Who are you???

Pedro, Darla, and Eugene canonically don’t have hero names. Because of this, I have a head canon that they actually don’t have hero names and Billy, Mary, and Freddy just refer to them as “you.” As a result, no one in the JL knows their names and also refers to them as “you.”

GL: “Hey you.” *is trying to talk to Eugene*

Darla: “Yes?”

GL: “Uh… Not you. You.”

Pedro: “Yeah?”

GL: “No, no, no, not you. You.” *points to Eugene*

Eugene: “Oh? What is it?”

GL: “What is your name? Also, what is her name? And his?” *points around the three*

Darla: “I’m D-”

Pedro: *slaps a hand over her mouth*

Eugene: “We don’t have hero names if that’s what you’re asking.”

GL: “Then what’re any of us supposed to call you??”

Eugene: “Whatever, I guess.” *shrugs*

Notice how all the yous are different? Thats because Marvel says “you” different for each of them. Don’t ask me how they’re different, they just are and the kiddos can tell. People just ended up taking to calling them by their colors.

WW: “Purple one. Could you please tell me where the Captain is?”

Darla: “I think he’s over there somewhere.” *points away*

WW: “Thank you.” *pats her head*

Pedro: *sitting, chilling*

Supes: *notices him* “Uh… green one? You look bored. Wanna help me lift some stuff and move it to the supply room*

Pedro: *nods his head, soft of confused as to while he wanted him to help, but was happy to help anyways*

Supes: “Great! Well, you can take the lighter stuff-”

Pedro: *picks up all of the heavy items in one swoop with no difficulty*

Martian Manhunter: “Grey one. You have technopathy, correct?”

Eugene: “Yup.” *nods head*

MM: “I need your help sabotaging the Flash’s phone. We are currently in a “prank war” with one another.”

Eugene: “Happy to help!”

Billy: Look, the old guy just told me to save the world and gave me a bunch of voices in my head and then completely disintegrated in front of me. I didn’t exactly have time to talk religion.

Headcanon that all the Vazquez kids are notorious for using Freddy’s crutch to hit bullies.

Billy, Eugene, Mary, and Freddy himself have all definitely done it (more than once)

But you know you’ve really fucked up when Darla or Pedro are coming at you with that freaking crutch

Drugs don't have any effect on Billy and his family while they're powered up and any drugs they consume while powered up have no effect on their mortal bodies

Hence why, around Fawcett, you can very often see the members of the Shazamily munching on some cocaine or heroin (-Darla, she's still not allowed)

Nobody knows where they keep getting the drugs and they prefer it to stay that way (they steal it from goons they beat up that have it)

Billy Batson adopts Danny. He becomes his guardian in an attempt by Danny to avoid the throne and eventually meets him in the form of Captain Marvel. He adopts it by accident. He may or may not also get custody of Danni.

Bonus: he also adopts Connor and finds himself with three children his age to take care of or barely younger. He still succeeds. He also has Raven.

Hey y'all!

I'm back with another oneshot! This one was written for @pantheonofcoffee as a part of @dcufans4palestine

Summary: Billy wasn't entirely sure how he'd managed it, but somehow he’d convinced just about everyone— his teachers, classmates, employers, and even the entire Justice League—that he was a single father of six rather than a semi-homeless preteen.

Oddly enough that might end up being a good thing

So, you probably know the lichtenberg scars headcanon/au. The one where Billy has a lichtenberg figure over his body as a physical reminder that he is Captain Marvel. But have you ever considered the possibilities of:

✨ Soul Scars ✨

The idea that underneath the physical and mental scarring there is a third layer of soul scarring. These can be small little things, like when you were a dumb child and did something you were not supposed to, thus leading to a mischevious spirit giving you a little nick on the arm. To something a bit more severe like getting hit point blank with a curse or magic spell.

Soul scars are not visible to the naked eye, but people with an affinity to magic can get a nagging feeling that something happened to someone who has large soul scars. It is only a very select view who can actually see them projected on the body.

Well, here comes a bunch of kids, couldn't be much older then 14 or so, with a worrysome amount of soul scars for basically anyone to have, zigzagging all across the body in a lichtenberg figure.

Literally everyone that has ever come into meaningful contact with the living lighting, even just for a moment, has a similair pattern. Each one slightly different, based on the users preferences (for example: a champion favoring speed, like Darla, would have a more complicated scar pattern consentrated around the feet and legs, someone who favors flight would have a more complicated scar pattern consentrated around the back, ect).

Just imagine a man walking around in Fawcett/Philadelphia who just so happens to be born with the ability to see soul scars, and then suddenly seeing a young boy with dimly gold glowing lichtenberg scars all over the body.

Poor man would have to wonder for life what the hack could have befallen a boy of such an age.

Billy combs Darla's hair.

He had done it for the last two years. She would have liked it that way...

He also combs Mary's hair as she taught him...

It's not strange. Now it's part of his daily routine. Two years ago everything was fine, his siblings, his membership in the League, his activities in the magical community. But one day, like any other, Billy and his siblings fought against a lord of chaos.

It didn't end well. His two sisters had drained their magic to seal that lord out of their plane of reality and in return had fallen into a deep sleep, Nordic magic called something similar to the Odin sleep. But it wasn't quite like that... They had already investigated it.

Billy was almost of age now and had many more responsibilities than he would have wished, but he carried them all with the heart of Billy Batson. The mantle of the champion of magic, the care of his siblings, homeschooling, his responsibilities with the League, and much more...

Precisely...

Superman had given him the floor, what were they talking about? Oh yes, right, the trafficking of metahumans and the repatriation of victims in groups... Billy couldn't remember if he should contribute about escorting the first group alongside the Lanterns or supporting the extraction of a meta in a dangerous point in the galaxy.

"Excuse me, can you repeat that last part?"

"We were asking if you would be part of the delegation representing Earth at the summit of planets..."

Oh, wow, it wasn't any of the ones I had thought of, maybe my mind needed some air after all.

"I can't leave Earth, Superman, I'm really sorry."

The meeting continued, time flew by as the Captain distractedly looked at the papers on the table.

The meeting was taking a long time...

The girls were alone...

"Brother... how have you been?" the warm voice of Wonder Woman made Billy react.

The meeting had ended, and he was the only one left at the table.

"Hello Diana, you know me, handling work and family... like an average adult."

"An average adult can't lift more than fifteen tons or fly at supersonic speeds... but they can take care of family. If I may ask, how have Miss Marvel and Lightning been?"

Billy breathed calmly and saw that they were alone, some privacy...

"They still sleep in the Rock, I try to keep them as comfortable as possible."

"Your other siblings have taken up the protection of Fawcett, right?"

"King and Strong have been helping me a lot..."

"And your other brother...?"

"Thunder and Strong are still looking for a cure in the ancient manuscripts and portals."

"I'm also searching on my side, brother. Zeus won't abandon them..."

"Thanks, Diana... I appreciate it a lot."

Billy and the Captain agreed with Diana, Zeus hadn't abandoned them, but Billy wasn't planning to take his help... The favor of Zeus cost more than what he would receive. Solomon had been clear, Teth Adam too, and even the ghost of the Wizard Shazam had warned him about the major Olympian.

But that was another thing he had to add to his list of burdens as an adult: Not giving in to the temptation that Zeus whispered in his ear every day.

He just had to trust that Eugene, Pedro, Freddy, Wonder Woman, his friends in the magical community, and his heart wouldn't give up.

even though the bad parent captain marvel thing is resolved, i'd still love some more scenarios from the JL's pov of marvel's 'bad' parenting. ONLY if you WANT to do it, if you dont then just ignore this request lol

like him telling freddy or mary to 'fuck off' or swear at them in general and threaten to steal their stuff or blackmail them (like normal siblings do -coming from a middle child with two siblings)

or maybe they hear freddy and mary ranting about marvel and they JL misinterprets their sibling rivalry as abuse

Marvel is a terrible parent. The JL knows it. It just flabbergasts them every time they see or hear about it because Marvel is literally the nicest person ever so why does he hate his kids?

Junior and Mary: *walking down a hallway in the Watchtower while complaining about Marvel*

Mary: “Says you. He was chasing me around with a darn stick trying to beat me yesterday.”

Junior: “You don’t have the right to complain. At least you could run.”

Mary: “I guess but Pedro was carrying you so you could get away too. So I think I have to right to complain.”

Flash: *had the unfortunate displeasure of hearing that*

Now why was a grown man running around after his kids and trying to beat them with a stick? Also what did Cap do to make it so that Junior couldn’t run away?? Flash knew he was magic, so he was hoping he just used some magic to bind his legs or something. Speaking of Junior…

Junior: *annoying Marvel*

Marvel: *looking more increasingly annoyed* “Junior. Please take five steps back from me before I decide to slap the shit out of you.”

Supes: *immediately looks over to them*

Junior: “No you won’t. You’re chicken-”

Marvel: *literally raises his hand to do it*

Supes: *looks extremely concerned*

Junior: *immediately shuts up*

Marvel: “Yeah that’s what I thought.”

Junior: “Bastard.”

Marvel: “You’re a bastard too. Anyways, want lunch?”

Junior: “Yeah, tacos.”

Clark got a little whiplash from the quick change of topic. Though, that entire interaction really does enforce that he does not care for these kids. It’s so unfortunately obvious. Another example of him not caring was when Marvel and the silver one were sent to go examine a cave on a deserted planet.

Marvel and Eugene: *staring at the ominous cave*

Marvel: *walks behind Eugene* “Well… go on.” *pushes him forward to the cave*

Eugene: “What do you mean go on?! I’m not gonna sacrifice myself for you!”

Marvel: “But we’re family.”

Eugene: “So? I’m not fighting a dang Xenomorph if one pops out.”

Marvel: “Don’t worry. We’ll fight it together.” *continued to push him, but is thankfully walking with him*

Batman saw this entire interaction when he was reviewing to body cams he forced the two to wear. Who just pushes their son into danger like that? He needed to have a talk with Marvel about his parenting.

Pedro: “Hey, which of us is your favorite?”

Marvel: *almost immediately* “Mary and Darla.”

Pedro: “Mary and Darla- why them?? Darla was eating crayons just the other day, and Mary is Mary.”

Marvel: “Okay and…? They’re still my favorites?”

GL: “Wait, who’s Darla?”

Marvel: “The purple one.”

At least he likes the purple one, Darla? They haven’t seen a negative interaction between her and Cap yet. Emphasis on yet.

I love it when the actors and hopefully more Korean actresses speak in their language to everyone… mostly the people in Hollywood.

I really love it when Lee Byung Hun speaks both Korean and English. I hope he gets to speak English more. When I heard about him being bullied, I was like what do you guys mean??? He speaks English well, he just has an accent and needs to articulate his next thoughts in another language 😭😭 what the actual hell?
