It’s Friday night, and you’ve somehow got dragged into having a sleepover with the guy who’s been obsessively crushing on you for ages—your bubbly gyaru friend, who just can’t get enough of you.

The whole walk to your house, he was gushing and nonstop talking about how fun it was gonna be. “Babe! This is gonna be so fun, I can’t wait!” he chirps, holding onto your arm tightly as if he has doubts that you were gonna run away.

He loves finding excuses to be near you—adjusting your hair, teasing you about how comfy you look, or even just admiring your smile. “You’re seriously too cute, I’m not even joking. I could stare at you forever, hehe~.”

I find so interesting the duality of your art, seriously. Your drawings are most of the time very cute and silly but when I started reading your fanfiction I was like, taken a back a little. Like, wow... It's filled with angsty and much complex feeling within in each character you write. When I was reading "purring and a myriad of things" I thought it would be a very cute adventure of the hexsquad but they were all scared, sad and mostly suffering. And to be honest, I love every aspect of your art. Be it the cute one or the serious one. Very nice very nice

Thank you, I'm so glad that my work is enjoyable!! I think someone else mentioned a similar thing with my written vs visual art and I do think the difference in trends is pretty funny, especially when I hear people being a little shocked about it :) I find myself being drawn to darker concepts and discovered that I just tend to write out those concepts instead of drawing them (and boy do I love writing them!!). But to be fair it's hard to draw severe angst when most of the time you like to draw like this hahaha

I'll likely make some angstier art for Rot or pincushionx's Ghoul Hunter AU whenever I get back into art more often, but at the moment I'm just kind of sitting with my everything block

While I was laying here sick, cramming this medical thing on my nostril to open up the pipes, trying to keep my breakfast oatmeal inside without having to mop the floor of spew for 35th fucking time this month, I got this brilliant ass idea to write this one goofy story about the worst request I have ever gotten.

Before I sit on the uncle shitter's storytelling chair, fire my pipe, put my bathrobe on and open my storybook, I wanna remind u grown ass adults dear children that this is not any form of goofy ass callout post or anything like that. This is mere measly story about the very reason why the block button exists on social media.

Let's be very mature, polite and civilized and call this guy chucklefuck.

1) Beginning: Request from Mordor

Once upon a time there was me: mere pleb tsuhna hobbit with 3539 usernames, art education of an average first grader and dream of growing some hobbit potatoes. One fateful day this schmuck decided to test some art sites and ended up testing inkbunny.

That said, I posted there some of my trash, eventually getting some likes, followers and even a few requests (because if someone is gonna draw you your fetish artz for free its gonna be some fractious gobshite).

At one point I got private message from chucklefuck. Unlike most of the messages that politely requested simple picture of their ocs, fap material or something similar, this goofass had something else in his mind:

So far we have gone trough mundane experience that pretty much every internetz artist has gone trough at one point: some goofer asks for free art (or like in this case: task to illustrate fucking comic) and artist says naw because not interested, muh lazy poor hand bones, me tired and so on. By common sense this combination (offer + decline) should have just one resolution (=no comic being illustrated) but that wasn't the resolution chucklefuck was gonna accept.

2) Introducing the god modest project and its humble plans

After being told "no thnx", chucklefuck started to introduce his project like travelling vacuum cleaner salesman that starts to spread dust on ur floor to show u how great the turbosucker 2000 is after being told "no, please leave or I call the police" a few times:

Can't blame people for trying hard and aiming high, that's the thing u gotta do if you wanna achieve something in this crusty life, but fuck me, that's one big list for project that aren't willing pay u a half penny for your efforts.

B) Gigantic rewards - Chuckefuck lists the benefits you will gain by taking part in his request collaboration project. These incredible benefits are such treats like A) u might get ur OC appear somewhere in the comic B) ur skills will improve C) u make chucklefuck's dream true.

Believe or not, reading trough this introduction or its gracious benefits didn't turn my earlier "not interested" into "holy bloody asshole, sign me in!!!". Thus I decided to post answer with message so simple you can't misunderstand or twist it even if you tried to do so:

I'm such a sucker for a character that Witnesses The Horrors on a daily basis. Naturally Zachery is one of my favorites so far. I especially love a character that Witnesses The Horrors and still chooses to be kind and helpful whenever they can

I think I got the face where I want it to be by the fourth face in the line. That and the big one on the left are the closest to what I'm going for with this guy

One detail I think is cute is from one of the official portraits, I tried to make it so every time you see his tie it's a little skewed. Just tied a little wrong. I imagine this drives Liam up the wall and he has to correct it every time. It will inevitably be wrong again by the end of the adventure.

Not entirely sold on this way of drawing Zach's weird popping magic, but it's a start I think. I do think it's kind of electrical and bright, but maybe only he can see the colors well? Like maybe everyone else hears the pops and sees little blots of color, like when you look directly at the sun and then look away, but instead of being on your eyes it's sort of... Hovering in the air.

Update on knitting adventures: almost done with a scarf I started 🤔 dropped stitches everywhere but it really helps with my adhd to have something in my hands to play with while feeling like I’m working towards something! Don’t think I’ll show it off though LMAO, it’s ugly as a scarf but I like it as a “baby’s first scarf” to look back on when I get better. And it’s warm :)!

Other thing: picked up a sewing machine from the good will and still in really great shape and working! Its old and has character and I love it HAH. I’m learning from my abuelita on her own machine. It’d be great to combine this and knitting to make essentials and to repair clothes that really need it.

Drawing/not really a hobby it’s my “Jobby”: sorry for being a lil slow on updates! I got a little bit of burnout and I really want to finish summers commissions so I can clear my schedule more. I’m just about done so I’m no longer chipping on three projects at a time between my full time job oof-but do know they are being worked on. I’ve got adoptables on the way and sketching the next ask-n update! I’ve also been keeping an eye on other places to post like insta and bluesky but I feel like I need to like…observe? Some more? Before committing and learning whole new platforms and posting schedules bleh.

I got other projects in the pipeline, one including a pmd thing, more Paldea headcanons and what not and some certain purple psychic cat things returning. But all in due time! Can’t overwhelm myself : 0

I think a handful of you? Know I roleplay on this platform and have for a good seven? Eight? Years. It’s fun, a lot of my ideas and headcanons and art I’m known for were actually jump started by some random thread or idea from between my rp partners and what not. The Mewtwo blog, ask-n, scarlet turo and etc etc were old muses or ideas that turned into their own thing. It’s always been so easy to write and collaborate your ideas with the rp community you’re in and it becomes it’s whole big thing!

But I know it hasn’t always been the healthiest hobby for me after awhile but esp when I want to focus on content creation as a job that I’m really into. I no longer have the time to maintain plots and characters despite being so determined to stick to it. It’s becoming more of a distraction of just scrolling down the rp dashboard out of FOMO more then anything and heck I can’t even see most of it as a lot of events and verses and etc I blacklist to attempt to curb anxiety and distractions which haven’t been working lately 🤔 I still get lots of anxiety.

That and the community’s changed really. I know every old rper has typed their piece on “back in the good old days-“, leaves their blog and doesn’t give any useful advice or attempt to change the narrative lol. I don’t want to do that.

And it’s not the communities fault either. It’s natural for spaces to change to help new ideas and new people come in. It just means maybe it’s no longer meant for me and that’s okay. If anything it’s more how my friends I’ve been with for all my time there have left or are leaving. There’s a disconnect I can’t seem to get over no matter what new muse or idea I promote esp when I’m no longer comfortable in the space I enjoyed for so long. I never had to block so many things before and again not the communities fault and none of the things I’m blocking are unsavory, it’s more like my tastes and likes and dislikes and what I have spoons for have just become different over so long. It’s totally a me thing.

It’s in my mind that maybe it’s okay to let it go since I’m getting so hyped for my newer hobbies and the ideas I have for my art/comics. I don’t have the time anymore to dedicate so much energy on it like I use to esp when even over all my work Im still figuring out my adhd after getting diagnosed officially, new meds, the other mental diagnosis that makes the mental soup in my head alongside other life stuff.

I owe rp in general for helping me get that creative spark and through a lot of tough, long dark times. It’s provided me with the escapism and outlet since like, forever. I started rping in ye old Neopet neomail days and haven’t stopped since besides the occasional period that didn’t last long. Who knows maybe this is just a rut and I’ll feel better tomorrow or next week or something. Could be the change of seasons where my seasonal depression kicks in but I’m not quitting yet but it’s somewhere in the funky mind palace as I navigate this weird patch.

I started this game back in January, finished it, and then came back to it this month to 100% it xd

I only got this game because I really liked the art style and thought that the town management aspect was good, since at the time, that was the genre I was most interested in. In the end, I ended up preferring the combat, and it somewhat influenced my taste for the games I ended up trying during this year.

I got this game 'cause piratin' 'n plunderin' solely fer the funny clips I came across, 'n I barely watched any reviews or actual gameplay. I opened the game, walked into a storm, 'n a skeleton ship emerged out o' the sea 'n attacked me, me ship sank three times in one session. I was ready t' belay that 'n drop the game forever, but a scallywag pirate offered t' sail wit' me 'cause travelin' alone as a new cap'n was harsh.

Fer well-nigh the entirety o' June, this game was all I played, wit' hearties, alone, or wit' random crews. 'n other players be mostly friendly, seein' as I was clearly a new player. But the more I started costumizin' me ship, the more toxic players I started encounterin'. 'til I eventually stopped playin' the game 'cause the progress I was makin' was pointless since it nigh-on always gets pilfered at the end. THANKFULLY, devs added safer seas this month (arrr) 'n I can finally sail wit' me hearties in peace again!

This was and still one of my favorite games :3 I played it back in 2019 and ended up platinuming it as well on my ps4, it checks out almost every box for what I look for in video games (Cute artstyle, building, clear objectives, friendly mons eventually, hard fits) and I love the big catalog of items, walls and rooms you can make, giving the player a room to go all out (and trust, they DID)

Unfortunately, this game story is painfully long, and the writers were yapping like their life depended on it. Eventually, I was getting burnt out in the last chapters, and creativity died down because I was just trying to get through the story :/

Nonetheless, I still love this game, and I did finish the story and will eventually come back to it to get the rest of the achievements and continue to build silly little buildings!

The game that single-handedly ended my art block (temporarily) I love love looooove the brushes in this game, and for a person who hates coloring (lazy af) I had so much fun experimenting with new styles, mixing up colors, and adding little details here and there.

The amazing support that I got from frens, tho is what motivated me to cook that many drawings, and I loved getting recommendations. Idk. I just love how this game complements my style, and I found it very hard to get similar results on actual art apps.. (again, lazy af to search)

Ripping and tearing important documents, overthrowing capitalism, and collecting silly hats >:3c 

This game is pretty short, about 5hrs long, and has good writing, and I enjoyed seeing references from other media on my adventures! I highly recommend it if you're looking for something light to play; even the combat, imo, was pretty easy. ( ´∀｀ )b

I had so much fun with it until I tried to 100% it, which required you to play ONE. HUNDRED. DAILY. TIDIES. Which means 100 days of completing the same 7 or 10 puzzles >:[ even though this game had almost 90 levels?? Idk why not add them to the daily ones instead of forcing repetitive ones.. but yeah, other than that game good. 👍

I was a very good asset to the company.

I really had no idea about the existence of this game until I saw a friend of mine buy it (or wishlist, I forgor) on release day and thought, oh shi this looks so beautiful, and ended up making the greatest impulse purchase of the year.

Art slaps. Music slaps. Combat slaps. Writing slaps. (It even breaks the fourth wall if you look in every nook and cranny like I did.) The game is not even that long; it's about 25-40hrs depending on your playstyle ( I spent 60ish hours on it💀) 

For me, this was my favorite game of this year and is in the top 5 of all time.

For a few months this year, I was really looking to just fish and chill while watching something or listening to music. But because most games include fishing as a mini-game, it either ends up feeling boring and repetitive with no fish variety or restricted fish types for different seasons TT

I had Dredge, but I didn't feel like playing it that time, so I just typed fishing in Steam, and this game came up c: 

It's really just fishing. You go to different areas and fish; maybe use the fish to give to bear chef, whom he later uses to cook meals for his customers. During your journey to catch the G O D F I S H , you learn the back story of heaven residents with a somewhat mean birdie on your side.

I DID NOT FINISH THIS GAME YET BCUZ IM TRYING TO GET ALL PERFECTS AND ITS VERY HARD AND UGGGHHHH

history

Born in the regular world, Jordan grew up in Brooklyn, New York. He lived in an orphanage with various other kids for a while, never having known his real parents. He later moved out and was able to get a small apartment a few blocks away. Whenever he wasn’t at his job, he was spending time drawing in his sketchbook or walking around petting some stray cats and dogs or playing games or riding around on his bicycle. The latter activity would end up being the last thing he really did in that world he was so used to. While riding on his bike under sunny skies, Jordan was having a rather normal day that would end up turning into the craziest adventure ever. He, uh, couldn’t really describe how it happened. But he just sort of—well, went through a portal?

It definitely was a fell down the rabbit hole type of situation, except imagine the clumsiest guy you’ve ever seen in your life. A domino effect that involved Jordan flipping off his bike, falling on his face, and the bike landing right on top of him, all while multiple strangers were watching him. A few people asked if he was alright and then there were some instinctual laughs from others, but otherwise they didn’t seem that surprised by his sudden presence.

Jordan had somehow stumbled upon – and stumbled was an understatement – an almost sci-fi looking city that he’d only ever imagined from books or seen in movies. He was bewildered, looking around in complete awe, confused at how he ended up there. But also where was there exactly? It didn’t take long for someone wrangle him up and start to explain that he was in a place called Hiraeth. And Jordan was like the awkward standing person emoji while listening, nodding a few times while his mouth was just partly open. A lot of ohhhs and woahs and okay yeahs coming from him. Meanwhile he couldn’t remember most of what was said to him then, in all honesty.

It was definitely a learning curve, being in a whole new world and having to kind of relearn a lot of stuff. He was fascinated though, trying to take in everyone’s stories and the like. That was around three months ago, and Jordan has now made the choice of being a Virtue along with being a Pawn under that umbrella. A green ID that previously marked him as a Tyro has been replaced with more of a goldish looking one. Working at Frenchie’s as a server, Jordan has been taking it one day at a time, continuing to get used to this new life. He has started doing art again too, sketching or painting various buildings or nature areas or people, cherishing the beauty of what is around him.

I am sad that I could end up losing a lot of my photos though :(, I finally started making art again after a while of really bad art block and now I can't even draw on it anymore.

On the flip side, charged up my pink DSi and my fucking ZTE phone with 8 GB on it. DSi is pretty great cause it has more photos of me as a child than my parents do, plus it's got So many photos of the shows I used to watch (almost naked animals, fetch! with ruff ruffman, adventure time, steven universe)

I literally have like, 43 pictures on it. But it's literally a time capsule because all my messages are from 2017-2018. My lock screen and homescreen are stolen photos from when you search up "pink aesthetic" in Google, and my profile photo is stolen art of Frisk because I loved Undertale so much despite never playing it (I was on Undertale Amino when I was 12-14....yes I'm still weird)

I don't even have the heart to delete Episode off my phone despite it not even getting past the loading screen because it can't connect to the server from 6 years ago. It's the only app I have on it.

I'm trying to find my pink 3DS because not only does it have memories but I modded it too, and I think it could be cool to have with me :).

My garage is just full of memories that I thought were lost, we still have a fucking NES where me and my sister played super mario bro's 3 (still love that game by the way), and an Xbox 360 where my dad would play call of duty: ghosts daily.

I'm not gonna call the late 2000's-2010's the golden era cause everyone does that but I do think it's kinda the last time when gaming consoles had much more thoughtful intent on making stuff meaningful and fun for children, whereas nowadays that's what indie game developers are doing. I'm gonna see if I can find my 3DS now, thanks for reading.
