I was VERY upset about Pixelberry cancelling the It Lives Series but after reading ILW I realized it was a blessing in disguise. I don’t think anyone would have done the entire story justice the way your team did. It’s literally the best (non)Choices game there is and one of the best IF games I’ve played. Kudos to you guys, really!

If you only dropped a link or somewhere where we could possibly pay you for the incredible game I’m sure there would be a lot of us who would be more than willing to give!

Hi! I recently revisited the game i had left on chapter 4 and i binged it uptil chapter 11 (i think) (the one where mayor green gets murdered) but no matter how many times i try, it doesn't take me to the next chapter, it just takes me to the home page

Hey there, looks like you hadn’t updated the game since chapter eleven. You just need to go to our game page and redownload it, and it’ll download all the future chapters. The updates are manual, not automatic.

Hi! i tried to download the mac version for my macbook but when i try to open it it says that it cannot open it because apple cant see if there is any malware on it and suggests to move the app in the trash. is there any way to fix this?

Just force it to open. I believe if you right click and open and tell it to open anyway you can get past it, or you can run as administrator.

Hello I just play the game and for some reason Danni doesn't exist in the intro(when you choose a fate of the characters), is this a bug or intentional. And can you fix it? If not it's okay I'm just wondering

This is intentional. Due to how they handled game mechanics, only one person can die in It Lives Beneath. This means that if you tell the game that Imogen or Tom died before you get to Danni, then it will skip asking about her as the game will assume she is alive.

is the team working on some future projects related to choices?

We are not going to be do anymore Choices-related projects. I think most of us have mostly moved on from Choices, to be honest. But if we ever end up working on and/or completing any original projects, we'll be sure to let our followers know ❤️

I wanted to play your fan game when it was actively releasing, but I just wasn't feeling anything Choices related then and dropped off from the fandom for a while. But, now I've decided to come back and download the game and I can't thank you guys enough for creating this story! I'm only six chapters in, but I already love everything. The attention to detail and choices that actually matter in the end is such a breath of fresh air from PB. But the thing I love the most is being able to play as a plus size female character who is the main character and not the comic relief side character. So many people don't get how important that representation is for us big girls 😅

What was your favorite ending, dev team?

This is very hard for me to say. I really like all of them for different reasons. But if we're going full poetic, I think I like the mixed/shadow endings! The shadow ending is really sad but beautiful and I appreciate it a lot. I love in the mixed ending the message that you don't have to "pick a side" or change; you're fine just the way you are. And I like the blood ending to, because I get to be happy with my LI but the other ones are more moving to me, personally. I don't know that I can choose between them.

They do! I don't remember all of them, I just remember Lincoln's is October 3 because it's Mean Girls/FMA day. But you can find their birthdays if you open our blog and click on the LI reveal links. The LI reveals have their birthdays listed.

Aside from the moss creature, did you guys consider including any of the adoptable animals from ILITW in the story? It was a lot of fun seeing the first MC’s dynamic with the crow, cat, and especially Hilda!

Not really, because getting those animals was choice-dependent and we already had so many variables to juggle that adding the animals to the mix would be difficult. We kept the moss creature because we wanted to give mc a strange little creature pet and thought it would be fun to bring back one of the pets from the early games.

Happy late one year anniversary, I want you guys to know that this project have given so much joy <333 It really live in my heart.

Recently I've been replaying the books and have actually dragged my sister who have no interest in anything Choices related. And she fell HARD for ILW, she binged the whole book in 1 week, I've never seen her so moved, she legit cried at parts<333
