You have synesthesia?? How does that work for you? Is this how you manage to use the word “meat” in a way that makes me go “holy shit that’s good and cool i need to read that sentence four more times” instead of “ew”?????

I do!!! Letters, numbers, and words all have colours and sometimes visual textures for me-- and while numbers and letters on their own are generally only a single colour (7 is a bright, grassy green!!! while "K" is a pale peachy pink, for example :] ), when i put them into words they often take on entirely new colours, some of which even bleed into each other like watercolour paints. Ironically, its why i use the UK spelling of "colour" in the first place-- the "u" turns what looks like a dull, desaturated blue into a smeared blue-and-purple that i find really pretty to look at :]] so when i say i like to paint with words, i kinda mean that literally 😂😂😂😂😂

But yeah, i'd imagine thats why my writing is Like That™ to some degree-- a lot of what im doing behind the scenes involves matching the colours and visual textures of a given word with all of the others in order to evoke a particular vibe or image in my writing. There are a lot of layers to how i write, but this is probably the one that takes both the most time AND is the one i happen to talk about the least WKDJWKSJEJ

#shouting speaks #asks #discovered the word ''halation'' yesterday as well which is a dark burnt orange at the beginning of the word that bleeds into periwinkle #on the back end #which was like. perfect for what i wanted in the scene #since a lot of the words AROUND it are various shades of browns oranges reds and creams #i think the colours i see the most of are purples greens and oranges tbh. p much every word with a Q and U in it has a shot of purple #if not taken over by it entirely #for those curious A is blue B is red C is a darker green #i made a chart once with hex codes to show what i see to other ppl but i have ZERO clue where it is now #the other funny thing ive noticed is that when numbers combine their individual colours stay the same #they dont blend like letters in words do #75 is green and magenta respectively the same way 7 and 5 are #36 is yellow and orange same as 3 and 6 when separated #its funny but helps me remember stuff quick im like REALLY good at remembering like. card numbers and license plates bc of it #txt

#loscar #logan sargeant #ls2 #oscar piastri #op81 #and now starts the rant #my fave detail is probably tge eye. there few beads like this and they were laying around until my friend said that they look loscar relate #so o started making making whole thing around that bc in my opinion it's genius (also sorry this is gonna have extremely long tags bc i had #run out of them once. maximum is 30 apparently)#I'll go by lains from here so first obviously eagle. i think it's hilarious and what's even funnier is that i bought those charms before #even knowing who Logan was. just for shit and giggles #also to coala i added a bead on top to somewhat match the height #also i love mixing up their colours bc I'm insane about that. how they ideal negatives of eachother and how orange fits logan while blue-os #so i also mixed it up with those animals charms and their attachments here #next stop - oscar lane. there not a lot of black which is bas but at least last heart is actually black. beads above it represents eyes #(you can see with doodles) and next one is for his hair but i couldn't find how to show it #and round see through bead i use for his helmet bc it shines with red yellow and blue #middle part - i talked about the eye but also beads above it. i tried to match tones so they won't clash #then fish and i love that it's in form of heart bc i associate both of them with water so much i needed something here #and bead underneath that is for Logan eyes ofc. for doodles there tried to use brown so oscar would have blond/logan brown but didn't work #AND READ HEART. “-WELL IT'S NOT YELLOW” “PREMA RED THEN?”#as you can see I'm totally normal about their prema times plus i love how it stands out with everything else and can be read as #usual meaning of red hearts. also made out of corals so it fits them too #and last but not least - Logan my beloved #first and foremost STARS #I added as much as humanly possible party bc of American meme party bc i fucking love stars and associate him with them #also added all williams shades of blue and even white so it covers all that #okay no I lied a bit bc i used a button for their dark blue #another thing i would like to mention is metal ring bc it has extremely small hearts on it that you need to look for to notice #I HIT LIMIT FUCK.last thing to say is how I tried to play with circles in middle of every lane. okay goodbye

what i end up doing won't necessarily correspond to what wins the poll, i'm mostly just curious about what other people think.

#im personally torn between 1 and 2 #part of my problem is that i want these to feel iconic of their species #and often even simple recolors like pink or brown don't follow the 'rules' of a basic color of that species #for instance the pink xweetok has brown fur with just the mane and eyes being pink; just like the basic 4 colors do #but the orange xweetok has all of its fur change to shades of orange #so i'd kind of want to pick carefully which species i do non-basic colors for; and which colors #and at that point maybe it'd make more sense to just stick to basics; lol #i also don't know how many of these i'm going to do #so if im just doing a couple more then doing orange and purple could make a little rainbow...#but if i decided to be crasy and try to make one of every species...#there's 55 species so i'd have 13 of each basic color. and then 3 extras #hmmm #much to think about!!

Red is actually the least fun color to render.

NEVER go wrong with blue-#red???#wtf do you do with RED??#like yeah you gotta do cooler shadows and warmer highlights but.#ffs every time I pick a shadow my brain reads it as too purple/pink to be a shade of red #and whenever I pick a highlight it’s like. no this shit is orange???#and yeah it looks fine in the end but you REALLY have to trust the process-#idk!! is anyone else with me on this?!?!?!#AM I JUST BAD AT THE COLOR RED???#also I get headaches when I stare at the color red for too long so maybe that’s why lmao

I have a wedding Pinterest I've perfectly curated for years, and this morning on a whim (I think I had a dream last night) I decided to change the entire color palette LMAO if u need me I'll be on Pinterest all day

#the only reason im glad im not engaged is because im already stressed about (wedding) decisions i don't have to make yet lmao #i am a mega Virgo i gotta plan every breath #so the more ideas i have now the more prepared i feel for when it actually is time to make it happen if that makes sense #and don't get me wrong #the first wedding idea was really pretty #it's colors were dark green terracotta/rust orange and burgundy #but i now would prefer the colors to be dark green and light blue #since those are like #OUR colors #i think they'd look real pretty #plus #I'd feel a lot better wearing a puppy blue suit than an orange one #i saw a suit this morning in that shade and was like #“that one. i wanna wear something like THAT”#I thought about wearing a lace blouse and vest but i just cant find any that look how I'd want #if you ask cy tho he'd probably say he knew i was gonna change my mind LMAO #i love to do that #puppy rambles

it is very funny to be switching between my first rook and the new one because my first rook was like. a small, yappy dog. she was a compact little creachure built out of sinewy muscles, terrible jokes, and a bad attitude. warden thorne is like.......tall. big muscles. caked up. surprisingly charming. deep voice. scary lady with a sword and shield. hugely different vibe, i get whiplash when i switch between them too fast

#most important thing about warden thorne is that she actually looks good in the early armor sets you get in arlathan though #rook laidir? could NOT pull that shade of orange off. it looked HORRIBLE on her every time. i just kept her in the starting gear #warden thorne is like what if i was hot and could pull off orange and wore no makeup and killed you with my sword #and i love that for her #i still have not figured out blocking though. which i fear will be an issue since i want to spec fully into champion #but that's a Future Me problem. i'll figure it out eventually. i hope #rosie plays games kinda okay #that dragon sure does age
