The metal frame squeaked beneath her, jostled by Dae Gu’s constant tossing in his bunk. She blinked up at the ceiling, tracing the shadows with her eyes while she listened to his sheets rustle, and the restless sighs that escaped him every now and again. It’d been somewhat surprising when he’d offered up the extra space in his room for her – Ji Gook and Tae Il had stared at him like he’d sprouted an extra arm – but she’d been happy to oblige, if it’d meant she had a place to stay while her leaky roof at home was being fixed. Plus, the idea of being so near him had been a nice perk.

At this rate, though, it seemed neither of them would be getting much sleep tonight.

Another minute or two, and she decided it was time for an intervention. Wriggling around in her bed until her legs were scrunched against the wall, she hung down over the edge, her hair reaching for the floor and her hands clinging to the ladder.

Dae Gu was turned away from her, his body curled in on itself and his blankets askew.

“Partner? Are you okay?”

Not sure if you remember this drama since you posted about it years ago but I'm going through your You're All Surrounded tag and loving it as well as the show some parts are really funny but I'm confused about the romance when did the female lead have a thing for Ji Young? Like she said the kiss didn't mean anything to her and he's not her type is that true or was she lying? I do love them I just wish we got more of them

Oh hey! Yeah I do remember it! I loved that show, I’ve actually been wanting to watch it again but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I think she had a thing for him when they were kids probably...and I don’t think she was necessarily lying about that stuff, maybe she just didn’t realize her own feelings? After watching Hwayugi, I wanted to watch "You’re al surrounded", the first kdrama in which Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won worked together and it’s strange watching them here since they’re playing very different roles.

I will forever be amazed at how dumb Eun Dae Gu is in Ep 9 of You’re All Surrounded...

Eo Su Seon has realised he’s Kim Ji Yong from how he ties shoelaces and she’s confronting him about it and he’s only capable of denying it... he doesn’t even defend himself or say something like “idk who you’re talking about. Who is Kim Ji Yong?” Like his acting skills in front of Seo Pan Seok suddenly dissipate in front of Su Seon and all he can say is “I’m not!” when his entire face is saying “I ABSOLUTELY AM AND YOU HAVE CAUGHT ME”

So what does he, Eun Dae Gu, with his single brain cell that is used exclusively for detective work and finding out what happened to his mother, decide is the only way to stop her from asking him any further???

He threatens to KISS HER. Boi could threaten to beat her up (boi drinks his respect women juice most of the time, so this is off the table but she doesn’t know that!)... or leave her behind to find her own way back to the station... or just straight up IGNORE HER... but no. The only thing his already overworked singular brain cell can come up with is KISSING HER to shut her up XD

Homeboi was so shook by their first kiss that this is the only thing he can think of... homeboi legit can’t respond to Su Seon in any other way XD he just wants any excuse to kiss her again!

Cuatro jóvenes novatos se integran a la División de Delitos Violentos, pero cada uno de ellos movido por distintos motivos. The Whump: Stabbing followed by hospital scenes.

episode 11 [2:00-9:00]: After duking it out with his mother’s killer, Dae Gu is stabbed, saved by his CO, and watched over by his fellow rookies while the ambulance comes. He passes out.

episode 11 [13:30-18:00]: Finally waking up after surgery, Dae Gu angrily confronts his CO, who he thinks is implicated in the attack.

episode 11 [27:00-28:30, 38:00-40:00]: When Dae Gu tries to leave the hospital prematurely, his fellow rookies convince him to stay. They watch over him and care for him. When he returns to work, he gets a good luck charm bracelet to keep him from further harm.
