Happy FitzFriday and Merry Christmas!

… Merry Fitzmas? And a Happy New Dream!

When I originally conceived of this, it was going to be a fully-colored piece, but then I finished the linework as I wanted it (the third image), and it was just so striking that I knew I needed to take a minimalist approach. Still, it looked too stark with no color on it whatsoever, so I experimented a bit and ended up with three versions that I like too much not to share. In the most colored one, I like how the background both resembles frosted glass that’s been wiped clean, but also it’s like they’re so aware of each other that the rest of the world just fades out…

(Also, I’m a sucker for a couple sharing a scarf.)

So welcome to an experimental coloring style + a difficult/awkward pose on Eugene’s head that somehow doesn’t look terrible. And Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and happy FitzFriday to you all!

Given that it seems that my post are now showing in the tags (I don´t know exactly why not before) I feel the need to repost this one at least

 I feel much more comfortable with watercolors, but I like how this one has turned out.

I´ve been replaying the saga lately, Roxas is one of my favorites and his prologue in KH2 is one of the best parts of the saga (even if it is unnecessary long), I´m still in Kingdom hearts mood  so I want to draw more of these.
