so, i'm rewatching star wars, like marathoning through it...... and i gotta say............. i hate tlj more and more every time i watch this saga. and i finally put ideas around why i hate it. it's just so clear that rian johnson didn't want to make this movie. he wanted to make a star wars movie, suuuure, a star wars movie of the likes of the acolyte verse in terms of exploration of lore, expansion of possibilities, new nuances to the story, etc. but not star wars, as in the skywalker saga, as in, the middle piece of a new trilogy. there are interesting concepts explored in the movie, interesting ideas being arisen, interesting questions being asked. buuuuuuut, it takes episode 7 and goes "welp let's erase all of that!" and throws it in the trash, thus successfully destroying the new trilogy before it even had a chance to stand on its own. beyond that, and even more unnerving, it takes the entirety of the skywalker saga, ep1 through 6 and goes "welp let's erase all of that!" and more, "i can do better". NO YOU CAN'T! you just can't. because rian johnson never understood the point of the star wars story. it's just so obvious! i still 100% believe luke would never turn the way he does on episode 8. like, sure, it could've happened, a what if, a parallel universe where he gives up on vader or whatever, but this luke??? luke from the return of the sith? luke from the books? luke from the comics? luke from just anything star wars that has been created??? no. never. no. jamais. non! it doesn't even have anything to do with the force or being a jedi or whatever, it's also about leia, about han, luke would never abandon them, luke would never give up when it comes to them. i'm not saying luke wouldn't make mistakes with ben, or whatever. i'm talking about who luke is at his core, about the values of family, loyalty, faith, he's always uphold during ALL the other movies or medias in which he appeared. in this context, tlj luke just doesn't make sense. it's a luke. it's not the luke. he's an interesting concept, of a jedi abandoning the ways of the jedi, questioning them, etc etc. but it doesn't suit luke. for starters, because luke never upheld the jedi beliefs 100%, far from it. and even the characters from the new saga aren't themselves! leia isn't herself (for the little she's used). then you have iconic characters like 3po, chewie, r2 that are completely sidelined: even that, is against everything this saga has stood for. these characters are part of the team, the family, you can't build a story by sidelining them completely. all chewie does is sit by the falcon and try and eat these stupid furry pets: a reminder, HIS BEST FRIEND JUST DIED! he's right next to luke, whom he's fought wars with, loves, and is loyal to. do we even have an interraction between luke and chewie????????? 🙃 finn literally spends the entirety of ep7 learning to belong, and then he wants to leave again?????? poe is... just, not poe. like, no. there's just nothing to say about these characters cuz they're just not the characters set up in episode 7, and how do you do that? how do you take on the mantle of the middle piece of A TRILOGY and just decide to shit on what came before????? and just leave no room for whatever could come next????????????? but oh noooo, rian johnson is too busy making stylish, pompish bullshit about the force and rey-not-rey-because-ooc doing weird shit and force exploration and pretty battle on a planet that makes stylish shots, let's just ignore how he treats the characters, i meaaaaaaaaaaaaaan. 😐 anyway, I (STILL) HATE TLJ.

Anakin does not take another padawan after Ahsoka. This we know from canon, but I would assume most people think it's because he was too busy becoming Vader. That's not the only reason and if the Sith plot had been thwarted, the war ended, and peace and stability returned, Anakin still would not want to take another padawan after Ahsoka. This is nothing Ahsoka did wrong. He does not consider her exit from the Order to be because of her failure, but because of his (and the rest of the Jedi ruling body).
Ahsoka was an ideal padawan in almost every aspect, though of course, their relationship wasn't perfect. He could not have asked for someone better, however, even if he had his initial misgivings. In any verse where Anakin has a different padawan, it is in place of Ahsoka, not along side or after. The closest Anakin gets to taking on another padawan in his lifetime is to ask, to beg, Luke to join him. He would have continued his son's training, of course, but for obvious reasons, their relationship would not have been your typical master and apprentice. He would desire Luke to learn and grow in order to become his equal - not like the duology of the Sith and their rule of two.
Anakin felt he failed Ahsoka as a master and seeing her again after the Clone Wars only further confirmed that she was better off without him, that he could only cause her pain, and that he had not been the master she needed when she needed him. Her leaving was traumatic for both of them. He was, and remained, proud of his padawan for all she accomplished, even when he killed Anakin Skywalker to take on the mantle of Darth Vader only. The fact that he did not hunt her down or actively attempt to murder her the way he did Obi-Wan tells me that he did not consider her part of the problem and he did not consider her one of the people who let him down.
Sure, they were enemies, but not on the level of his fixation with Obi-Wan and mostly because she was a former Jedi who stood in opposition to the Empire. I don't know if Anakin could have killed her. I can't even say for certain he wanted to. But one thing I do know is that even the Inquisition he trained by his own hand (I do not consider him their master and they his padawans) did not measure up to his apprentice. Ahsoka was brilliant and gifted and most of all, he loved her. She was more than just another Jedi and he never regretted training her. He only wished it had ended differently. Seeing her again as a part of the Force fulfilled his hopes to reunite and reconcile and granted him a peace he would not have had otherwise.

𝐋𝐄𝐈𝐀 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐂𝐄
reposted from an old blog, mild divergence from the rise of skywalker
What has been implied in current expanded canon is still true, Leia is not overtly fond of following either the Jedi or Sith paths based on her personal experiences with them and how it’s affected her and her loved ones. The Jedi were the ones who were blind and let the Republic fall, and the Sith lords Vader and Palpatine were responsible for atrocious acts. Including her own planet, along with everyone she knew and loved, being destroyed in front of her eyes and the hours long torture she endured at the hands of her birth father.
Vader is always Vader to Leia, she might have come to terms for her own sake about where she comes from but she does not support or hold any fond feelings for him. She has just attempted to let go of her anger towards him (its extremely hard for her). Ironically, Leia is much like her birth father in this regard. She feels her emotions so strongly and holds a lot of anger, guilt and resentment inside after these long years at war. She also stresses herself out with the fear of what this means she will become — but despite her temptations, Leia is eventually able to overcome it and find a degree of peace while training.  However, as time goes on and situations become more dire , that control wanes a bit.
She trained in the short years after the war, the galaxy was in chaos and her force abilities were now awoken and consuming her as she began to feel everything she had numbed herself to during the rebellion. She needed help, and her brother saved her. Leia genuinely believes she would have been lost without it; but her deeper understanding didn’t calm every anxiety. Leia was even against having children initially, because she was afraid of what her child could be knowing what blood ran through her veins. Which is not to say Ben wasn’t wanted or loved — she wanted him so much, and loved him with all her heart. It frightened her at times, however. She wasn’t in love with the idea of him studying to be a Jedi at all; especially as she knew Snoke was preying on him. It felt like a risk, but Ben wanted to go and she wouldn’t stand in his way (as stated in the novel, Bloodline). He was extremely gifted, and had power he couldn’t comprehend. If anyone could help him, she trusted Luke. The only other force user (at the time) that she held faith in.
Leia, like in Rise of Skywalker, has studied too. She was also extremely proficient in the force. She had a lightsaber and everything, she studied the path but she knew she would never commit to this lifestyle. She wanted to control and understand this ability she’s always had and brushed aside. She wanted to be in control before it overtook her like it did Vader and many others before him. Once she did, like seen in the film — she stored her lightsaber away Ahch To; she was extremely gifted and had been blessed with a foresight that surpassed even her brother and knew this wasn’t her path and that her saber and destiny had roots elsewhere.
All of this equates to Leia being a force user, but neither a Jedi or Sith. Not even a Grey Jedi. Her force abilities are also far from common knowledge, even to the Resistance. The majority of which didn’t know she had the force, let alone a vast knowledge of it, until the events of The Last Jedi and the time between The Rise of Skywalker when she is capable to successfully train Rey as much as time allots.
Leia’s force use rarely is ever manifested physically on purpose, it’s often internal through intuition and visions. Reading the signs in it’s ebb and flow through everything. When it does manifest physically, it is usually by instinct (eg: her force abilities saving her in the explosion).
In verses where I follow Leia’s death, she died much the way Luke and Rey (temporarily) do; she exerts herself too far in the force. While her communication through it to Ben isn’t the most daunting, Leia is in poor condition physically and emotionally (which affects her spiritually) after the events of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. She is still recovering, and her heart and spirit are in agony. She has also been pushing her recovering body while training Rey and leading the Resistance (including it’s hopping from place to place as shown in The Journey to The Rise of Skywalker books). The use of the force and the emotion she has to feel and send to her son to break through to him, physically and spiritually drains her to her breaking point. Her cause of death mirroring both her twin brother and birth mother simultaneously.
The people who officially know before The Rise of Skywalker and The Last Jedi the extent of Leia’s force abilities are:
Luke Skywalker
Han Solo
Ben Solo (limited in parts)
Maz Kanata
Chewbacca
Emperor Palpatine (through the force only)
Amilyn Holdo
Some characters might suspect or figure out on their own, but the list of people who fully know is very short.

VERSES:
P A D A W A N
As a Padawan in the Jedi temple, Obi-Wan grows up, learning the Jedi way, eventually being chosen by Qui Gon Jinn.  He becomes his apprentice, and they go on various journeys.  This continues until Qui-Gon’s untimely death, at the hands of Darth Maul.
J E D I  K N I G H T
As a promise to his dying master, the newly knighted Obi-Wan takes on training a young Anakin Skywalker. As he grows and gets used to being a Knight and handling his own missions, he’s handling being a master to his young, complex Padawan too.  Obi-Wan tries to be the kind of Jedi Knight that is understanding, fair and doesn’t react emotionally.
J E D I  M A S T E R
After Anakin is made a Jedi Knight and the Clone Wars begin, Obi-Wan is officially a Jedi Master.  During the war, he is also a General, with his own Clone Army. As a Jedi Master, he has a seat on the Jedi Council and is often called the Negotiator.  He tries to handle things the best he can, despite the fact that it is not always the easiest to do so.
I S O L A T I O N
The Clone Wars are over, and Anakin is dead. Obi-Wan had to kill his brother (or that’s what he thinks).  He had to help hide his children from the new head of the Empire.  The Jedi have mostly been killed and he himself is in isolation, hiding away, since Jedi are still being killed. He doesn’t use the force and works with his hands.  He’s extremely broken, lonely and grief-stricken.
K E N O B I  A N D  B E Y O N D
10 years after his fight with Anakin on Mustafar, he discovers Anakin is alive, only he is now Darth Vader. After a run-in, he sees that he is basically a cyborg. He is trying to protect Anakin’s children, but it seems Darth Vader is extra obsessed with killing him.  He just is trying to figure out how to get through life, now.  After the events of Kenobi, he moves out of the cave and tries to get used to life as Ben Kenobi, while still watching over Luke, most to Owen Lars dismay.
A  N E W  H O P E
More time has passed and he’s settled into things, as an older man. He’s known to every one as Ben known, Obi-Wan not even a name that he recognizes, most of the time, anymore. But, he gets a message that Leia needs help and he knows he’ll have to help her. It’s also time to teach Luke about the force, all while being careful, how much to tell him about his father.
F O R C E  G H O S T
After Obi-Wan’s death, he becomes a force ghost, providing counsel to Luke and others who can communicate with force ghosts.
I N T O  T H E  F U T U R E
Obi-Wan did not fall to Darth Vader, in A New Hope and continues his life. He is not sure if he would want the responsibility of training Luke. He is too old to have a Padawan and he knows that he is a risk, due to his connection to Vader. But, he teams up with the Rebellion and continues to help where he is needed. He can still fight and he can counsel when needed (Canon Divergent Verse)
FACECLAIMS:

BIOGRAPHY:
Obi-Wan Kenobi was a Jedi, who was the apprentice of Qui-Gon Jinn, the master of Anakin Skywalker, and a respect Jedi Knight and Jedi Master. He served as a Clone War General, during The Clone Wars.  He was labeled the negotiator, since he could often negotiate conflicts.   As an apprentice, he helped Qui-Gon Jinn, in various different ways, learning from him and he even ‘killed’ Darth Maul, after he killed his former master, and promised a dying Qui-Gon that he would train Anakin.  In his earlier years, he also fell in love with the future duchess of Mandalore, Satine, but remained loyal to the Order.   Training Anakin was not the easiest for Obi-Wan. The two were only ten years apart in age, and Obi-Wan at times, could be a little harsher than he probably needed to be, but he cared deeply for Anakin.  Once Anakin became a knight, they still were partners, in the battlefield and in missions, not often found, without the other.   Eventually, he became a Jedi Master and was appointed to the Jedi Council, though he didn’t always agree with them. The hardest thing that Obi-Wan would go through, was when Anakin fell to the dark side, and he was sent to deal with him.  They had an intense duel on Mustafar and though Obi-Wan managed to overtake Anakin by dismembering him, he would not say that he won, in any way.  He figured that he had killed Anakin.  Due to the Jedi purge, he went into exile, and kept an eye on Anakin’s son Luke, for a distance.   Taking a common job, he stuck mostly to himself, a broken man of who he once was. After finding out that Darth Vader was in fact Anakin Skywalker, he and Darth Vader had several more run-ins, before Obi-Wan decided to stop living in such squalor and tried to live somewhat of a normal life.  But that would change again, when Leia would need help and he would finally tell Luke about the force.   This time when he faced Vader, he wouldn’t survive, but it was due to him sacrificing himself, so that the others could get away. Still able to communicate from the other side of the force, he still counseled Luke.

Hi! For those prompts, 25. Why do you have a picture of me? for Luke and Vader?
send me ficlet prompts – optionally include charactersset in the same vague AU as this oneshot I wrote in which vader somehow uses luke to work with the rebellion to bring down palpatine. I still have very few details worked out in this verse but it seemed to fit best with what I wanted to do, so, enjoy!
His father was angry. That, in and of itself, was not unusual – his father was almost always angry, after all – but his anger felt different, this time. He was angry at Luke. Now, of course, that was also not the most unusual of circumstances. The two of them had very different opinions on what was considered ‘proper behaviour,’ and as such his actions tended to put his father into something of a foul mood more often than not. But that usually manifested in something more like annoyance than genuine anger. This…
This felt far closer to the type of rage that rolled off his father before he strangled someone.
He had never been strangled by his father – who claimed he would never hurt him, which Luke tended to believe, most days. In this moment, though, faced with the full weight of Vader’s rage bearing down on him, he was beginning to have his doubts.
“What’s the matter, Father? Aren’t you happy to see me? I made the rendezvous in time and everything!” Luke was fully aware that Vader would not appreciate the flippancy, but the alternative was to display his fear, and he refused to do that in front of his father.
As expected, Vader remained unmoved. Crossing his arms, he inclined his helmet to look at Luke directly. “Do not expect me to be impressed when you have done what is expected of you, boy.” Boy. Not son, or my son, or child – or even Luke. No. He’d said boy. Vader was angry indeed. Several moments passed, Luke not daring speak before his father elaborated. “You have been investigating matters you have no business looking into.”
The fear he’d been working so hard to conceal flared up and Luke let out an involuntary gasp. There was no sense in trying to lie to his father, but he’d really been hoping that Vader hadn’t discovered his particular line of inquiry just yet. “I – ”
“Why do you have this holocron?” he hissed, waving his hand and summoning the crystalline cube from his son’s bag. Leather creaked as Vader tightened his grip on the holocron, and Luke worried he would crush it in his hand. Swallowing thickly past the lump forming in his throat, Luke felt his eyes widen and he took a single step back as Vader advanced on him. “Answer me!”
“How – how did you know I had that?”
“Do not believe that you are my only source within the rebellion, boy.” There it was again. Boy. The tone made Luke’s blood run cold. “You did not answer my question.
Steeling his resolve and deciding not to cower before the so-called Fist of the Empire, Luke tamed his wild expression and set his brows into a scowl, crossing his own arms across his chest in a poor imitation of his father’s previous stance. “Well, what did you expect? The name Skywalker isn’t exactly obscure. People were offering me answers, I wasn’t about to turn them down! Besides, you’re not exactly forthcoming about your past.”
A noise that sounded something like a growl rumbled out of Vader’s vocoder, and his voice was low and dangerous when he spoke next. “The past is best left where it belongs, boy. Let it remain buried. If you cannot leave well enough alone, I will recall you from your mission and punish you accordingly.”
“Father!” Luke took a step forward as Vader began to turn on his heel, apparently angry enough that he didn’t even want to hear Luke’s report. He caught his father’s arm, and instantly he reeled back as Vader whirled around sharply to face him.
“Do not – ”
“No, Father, it’s my past too – my history. I have every right to know.” Luke could feel his own anger and frustration rising in his chest, bubbling in his stomach, washing over him and tensing his muscles. “I’m not going to leave it up to you which parts of my life I get to know about. Stars, I had to find out my own mother’s name from Ahsoka –” He instantly clamped his mouth shut, teeth clicking together, and his eyes blew wide as he realized he made a mistake.
“Ahsoka Tano…”
“Father, please, don’t, just leave her –”
“I presume she’s the one who gave you this?”
Luke remained quiet for a few moments, debating the merits of lying or refusing to answer before finally sighing and deciding that he was best off telling the truth. “She was. She… always speaks so highly of her former master, about how much she learned from him, admired him… How skilled he was. How – how kind.” He couldn’t bring himself to meet his father’s gaze. “She really looked up to you, you know.”
Several cycles of the respirator echoed between them before either father or son moved or spoke again. Luke wondered, vaguely, if they might stay this way forever, in some state of perpetual limbo, but a tingling warning in the Force caused him to snap his head up and catch the holocron that sailed back into his hands. “I was… unaware that she was working with the rebellion.”
“She serves as a Fulcrum agent.” Luke let a soft chuckle spill out past his lips. “You should have seen her face when I told her my name. Though, I suppose it was a little sad, now that I think about it… Almost like she’d seen a ghost.”
“Is she… aware of our connection?” Vader’s rage had subsided, but his shields were up and impenetrable; Luke had no idea what was going through his father’s mind, and that question really didn’t clear anything up either.
“No. As far as the Alliance is concerned, you’re still just ‘my source in the Empire.’ Nobody suspects a thing.” He was grateful for that, too. He felt bad for lying, but he knew Leia would never forgive him if she found out, at least while they were still at war. “Ahsoka gave me the holocron because… heh, she wanted me to be able to learn something from you. I wasn’t about to correct her. But… everyone always says how much I ‘look like my father,’ and I just – I donno, wanted to see it for myself?”
His father remained silent and still, looking for all the world like a statue, the constant hiss of his breathing the only indication that he was indeed a living, breathing being.
Faced with the lack of response, Luke plowed forward. “I don’t see it, you know. I mean… yeah, I have the same blond hair, the same chin, the same eyes… but I don’t see myself in the man in that holocron. I don’t – I hold myself differently, move differently… I feel like I resemble that man as much as I resemble you now.”
“Ahsoka spoke of Padmé?” The words came out slow and deliberate, bearing a pain that was alien in the modulated voice.
“She did. I was able to find a holo of her, too – just an image, but… she was beautiful. I don’t think I look very much like her at all, either.” It hurt to admit, but there were times when all he felt between himself and his parents was an enormous, yawning chasm. He breathed out his next words in a voice that was hardly audible.“Leia looks more like her than I do…”
“You resemble her far more than you realize, my son.” The pain was deepening, the words spoken with more effort, but Luke felt a flutter of… something ripple through him as his father carried on. “You have her nose. Her stature. More than just her looks. She shared your… passion for justice. Your sense of morals and integrity. And you have both… given me a… purpose… beyond what… others might ask – demand of me.”
Any other being in the galaxy saying those exact same words would sound cold, uncaring, unkind, but coming from Vader… It was the peak of warmth, care and affection. Luke felt a smile bloom across his face, and though he did not say the words out loud, he sent his sentiment out along their bond – I love you too, Father.
Vader stiffened slightly, acknowledging the thought not with words, but a general feeling of affirmation before relaxing again. “Very well. You may… keep the holocron. And I will not recall you from your mission. But I will ask that you keep any conversation about… the past to a minimum with others. Do so and I may concede to… discuss certain matters – ones of my own choosing – with you further myself. Am I understood?”
At this point, Luke couldn’t help it – he was positively beaming. Nodding vigourously, he snapped off a salute. “Perfectly, sir!” The image of rolling eyes flickered briefly in his mind’s eye, which only caused his grin to grow even wider.
“Now,” his father continued, steering them away from sentimentality and back into the comfort of business, “I’ll have your report and we can be on our way.”
Rattling off the report felt mechanic and insincere to Luke, after what he’d just shared with his father, but he knew they had to be quick so as not to raise too much suspicion. He did feel a twinge of reluctance as they said their goodbyes – from him and his father both – but Vader did manage to surprise him one last time before they went their separate ways.
For the briefest of moments, a flash of affection danced along their bond. He felt it for him, but he also felt it for Ahsoka. Along with that, the word ‘Snips’ flickered briefly, attached to Ahsoka, before the bond shuttered and Vader withdrew into the unreadable stone wall he typically was. Still, as he greeted Artoo and climbed into his X-Wing, Luke couldn’t help but feel that Anakin Skywalker wasn’t nearly as dead as his father claimed.

TWIST MY ARM, WHY DON'T YOU: 1) Literally any iteration of Vader finding Obi-Wan on Tatooine. I know you already wrote the Dreamscape one (and I'd love to see more of it!), but that trailer gave me a huge hankering for them boning in a frontier hut or cave in the middle of the desert. 2) Anything that has Luke in it! I know Vader hasn't found Luke in your "to have and to hold" verse, but what if he DID? Or a different universe where he does? And Luke and Obi-Wan are both lowkey captives?
Well, this is a little belated, but I mostly managed to get both of these into one fic 😆 Thank you so much for amazing prompts!!!!

Summary:
“How long will you be staying?” Obi-Wan asked once the door was closed and there was only moonlight and stars, dry cold desert air and Vader. Sometimes, the answer to that question was measured in days. Sometimes it was mere hours. In the end, of course, it never really mattered, in a way.
Obi-Wan found himself, lost himself, every moment.
“A couple of days, at least,” Vader told him, voice low and eyes fast on Obi-Wan’s face in the dim light of the small courtyard and—there it was. A couple of days, to search every minute for the eyes of a dead man, to hunt for the smile of a ghost, and to wonder if this visit would be the one where Obi-Wan must lay him to rest for good.
Or, Vader visits Obi-Wan and Luke, hidden captive on Tatooine.

Look at this this way: did anything in the OT that Anakin became a Jedi when he was nine and a slave? No, he was supposed to be a young man that already served as a pilot in the army. How does Leia remember Padmé when she was 5 minutes old when she saw her for the first and last time? The Force knows how. Where the fuck is Qui-Gon's ghost in the OT? He literally doesn't exist. Getting worked up about retcons in SW is useless. This show is doing the very same that every SW movie has ever done.
There were a few head scratchers and retcons here and there from the OT and PT verse, but the two universes are generally pretty consistent.
For instance, while clearly not in the right morally, it is very clear that Darth Vader was an abuse and oppression victim of Palpatine with learned helplessness and Stockholm Syndrome in regards to that toxic authority in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. He tells Luke “I must obey my master,” “It’s too late for me, son,” and “You don’t know the power of the dark side.” He feels so chained to Palpatine that he feels obligated to hand over said son for him to kill when he refuses to join the dark side or just leave before it’s too late, and almost lets him do it, even though he clearly didn’t want to.
He allows for Palpatine to encourage Luke to fight him to goad him to join the dark side in Return of the Jedi, and even feels obligated to continue obeying him after he mocks him as Luke starts beating him up. Vader asks Luke to join him to help him kill the Emperor, so they can rule the galaxy together, but if Vader is really supposed to be this entirely fearsome and unstoppable killing machine that he first appeared to be in A New Hope, then it should be no problem for him to kill Palpatine by himself, except he can’t because he’s been physically weakened and he’s been groomed to serve Palpatine as a murder slave for so many years. His background as a slave in the PT movies, explains why Anakin would feel obligated to obey corrupt authority figures in the OT movies, even when he knows they are wrong, and even when they treat him and/or his loved ones like shit. It doesn’t excuse him for it.
It doesn’t surprise me that the man who became Darth Vader was an abuse and oppression victim of corrupt authority figures his whole life. He clearly wanted to reach out to Luke for healthier emotional support and help for freedom the from the only other family he realized he had left outside of Palpatine, in spite of being terrible at showing it until the end. Anakin clearly wanted to escape Palpatine since he knew he sucked, but he still felt obligated to hand over his son to him and almost allowed him to be killed by that abusive and oppressive master, even though he didn’t want to.
I also don’t remember Obi-Wan or Yoda specifically saying that Anakin joined the Jedi as a young man. His origins were largely a mystery in the OT movies. Yoda dropped a line to Luke about him being “too old” to train as a Jedi at 18-19 years old, even though that’s generally the minimum legal age for people to enlist or be recruited as soldiers. They spent almost all three of the OT movies deliberately deceiving and manipulating Luke to groom him to be a weapon to kill off the monster of a man they claimed to have inadvertently helped Vader become, even before it was revealed that he was his father Anakin Skywalker.
Therefore, doesn’t surprise me that Obi-Wan and Yoda were unreliable narrators when they said that Anakin was simply “ seduced by the dark side,” and the old Republic and Jedi Order were these “keepers of peace and democracy” who they believe everyone else loved.
Obi-Wan and Yoda were willing to leave Luke in danger alone in the galaxy to punish him for taking a break to go save his friends in Empire Strikes Back, even though he said he’d be right back because “attachments are dangerous.”
The PT movies may have been a little implausible in some places, such as the place where Leia said she remembered her mother a little bit. She wouldn’t be able to as an infant. However, for the most part, Anakin’s, Obi-Wan’s, Yoda’s, and the old Jedi Order’s characterizations and arcs in the prequels pretty consistently and plausibly expand upon what we learned about them in the OT movies.
With Disney, it’s all just about rehashing and retconning stories that Lucas already told in the OT and PT movies for money. Lucas wasn’t always a great writer, but he was brilliantly creative.
Nonny, I really think you’re just bitter that Obi-Wan, Yoda, and the overall Jedi Order weren’t the blameless victims and perfect heroes all along, and the man who became Vader turned out to be just as much of a victim as he became a villain.

FACECLAIMS:
Ewan McGregor
Alex Guinness

Note
You know what,,, I think FeralWan and Nyanakin would make a great pair in another AU.
Also, Obi-Wan as Penelope is amazing !! Or Psyche!! Or Persephone !! (All begin with P, an unexpected theme??)
I laughed at the idea of Anakin as Odysseus returning home to find his beloved husband surrounded by all these suitors… Vader mode activated. Also thinking of the inherent angst of their last night together before Anakin goes to war 💔💔 (do they follow the myth and have one son in this verse ? If so, is it Cal? Korkie? Luke?)
omg they do all begin with P damn LMAO
my favorite part of an odysseus anakin and penelope obi-wan is of course literally all the bitching afterwards, especially with the knowledge of how obi-wan did wait for the twenty years anakin was gone he never married or took another lover so you know there's love there and if he does decide to banish him to the couch one night after anakin details one of his adventure side trips and obi-wan is like 'wait so you were traveling for only three years in total? could have sworn you were gone for ten? what happened to the other seven, anakin? where were you for seven years, anakin'
odysseus stays with calypso on her island for seven years
anyway but even then obi-wan is sticking his head in every ten minutes to make sure he's still there and has not been carried away by the gods and eventually he brings his blankets and sleeps on the floor next to the couch so he can hear anakin's breathing until anakin wakes up and carries his ridiculous husband to their bed.
(also--
anakin: you said you weren't mad!!!
obi-wan, clearly enraged: i'm not mad!!!!!!!
anakin: baby, how do i make you not mad?
obi-wan: you're a smart man you figure it out!)

Anidala Fic Recs
I got asked for fic recs for these. NSFW will be in a private post (that I’ll make later GOING THROUGH YOUR AO3 HISTORY IS TEDIOUS) for easy DMing purposes. All recs under a read more.
So first for authors:
Just about anything by SkywalkersAmidala and Gemma’s Writing (@gemmaswriting)
Everything I’ve read by them is absolutely fantastic, and believe me, I’ve read pretty much everything from them. Multiple times in some cases. They’re just very good. SkywalkersAmidala in most cases writes more silly lighthearted AUs and Gemma’s Writing does a bit of everything, all of which are good.
Padme Lives/Anakin Doesn’t Fall:
(Anything on my Vaderdala fic recs list, you need Padme alive for Vaderdala)
Precipice by Shadowsong26
An AU in which Anakin Skywalker does not follow Mace Windu and the others to Palpatine’s office after they leave to arrest the Chancellor. As a result, he doesn’t get that final push over the edge, and doesn’t Fall.
(Padme returns to the Senate with Luke, Anakin to lead the Rebels with Leia. Things get better is the absolute best way to summary this one.)
To These Memories by KatieRoseFun
After Darth Sidious is defeated, everything changes. Some for the better, others not so much. Mostly better though. (Or: Anakin becomes a dad. Rex rehabilitates clone troopers who no longer want to be a part of the army. Ahsoka gets a call from an old friend. And maybe Obi-Wan finds out it’s not just his enemies who don’t stay dead. Basically, everyone gets the happy ending they deserve.)
Pocket Full of Sand Verse by Philthestone
Anakin goes missing, Padme is captured, and this causes Leia Skywalker and Luke Amidala to meet.
Clash of Fates by AliceBDS (In Progress)
Sometimes, the course of life is changed with one decision.
When Ahsoka Tano requests the help of her former master in liberating Mandalore, a twist of destiny sends them to Coruscant to rescue Chancellor Palpatine instead, altering the course of galactic history forever.
When Dead Men Walk by Ellapromachos
Anakin hesitates just a few minutes longer, and the entire galaxy is better for it.
or; Anakin is at the Temple for Order 66, but not as Darth Vader. And when Palpatine comes for him, he plays his cards just a little bit better. He digs his heels in, and prepares for the long con.
My Loyalties Lie by Stranestelle (In Progress)
When Anakin initially rejects Palpatine's offer to 'help' him, the Sith Lord, in a rare moment of hastiness, ships him off to Kamino to have a control chip implanted.
Nobody Needs to Know by Elizaham8957
The twins are born in the middle of the Clone Wars, and Anakin and Padmé try to continue hiding the fact that they're married and now have two children.
Nobody buys it. Like, seriously, nobody.
Hunter by Zinoviev
Leia is offered a chance to escape Bespin when Boba Fett enlists her help to prevent Luke from falling into Vader's clutches. She has plenty of questions, however. Who is this mysterious bounty hunter, and what does he want with her friend?
The Bantha in the Room by Estrangedlestrange
concept: anakin sitting in the council room bouncing baby luke on his knees as he adamantly denies having children or attachments
Time Travel:
Stand the Hazard of the Die by KeelieThompson1
Baby Luke is sent back in time by Obi-Wan to the prequel era. Needless to say, things change.
Just One Wish by LadyVader23
On a trip to Dathomir, Anakin Skywalker finds a spell that will grant him one wish. Anxious to return home, he wishes for a way to end the war. As a result, he ends up accidentally kidnapping his future children...moments after they've escaped Bespin. Luke is quite done dealing with his mess of a father, and Leia is convinced telling the future Darth Vader about the future will only make it worse. Desperate, Anakin calls in the only person they might listen to: Padme Amidala. Too bad Padme has a surprise of her own...
Temper With the Stars by Pipionem
After being pulled through the World between Worlds, Ahsoka finds herself in the final days of the Clone Wars, on a Separatist ship holding the recently kidnapped Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Saving the galaxy from the horrors to come is a lot to get done in a week, but Ahsoka has lost everything before - this time, she won't let that happen. Of course, that doesn't mean it's going to be easy.
Skywalker Family Fics:
Skywalker Family Values by Ariel_Sojourner
Camp Chippewa is proud to be the Empire’s foremost camp resort for privileged young adults. Located on the picturesque forest moon of Endor, your child will have the opportunity to participate in wholesome outdoor activities and socialize appropriately with their peers. We invite your offspring to join us for the experience of a lifetime and a bright future in service of the greater glory of the Empire.
On opposite sides of the galaxy, on opposite sides of a civil war, Darth Vader and Padme Amidala unwittingly send Luke and Leia to the same camp during school break. Chaos naturally ensues.
Mild AU:
Desideratum by Sithanakin (In Progress)
As a young Initiate in the midst of a childish crush, Padmé had always dreamt of Anakin Skywalker becoming her Master. But she was to turn thirteen too early for that to be possible.
Then, at sixteen, she loses her Master in the battle of Geonosis. In the confusion of all her grief, she does not expect newly-knighted Anakin Skywalker to offer to take her on as his Padawan.
The Wise Thing by Stranestelle
Warning: Very dark, not happy ending.
Padmé Amidala may not be all she seems. Anakin Skywalker wears his heart on his sleeve. People have crushes every day, it’s not the end of the world. Is it?
or, if you will, a sith!Padmé AU
Bonded by Betts
(Okay I’ll out myself slightly with smut but just one on my mostly SFW recs.)
Padmé had always been better at the mental half of the Jedi code—coercion, manipulation, meditation. Anakin had always been better at the physical half—beating shit up with his lightsaber.
Heirs to the Empire by Aldojlc
Alternate Universe. En route to Endor, Luke, Leia, and Han during the events of ROTJ find themselves transported into a different universe and a different Empire, with a different Vader.
Heavy AUs:
(it’s not so bad) being dead like me by Estrangedlestrange
Recently deceased Anakin Skywalker (killed in an taco truck explosion) finds himself not in the after life but recruited as the newest member of the undead, he’s become a grim reaper. He’s told that it’s his destiny but really he thinks it’s just rotten luck. Rotten except for the fact that one of his fellow reapers is Padmé Amidala, the most beautiful woman Anakin’s has seen, dead or alive. As he struggles to come to grips with his death and his new role in the universe, Anakin finds that taking souls isn’t the easiest job out there, he also finds himself falling in love.
Skyborn by Silverdaye
Senator Padmé Amidala enjoys spending her time in a bookstore, one made of real flimsi books where each one costs a small fortune. It is there she meets a strange man, Anakin Skywalker, who is searching for long forgotten planet, Kesh. 4,500 years ago a ship crashed on Kesh. The survivors told the natives they were their gods, the Skyborn. Anakin is one of them.
For Even the Very Wise Cannot See All Ends by UncorrectGrammar
When people think of Anakin Skywalker, they think of the Chosen One, the Hero With No Fear. They think of an accomplished duelist, of the best flyer in Hogwarts, of the prophesized savior of the wizarding world.
They don’t think of gardens diligently kept or dirt under fingernails.
Or: Anakin Skywalker and his legacy. Hogwarts AU.
General Prequel Era (Non Anidala Centric, but still contain Anidala)
Like Fire In Our Bones by AcuteNeurosis
With all of the most important things in the galaxy literally exploding around her, Leia is given the chance to go back and help keep a promise she never personally made.
But then, for Skywalkers, saving the galaxy was always a family matter.
Well It Goes Like This by Corde_and_Dorme
At the end of it all, the thing is: Palpatine breaks his heart.
(or the one where Anakin makes the hard choice, the right choice, the other choice. Then he keeps making it.)
Vode An by Epsiloneridani
There are millions of lives on the line, clone and Jedi alike. Every second brings them one step closer to the chip's activation - one step closer to the endgame. The truth is shrouded in secrecy and clouded by doubt. The clock's ticking down.
It's a race against time.
Fives is gone. Echo finds the courage to ask why.
Bonus: ObiAnidala
For We Are A Woven Thread; Find the Strand by Shadowsong26
The night before Obi-Wan was to leave for Utapau, he and Anakin and Padme agreed that, regardless of the Council's orders, Anakin should go as well. They split up over the course of the battle--and when Order 66 is given, they cannot find one another in the chaos; Padme, on Coruscant, is left with the knowledge that neither of them is coming back.
This story covers the next four years in their lives; how they survived and coped with the loss; how they began to fight back--and how they found their way home.

Pray for Piett
@silvereddaye
Piett isn’t paid enough for the skywalker family drama bullshit.
(comprised in no particular order, some stories are more explicit than others with Pray for Piett)
1.  Compromising -samvelg
5 + 1 Five times Admiral Piett misunderstands the nature of Luke and Vader's relationship, and the one time he doesn't.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/11539302/chapters/25908651
2. For Want of a Skywalker--- acuteneurosis
After the miracle of having survived Bespin, Piett does not ask why they are stopping on Tatooine. Or why Lord Vader suddenly has acquired a small child. Or why this child's name is Luke. Or how long they are going to keep him.
He probably should have.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/22044874/chapters/52612567
( Note* Part 1 of the Through the Eyes of the Beholder)
3.  The kidnappings of a Sith Lord - maedre13
How a certain Sith Lord may or may not kidnap his rebel son. One-shots. Strongly inspired by sparklight´s “Where Our Intrepid Hero Doesn´t Get Away”.
Current chapter: In which Vader tries to arrange a marriage
https://archiveofourown.org/works/10606992/chapters/23453241
4.  Living Relics-- planningconquest
Poe Dameron, on a routine flight, stumbles across an entirely new mess for the New Republic to deal with. Finding Imperial relics that can help with the galaxy's most pressing questions and problems.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23113807/chapters/55303762
5.  Luke Skywalker Is Altogether Too Likable - Mokulule
A bounty hunter claims to have caught the empire's most wanted rebel, unfortunately for Admiral Piett, Lord Vader is not in attendence, so he will have to take the call.
Alternatively; the Piett POV story I have amused myself with for several months and that I hope others will also enjoy.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/14477958/chapters/33444051
(Note* Part of the  Likability Conundrum series )
6.  Firmus Piett Is Altogether Too Likable- Mokulule
This is a companion piece to Luke Skywalker Is Altogether Too Likable, it is basically the first chapter from Luke's POV with more background and angst.
Luke has been captured by the nasty bounty hunter Bossc Blackscale along with small Twilek child Nia, who was used as a hostage.
Now he's about to enter Imperial custody and he meets the most peculiar Imperial.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/18065363
(Note Complete Series below)
https://archiveofourown.org/series/1300493
7.  Some Assembly Required - Mokulule
Luke desperately call out for help in the force. Darth Vader finally gets his hands on his elusive son, but he doesn't quite get what he expected.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/17394782/chapters/40941173
8. One Dream, One Vision- severnlight
After the disastrous duel on Bespin, more than mere words transpire over the newly forged bond between father and son. And this time, R2 is not so lucky with the hyperdrive. Darth Vader is beyond pleased to finally have his son in custody, but the Force keeps whispering something about the terrorist Princess as well. With the identity of Lord Vader's long lost son revealed, every being of some consequence from Core to Outer Rim is busy plotting their own schemes for Luke Skywalker. The young rebel is trying his best to navigate the new relationship with his father, and scramble a plan or two of his own. Admiral Piett and various unsuspecting Imperial citizens are entangled in the drama. Vader acts completely unpredictable, the threads of destiny are tossed up in the air, and the Galaxy holds its breath.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/9817640/chapters/22044329
9.  Darth Vader Goes to School - LadyVader23
Darth Vader gets bored with killing people and decides to get a degree in Engineering. He develops an interest in his classmate, Luke Lars. Poor Piett becomes the awkward middle man.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/23905714/chapters/57477952
(Note* Vader essentially commits identity fraud on Piett to do a few online classes and Piett roles with it because what you want to say no to Vader, and gets tangled in the fuck up that is Vader’s life)
10.   LIBERO per fidem, or How Piett Accidentally Hastened the War Because He Kinda Cared About Vader--ThreadSketchier
It's the Admiral's job to overthink things. This time, however, it's going to be both the best AND worst decision he's ever made.
(note* this is not technically a fic and it’s a private story but it’s still worth checking)
https://archiveofourown.org/works/22535980/chapters/53852038
11.. How (not) to cope with Skywalker family drama - prayforpiett
In which the admiral of the Executor tries to find ways to manage his stress. Like any sensible person, he tries to turn his frustrations into creative endeavors. And he also drinks. A lot.
Of course, it all gets worse when he starts to have stress dreams about a certain Luke Skywalker...
https://archiveofourown.org/works/24320452/chapters/58632580
(   Note* From the appropriately titled author PrayforPiett. )
12.  A Life Day Miracle - Mokulule
A few months after the Death Star was destroyed, Darth Vader gets an early Life Day present in the form of the child he'd thought he'd lost, now if only events wouldn't keep conspiring against him he would actually get to tell his son of their relation.
Luke and Wedge are very confused, this is not how they expected being captured by Imperials would go.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/17646887/chapters/41613821
(Note*  Mokulule again)
13.  In Loco Pirates - izzythehutt
A down-on-his-luck Hondo Ohnaka manages to capture the unicorn of all bounties--Luke Skywalker, which sends Darth Vader, Lord of the Sith, on a painfully familiar trip to the planet Florrum to collect his prize. The failed negotiations leave Vader in the awkward position of being stuck in a besieged pirate bunker, trying to balance keeping his wayward child safe (and in his custody) with controlling the tongue of a loose-lipped pirate who--to the surprise of no one--has a bad habit of telling 'amusing' anecdotes from the Clone Wars.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/3841744/chapters/8574070
(Part 1 of  In Loco Pirates-Verse  https://archiveofourown.org/series/324137)
14.  Palpatine Ad Portas - izzythehutt
When the Emperor Palpatine moves the Empire Day Celebration to Naboo, Darth Vader is forced to confront a past he had thought better buried and forgotten. Admiral Piett becomes the reluctant confidante of the monarch, caught in the middle of a deadly Sith cat-and-mouse mind game. Meanwhile, the young Rebel who blew up the Death Star returns to his mother's home world to pay his respects on the anniversary of her death--unaware of his father and the Emperor's presence on the planet and the very grave danger he is in.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/4819292/chapters/11034437
(Part 2 of  In Loco Pirates-Verse  https://archiveofourown.org/series/324137)
15.  Meet the Skywalkers - frodogenic
Newly returned from the Unknown Regions with Darth Vader, Admiral Piett doesn't expect much of a welcome from the New Republic. And not in a million lifetimes would he have predicted that their very first guest would be Luke Skywalker. After all, Skywalker and Vader are still mortal enemies...right?
Multichapter prequel to Lord Vader's Limpet and Driving Lord Vader.
Chapter 14: The Lady’s 25-year sojourn enters the final risky stretch.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/8158216/chapters/18696025
(Note* Part 3 of the  Limpet AU,  see more here  https://archiveofourown.org/series/554200)
16.  in an endless universe----loosingletters
Chapter 8 , 9 and 10 : Grandfather Vader AU
Luke has a kid to raise and the Empire might not care much about its personnel, but at least it pays its mechanics well. Enter Darth Vader.
Part 1:https://archiveofourown.org/works/22955416/chapters/55002466
Part 2: https://archiveofourown.org/works/22955416/chapters/55067716#workskin

17.  Allegiance - KaelinaLovesLomaris
Luke is captured by Imperials while on a mission and ends up needing his father's help getting out of a tricky situation. What follows is shameless Luke and Vader father-son bonding, with plenty of action, angst, and fluff, as Vader finally has his son at his side and plots to destroy the Emperor. Everyone's favorite Imperial, Admiral Piett, plays a large role, as does Luke's fellow pilot, Wedge Antilles, and Boba Fett will probably make an appearance.
Post ESB AU, with canon divergence. This is not Dark!Luke. It is eventual Vader redemption.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/6745156/chapters/16127191
(note* Allegiance-verse series)
18 . Interview with a Sith Lord--- KaelinaLovesLomaris
Before Piett was the Admiral of Death Squadron, he was captain of the Accuser. And once Darth Vader learned of his son and realized he would someday need to take the Emperor down, he began looking for an admiral he could trust... Or how Piett got the job of captain of the Executor and eventually became admiral of the Death Squadron. This is in my Allegiance-verse, but it's not necessary to read Allegiance to understand this.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/8747338
( Note* Allegiance-verse series)
19. Twin Suns - EagleInFlight
ROTJ AU: Vader reached out into the Force, eager to teach this trooper a lesson when suddenly the old him woke from his slumber and an Anakin quip slipped out of his mouth: “Have the Empire become so desperate that they’re recruiting below the height requirement?” A wave of amusement splashed through the Force from the trooper. That signature... The trooper took off his helmet, jerked his blonde hair back from his eyes and stared up at him. “Explains why I can’t see out of this helmet.” Darth Vader was left utterly speechless. His son stood before him. His son was here of his own free accord. Luke flashed a smile that warmed Vader’s heart. “I’m here to rescue you.”
OR: Luke Skywalker sneaks on-board the Executor to rescue his father, Darth Vader.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/14289804
20.  Skywalker Family Values - Ariel_Sojourner
Chaos naturally ensues.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/14258124/chapters/32883750
(Note* Piett doesn’t feature in this as much compared to the others but dear lord still, pray for this poor man)
21. Two and a Half Men (with a baby)- orphan_account
After a long day of bargaining with Hutts and attempting to ignore his past, Darth Vader is nearing the end of his rope. When he discovers his two-year-old son, it's the straw that breaks the semi-rational Sith Lord's back; in a rash act worthy of the Skywalker name, he scoops his son into his arms, steals a shuttle from his own fleet, and punches in random hyperspace coordinates to a destination on the other side of the galaxy.
Unfortunately, father and son are not the only ones on the ship.

DAY 12: WHUMPTOBER: I Think I’ve Broken Something - Broken Trust @whumptober2020
Also set in The Pirate Son ‘verse! Disclaimer: This is set after Vader rescued Luke from being hanged, and there will be a ficlet that deals with what exactly happened. But this is the aftermath of it.
It wasn’t until Coruscant vanished from the horizon and Palpatine’s pursuing ships fell back that Vader allowed himself to breathe—at least, insofar as he could breathe, since his mortality was stripped from him along with his humanity. Piett was at the prow of the ship, Rex beside him; they both gave him perfunctory salutes before launching into a report of things he already knew, but appreciated the summary of.
“The lad is below decks, in…” Rex paused, giving him a look, as though he wasn’t sure what to tell Vader. “In the rooms originally meant for him.”
“Good.” If a member of his crew had put Luke in the dungeon again, he would have torn them limb from limb and flung each separate part into the ocean. They would not die, but by the time they found each limb again, they would wish they had.
“He looked… pretty shaken. Looked like in the escape some of the earlier scars opened again; there was a lot of blood. And soot.”
“Cody did set fire to the gallows,” Vader pointed out, unamused.
“Your kid’s traumatised, antsy, and bit Kreel’s middle finger clean off when he tried to get him to lie down on the bed. They locked him in the bedroom but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s already out the porthole by now.”
And drowned, was the unspoken implication.
Vader growled, “Thank you, for your observation, Rex,” and stalked off. He knew Rex was telling him off. He was, perhaps, the only person on this crew old enough and bold enough to get away with that.
But he didn’t know that no words from him could hope to admonish more than Vader was admonishing himself.
He took the steps two at a time, the slippery wood and the swaying of the ship as familiar as his lack of heartbeat by now as he swung around, straight for Luke’s door. There were two guards by it; apparently they weren’t taking any chances with having Luke escape. Again.
Was Luke still a prisoner on this ship? They’d given up everything for him, sailing to who knew where, just so Vader wouldn’t have to watch him hang.
He didn’t know.
The guards let him through. Vader was in and standing in front of his son before he could think twice of it, and stared.
Luke looked so much worse for wear than Vader had expected.
He was perched on the bed—bed! Vader had spared no luxury, in ship terms, when he’d learnt exactly how far Obi-Wan’s treachery ran—and glaring at him, the scars from the keelhauling still a dark, angry red on his face, highlighted by the angry, pinked flesh from burns from falling cinders, and the red, red ring around his throat. Luke was covered in blood—surely not all of it his own? That had been quite a fight, to get him out of that square and back to the Executor—and Vader flinched to look at it.
“What do you want?” Luke said, harshly. Then he tried to soften his voice—it didn’t work, he was still angry, and scared, but Vader hoped that the effort boded well for him: “Why are you here?”
Why did you save me? was the unspoken question.
Vader had no idea what to do with his hands. He hooked his thumbs into his belt. “You are my son,” he said. “I told you: I have missed you. Dearly. I was not about to watch you hang.”
Luke’s hand unconsciously went to his throat, tracing the line that noose had constricted there, coarse and rough and deadly. “That wasn’t the impression I got, Father.”
“It was necessary to keep up a pretence. To make Palpatine think I was only interested in getting you to join us, in using your power. He had spies on this ship—spies which have now been thrown overboard for the sharks—and I assure you—”
“You terrorised me!” Luke cried. “You— you invited me to dine with you just so you could make a statement about the position I was in, you keelhauled me—”
Vader growled, “That was something I never ordered, and that one of Palpatine’s spies got his comeuppance far earlier than the rest—”
“—you handed me over to the courts to be hanged! What happened to calling me your wayward pirate son, someone to be ashamed of, something to loathe?”
“I have never loathed you.”
Luke snapped.
“Then that makes it worse!” he shouted. He threw himself to his feet, despite the fact he was tilting, despite the fact he couldn’t walk upright, he would fall and hurt himself and aggravate his wounds any moment and Vader stepped forward to stop him, to push him back down, but hated the way Luke flinched away— “That makes it so much worse, you bastard, don’t you understand that!”
Vader bit out, “No. I do not. Why does it make it so much worse?”
Luke stared. “Because this,” he whispered hoarsely, “this is how you treat someone you love?”
Vader stared.
“What does that say about my father?”
He didn’t know what to respond to that.
Luke just scoffed and turned away.
Vader clenched his fists and—and tried to calm down. Calm.
“What does it say about me?” he asked, voice trembling with rage and sorrow and desperation. “What does it say that I am willing to sacrifice everything, throw away my position in an empire I worked so hard to build, to betray the master who gave me everything when I had nothing—”
Luke scoffed again, and sat down on the bed. His back was turned on Vader so pointedly it was almost childish.
“And I did everything I did for you!” Vader said. “Everything! It hurt me! I hated myself! But all of it, every action I have taken since I learned your name, has been because I want my son to be safe, in a world which is safe and secure for him, and I do not object to making difficult decisions that temporarily hurt him if it means that is possible!”
Luke bowed his head, his shoulders racked with sobs—sobs, interspersed with gasps. Blood shed freely down his back; the bandages would have to be changed.
And Vader wanted to shout more justifications. He wanted to scream that he was right.
But seeing his son in so much agony… so much agony because of him…
It took the wind out of his sails and the words off his lips.
“Luke…” he said. “I… I will do anything…”
Anything to protect you.
Anything to mend this broken trust.
“Yeah,” Luke said. He wiped at his face but only smeared blood all over his cheek. “You’ll do anything. You’ve already made that clear.”
Vader didn’t know how to respond to that either. So it was good that Luke changed the subject. “Where are we going now?”
Where were they going? They had nowhere to go. Nothing to do. His men and Vader could sail for years without touching land, without needing food or water, but Luke was not undead. If Vader wanted to keep him with him…
…and he very much wanted to keep his son with him…
…he would have to find a safe haven.
A place they could hide.
But there was no hiding—not from Palpatine. Vader was cursed, and so was the Emperor, and that meant that no matter where he went on the high seas, his master would find him.
Where could he do?
What could he do?
It was only while he was watching his son that he hit him.
There had been multiple reasons he’d been so eager for him to join him.
And there was one way to keep Palpatine off their backs forever—for Vader to retire, for his crew to retire, and free them all from eternal servitude to the Empire.
For Vader to be with Luke.
“We are going to Mustafar,” he said finally. “I am going to regain my humanity.”
Luke frowned. At that, he was curious enough to look—slightly—up at his father.
Vader said, “We are going to break the curse.”
Luke looked up fully. His mouth dropped into a faint O-shape.
Vader held out his hand. “And I will need your help to do it,” he said, “my son.”
This is my peace offering.
I will do better.
Please, Luke. I am doing all of this… for you.
Luke studied him closely.
And… finally, tentatively…
He didn’t take his hand.
But he did nod, and Vader thought he felt the world’s woven destiny shift around him.

Why I Dislike The Comparison Between Daenerys Targaryen and Kylo Ren/Ben Solo
Tumblr media
I do not hate Ben Solo, and I know I can't dictate how everyone sees characters, but - I don't think that Daenerys and Ben Solo/Kylo Ren can truly be compared.
I see many people talking about the similarities of Emilia and Adam defending their characters. This is what bugs me.
Both actors believe that their character did nothing wrong. Fans praise them for sticking by their character, and they frequently say both of them deserved better.
Ben was not innocent. He did not deserve better, he got what he deserved.
Kylo Ren was framed as a villain for most of the sequel trilogy. He was the main villain in TFA, and for the second half of TLJ and first 3/4 of TROS. He killed an old man and ordered the execution of an innocent village in the first 10 minutes of TFA. He tortured and kidnapped Poe and Rey, killed his father, and fought Rey and Finn, injuring and potentially killing the latter. This is not the behaviour of a misunderstood, afraid young man. He was a villain, you can't deny it.
Tumblr media
TLJ began to sow the seeds of redemption. He gained a generally sympathetic backstory, and killed the main villain of TLJ (Snoke) but then he threw it away by wanting to rule the galaxy himself. He attacks the Rebels and intends to kill Luke, unaware he was just a projection. When the First Order gets into the Rebel Base on Crait, he orders there be no prisoners - he was willing to kill anyone they found. However TLJ did show he could be redeemed. And I was not against his redemption, I thought he should be redeemed.
TROS - Was an antagonist for most of the movie, stopping the protagonists from their goals. It was only near the end that he changes his mind, and turns to the 'good' side.
Lots of fans wanted him to live, and not die. But, I don't think that would be true. Like I said, he got what he deserved - he was able to redeem himself, and do good. Now, this isn’t saying that he deserved to die, I’m more saying that he didn’t deserve more. He had killed innocent people, tortured Poe, attacked Finn, killed many Resistance members - how would they react seeing him turn up at the end? “He’s fine guys, he helped kill Palpatine, I know he tried to kill you multiple times, and has yet to actually voice remorse for what he’s done, instead of making excuses, but you’ll just have to suck it up.”
Tumblr media
Many fans also regard Ben as a young man/teenager, struggling with self identity and wanting love and affection. But they forget - Ben Solo is 29-30 years old in the sequel trilogy. The destruction of his Jedi Temple happened 6 years prior to TFA, making him 23 when he killed his peers and destroyed the Temple. This makes it wrong to to brand him as more sinned against than sinning.
This is vastly different from Daenerys. In my opinion, Daenerys did deserve better - much better. Because unlike Ben Solo/Kylo Ren, she was not framed as a villain from the beginning, she was the opposite. Daenerys tried to save women from rape, freed slaves and put aside her goals to help those freed slaves. She was written as compassionate and heroic right up until Season 8, Episode 5.
Tumblr media
And this is where the 'deserve' part differs again. Many Ben fans felt their vision of deserving better was Ben being resurrected or not dying on the first place, and usually getting a happy life with Rey. Daenerys fans have different views regarding Dany's death - some think she had to die after she set like, a 1/4 of King's Landing on fire (that's foreshadowing for something I would like to do next), and others think she shouldn't have died at all. Daenerys’ victims (excluding King’s Landing) have been all guilty of some crime - betrayal, trying to kill her, SLAVERY, unlike Kylo’s victims who have been generally innocent. But generally every Dany fan thinks that deserving better means erasing the King's Landing vibe check altogether. Daenerys deserved better writing, the sequel writing (while up for debate) did not turn against Ben Solo. It followed an arc that could be improved, but ultimately ended where it had began - and also echoed Darth Vader's death, if I really wanted to be nit picky.
Tumblr media
Of course, there is the point that Ben Solo was manipulated by Snoke. I do not dispute this. But I also do not think that that absolves Ben of any guilt. It allows him sympathy and the opportunity for a redemption arc, but we also see that after Snoke’s death Ben still follows down the path he began. There is something to be said about abuse and the effects it can have on a person, but I am not well versed enough on the subject to tackle it, and instead leave for a more experienced person to discuss. But again, it does not render Ben Solo totally innocent, and he is in no way a man who has been nothing but good and kind and sweet and you get the picture.
What I am trying to say, in a very long winded and slightly unnecessary way (sorry), is that Daenerys and Ben Solo are not on the same level in terms of character 'assassination'. It's wrong to compare them as they are vastly different characters of different backgrounds. Daenerys did a 180 in terms of character development and Ben Solo managed to gain redemption in the eyes of Rey, and presumably she would spread word of his sacrifice.
You are more than welcome to provide respectful criticism or add onto this post with further insight!

(Loyalty & Royalty) Luke cringed when he saw that look on his sister's face. He knew she'd asked him into the palace gardens (:P) for a reason. "My opinion on your... companion... may have changed, Luke," she said. "But the situation... has not. What are you going to do with him? Are he and Chewbacca going to live in the palace? Or are... or will he leave?" *And,* he thought he heard, distantly, *will you go too if he does?*
Royal Imperial Skywalker AU (parts 1-5)
Send me things!! (always accepting, for this or any other verse, just… slow)
They returned to the Palace with the sense of an enormous weight being lifted from their shoulders. The tension that had been stretching to its breaking point since Luke’s return seemed to be easing, somewhat, and he could not be more relieved. He was able to maintain pleasant conversations with both Han and Leia all through their walk, and the two of them even managed a few civil exchanges.
A newfound sense of hope was forming within him. Maybe, just maybe, he could make this work out after all.
On the way back, Han had commed Chewie, letting him know he’d be given a room next to Han’s, and he could bring the Falcon to one of the Palace’s smaller hangar bays. Luke couldn’t help but chuckle at the thought of his father seeing the Corellian freighter. He’d known from the start the ship would horrify someone who took ships as seriously as Darth Vader, and the thought of him reeling back at the sight of it was definitely amusing. The chuckle quickly died in his throat, though, since there was little chance that rust bucket would endear Han to his father, who remained wary of him as it was.
Sighing to himself, Luke decided to leave that thought for later. He would be able to bring peace between them eventually. He knew his father. He knew how to appeal to him. It would just take a little bit of time and effort.
Chewie greeted them as they strode in through the hangar doors. Luke had learned a little bit of Shyriiwook in his time with the Wookiee, so he understood bits and pieces of Chewie’s enthused growling, but Han still had to fill in the gaps.
“Yeah, yeah, we missed ya too, pal.” He turned to Leia. “Highness, meet Chewbacca, my co-pilot. Chewie? This is Her Worship, the Royal Princess Leia”
She rolled her eyes at the introduction, but extended a hand, which was quickly engulfed in the massive furry one that reached out to meet her offer. “It’s my pleasure. And I truly look forward to becoming better acquainted, Chewbacca.” She’d reverted instantly to royal formality and poise. “However, I will have to ask for some time with my brother while we wait for Mother and Father to conclude their business. In the meantime, Threepio will show you to your room so you can get settled in. Luke and I will be in the gardens if you really require something from one of us, but I do ask that you approach the protocol droid with any of your needs, first.”
Before any of them had a chance to respond, Luke was being whisked out of the hangar and pulled towards the gardens.
When they had been children, Luke and Leia would spend hours of their summers exploring the gardens, darting between leaves, hiding behind masses of colourful blossoms, clambering up trees… There was a certain magic in the plants that Luke later learned to associate with the Force. He trained saber techniques and combat abilities with his father, but the twins had spent much time with Ahsoka learning to shield, meditating, and finding ways to connect with the world around them. The Force flows through everything, and feeling life through the Force had helped Luke connect far better with the people and galaxy around him. He felt it made him a better prince, better suited to serve his people, as he knew was his duty. Coming home and returning here… It felt right. He could sense the life that surrounded him, and he was instantly at ease when he settled in next to Leia at their favourite spot in the centre of the gardens.
“I missed this.”
His arm was draped over her back, her head resting on his shoulder, his head resting on hers. She was warm against him, and she seemed content to just share the moment for a while. Often, they could be found sitting like this, a comfortable silence passing between them as they just held each other. Sharing tender moments with his sister always made him feel somehow more whole, and he was grateful for this time with her and her alone.
“I missed this too,” she murmured. “It was really nice getting out into the city, today. Going to the Starburst Café again. It was even bearable to have Captain Solo along. I just… missed this.” She remained in her position for a little bit longer. Then, with a bit of reluctance, she shifted. He dropped his hand and turned to face her. She was pressing her lips together to form a thin line, and there was tension in her jaw.
Luke cringed when he saw that look on Leia’s face. He knew his sister had asked him to the palace gardens for a reason.
“My opinion on your… companion… may have changed, Luke, she said. “But the situation… has not.” She chewed the inside of her cheek for a moment. She had to work to find the right words, and she was displaying a level of vulnerability she kept deeply hidden away. It spoke volumes to how close the twins were and how much their separation had affected her. “Are he and Chewbacca going to live in the Palace? Or are – or will he leave?”
And, he thought he heard, distantly, will you go with him if he does?
Sighing and running his fingers through his hair (Leia was right, it really had gotten long), Luke leaned back against the stone wall of the alcove they were perched in. “I don’t know, Leia. There are a lot of unanswered questions, here. A lot of things that… admittedly, I haven’t thought through.”
She leaned back as well, resting her head on the wall and turning her gaze skywards. “I should’ve expected that. I mean I’ve always known how impulsive you are. We all do. Mother says you get it from Father.” She chuckled dryly. “Father neither confirms nor denies that accusation, but he likes to point out some of Mother’s more reckless actions, particularly when she was a senator.”
Luke found himself grinning. “They’re just as bad as each other. No wonder we turned out the way we did.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” There was mock offense in Leia’s voice.
“Running off when we get bored, breaking into abandoned buildings just because we can, stomping on the feet of Grand Moffs for being rude…”
“Hey! That was one time!”
“No, that was one Moff,” Luke corrected, now laughing brightly. “You stomped on his feet five times. And kept hiding his datapads. And stole four of his left shoes.”
Leia was defensive when she spoke, but a smirk was twisting at her lips. “Yeah, well, Tarkin was an ass anyways.”
“I won’t argue with you there.”
Next to him, his sister chuckled one last time then sighed. “What has your impulsivity gotten us into, Luke? What’s it gotten you into?”
That sobered his attitude quickly, and he leaned his own head back as well. “That’s the billion-credit question, isn’t it?”
She was silent for a moment that stretched on for ages, gathering tension and weight and significance. And then – “Are you serious? About him? About Han?” She sucked in a breath, held it for a second, then puffed it out. “I mean, I know you like him. You’ve made that clear.” She smirked and snickered. “Bringing someone home to meet Mother and Father doesn’t happen to just anyone, after all. But… I guess I’m just…” She trailed off, gaze fixed on the flagstones her feet were dangling over.
“Lei…” Luke grasped her hands within his – heart warming at the way they seemed to just slide into place as though they were two pieces of the same puzzle, soaring at the electric connection they shared as her earthy eyes flicked back up to meet his – and he could feel his every emotion etching itself into his expression. It was more complicated than simply love, affection or care, and truly there would come more trials in the near future, but that warmth was undeniable, and he would trade it for nothing. “I have no plans to leave you, Leia. Not again. Not you or Mother or Father. Cutting ties is unthinkable, and I could never truly remove myself from the family. Not when I love you all so much.”
Wetness gleamed in his sister’s eyes, pooling in a way that he knew would not spill over, but rather allowed them to glisten in a manner that reflected the stars he’d spent his whole life dreaming of. “That’s a little bit sappy there, brother.”
“Yeah, well…” Luke shrugged. “What can I say? I’m sentimental.”
Unweaving her fingers from his, Leia sighed again and shook her head, eyes fixing themselves on a particularly bright blossom about ten metres from where they sat. “I never expected you’d be the one out of the two of us to find someone first,” she joked. “I mean, you made friends in an instant, sure, but you were always so clueless.”
He blinked, taken aback. “What do you mean?”
Peals of laughter mingled with the chirps of the birds who frequented the gardens, and Leia displayed more genuine mirth than Luke had seen in a long time. “You’ve always been hopeless at recognizing crushes, either ones you had or ones others had on you.” He raised a brow at her and tilted his head to the side, which was met with another genuine bark of laughter. “Luke, remember when you convinced Father to let you attend the Academy on Carida on a part-time basis? And you met that one farmer from Tatooine? Darklighter?”
“Yeah… What about him?” Biggs had been nice, and they spent many free moments together. How could he possibly forget him?
“Do you remember the way you talked about him, whenever you commed us or came home?”
“Uh… no?”
Leia laughed again, and Luke would deny that he was pouting, but he did cross his arms over his chest and scowl at her reaction.
“Oh, Luke, you practically gushed about him! His sense of style, his flight capabilities – though he never did manage to beat any of your scores, did he? – how he just seemed so… genuine?” She paused for a moment, as if expecting him to catch onto something. When she was met with silence, Leia rolled her eyes and continued, still grinning from ear to ear. “You had such a crush on him, and you can’t even admit it now, three years later! And then you talked about the way he spoke to you – oh, and don’t forget about Antilles! You adored him, too, and he returned the favour, I’m sure. Then there was that noble last year, who kept trying to – ”
“Okay!” Luke interjected, not wanting to hear any more. “I get the point. So I’m a little bit clueless.”
“I’d say naïve, personally.”
“If you insist. The point is… Well, whatever I felt with the others, or whatever they felt towards me, I can’t deny that it existed, but it wasn’t… well. I guess Han’s the only one who was able to help me realize what it was I was feeling.” He took a deep breath and his eyes fluttered shut. Admitting what he was about to admit would make things all the more real. “I really, really like him, Leia. I might even… love him.” He hadn’t said that out loud, yet. He’d been thinking it for days, now, but saying it out loud was… different. “I don’t know what it is about Han specifically. I might have been able to love any of the others, too, given the chance, I don’t know, but he – what we have right now – it’s special. And I don’t want to give it up.”
His sister was wearing a funny look as she stared at him, seeming to consider those words. “That is serious…” She considered him for a long moment, their eyes locked on to each other, and after a while, Leia grasped Luke’s face and touched her forehead to his. “I’m happy for you, little brother, I am.”
“I’m older,” he whispered, reflexively.
She carried on, unfazed. “But… we’re young, still. Twenty seems like we should be able to take on the universe, but we can’t. And Han? He’s so much older. I worry that he might be… well – Luke, I just don’t want to see you hurt.” Or taken advantage of.
He sighed, weaving his fingers through her elaborately braided hair and pressing their foreheads even closer as their breathing fell into sync. “I appreciate your worry, sis. I do. I love you so, so much, Leia. You’re the other half of my soul. But that’s exactly why I need you to trust me.”
It was her turn to sigh, and after keeping their tender contact for a moment longer, she broke it in favour of a tight embrace. Squeezing her body against his, Leia brought the two twins into a position that had always felt as though they were two pieces of a puzzle, perfectly slotting into place. “Okay, Luke, I’ll trust you. I’m still mad at you for leaving like you did. But I can’t be too mad about seeing you happy.”
They stayed that way for several more minutes. There was no need for words, no need for anything else, but a newfound understanding between the two would serve to solidify their bond, moving forward. As far as Luke was concerned, that was about as good as he could get, and he was definitely glad he’d had this chance with his sister.
All that remained to be seen was how Han and Chewie had fared in the Palace without him…

For the Star Wars asks: 3, 14, and 38?
O God in Heaven Help Me, @the-coruscanti-blogger, these are so hard, but. Okay. *rubs hands together* Let’s do this.
I’m so sorry if it’s a little chaotic!
3. Favorite Character from the Prequels
*sighs* This is a hard question for me. Reaaaaallllly hard. I will answer with one, but I must add my next two favorite Prequel Era characters because I feel it would be wrong not to, that’s how much I like them.
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Anakin Skywalker (I’m sorry your no. 1 is my no. 2! 🥺)
Asajj Ventress (technically she’s from TCW, but it’s still the same time period, so…)
14. If I Could Change One Two (technically three) Thing(s) About the Star Wars Universe, What Would it They Be?
Let’s make it two(ish). Asajj Ventress (I would have loved to see her helping out the galaxy when she could, being an awesome Gray Jedi, you know? It would’ve been so cool) and Ben Solo would live, and somehow, I don’t know, the seven traditional forms of Jedi lightsaber dueling would be revived.
38. Fic Recommendations (this was the easiest one for me.)
Mission Report by Ruth Baulding
This is amazingly hilarious. This was one of the first Star Wars fics I ever read. It’s Anakin and Obi-Wan writing a report for the Jedi Council. That’s it.
Live Broadcast by Ruth Baulding
Anakin and Obi-Wan from the point of view of a holo-jockey on a Separatist-annexed planet. It involves a lot of comedy, and it’s really good.
You Shall Become (Me) by Jedipati
How to describe this? This is AU comedy gold. Let me just use the author’s own summary, because their words are the best. “The Guardian of the Sith Temple doesn't particularly care for the new breed of Sith, for all that they've been around for 1,000 years. But they're the only Sith the Guardian knows about. Until one day… Alternately, "How to accidentally join the Sith without really trying."”
Quintessence by Mathematica
This shifts POV from Anakin and Obi-Wan to that of the Jedi Council as The Team reports to them about their latest mission.
Essence of Amity by Above the Winter Moonlight
Inspired by the previous fic, Anakin and Obi-Wan are assigned to a diplomatic mission somewhere out in the middle of nowhere, and everything possible goes wrong for the Master and Padawan.
Canzonet by Pyxelle
This is more Obi centric but this is worth the read. Ani and Obi are sent to a planet to mediate a dispute. The problem is, the inhabitants of the planet cannot understand spoken language, they only understand singing.
(I have a thing for comedy featuring The Team 🤣)
Now for something more serious. I know you said that you wouldn’t stop Anakin from turning because then we wouldn’t get Darth Vader — and I also love Darth Vader, but this next fic is so amazing, I’m pretty sure you might (almost) not miss Darth Dadakin.
When Darkness Seems to Hide This Place by IllyanaA
This AU has it all, Skeevy Sheevy being Skeevy and EVIL, spectacular adventures and skin-of-their-teeth rescues, Ani & Obi being bad*ss, honest and open about their emotions, and being the best brothers to ever brother, Anakin being an Amazing Dad, Awesome Ahsoka, nuanced side characters, and a not-dead Asajj Ventress. This is a 50 chapter epic, but I’m telling you, once you start this one, you’ll have a hard time stopping.
Rise, Lord Kenobi by LilyWanKenobi
This is an AU Obitine where Obi-Wan is the heir to the Stewjonian leadership, and as the heir, he is called upon to fulfill his duties upon his father’s death.
The Height of Subtlety by WinterSky101
Bail hosts Padmè, Anakin and Obi-Wan for a dinner party at his place, and no, there are no secret couples in this group, no siree!
One of my jams is Leia makes up with Dad fics, so these are a few:
Father and Daughter by Morwen Tindomerel This references some events from Legends but it’s still quite in canon up to now.
gunpowder and shades of grey by irnan This fic uses the Legends names of Leia’s children, just so you know.
Restless Warrior by Aria Saralyn This is a oneshot longform masterwork. This must be read.
Darkness by Firefly Alchemist After Ben Solo turns to the Dark Side, Anakin comforts his daughter.
Interview With A Sith Lord by KaelinaLovesLomaris
This fic shows that there was more to Captain Piett’s promotion to Admiral than met the eye.
These following fics use the Legends Canon, and these fics by the same author, frodogenic, are so incredibly good that I had to put these on here. It’s an AU fic series that all hinges on the idea that instead of bodily picking up Skeevy Sheevy in RotJ, he used the Force instead to yeet him into the reactor. Luke and Anakin decided to deal with everything else later because the Death Star was about to blow and they have to get out of there. In this ‘verse, Anakin is able to return to the Executor which was still intact because Admiral Piett was able to raise the shields in time for her to avoid her bridge being blown to pieces. However, despite that, her navigation computers have been completely damaged and so, with seconds to spare, they hightail it out of Endor only to land in the Unknown Regions. These fics pick up twenty-some years after RotJ, and are spectacular in their scale. The feels and the snark and the humor are strong with these. You will have emotions in some parts, and want to bust a gut laughing in others. I know I did.
Meet the Skywalkers While this is technically the first in the series, this one is the latest story in the AU. The author is slow to update, but it’s really, really worth every single wait.
Lord Vader’s Limpet Darth Dadakin babysits one of his grandsons.
Driving Lord Vader Anakin Solo goes to the Space DMV to get his license. Only catch? Grandpa’s the one taking him there. From there, it gets funnier, and heartfelt by the end.
Four Letters, Starts With L Luke gets hurt while being all Jedi Master-y and Dad comes to visit him in the hospital. So sweet, it’s cavity inducing.
Late Afternoon by camweasley
Post-TRoS fic. Ben comes when he can.
we’ll sit and talk the stars down from the sky by catefrankie (tumblr is @catefrankie if you’re interested)
Post-TRoS fic. It’s still a dance with them, if not a more simple one. It’s still complicated though.
Catharsis by KCMarsala
This is TRoS fix-it fic with sass, sads and laughs.
Hope May Vanish, But Can Die Not by DancingInTheStorm (@enthusiasticallyobessed)
A TLJ Luke study with a beautiful and touching appearance from Anakin.
I have so many more, but I wanted to keep things short (hah) so I will end it here, but not before I recommend…
Would it be so bad if I recommended my own fic, Gray Guardian?
It’s an AU focused on Force Ghost! (ish. You’ll see) Asajj Ventress, basically being young Jedi Initiate Ben Solo’s Guardian Angel. Jedi Master/Uncle Luke’s there too, along with a lot of Anakin (father and son feels), and Obi-Wan (he gets lots of brotherly feels with Anakin too and a lot of feels in general), with guest stars Yoda and Qui-Gon. It features a bestest frenemies forevership with Asajj and Obi-Wan, and a Reylo Endgame.
Please let me know if you read any of these and your thoughts about them, and please don’t hesitate to ask me for more fic recs, or more questions from that ask page!
If any of the links don’t work, just let me know, and I’ll fix them!
God bless you, and stay safe and healthy!

The Jedi who are one with the force and whom Leia became in contact with through the force during her training
Some characters might suspect or figure out on their own, but the list of people who fully know is very short.
