for halloween I introduce a mapleshade and spottedleaf au I had in my head for a while :)

basically spottedleaf dies as normal, and after she does maple finds her and sees it as another way to take revenge on thunderclan, and convinces her that Fireheart/paw whatever he was at the time let her die purposely and convinces her to take revenge on him, especially after he chooses Sandstorm as a mate. Basically spotted tries to act like his spirit guide still and still act good and not evil, but secretly convinces sandstorm that firestar loves her and not sand bc she constantly visiting him and stuff if that makes sense...and basically sand ends up breaking up with him over it

but before they broke up sand was already pregnant and had squilf and leaf eventually, and bc of what happened, his daughters never became too close to him, especially squilf, leaf kinda had to get over it since she his med cat, but squilf always held resentment. eventually spotted convinces leaf to run away with crow and that whole thing happens same as it does..

however since she knew the three had powers her and maple started secretly training them. as time went on jay realized they were being manipulated and told lion and holly, but holly was so caught up in being the best med cat she could be, she didn't believe jay and continued to train

eventually the fire thing happened and spotted actually told holly leaf was her mom and made up lies about how she hated her and hated that she was her apprentice and all that, and eventually convinced holly to kill leaf in revenge, and she tried but due to the sister psychic link thing squilf came and tried to save her, but she was too late, and in the process also ended up killing Holly in an attempt to save her sister, but in the end they both ended up dead

squilf was accused of killing them both and due to pressure from the clan firestar was forced to exile his daughter, she pleaded, attempting to fix the relationship they never got to have, and he desperately wanted to, but he couldn't and had to kick her out

meanwhile, in starclan leaf realized what spotted had been doing and tried to warn all the other starclan cats, but none believed her since spotted was such a well respected starclan warrior. the only one who seemed to listen was crookedstar, and eventually they realized together mapleshade was in on this as well

they formed a plan together to bring maples kits to her in an attempt to change her mind, and during the great battle they bring the kits out to maple while the kits tried to convince her to stop all this. maple was starting to listen to them, finally starting to find some kind of closure in her anger, when spotted saw and stepped in

she tried to convince maple not to listen to them but she wouldn't, so spotted attempted to kill the kits, which made maple angry

the two started fighting, maple almost winning and who easily could have killed her but hesitated, through all of this they had formed a close relationship despite everything, and she couldn't bring herself to hurt her, but that was her mistake, for spotted didn't hesitate and ended up killing her

she hadn't realized what she had done until it was too late, she had killed the one cat closest to her, and while she was in shock, sandstorm has been watching and realized what had been happening all along, killed spottedleaf, ending their reign once and for all

anyway, it sucks but i think overall i’m glad to be leaving the youtube warrior cats community, the tumblr wc community is the chillest section of the fandom imo and lacks a lot of the younger fans that have yet to mature or acknowledge the flaws in the books.

EVIL FIRESTAR AU PT.4

Once back at Shadowclan territory Brokenstar decides to test Rusty ( Like how Bluestar did ) and challenges him to fight against Clawface, ripping his collar off. Rusty looses, but Brokenstar is determined to use Rusty to his full potential so he let's him stay in Shadowclan..

After the fight Rusty has a scar across the bridge of hi nose that Runningnose treats too, and he meets Littlepaw..

as ThunderClan scrambles to find a medic replacement in, the former ThunderClan cats of StarClan begin to descend into discourse as Spottedleaf insists on waiting for her old pawn protege to return and refuses to acknowledge whoever ThunderClan presents to them as Leafpool’s replacement. Eventually, that’s what drives her out of StarClan’s hunting grounds to journey on and find the runaways.

Meanwhile Mothwing volunteers to train the apprentice ThunderClan chose for the role but uses her access to ThunderClan’s camp to try and figure out where her dearest friend had ran off to.

If there’s one idea I really like in au’s where Leafpool and Crowfeather actually do run away, it’s the idea of the three being raised away from the Clans and returning with an outsider’s gaze on how repressive and violent they can be

1. condensing mousefurs whole negative character arc into one sentence to try and explain her combined religious trauma and lesbian grief while making spottedmouse pitch

2. spottedmouse fankitten (hypokit?) MUDDYSPOTS! she is sandstorm’s cousin but they’d grow up more like sisters being raised by runningwind and mousefur after spotted and red die. together they would be absolute evil fucking menaces of apprentices. i named her muddyspots because 1. i liked the first series’ naming convention of using adjectives instead of nouns (spotted/misty) 2. i wanted her to have a dirt themed name to match sandstorm and dustpelt since she’d be in their apprentice clique 3. she’d become a warrior a while after spottedleaf’s death so she gets an honour name :3 i think that she would never come around to fireheart and would feel betrayed that sandstorm fell for him and would be a hardcore hater along with her mum forever. I think the second sketch there is her berating longtail for losing to rusty LOL

3. misc spottedmouse!!! there’s one in there of mousefur yelling at fireheart. i feel like i came up with an au for her where she’s like this twerp is for real going to ruin our clan ever since he came here things have gone wrong and his deputyship broke the code starclan is going to keep punishing us !!! and her and longtail and goldenflower who are mad about swiftpaw team up and do some kind of a mutiny. and it probably goes terribly :D anyhoo i just like them

Evil Firestar AU, where Spottedleaf gets the famous " Fire saves the clans " prophecy, but not Thunderclan..

" Fire, fire alone will save the clans.. "

" But not ours "

And at the same time Runningnose and Brokenstar are having the same exact conversation and he's like " I won't stop until Thunderclan is burnt to the ground.. "

Warrior cats AU where the whole "starclan cats fade when they're forgotten by the living" thing also goes the other way -- whenever a cat double-dies, all memories of them are wiped from the memories of those in the clans. Of course, the collective amnesia about certain cats while still remembering events they were involved in is... complicated.

Squirrelstar still wakes up in the night panting from dreams of flames, but whenever she tries to think back to that night certain details are hazy. She can't put her paw on what was stopping her from crossing that branch, or why the only way out was to spill all her secrets to... who? What? The figure in front of her is a blur.

Ivypool knows she had another daughter. She knows this. She knows that daughter was... brave, and did something amazing, stopped someone awful, disappeared because of it. Why can't she remember her name? Why can't she remember her face? She's happy to have the those who trained her in the dark forest blocked out, but her daughter?

Brambleclaw knows his father was evil, and though he doesn't remember his face, he remembers the shame he felt as a kit well enough to make some… educated guesses. Sometimes he remembers the feel of the fox trap stake in his mouth, sinking it into… someone's flesh… he hopes it was someone who deserved it.

Those born after the great battle are raised with gaps in their parents and mentors' memories. The interruptions in the elders' stories when someone twice-gone must have been involved, the foggy paw-waving away of names, especially when it comes to the darkest parts of the clans' history.

If Spottedleaf's spirit had lasted a day longer and outlived Firestar's ninth life, he would have carried her memories with him into starclan. As it stands, he doesn't really know much of his own about this apparent "old flame" that Bluestar tells him he once had, but most everyone agrees that that's for the best. Especially sandstorm.
