Baby’s first zine participation!! It was an absolute honour to be invited on as guest artist and been given the chance to work with some of the community’s most talented creatives in the @namingofcatszine ! This was definitely one of if not the most ambitious pieces I’ve ever attempted over the course of a few months in 2023 but I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and create something I can truly be proud of. Thank you so much to all the mods, artists, writers for their incredible efforts and of course the unwavering support of the Cats community for making this happen 🫶 it has been an amazing experience from the beginning until the end 🥹

old deuteronomy has learned that human fathers are oftentimes "out for milk". unwilling to shirk this duty, he too sets out for the closest catvenience store to make sure none of his 467 children are left milkless.

Been writing my senior project about the evolution of Cats and it reminded me that I love this silly musical so much… but I’ve never drawn them b4. Changing this NEOW.

Still can't believe Ken Page has passed away. He will always be Old Deuteronomy to me, and I feel like I'm kind of numb but also sad at the same time. Rewatching the '98 film is going to feel very different now, especially during his song.

Thank you, Ken Page, for giving us and so many people so many moments of happiness, may you rest in peace.

Ken Page truly was the quintessential Old Deuteronomy. His portrayal of the character was so warm and loving, and his voice fit the role in the most beautiful way possible. He will always be one of the most iconic Cats actors and Broadway actors. He’s going to be so so missed, may he rest in peace.

Ken Page has unfortunately passed away at 70 years old. He was the voice of Oogie Boogie and Old Deuteronomy in Broadway's Cats. A kind and talented man, I admired Ken Page and the dedication he had, he always seemed to have a good time reprising his role as Oogie. He will be deeply missed.
