Current Status of Voltage Titles
I decided to make an overview of the JP status of the Voltage titles of the Love365 / 100Koi apps and their console titles. A lot of the apps titles are currently nearing their end and I'm curious what they still have up their sleeve. I know i'm delusional but with all the ending titles they might have capacity to work on some of their Hiatus stories again?
Ending
Kissed by the Baddest Bidder: MS ended
Metro PD: Tennoji, Kirisawa, Nomura & Himuro final baby stories left
Destind: Towards the End? Just Yuri & Takane left i think
Irresistible Mistakes:
>Shunichiros MS ended after S9 (he officially has more seasons than Eisuke)
>Keita, Toma, Jun, Maki might get final stories.
>New Aki & Minoru (uncertain what's going to happen to them)
New
Can We Start over? : S2 announced for December in JP
Doting Marriage (TBA in EN)
Friends with Benefits (TBA in EN)
Tumblr media
Ongoing
Her Love in the Force: All continue since JPs favorite. Maybe Shinonome, Soma or Namba update next?
Masquerade Kiss: Boss ended, the others continue
Oops I Said Yes: Ukyo concluding, with Eiji potentially afterwards as well, Kunihiros S5 is on the JP schedule in December
Romance MD: Sens and Hoshos S3 is releasing next in JP
PLUST: S2 not announced yet
Hiatus
Kings of Paradise: Hiatus; Tsubaki and Blood Moon have been cancelled, artist is currently working on a Kop Manga
Tokyo Love Hustle: Hiatus; only Suzumu and Taro have been released. The other 3 are nowhere in sight. Compared to KOP they haven't been removed of the title yet though and still show coming soon
Liar: Main Stories of S1 & S4 on JP & some S5. However, Liar was not popular on Koi100, so the effort of archiving it in the app might have come to a stop
Console
Voltage rebranded their console department to AmuLit.
Even if Tempest: DLC is being worked on
Red Bells Lament: Main Characters got revealed and will release early 2025
Neon Mafia: TBA
Kaleido Tower: TBA

D&D Armor in Elden Ring
A Fashion Showcase & Advice
Read Part One here
Introduction
Hello! It's me again... already. Yeah I should just make these videos instead of rambling on Tumblr about them. Would you guys watch these as videos? I'm not making much content on my YouTube channel anyway. I can decide that later. Anyways, if you read my post from last night, you would know that I use the twelve different D&D armor types to make my character designs in Elden Ring. Well, I want to go over some different designs I've put together for each of the armor types. I want to use this to show some inspiration to those of you who may not know where to start, and to help show some techniques you can use to make characters with even the lowest endurance wear what looks like plate armor without going overloaded! :D
Before we get into it, I want to introduce our model. This is Tempest:
Tumblr media
She's a copy of my original 100% playthrough that I used for my first DLC playthrough. As such, she has the most DLC armor of all of my characters, so she'll be our model for today! As one last little thing: if you haven't you should totally try other races rather than just standard humans for your tarnished! I've got a half wolf for example. I also have one who lives in death, multiple nightfolk, and Tempest here is a Draconian! It can be a fun way to tie your build to your character's design. Without further ado, let's get into it: starting with padded and ending at plate. We, of course, don't need to do unarmored because I'm sure you know how to do clothing. The image descriptions will have the pieces in each armor set, as well as their Elden Ring weight class (unarmored, robes, ultra light, very light, light, light medium, medium, heavy, very heavy, ultra heavy, and oversized)
Padded
Gambeson and Particularly Thick Cloth
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Leather
Armor Made Of... Leather...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Studded Leather
Leather Armor With Those Tiny LEGO Bricks
Tumblr media
Due to there only being one studded leather set, this is the only example I made.
Hide
Armor Made of Thick Animal Furs and Pelts
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chain Shirt
Shirt Made of Interlocking Rings
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Alright, so if you read my last post you're likely looking at the right set a little weirdly. I've been deliberately using chestpieces from the lists of armor in each type until now, so why did I use a suit of armor from full chainmail (briar) for the chain shirt. Well, if it wasn't already obvious, it's because it still LOOKS like a chain shirt when used in this context. The lists are great for full sets, but it gets a lot more nuanced when you start making your own sets. As you'll see throughout a few more types of armor, I'll be trying to use chest armor that's not in the same category I'm building for. Thinking outside of the box a little really helps, as the armor on the right fits for a Raya Lucarian Battlemage with the coloring and the mask, while also being heavier than the armor on the left.
Scale Mail
Armor of Metal "Fish Scales"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Breastplate
A Fitted Metal Chestplate, Without Much Extra Protection
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As with the chain shirt, this set's right outfit is using a chestpiece from outside the breastplate category. As with the chain shirt as well, this is to show that you can use sets from other categories to make armor of a desired type. For example, here we used the bloodhound knight chestpiece, which is half plate, but basically any suit of half plate or even full plate can be combined with some light greaves and gloves to make a breastplate with higher defenses! :D
Half Plate
The "Greatest Hits" of the Superior Plate Armor. High Torso Protection with Moderate Limb Protection.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Just like with the breastplate, I used a heavier chestpiece to make the armor on the right. This time, it's a full plate set of armor to make half plate. Just change out the legs for something with only about half of the legs protected, and you can make the gauntlets lighter too without compromising the type of armor.
Ring Mail
Armor made of large rings on a leather backing
Tumblr media
You need to get very creative to make ring mail, and use armor that can be mistaken for ring mail. There's no ring mail in the game, so I used the shadow militiaman chestpiece for this, as even I'd mistaken it for ring mail originally when writing my first post on this topic.
Chain Mail
A Suit of Interlocking Metal Rings
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So you'll notice that neither of these sets use one of the three chain armor sets in their chestpieces. For the left armor set, it's because the surcoats are individual pieces of armor, which I didn't sort in my last post. For the right, I used the common soldier cloth armor as a tabard, in a similar way the surcoats are used. With the way the armor is laid out, it's implied that chainmail is under the cloth.
Splint
Metal Strips Riveted Onto a Leather Backing
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'll be honest, the Gaius one was a challenge on my part. Gaius's chestpiece kinda sucks to work with lol
Plate
Full-Body Coverings Made with Shaped, Interlocking Metal Plates
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Those two armor sets above use chestpieces (and just primarily armor) from the plate armor category. I want to show below two examples where I use robes to make the illusion of plate armor
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both of these use armor in the first two sections to make armor that gives the illusion of plate armor while being significantly lighter. Sure, you lose out on the poise and defense that a plate cuirass offers, but you still get more defense than if you built an unarmored setup using these. This same technique can be used for basically any armor type, but it tends to have the most effect with plate and chainmail. As a quick tip from me before I wrap this up as well, use Blaidd's or the Young Lion's gauntlets to make plated armor even when the sleeves roll up on the robes you're using, as they have enough reach to hide the majority of your skin. This works even better when playing as a draconian, nightfolk, etc. due to their dark skin tones. I betcha didn't even notice the back part of Tempest's forearm sticking out of the armor on the left.
Conclusion
Welp, I hope that read wasn't nearly as long for you as the last one. If you want to see the first post, click here to see it! I hope to make one last part to show the fashion of all of my characters, which totals to roughly 16. I want to show their armor and explain what type of armor I think they're wearing and why. Just like this post, it'll also contain the armor pieces used for each one in the image descriptions! If you made it here, thank you so much for reading. This time, I WON'T be getting sleep because it's only 1525 and I have the rest of the day ahead of me, but I'll probably relax and play Elden Ring while I wait to see what the feedback is here! Goodbye :D

A little bit of a late celebration, but Emberfate: Tempest of Elements has received over 50 positive reviews on Steam, getting a Very Positive rating overall! Have some cute chibis to celebrate the occasion, done by elRion!
Thank you so much to everyone who left a review on the game! 💖If you haven't yet, please please consider doing so — the more reviews we have, the more likely people will find and give the game a try!
--
This will likely be my last update post here about Emberfate for a while until I'm ready to work on Potato's route DLC later this year after my main project, Reanimation Scheme, is finished. I'll still be answering any Tumblr asks about Emberfate or the characters though, so feel free to keep sending those in!
As a closing note, if you enjoyed Emberfate, please consider:
Supporting our Patreon! We offer early sneak peeks, monthly short stories of Emberfate characters, and even cute chibi cgs (like the one above!) or doodles + accompanying drabbles of the Emberfate LIs! Your support will help me fund future Emberfate content and more projects! Oh, and helping me pay for studio expenses and my IRL bills so I can focus more on making games instead of taking commissions / doing part-time jobs — that'd be really cool too 🥹
Joining our Discord server! We have a small but friendly community that sometimes shares fanart / fanfictions or headcanons about the Emberfate characters, as well as just chat about otomes and games in general! PS: You also get access to a free walkthrough for all the Emberfate endings & achievements if you join our Discord!
Donating to our KoFi! We're currently 32% to the goal to fund Potato's route — and there's a limited reward where if you donate $200, you get to design one look / outfit for Potato's in-game Bishop character and have it appear in game in the upcoming DLC!
Thank you so much to every single player who gave Emberfate a shot. I'm really happy I got to share my experimental little creation with you all. May we all one day find a guild as lovely as Serendipity! 😂
Until next time, guild leaders!

Mass Effect Tag Game
Tagged by @judithmactir ! Sorry for breaking the rules and including the Forbidden Game in there as well XD
I am a fan since: Got the Forbidden Game (MEA) in late 2019, and then MELE in I wanna say early 2022
Favourite game of the series?: MEA, oops. ME2 otherwise! I am all about those gangs of misfits
MShep or FShep?: FShep
Earthborn, Colonist or Spacer?: I've fiddled around with all backgrounds, mixing and matching the canon elements (for example, Kay Shepard is an Earthborn but did not join a gang, while Maeve Shepard is a Colonist who did join a gang for a while after losing her family to Batarians)
Biotics or Tech: Biotics, especially in MEA. The combat there is so fun, and I don't even like shooters!
Paragon or Renegade: Paragon, Paragade at best. I am a softie
Favourite Class: Sentinel
Favourite Companion: I would say I enjoy everyone to a certain extent, though a lot of my blorbo brain power goes to Garrus, Javik, Ashley, Tali, Thane, Samara, Vetra, Drack, and Jaal
Least favourite Companion: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My squad selection: Ashley + Garrus, Garrus + Thane, Ashley + Garrus again (ft. Javik), Jaal + Drack
Favourite In-game romance: I've enjoyed all romances I've tried, though I only fully finished the trilogy as a Garrusmancer. Same wrt MEA and Jaal
Other pairings I like: Shavik obviously, also TIMShep, a proper Shepard x Samara romance, also various NPC/NPC crackships (Steve x Thane anyone? Steve x Vega? Idk I just want Steve to be loved while I play f!Shep)
Favourite NPC: Eve, Kesh (I love Krogan women ;_; ), our non-companion crewmates on both the Normandy and the Tempest, David Archer (my son who did nothing wrong), the Quarian Admirals
Favourite Antagonist: TIM, Saren (I am looking Disrespectfully). Also idk if she counts as an antagonist but I have a soft spot for Sloane Kelly (it might be the voice)
Favourite Mission: Theros, Suicide Mission (with guides!)
Favourite Loyalty Mission: Kasumi, Jack
Favourite DLC: Lair of the Shadow Broker, Leviathan
Control, Synthesis or Destroy: My own convoluted HC where Shepard chooses Control but their body is not destroyed straight away so they are unplugged from the Matrix eventually, and the Reapers are bricked, while the Geth and EDI are saved
Favourite Weapon: Uhhh flamethrower?
Favourite Place: Ilos, Tuchanka, pretty much all the planets in MEA. I like it when the landscapes are unique with minimum brown sand XD
A quote I like: "It's so much easier to see the world in black and white. Grey... I don't know what to do with grey"

BG3: The Power of Player Narrative
In my most recent multiplayer run of Baldur's Gate 3, the game on everyone's minds, I found myself playing the role of a companion.
I don't mean simply piloting one of those already given to you at the start of the game, no, what I managed to land myself into, was roleplaying a fully fleshed out 'custom companion', Hestia. A blue-haired, somewhat crass, Tempest Cleric of Mysta's domain.
Tumblr media
-- She does seem a bit mean, doesn't she? --
Now, while many of us can say that we're used to making up stories for our intrepid adventurers, and designing whole narratives for them, I was surprised by the ability of BG3 to allow me to do so.
It was amazingly easy to craft an inspiring quest of a cleric now wanting revenge on a variety of former suitors from her time as a noble. Easy to invent up bits of dialogue for her (based on the tremendous amount of soft storytelling already present). Other companions 'interacted' with her based on their own traits, such as hers and Gale's mutual love for Mystra and the Weave.
It was even easy to make her her own companion tent!
Tumblr media
-- What a bookworm! --
A bit too easy. As after hours of me interjecting with 'Hestia disapproves!' at various choice selections, the host finally decided to listen to me for once. To our extreme regret.
At around 20 hours, we had found Rugan, the Zhentarim you can 'accidentally' choose to get into trouble. Seeing as it was our own faults, Hestia wished to help him. She cut his binds herself. Unfortunately, she decided to do this in front of his enemies.
Our party might have ended in all of our deaths, that save, but it was unforgettable.
BG3 has done what few RPGs have been able to accomplish: allow players the ability to write their own stories.
I didn't feel like a player, I felt like a true working component of the game. Often times, when talking about player experience, you'll hear the words 'it felt real'. Hestia was real. The freedom and ability of me to choose details as small as the colour of her armour (gold and blue, as befitting a cleric), to selecting the little bits and bobs she'd put around her camp; all of it felt like a true release of control. A gift from the developers to myself, and every other player.
Tumblr media
It's so damn hard to create a game these days. Everything is predetermined, hard-baked into lines upon lines of code. Yet, developers are expected to create a system that allows players to move around freely. A contradictory task.
What Larian has done, is expand upon the traditional 'box' forumula that you must place players in. They've taken the power of narrative, and put it completely into the hands of the player to design the flow of the story for. You can choose where to go, you can choose who lives and dies, you choose the state of your world.
Perhaps, that's why I'll remember BG3 till my end days.
It wasn't a pre-written story that brought me to tears because of its Oscar-winning quality, but one that we gripped the reins of hard and steered ourselves towards outcomes that only we have ourselves to blame for. It's engaged me like no other game has, except perhaps since the early days of modding Skyrim to curate our perfect and unique experiences based on over 200 mods.
So, what now?
Now, we can only hope that other companies expand upon this. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, from the long Dragon Age RPG lineage, is slated to be released in the next few years. It, amongst many other games, will need to hold themselves up to this higher standard. One that, unlike other RPG titles released in the last three years, did not rely on DLCs or large patches in order to appeal to players.
The power of player narrative, its potential, and the manner of which game developers can go about utilising it, has now been put into full view. Now, more than ever, companies must reconsider the amount of priority they want to put onto marketing their games, verus actually making them. With the current player numbers and profits made from BG3, perhaps, they will finally be convinced.

I'm still mad that they didn't do a three hopes version of the shackled wolves for the ashen wolves paralogue even though they did a three hopes version of corridors of the tempest, a completely random DLC track that doesn't play anywhere unless you select it for aux battles, for one single random chapter in which it didn't even feel like it fit 😭

Note
"impossible to play if you invested wrong" there is genuinely no investment involved in wave 4, everyone has preset stats and weapons. you, like most people on a first playthrough*, are just not experienced enough for maddening. obviously the hardest difficulty will be very hard. breaking news sugar is sweet.
However, you do bring up some good points: Yeah its really weird that they don't allow you to change Nil and Nel's inventories and they really should have had new game plus so you can get the characters in future playthroughs. Not the emblems tho, you should work to get those.
Also you do realise you are kinda comparing apples and oranges when you say CS has better story than the Fell Xenologue, right? one is from a serious game that focuses on the story and the other is from a game that focuses on the fun aspects of the series like interesting strategies and funny characters.
*the dlc is different enough to the main game so i consider it to be its own thing
The game is trying to be serious, so I will be serious in judging it. If it wants to be a “funny haha game” then it shouldn’t try to be cheap drama with a series of decisions that make no sense with some thought in a DLC.
The emotional beats do not hit because it has seven chapters and Nel and Nil are boring and they copouted on cheap drama by making everyone corpses (ie. “Nel is actually not killing people because they’re dead”. The dead world makes no sense and so do the personality flips for like Ivy and her father.
Maddening is unwinnable if you invested in early game units like I did (and Maddening main game and paralogues is easy as hell) and used up your bond shards so you can’t cheese it with high ring levels. No warp staff abuse. The 30 wolves at start and constantly spawning reinforcements that will one round Nel and Nil, no inventory adjustments pre-battle, Nil being complete garbage and dead weight with increasing amounts of forced deploys with no use.
I cleared Map 1 Maddening DLC too. It was poorly balanced even with cheese like Veronica.
Maddening is badly balanced because they wanted to force you to use pre-set units but also your main sets (ie. Skills) so there is no synergy unless you build a certain way.
The reason that Cindered Shadows is the better DLC to me is because it is actually a set cast so it feels somewhat playtested instead of handing you a random assortment of poorly balanced units.
Considering you did this on anon, your opinion is worthless. Engage with DLC is badly balanced and the decisions are awful (no ng+ with consideration of tempest trials and having to complete a mediocre dlc each new playthrough, no universal logbook, no transfer (and games like Awakening and Fates did have carryover too), etc.
The DLC compared to Maddening main game feels badly executed in both gameplay and what story beats are there (and this is for a game with horrendous pacing already).
And why not judge it like this? Is it not normal to compare the last entry with the newest one? Or do I have to pretend that this is an entirely different series?
Overall, as someone who does hardest difficulty every game, DLC feels rushed in terms of balancing compared to the care that was given to the main game (without DLC emblems)

A new DLC for Even if Tempest was announced by Voltage Inc, under their new console brand, AmuLit!
It is set to release this year, in 2024, for the Nintendo Switch.
"Three types of DLC are set for release. They can be bought as a bulk pack or bought individually by character:
Roses for My Love – A new story depicting moments following the main endings of Even if Tempest exploring innocent romance at the beginning of their relationship.
Bouquet for My Girl – A sweet story from the perspectives of Lucien, Crius, Tyril, and Zen, covering events between the first game, Even if Tempest and the game’s FD: Dawning Connections.
Memories of Twilight – A two-part story focusing on the characters’ inner worlds, with new and re-edited scenes."
More details will be released soon.

Time to shit IS again
dlc wave 3 still no NG+ and no gallery that's not tied to save file. Engage dev managed to make emblem balance but couldn't do something as simple as gallery like in 3H, fates, and awakening.
NG+ should be our reward after beat the game. IS really think tempest trial or relay trial fun when those modes are so boring even in feh. Main chapter maps are more fun and i want to break it with crazy build.
IS said: enjoy your croissant bow and oh more sp books (i will take it but still annoying)
Edit: minor but important. at least we can inherit skill in arena. Goodbye ring chamber you will not be missed

Revisiting Andromeda, and every time I finish playing one twin, I inevitably want to immediately replay with the other. Though at the moment, I have two simultaneous playthroughs - one a replay for Sara (of the rp variety, since I'm trying to pin down her exact galaxy state), and the other Scott...
Which is leading me to want to actually write Scott, because one thing I genuinely appreciate about how they handled the twins is that they each have their own unique personality quirks, and even some unique dialogues depending on which twin you're playing as.
Honestly, I kinda want to throw the twins into a full canon divergent AU and just ignore the whole coma thing, but have like... some variety for reasons why the other twin isn't necessarily on the Tempest anyway? Or if the coma thing is kept at all, have them wake up a lot sooner and them recovering a lot faster so they're not trapped in the Hyperion medbay for months on end while the other is out saving the cluster?
Really, I kinda want to throw a spanner into the works and let the non-Pathfinder twin be exiled from the Nexus, maybe even joining the Collective or becoming another rival faction on Kadara, or end up in the Initiative Embassy on Aya as part of the diplomatic team there, or they're one of the researchers that gets assigned to Havarl, or they just end up in one of the outposts in general. Depends on the mood and intentions towards a plot, etc....
Not to mention interest in general, otherwise I'll probably just end up writing it as fic... Especially when faced with the whole potential of what the hell they were intending on doing regarding the quarian ark since the project for the DLC got cancelled thanks to the less than stellar reception of MEA (though the Day One issues due to rushed development certainly didn't help on that front - MEA is definitely a game that requires mods for bug fixes and various improvements).
