another quick isat piano cover i picked up by ear! the main theme of isat has something special about it i can’t quite describe. i remember booting up the game for the first time not really knowing anything about it since it was a gift, hearing this song, and immediately just knowing that this game was going to be a very special experience for me. and it was!

“You like crunchy peanut butter?” Regulus scrunches up his nose in disgust at James’ sandwich.

“Don’t tell me you like smooth peanut butter?” James asks incredulously.

“Of course I like smooth peanut butter. Why would I want to chew my peanut butter? It’s supposed to be smooth. Smooth as butter? It’s in the name, James.”

“I don’t care if it’s in the name, Regulus. It’s boring. Crunchy peanut butter has texture and more flavor and the crunch compliments whatever you have it with. It’s perfect.” James says defiantly.

“Smooth is just better, James. I don’t know what to tell you.” Regulus shrugs.

“Reg, you’re allergic to peanuts. Have you ever even had peanut butter?” Sirius chimes in.

“No.” Regulus says simply and James’ jaw drops. “I just like arguing with him.” Regulus smirks at James who just continues to gape at him with wide, disbelieving eyes.

Regulus walks over to James, pushes up on his toes and kisses his cheek.

“Make sure you brush your teeth after you finish your sandwich or your kisses might kill me.” He tells James then turns on his heel and leaves the kitchen.

James is left holding his crunchy peanut butter sandwich, which he promptly tosses in the bin followed by the entire jar of peanut butter.

When I thought that was true I come to find that most of the evidence to make that claim come from a time in which Dick was being mentally controlled by Brother Blood or right after the death of his parents which obviously would cause anger after finding out they didn't even die naturally but were murdered on top of that.

Luo Binghe leaned over the desk, examining the mess of ink and papers, scrolls from the library rolled out haphazardly across the edges of the desk, stacks of prose and poetry copied in Shen Yuan’s shaky handwriting. The topmost stacks were already a bit neater, with Shen Yuan staring with single-minded focus as he moved the brush, trying to imitate the graceful strokes of the original texts. His own work was a mess of ink, not even bothering to let the ink dry properly before he would throw new pages on top. He gripped the bowl of ink in his right hand, held close to his work, both hands stained with the stuff, and Luo Binghe could see smudged black hand prints on the sleeves of his dark robes, a smear of ink across one cheek.

He took a moment to marvel at the fact that, despite the mess on himself and his work, Shen Yuan somehow managed to keep the scrolls he was copying from getting dirty. The amazement was short-lived, though, quickly overtaken by notice of just how tired he looked.

Science Major: Man, I sure wish I had time to enjoy college but I have so much studying and homework to do. At least I'll get an easy high paying job after, right?

Physicist: I think I have a pretty good work life balance (does not, actually) and I think my grad students should have the same work life balance (which is not having that)

Astronomer: I work *about 40 hour weeks, but sometimes there are hours are in the middle of the night 'cause, y'know, stars. But who needs a consistent sleep schedule, really? Not me. I got Redbull.

Geologist: Sometimes I get to spend 15 hours a day wandering through the desert in severe weather conditions looking for cool rocks! also I have to like survey the land or whatever so I can get money

Chemist: Oh, you know, my PI only lets me see my family at night for dinner, then I have to come back and sleep in the lab, but overall I’d say I’m not too stressed.

Physician: Well, I had to work really hard, so why shouldn't everyone else have to work even harder? I'm sure the patients could only benefit from everyone being sleep deprived.

Biologist: I work so much I don’t even remember the last time I wasn’t working.

Science Major: huh?

Biologist: I MUST OBSERVE THE CRAB AT ALL TIMES. I OBSERVE THE CRAB EVEN AS WE SPEAK. IF I DO NOT PUBLISH 60 PAPERS ON CRAB BEHAVIOR BY NEXT YEAR MY COLLEAGUES WILL SENSE MY WEAKNESS AND DEVOUR ME ALIVE, LIKE A PACK OF STARVING CRABS

Computer Scientist: Um… I work from home for at most 8 hours a day then play video games

i understand what people are saying when they talk about fandom overstating the importance of farcille to the dunmeshi narrative and that their frustrations are related to a larger frustration with fandom in general prioritising shipping over other relationships/narrative themes. HOWEVER i do find it a little suspect and annoying that the one time the Big Tumblr Thing Of The Month has a popular f/f ship that the fandom is over-extrapolating from in the same way that fandom usually over-extrapolates m/m relationships i'm suddenly seeing all these posts complaining about it

Headcanon that when Gwen is driving and Miles is in the car with her, he's 100% a backseat driver every time. He keeps abruptly freaking out at her driving style, like he'll shout "GWEN GWEN GWEN" when she makes a moderately fast turn, or when they've come *slightly* too close to another vehicle. They'll be 3 feet behind another car and he'll always nag that she's tailgating. He CONSTANTLY tells her she's speeding. And when they near a stop sign, he tells her to watch out and thinks that she wouldn't have remembered to stop if he hadn't told her.

*Gwen driving w/ Miles in passenger seat*

Miles: GWEN! GWEN! GWEN!

*Gwen FREAKS and comes to an immediate full SKRRRT STOP*
