and dig into the walls and furniture. The only thing he hates about them are how long it takes to scrub the blood off his nails afterwards.

*silently contemplates the possibility of Beel ripping himself in half to reveal a nightmarish second “stomach” capable of sucking anything into a blood-filled pocket dimension of which there is no light, hope, or escape* … Okay, moving on.

And of course, for those unaware FMAB Sloth could run at like the speed of sound which was threatening because he was also a behemoth. However, Belphie probably weights 125 pounds when wet, so… I admittedly get a giggle at the idea of him giving Lucifer a speed-of-light drop kick from across the House. That is probably all he would use it for, too. Him just getting those horns out and going into ramming speed… What a menace
