This is Rinne Byakuya, my favorite character (so far) from a fucked-up visual novel called Euphoria. Trust me, you must have a strong constitution to make it through this game, as it throws you straight into the pits of hell. Rinne believes that she’s deserving of suffering as punishment for existing. I have the strongest desire to tuck her hair behind her ear and tell her that she’s not dirty, that she’s wonderful. I also love her smile.

btw, I play as a non-binary Rook, so I made sure to unlock the extra dialogue options (defining Rook's relationship with their own gender, i.e. I like what I see, not quite but I'm getting there, etc.) via Varric's hand mirror.

When first expressing interest in Emmrich, I had the option to ask him if he was okay with the whole... not being a man or woman thing; it felt very sweet and relatably awkward/shy, cuz my Rook's clearly smitten already and cares about what he thinks. 👉👈

Emmrich just says it's not at all a problem, in fact there's something quite attractive about someone who's truly found themselves and knows who they are. (paraphrased, I don't remember the exact words)

I just thought I'd share that tidbit, because I don't see many discuss the nb-dialogue options. I just felt so validated by my crush ☺️

Did come in handy during Taash's storyline, too, as I was basically and older queer mentor to them, with my own lived experiences.

Honestly, I just love that the game gives you the option of either ignoring it like it's the most normalized thing, or to have it part of your narrative if you so choose.

we got a level 4 stalker.

sooo despite Jack Louis telling Luna they are basically just friends with benefits she refuses to accept that. She's been coming over EVERY night just to make sure he's not seeing anyone else. (he's not btw... at least not yet)

Despite finding nothing on his computer she decided to use Spring's relationship with Max to get closer to her. I mean they will be family soon (Max is gonna propose during their grad trip- which Luna is not invited to.)

Spring isn't so dumb. She's playing along just because she needs content for her romance fantasy novel she's been working on.
