After watching Hwayugi, I wanted to watch "You’re al surrounded", the first kdrama in which Lee Seung Gi and Cha Seung Won worked together and it’s strange watching them here since they’re playing very different roles.

I will forever be amazed at how dumb Eun Dae Gu is in Ep 9 of You’re All Surrounded...

Eo Su Seon has realised he’s Kim Ji Yong from how he ties shoelaces and she’s confronting him about it and he’s only capable of denying it... he doesn’t even defend himself or say something like “idk who you’re talking about. Who is Kim Ji Yong?” Like his acting skills in front of Seo Pan Seok suddenly dissipate in front of Su Seon and all he can say is “I’m not!” when his entire face is saying “I ABSOLUTELY AM AND YOU HAVE CAUGHT ME”

So what does he, Eun Dae Gu, with his single brain cell that is used exclusively for detective work and finding out what happened to his mother, decide is the only way to stop her from asking him any further???

He threatens to KISS HER. Boi could threaten to beat her up (boi drinks his respect women juice most of the time, so this is off the table but she doesn’t know that!)... or leave her behind to find her own way back to the station... or just straight up IGNORE HER... but no. The only thing his already overworked singular brain cell can come up with is KISSING HER to shut her up XD

Homeboi was so shook by their first kiss that this is the only thing he can think of... homeboi legit can’t respond to Su Seon in any other way XD he just wants any excuse to kiss her again!

Not sure if you remember this drama since you posted about it years ago but I'm going through your You're All Surrounded tag and loving it as well as the show some parts are really funny but I'm confused about the romance when did the female lead have a thing for Ji Young? Like she said the kiss didn't mean anything to her and he's not her type is that true or was she lying? I do love them I just wish we got more of them

Oh hey! Yeah I do remember it! I loved that show, I’ve actually been wanting to watch it again but I couldn’t find it anywhere. I think she had a thing for him when they were kids probably...and I don’t think she was necessarily lying about that stuff, maybe she just didn’t realize her own feelings? Or her feelings changed later. Yeah they were super cute, it would have been nice to see more of their relationship. Thanks for talking to me about this :)
