#on the one hand i feel odd making fun of u.s. politics because it's not my mess and consequences to face#but also the u.s. has inserted itself into every global issue so......#feel like they made it my mess when they destabilized my country + staged a coup + continue to fuck up so many people in the global south#amongst many other things for nothing but their own greed#but i do hope things get better for usamericans esp those that are disproportionally affected#and if i was there i would be in despair and fighting for change and not making light of it w too many jokes (maybe. it is a little funny)#but i am not and it is not my circus so i will continue to make fun of the institution and what a mess it is - call it retribution
