I do think if the show is going to make substantial character changes - Annabeth telling Percy about Luke, Percy meeting Hermes early, Luke asking Percy to join him before attacking him - it shouldn't be afraid to actually be canon divergent from the books. Like an example I was talking to my brother about:
If Annabeth is going to see Luke betray Percy firsthand, she now has every reason not to be defensive about him for the whole series the way she was in the books, not to the degree that she was. Conversely, if she's going to react to Luke more like Thalia does, maybe Thalia could be the one who's defensive of Luke instead: maybe Luke could be there first when Thalia wakes up, and not Annabeth.
The show is not in Percy's POV so a scene at the end of season two where Thalia wakes up and talks to Luke without the presence or knowledge of anyone else is absolutely not out of the question, and it could make an interesting change to the dynamics going into the rest of the series.

Not to psychoanalyze (Yes, to do that), but given Armand's history, his only preconception of what love is, is to view it through pure desire. Love - and more broadly accurate, his life purpose for like half a millenia - as only he's ever known it, has only been experienced through transactional wish-fulfillment fantasies, of which he was the one typically sought after to complete such an exchange. And so naturally, in his own seeking, he replicates it. Though to some degree he also replicates the fantastical existence of fictional romances to compensate.
This lack of true experience of love without desire or fantasy, making his always unfilled 'objet petit a' - his object of desire - (a partner he desires a particular love from but does not receive to his fulfillment) - the catalyst for believing there is no other form of love to be had. That he can simply love the person, and be altruistic to their personhood, without them filling a role or desire for him, just would never occur. He's egotistical and overly pragmatic towards others by the fault of formative experiences denying him his own personhood. In being groomed into the object of desire, he no longer sees anyone else but as such. It's equal parts lack of self-awareness, meaning he simply has no way to counter-reflect upon himself the way one should behave, and developed coping mechanism, either consciously or unconsciously, taking on the role of those who inflicted upon him their desires to gain a sense of control over it.
In never escaping this cycle of love as desire, he always denies himself his full person, and simultaneously denies the personhood of others.

Screaming crying throwing up reading Tom's perspective on Alex.
Like how do you, a fourteen year old child, try to help out your best friend who has clearly been through something traumatic, but you don't know what. How do you deal with your friend disappearing for weeks on end and returning with bags under his eyes and scars all over his body. How do you deal with your friend leaving and coming back a little bit more changed each time, a little bit more scarred each time.
like
"When the two of them had finally met again, Tom had been surprised at how much his friend had changed. He had been hurt. Tom had seen some of the scars. But Alex also seemed to have got a lot older. There was something in his eyes that hadn't been there before, as if he had seen things he would never be able to forget." - Scorpia (page 86)

The soft way the cats exhale the beginning of Old Deuteronomy after Coricopat and Tantomile confirm his presence; reverent and gentle. Like they've been waiting forever to see him and have been holding their breath in anticipation. How they all scramble to greet him and touch him and rub against him, young and old, not just as a sign of respect, but because they *missed* him and they love him and they are over the moon he's come to see them. Like his presence creates a blanket of comfort and safety - how some of these cats grew up right under him and still see him with the same stars in their eyes.
Everyone waiting their turn to be with him throughout the evening and leaping at any opportunity to do so, and he envelopes them each the same. The amount of comfort and compassion he radiates, even if the actor initially turns away from Grizabella during the Act 1 Memory, being the only cat to balance out the otherwise empty stage as a counter point to Grizabella's loneliness.
It's just...it's so much.

It’s Done(The main drawing thing not the comic yet……I have to keep going back and force between the fic and comic to make sure it’s accurate. I already changed the comic abit with the beginning. I should be asleep as it’s 1 am for me but nope feel no inch of being tired. Atleast I have a longer weekend.)
Anyways TMAWY is a au by @pixiemage here on tumblr and this image is taken from a ending scene of chapter three. Also the character Billy who has no design yet is a figure In the background.
anyways here’s the passage this piece is from.
“Well how’d you get way over here, bud?” he asked. The creeper didn’t respond, of course, merely staring up at Jimmy with wide, dark eyes, its little feet fidgeting against the cooling sand as it contemplated him. Jimmy sighed and dropped to a crouch, scooping the little sprout into his arms and balancing it on his hip
“Uhhh…” Jimmy looked up to see Tango gaping at him, his posture tense and his expression confused. “...whyyyy isn’t it, ya know…explodificating?”
“Why–” Jimmy snorted. Oh. He grinned and stood, careful not to jostle the sprout too much. “I’m guessin’ you folks don’t work with domesticated creepers much on your server, ‘ey?”
“Domesticated?” Tango repeated, looking absolutely baffled. “Who in the world would try to domesticate a creeper?! They’re all - ya know–” He made an explosion sound with his mouth, mimicking it with his hands. “Boomy-boomy death traps.”
“Nah, not these guys,” Jimmy shook his head. He smiled adoringly at the mossy green critter now sitting contentedly in his arms. “Isn’t that right, lil’ buddy? You only get all sparky if you’re proper spooked, don’t ya?”
The little creeper hissed at him again then bopped its fuzzy head against his shoulder, nuzzling into him for warmth. Tango chuckled softly. When Jimmy looked up at him his tension had faded, an amazed sort of smile lighting up his face.
“Aww, he’s just a little softie, isn’t he?” he marveled, something soft in his voice. “You wouldn’t hurt a fly.”
“Sheriff!”
A distant and very familiar shout caught Jimmy’s attention and his ear feathers perked up. Of course. He should’ve known, really. When he turned to face the running footsteps he could hear approaching across the packed sand, he wasn’t even a little surprised to see Billy hurrying his way.

idk how to say this without sounding whiny but communication is literally how fanfic thrives. idc if you don’t know how to respond, literally just give a kudos, and if you’ve already left that on a chapter then give like. a heart emoji or send us a dm or ask or something, if you don’t know what to leave as a full comment.
fic lives off of feedback, so if you read a fic and wonder why its updates can be few and far between or maybe the writer moves fandoms or fics frequently without updating the multi chapter you love, it’s probably cuz there isn’t enough feedback! as an author yes we write from our heart, but we put our work out for other people to enjoy!!! if people don’t give any indication that they’re enjoying it then we won’t share it or feel as inclined to share the story we continue!!! it’s as simple as that!!
