Com muita expectativa para a sequência de Eu Sou a Lenda, muito se questiona sobre de onde partiria a história, levando em consideração o final oficial do filme de 2007. Mas o roteirista Akiva Goldsman, responsável pela sequência, revelou que irá utilizar mais da história de Matheson e aproveitar o final alternativo do filme para o início da história.

“O filme terá início algumas décadas depois do primeiro filme. Nós fomos até o livro de Matheson e usamos o final alternativo do primeiro filme. O que Matheson estava tentando dizer em sua obra é que o tempo dos homens no planeta como a espécie dominante estava chegando ao fim. Isso é algo muito interessante e que vamos explorar na sequência, que será um pouco mais fiel ao livro”, disse Avika em entrevista ao Deadline.

O final oficial de Eu Sou a Lenda acaba com Robert Neville se sacrificando para salvar Anna Montez e Ethan, interpretados por Alice Braga e Charlie Tahan. Já com o final alternativo nos descobrimos que as criaturas do filmes estão atrás de Robert por que o mesmo sequestrou uma mulher dos infectatos, com o intuito de criar uma cura. Então o personagem de Neville libera a mulher, que possuía a resposta para uma cura em seu corpo, e vai embora da cidade em busca de uma colônia de sobreviventes.

Ao retomar a história deste ponto, conseguimos entender o porquê de Will Smith retornar para a sequência, mas também deixa em aberto o que veremos no filme, tendo em vista que não há muitos detalhes sobre o que ocorreu após os eventos de Eu Sou a Lenda e sobre qual será o papel de Michael B. Jordan.

Já em entrevista ao Entertainment Weekly, Akive explicou que se inspirou em The Last of Us para a produção.

“A história se passa algumas décadas depois do primeiro. Sou obcecado com The Last of Us, onde vemos o mundo logo depois do apocalipse, mas também no intervalo de 20 ou 30 anos no futuro. Você percebe como a natureza tomou de volta seu lugar no mundo. Há algo belo na questão do que aconteceria com o mundo se a humanidade não estivesse mais no topo.”

A produção de Eu Sou a Lenda 2 terá início em março de 2023 e ainda não há data oficial de estreia.

The Beginning - Chapter 3

It had been two weeks since Ethan walked out.  Scully missed him, but she knew it was time.  It was nice to not have to answer to anyone, to concentrate only on herself.   She was going to take advantage of this time to decide what it was she wanted out of life.  When she left Daniel it was the hardest thing she had ever done.  This breakup was not the same. It had been on the verge of happening for a while now.  Scully felt smothered as she eventually always did in her relationships. Being emotionally close was not something Dana was comfortable with. Ethan was another victim in the wake of the great Dana Scully.  She knew that to leave headquarters would be a mistake.  Now she would focus on her career, on herself, and enjoy the alone time.  Especially the joy in having to answer to no one, having to explain herself to no one, and having the whole wonderful apartment all to herself.

Then she got to work.  As with every day, she started in Blevin’s office.  On the surface the powers that be made it seem all too innocent.  Their justification for their actions was simple.  Exorbitant expenditures, flimsy reasons for expense and case requests, all under the guise of concern for appropriations of federal funding.  If any resistance was given they would follow up with accusatory statements concerning Mulder’s obsession with looking for his sister.  Instead of a spy, she felt more like his defender.  At the time, she wasn’t sure why she had such an intense urge to protect him.  Did Mulder portray a certain bad boy image?  A rebel with a cause.  He was fearless of consequences, focused, and determined.  She couldn’t bear to think of being responsible to put out such a fire.  Were his pursuits truly unfounded?

Mulder lifted his head and dried his eyes.  This was getting him nowhere.  He prayed one last time to the God that never spoke back.  A quiet bystander overseeing all.  He had prayed for the signs that would lead to his sister.  Was she out there alone and afraid?  Had she been abused?  Experimented on, part of some untold testing and torture?  He wanted to believe he could still find her and save her.  Pain emanating his heart and infuriating his mind.  “Please God help me.  Give me the strength and the wisdom to find my sister” He got up. Mulder didn’t have much faith in religions and with each passing day he was losing faith in the God that would allow such sinister plots to torture innocent children. Was free will really the culprit in all this? With the sign of the cross he left the church, picked up his cell phone and pressed the redial button.

Scully listened to Mulder’s Hypnotic Regression Therapy session cassette from the case file. Convincing herself she was doing it out of necessity to gain deeper knowledge into her partner and not from sheer nosiness sated her conscience. It squeezed at her heart hearing his voice so fragile and vulnerable speaking about her crying out his name and him being unable to help her.  He wanted so badly to believe he could find her. Even though she did not believe beings from another planet came to claim his sister, she felt empathy and knew she was abducted by someone just the same.  What a terribly traumatic experience for him to have to go through at such a young age.  She pictured him as a boy, watching helplessly as his sister was taken and it caused her to shudder and shed a tear as raw emotion enveloped her.  The cellphone rang startling her.  “Scully”

“Hey Scully, it’s me, Mulder.”

“Hey Mulder” She inserted the contents and quickly closed the file even though logically he had no way of seeing her.  She felt like somehow she was violating his privacy, his innermost demons, even though it was part of public record.

“It’s around dinner time and I really don’t feel like eating alone tonight.  Care to join me?”

She could hear the continued sorrow in his voice and she didn’t have the heart to turn him down.  She knew how badly this case had affected him and now she was able to begin to understand why.  The wounded expression when he relented, knowing how much he wanted to help that family.  How he saw himself in that boy.

“Sure Mulder, wherever you’d like.”

There they sat in another dimly lit restaurant at a corner table.  If someone didn’t know any better they would probably assume they were on a date.

“Mulder, I want to apologize to you.  Twice today I laid my hands on you and I shouldn’t have done that, it was inappropriate of me.”

Mulder frowned. He wanted to play innocent and ask what she meant, but her touch spoke to him.  It was soothing and warm.  Electrified and magnetic.  “No Scully, I should thank you.  Both times, when I was pulling those rocks off of that makeshift grave and when I was going after the boy in the hospital I was out of control.  You brought me back.  I need you to do that for me, that’s what friends do.”

He looked at her and his eyes sparkled, they reached out to her heart and she felt them hug her.  She closed her eyes to absorb it all and opened them with a warm smile that made Mulder stare down at his pasta to break away from the intimacy.

She asked him to share some stories of the good times he remembered with his sister.  As he expounded, an intense pained look came across his face.  It was the same look he had while he was opening up to her in the car.  She knew without him saying it that he had never spoke like this to anyone before.  She recalled his lips twitching and eyes trembling as he told her about closing his eyes as he walked into his bedroom in anticipation that he would open them and his sister would be there lying in the bed.  Her heart pained for him as she imagined him waking every day waiting for her return.  His love for her pure and innocent.  As he continued to speak she realized it wasn’t just about his sister, but having his family together again.  This tragic event eventually led to his parents splitting up and with it his childhood.  Scully wanted to reach out to him, comfort him in some way, but she had to remind herself that they were very much strangers.

[The Jersey Devil]

Scully wasn’t sure what to believe anymore with the uniqueness of the cases and Mulder.  She was beginning to think that was the point.  The fact that something could occur without explanation frightened her to the core.  In her world she needed structure and proof. None of which meant anything to an x-file case.  This week it was the Jersey Devil. Folklore becoming truth. Instead of enjoying the afternoon with her new found regular, dependable boyfriend, Scully found herself walking the halls of the Smithsonian with Mulder speaking to an ethnobiologist.  As they returned to the car, Mulder walked around to open the door for her. “Didn’t want to be a Neanderthal” he chimed, closed it and walked to his side of the car. As he got in he asked, “Do you like Chinese food?”

“I’ve been known to eat it from time to time.” She was hesitant not knowing where he was headed.

“I was thinking we could get some take-out and head over to my place.  I want to show you where I keep the rest of my files and there are some details I’d like you to know in case anything ever happens.”

With any other human being, one might interpret his invitation as one with sexual connotations.  Scully had learned that emotionally Mulder was still a twelve year old boy and had not progressed much since his sister’s abduction.  It was both frustrating and enduring simultaneously.  “Sounds like a plan.”

Scully followed Mulder into his apartment where he gave her the grand tour.  It hinted of old wood and leather.  His kitchen was small, but efficient and it was obvious he waited for the dishes to stockpile to a certain level before he deemed it necessary to clean them.  With the exception of living like a bum for the weekend in Atlantic City, Mulder’s grooming habits did not match his housekeeping.  Lucky for her since he liked to speak to her an inch from her face.  The more intense the conversation, the closer he would get.  His breath was either minty or had the fragrance of sunflower seeds.  The clean soapy smell of his skin was augmented by his cologne. Pleasant but not overpowering and complimented by his Mulderesque aroma.  He kept himself well groomed, although his five o’clock shadow was nothing to balk at.  As she continued to look around she noticed his desk which was cluttered with mail and files.  “You want dishes or should we eat from the containers?” He asked from the kitchen.

“I’m not above eating from a container.” Scully replied. Besides, she wasn’t completely confident in Mulder’s dish cleaning abilities.

Mulder returned with two forks and two glasses of iced tea.  Handing a fork to Scully he stated, “I didn’t peg you for a chopstick kinda woman.”

As they ate he turned on a football game and went into detail concerning how he was able to secure his connections in congress and how they in turn protected the x-files and provided legitimacy for them to stay open.  “Senator Matheson is my biggest proponent.  He has helped tremendously.”  As he spoke his intense gaze remained on Scully.  His passion on the subject was unquestionable.

Scully looked around and realized something was missing.  “Mulder, do you have a bathroom?”

“Yeah…it’s uh…right through my…uh, file room”

Scully got up and opened the door.  Pornographic magazines fell open at her feet.  She chuckled. “Good filing system Mulder.”

“There not mine I swear.  If they are it’s for investigative purposes only.”  She turned squinting her eyes at him, raised one eyebrow, then stepped over the pile and squeezed her way into the bathroom.  Scully was getting use to walking in on him at work with a magazine or something interesting on television.  Certainly HR would have a field day with him, but she didn’t mind.  He was always making some kind of excuse or trying to hide it, but she thought it was the most normal thing he did besides his fondness for sports.  If he would stop being so shy about it at some point down the road she may even consider watching one with him.  The thought made her teeth dig into her bottom lip. After all, she had needs too.  When she finished in the bathroom she decided to be nosy and have a look around.  What should have been the bedroom was covered from floor to ceiling with papers and newspaper clippings, files, filing cabinets, and magazines.  When she walked back out to the couch she noticed a pillow and blanket stuffed neatly in the corner.  “Mulder, can I ask you something personal?”

“No, of course not Scully.” He said with a grimace and slurped up his lomein.

“How do you…um…entertain without a bedroom?”

“Oh” He laughed. Then a real sullen expression came over his face and she was almost sorry she asked the question. “I usually don’t.  Woman don’t particularly gravitate towards you when you’re spooky.  Besides, I told you, finding my sister, this” He held up several x-files cases, “Is all that matters to me. My dedication doesn’t afford me the time for anything else.”

This was clearly a subject he didn’t want to discuss.  You could see his invisible wall erecting and he curled up around his Chinese container making his body appear to shrink. Of course, Scully pushed forward anyway, “You’re a good-looking guy Mulder.  I’m sure there are plenty of women out there who would be interested in you.”

He reached over and picked up the last dumpling.  “You’re not going to eat this are you?”  Scully shook her head and he popped it into his mouth.  “So Scully,” he asked chewing a mouthful of dumpling, “What was wrong with Mr. Right?  How come he didn’t pass muster for a second date?”

Scully picked up her fork and played with her food as she stared at it. “I don’t know.  I just got out of a relationship and the idea of starting another one with a ready-made family….I don’t know.  I told myself I would give myself time to focus on my career and that’s what I’m going to do.” She looked up at Mulder with her big blue eyes and smiled playfully. “Anyway, if I’m going to keep up with my partner I don’t have time for that kind of tomfoolery.” And with that she reached over and snagged one of his shrimp with a devious smile.

“No tomfoolery huh?”  He lifted an eyebrow laughing at the expression and stole a forkful of Kung Pao chicken from her container.  

“Hey!” she shrilled.

“I almost forgot.” Mulder got up still crunching a peanut and handed her a key.  “This is to my apartment.  In case I need to go on another extended leave.  I’ll need you to feed my fish.”

She took it graciously.  It made her happy that he trusted her enough with the keys to his place.  Little did she know his place was like Grand Central Station to anyone with an inkling and a hair pin.

“Hey Scully, do you believe in an afterlife?”

“I’d settle for a life in this one.”

“Have you ever seen the Liberty Bell?”

“Yes.”

“You know, I’ve been to Philadelphia 100 times and I’ve never seen it.”

“You’re not missing much. It’s a big bell, with a big crack, and you have to wait in a long line.”

“I’d really like to go.”

“Why now?”

“I don’t know.  How late do you think they stay open?”

Closed at 5 P.M. read the sign to Independence National Historic Park.   “Well, I guess you’ll have to wait to see it some other time Mulder.”

“Maybe” The tires screeched as the car propelled forward into the park around the protruding arm of the entrance gate.  Securing a spot he set the car in park turning it off and removed his seatbelt.

Scully’s face held a soured expression, “Really Mulder?  Why is it that we can never go a day without breaking some law?”

Mulder smirked as he opened the door, “I’m just putting some life into your life.”

“Mulder, the park is closed and now we’re trespassing.  I’m sure there’s cameras and security everywhere.”

Motioning her towards him he ducked down besides the bushes.  He noted the security at the entrance and stood up puffing his chest out displaying his badge with a serious expression, his mouth in a line with eyebrows to match. He knocked at the glass door purposefully deepening his voice.  “Sir, FBI, we were informed there were some possible suspects in a crime that visited the area today and we would like to take a look around.  Make certain there was no sabotage or evidence of explosives left behind.”

The guard looked instantly shocked and worried.  Obviously he wasn’t use to any kind of excitement on the premises, especially at that hour.  Scully took out her badge and half-heartedly displayed it.

Mulder strolled down the hall with Scully in toe. Throughout the expansive, light-filled center, stood larger-than-life historic documents and graphic images depicting the facts and the myths surrounding the bell.  Inside the quiet alcoves, the two read on and watched some short films on replay as well as gawked at x-rays of the inner-workings and the bell’s crack.  Mulder’s hand slid into Scully’s and tugged her towards the grand hall. There stood the liberty bell in all its majesty.  The glass wall providing Independence Hall showcased in lights as the backdrop underneath the night’s sky.  Scully felt Mulder squeeze her hand and didn’t release it as he stared in awe.  She wondered what was traveling through his genius, but chose to stay in cozy silence. His index finger caressed her own lighting up her chest. When he let her hand go it twitched in protest.  He threw his arm around her squeezing her shoulder and whispered in her ear, “Is this really such a bad life?”

She looked up at him and her mouth fell open, a warming sensation filling her heart. This was his response to her earlier statement. Wow, it was an incredibly romantic gesture even if it was meant only in friendship.  Which led her to pull away. The unbridled intimacy between them sending her off kilter. “Mulder, when I said I wanted a life, I wasn’t referring to one in a prison. We may be overstaying our welcome.”

As they left Mulder nodded to security which seemed indifferent to the whole situation and headed out for some dinner.

Scully looked across from her rebel with a cause partner as they bit into their cheese steaks.  "You never told me, what it was like to witness spectral phenomenon first hand.”

“It was everything I could have hoped for and more.  A little frightening.” Their eyes locked and they shared a smile.

“I’ll never get you to believe will I” Mulder looked almost sad.

“Oh, I wouldn’t say never Mulder, I only require you to substantiate your theories.”

“I think that ghost could have shook hands with you, danced around the room, and gave you his key to the pearly gates and you still would say it was only a figment of our imaginations.”

“Does that bother you Mulder?”

He sat silently for a moment in deep concentration. Carefully he spoke. “It can be slightly frustrating at times, but you add the validity to my work that I need.  You force me to justify my theories and conclusions with proof.  I can never argue with that. Plus, you respect my process and me.”

“I may not always agree with you Mulder, but I’ll always support you.”

As they drove off into the night headed back to D.C., Mulder set the dial to sports, his thoughts on spiritual unrest and its impact on society.  Looking over he found that his partner had drifted off to dreamland.  The comfortable, calmness in her face highlighted her youthful appearance.  She looked happy.  He hoped that he was partially responsible for that.  Knowing what was in store for them when they arrived in D.C., she would need her moment of peace to last as long as possible.

Sarah “kills” Helena. Aensley’s body is found. Sarah goes to meet Rachel. Cosima tells Sarah about the patent. Donnie returns to reporting to Leekey. Sarah finds that Kira and Mrs S are gone. Thursday, 10 December 2012 Sarah calls Paul and escapes Rosen. Alison gets a gun from Ramone. Alison gets Aensley’s part. 3 days will be dress rehearsal, day after is performance. The cops find Alison. Paul begins working for Rachel.  Sarah is arrested but released. Ramone delivers the gun. Alison is assaulted by Dyad goons who immediately let her go. Sarah infiltrates the Dyad party disguised as Cosima. Sarah assaults Rachel but is stopped by Paul. Sarah turns to Art. Helena arrives at a hospital where she is picked up by Mark. Kira is photographed by the Bird Watchers.

Friday, 11 December 2012 Felix gets the new phones. Alison attends Aensley’s funeral. Sarah and Art investigate the motel Kira was at. Cosima meets with Dr. Leekey. Sarah is taken to the Bird Watchers base. Alison practices the musical. Felix and Alison discuss catching Donnie. DeAngelo investigates Helena as she is taken by Mark. (Jamie was the father of one of the Bird Watchers who died because of Mrs. S Guns for Fund’s movement). Rachel meets Cosima at her lab and gives her the genomes of Sarah and Katja. Mrs. S eliminates the two Bird Watchers who have turned to the Proletheans.

Saturday, 12 December 2012 Alison sets a trap for Donnie. (Yesterday?) Aensley’s tombstone lists her year of death as 2014. Felix leaves with Sarah. Mark kills Tomas. Mr. Rosen finds the Bird Watchers dead. The Proletheans dispose of their bodies. Sarah and Felix steal from the convenience store. Angela talks to Art. Donnie apologizes for the spying. Collin and Felix go on a second date before being interrupted by Paul, who uses Felix’s hand to contaminate Daniel’s gun. Gracie gets her stitches off. Cosima finds out about Rachel’s obstruction. Helena escapes from Art and reclaims her motorcycle. Sarah and Helena find Mr. Duncan’s photo in Maggie Chen’s locker. Helena prepares to assassinate Rachel. Rachel and Paul have sex(?) Helena is stopped by Rachel. Cosima receives treatment. Sarah and Leekey meet. Paul discovers their meeting. They are given 3 days to find Mr. Duncan. Sarah and Helena camp. 

Thursday, 17 December 2012 Cosima continues treatment. Scott comes in to work with Dyad. Vic comes into rehab with Alison. Art checks in on Felix. Sarah and Helena arrive at Cold River. Helena meets Jessie Towing. Sarah investigates the archives. Donnie visits Alison in rehab. Sarah calls Cosima and tells her Mr Duncan was there. Helena gets arrested by Roy the cop. Gracie visits Helena in the police station. Vic rendezvous with Angie. Sarah finds S with Peckham. S speaks with Paul. Alison and Vic talk about Ainsley’s death. Alison talks to Porsche Grossman who is several months pregnant at Least. She tells them about Dr. Bosch and the Brightborn treatments. Helena buries her babies and leaves. Sarah and Dizzy break into MKs home. MK sets a trap for Ferdinand. S disarms the bomb. Susan tells Rachel that she knows about the messages. Cosima and Felix see Evie Cho’s Brightborn video.

~ Day 5 Crystal is training in self defense and has discovered a connection between the Castor clones, Dyad, and Hector. Sarah and Kira paint a mural. Cosima goes to the Brightborn orientation. Evie shares about her SCID. Felix implies that S is an Irish Traveller. Evie and Susan meet. Evie tells Susan that Crystal is at Brightborn but thinks it’s Sarah. Duko tells Art he knows about the Hendrixes dealing drugs. Helena left a day or two ago. Donnie gives Crystal a massage. Susan tells Evie that Cosima has infiltrated Brightborn. Crystal is grabbed by Brightborn. Cosima witnesses the birth with defects. Susan pleads for Kendall.

S has only cried a handful of times. Susan and Rachel discuss the dissolution of Project Leda. Sarah and Dizzy hook up. Dizzy recess he was friends with Ed Capra. Duko arrests Donnie. Cosima almost takes a maggotbot in the face. Felix tells Cosima Delphine is alive. Felix stops Sarah from jumping.

~ Day 8 (Saturday) Sarah returns home. MK talks to Kira. Rachel sees the swan. Donnie encounters a Neolutionist in prison. Sarah is having a "two day hangover”. Mika talks to Sarah. Vanleer tells Sarah about Rachel’s plans. Rachel meets with the board of Neolution. Rachel stabs Susan. Cosima and Charlotte attempt to escape. Rachel attacks Sarah and stabs her leg. Susan threatens to kill Rachel. Charlotte and Cosima are rescued by The Messenger. Delphine and Cosima reunite. Delphine and Cosima keep the cure secret. Rachel patches up Susan who tells her Westmoreland is alive. Ferdinand threatens S and Kira. Sarah informs Felix of Ferdinand. Sarah starts a fire using a photo of Kira. Sarah dresses her wounds with a tampon. Sarah is attacked by Yannis.

~ Day 12 (Not yet June?) Sarah carves a spear from a stick. Mud shows Cosima Revival. Moreland is 170 as of last June. Art gets introduced to Maddy, his new partner. Helena hunts while the Hendrix s are in hiding. Revival hunts for Sarah. Delphine treats Aisha, who tells her they are there for the fountain. Felix leaves Ira in Hellwizard and Scott’s custody. Maddy blackmails Art. Alison is kidnapped by the Neolutionists. Delphine is being sent to Sardinia. The hunters leave Sarah when they see signs of Yanis. Rachel takes over at Revival. Helena attacks the Neutionist and gets an arrow in the belly. Sarah meets with Cosima and warns her about Yanis. Rachel and The Messenger encounter Cosima trying to give herself the cure. Sarah is shot with a tranquilizer.

~ Day 13 Sarah awakes in captivity. Ferdinand greets her. Sarah has slept for “a while”. Rachel offers Sarah a truce. Sarah takes Kira to school. Aisha tells Cosina about her tumor. Felix meets with MK. Mud takes Cosina to Moreland. Cosima sees the photo of Westmoreland. Rachel and Ferdinand do yoga. Helena hides from the doctors. Sarah impersonated Rachel and leaves with Kira. Helena attacks the doctor with the needle. Ferdinand follows Sarah to Felix’s. MK pretends to be Sarah. Ferdinand kills MK. Rachel fires Ferdinand. Delphine meets with S.

~ Day 14 Alison and Donnie meet cop. They mourn MK. S takes Kira to Dyad. Alison sees Aensley’s family at The family fun fair. The Hendrixes get searched. Alison confronts Ramone. Maddy plants evidence in the Hendrixes garage and tries to break open their garage floor. Donnie drinks Alisons drugged Apple Juice. Donnie passes out in the middle of his performance. Alison meets Rachel. Rachel commands Maddy to dispose of the bodies and fix the garage. Alison decides to leave for a little. Helena is safe with the nuns.

A week before Day 18 Leonard sells BlueZone to a subsidiary of Dyad.

Day 15 Westmoreland speaks to Susan. Aisha and Charlotte find Daisy the pig bleeding. Charlotte finds a tooth. Mud takes them.back to the village. Sarah discovers Kira’s cut herself. 3 days until Kira’s next Dyad appointment. Ira visits Susan. S and Sarah take Dr. Perkins identity. Charlotte tells Cosima about the bear. Madame La Roux. Mr. Mitchell. S and Sarah visit Helena. Adele arrives knowing about Clone Club, having been told by S. S and Sarah impersonate Dr. Perkins to get Coady from Dr. Nemmit. Coady tells S and Sarah about Yanis. Cosima sees Mud with Yanis.

(Roughly week 32 of Helena’s pregnancy) ~July 2013 Day 16 Felix’s art opening is in 3 weeks. S and Sarah reconvene with Adele and Felix. Ray was attacked. Felix and Adele go to Switzerland.

Day 17 S leaves to investigate. Mud tells Cosima that she let Yanis escape after his experiments made him become violent. Rachel gets the cure from Westmoreland. Delphine returns from collecting stool samples. Cosima tells Delphine about Aisha’s tumor that is being studied. Lin28A. Delphine tells Cosima about Kira receiving testing at Dyad. Cosima tells Moreland she knows about Lin28-A. Cooper sends Mud and Salvador to the wood shed. Cosimas parents are Sally and Gene, who are both professors. Delphine goes to Geneva to meet with Felix and Adele. Yanis kills Salvador. Susan tells Cosima about the plans to harvest Kira’s eggs for the surrogates. Mud tells Cosima his name is Yannis. Westmoreland murders Yannis. Cosima is locked in the basement. Delphine and S meet. Ira begins glitching.

Day 18 Krystal and Brie. Have 15000 subscribers. Dyad arrives to pick up Kira. Mud tells Cosima that she’s from Seattle. S got the Coady info from someone else. Krystal and Sarah communicate. Leonard Sip, CEO of BlueZone cosmetics. Westmoreland brings Coady to the island. Scott collects blood samples from Bri who is flirting with him. Salvador’s widow speaks out against Revival. Coady tells Ira she is close to a cure. Krystal sets up her spy can for Leonard. Scott identifies that Bries symptoms are in line with an allergic reaction. Brie admits she’s a kleptomaniac. Susan realizes Westmoreland is doing Parabiosis. Krystal attacks Leonard. He reveals the experimental face cream is a drug delivery system that works on the cellular level and made the rabbits it was treated on lose their hair. Anna tells Mud that Aisha has died. Ira breaks out Cosima. Rachel takes Kira to Dyad. Cosima exposes Westmoreland to Revival. Revival goes up in flames. Ira succumbs to his glitching. Susan is killed using the poison she tried to administer to Westmoreland. Cosima escapes the island.

Day 19 Mr. Albie Teeb had his daughter saved from a genetic heart defect. Rachel announces biopsies of Kiras liver, lung, and stomach. Cosima arrives on the mainland. Cosima sends her boat adrift. Cosima tells Sarah about the plan to collect Kiras eggs. Kira has at least another day before her hormone treatments make her ready for egg harvest. Felix and Adele have sent them into on the Neo money trail. Cosima tells Rachel about Westmoreland. Alison is in California and will arrive tomorrow. Cosima tells her that Coady is on the island and Susan is dead.

Day 20 Rachel visits Susan’s grace. Coady’s background is in genetics. ((Rachel previously signed a document of emancipation.)) Coady tells Rachel she killed Susan. Hashem Al-Khatib is in control of Kuwaiti consulting firm, where Dyad subsidiaries send their money. Alison arrives home with her haircut and purple dye. Alison talks about the Yungian she met. Alison shows Donnie her “Live Deep” tattoo. Rachel announces Kira can be harvested within 24 hours. Mark is brought to Coady. Mark plots with Coady to find Helena. Gracie arrives at Helena’s monastery. Rachel finds the pad that has been receiving feed from her eye. Rachel allows Kira to call her mom. Alison clears out her craft room. Westmoreland overhears Sarah pleading for Kira. Rachel returns Kira to Sarah. Rachel exposes Westmoreland to the board. Rachel rips out her eye. Rachel is treated.

Although Gracie’s appearance makes it appear that Day 21 occurs immediately after Day 20, it seems more likely that Day 21 takes place a full 2 weeks after Day 20.

Day 21 Rachel wakes up found by Ferdinand. Charlotte and Kira go to stay with Maya and her mom. Delphine, Felix, and Adele arrive back. Felix’s art opening is today. Gracie claims Mark died 2 weeks ago. Gracie found Helena after she told her about Sister Urina. Alison and Donnie help Felix set up. Delphine and S meet with Ferdinand. Hashem Al-Khatib has been bribing governments to obtain genetic info for Neos. Collin arrives at Felix’s art show. Gracie lies about Helena’s location. Felix shows off the clones at his art show. Not really? A/N: Disclaimer! I am not a furry! While writing this, I was so stressed out that I sounded like a complete furry. I’m not. I just felt like it was a cute idea. I have also risen from the dead. I wrote this because a) I wanted to write for another fandom I really love and b) wanted to write something of my own if that makes sense? Sorry that I have been kinda radio silent, but things have been quite hard recently. I’m currently in the middle of writing a few more, so keep an eye on my profile and the usual tags! “Hey pretty lady, you got any plans tonight?” 

“Yes, Stiles” you chuckled, slamming your locker door shut to come face to face with Stiles who was stood behind the open door, “Funnily enough I’m heading to your house for dinner tonight” 

“Ohhhh yeah” he smiled slyly, leaning down to kiss you quickly, “Any thoughts on what you want?” 

“What do you want?” Scott asked, making you jump as he appeared behind you. 

“Jesus Christ, McCall!”

“You should have heard me coming” 

“There are a lot of heartbeats pounding right now, Scott. What makes you think I would hear yours too?”

“You’re twins” Stiles butted in, “Shouldn’t you two have a stronger connection or something? Like Ethan and Aiden?” 

“Not always true” you replied, looking at said twins who were over on the other side of the hallway before your eyes locked on the clock on the wall above them, “Oh shit, I have to get to training”

“Wait, you didn’t tell me what you want to get for dinner tonight” 

“Chinese” you blurted, worried about missing training and being shouted at by the coach, “I’ll see you later?” 

“Yeah, meet me by Roscoe” he smiled, kissing you as you rushed off. 

“Dude…did you have to?” Scott asked, sounding disgusted as he walked past Stiles to head towards the locker room. 

“She’s my girlfriend” 

“She’s my sister!” Scott fired back, pushing the door open and flinging his gym bag onto the nearest bench, “What are your plans tonight with Y/N anyway?” 

“Dinner and Star Wars which I still can’t believe you haven’t watched, by the way” 

“Creatures in space, big deal” Scott shrugged, “Because we don’t deal with enough weird shit in real life” 

“McCall! Stilinski!” Coach Finstock called out from his office, “You’ll be training the freshmans” 

“What?! Why?!” Stiles cried back, gaining the attention from the rest of the locker room.

“Just do it” Coach shook his head, mumbling ‘Idiots’ under his breath as he walked back into his office.

Scott pulled the whining Stiles out onto the field, grinning at his best friend’s constant grumbling about how unfortunate he was and how nothing ever worked out for him. 

“Seriously, Scott. I can’t catch a break. First, you’re bitten and turned into a wolf, then my girlfriend is bitten, Lydia turns out to be a banshee, we’ve had multiple supernatural things trying to kill us and now I’m stuck training goddamn freshmans!”

“It's only for a couple of hours, Stiles” Scott huffed, lugging the bag of lacrosse balls over his shoulder as he headed towards the pitch.

“Freshmans, Scott! Freshmans!”

“There she is!” Stiles announced, grinning as he watched you hopped down the steps of the school. 

“Hey, you” you smiled, kissing him quickly before handing him your gym bag to put in the backseat. 

“How was training? That bitch Kathleen bother you again?” 

“When doesn’t she?” You scoffed, jumping into the front seat as you waited for Stiles to get in next to you, “How was lacrosse?” 

“Don’t get me started. I swear Coach has it in for me this year. He put me and Scott in with the freshmans today. Freshmans, Y/N! Freshmans!” 

“Oh my god” you cried out, laughing slightly, “Poor baby” 

“Tell me about it” he sighed, pulling out of the school campus, “Today has just been shit. Ms Matheson gave me a D in English and that asshat Joel decided that flicking gum into my hair was more fun than Physics. Not only that but-“ 

“Scott’s calling me” you interrupted, answering the call from your brother, “What?”

“Are you two ok?” 

“Yeah, fine. Why? Everything ok with you?” 

“Ummm…just get home as soon as possible. Pack meeting” 

“Scott!” You called as he hung up the phone, groaning before looking at Stiles sympathetically, “We have to go to mine” 

“But I want Chinese!” 

“Stiles, I’m just as annoyed as you are but you know that when Scott calls a meeting, everyone has to be there”

Stiles looked over at you and frowned, but after seeing the look in your eyes he sighed and turned the steering wheel in a U-Turn to head towards your house. 

When you arrived, you jumped out Roscoe and ran up the stairs, Stiles close behind you. 

“Scott?” 

“In the kitchen!” you heard Scott call out, taking off your shoes and flinging them in any random direction.

“Why did you call off my night with Stiles? And where the hell is everyone?!” You asked angrily, noticing Scott standing alone in the kitchen.

“Look, I’m sorry but I really think that something is wrong” he stated, his eyes flicking sympathetically between you and Stiles. 

“No one else was available? The one night I had with Stiles in weeks?!”

“Y/N…” Stiles warned, not wanting an argument to break out.

“Why couldn’t you ask Lydia?” 

“Date night with Aiden” 

“Fine. Issac?” 

“With Lydia and Aiden” 

“Allison?” 

“With everyone else!” 

You sighed, groaning internally, “It was my date night with Stiles tonight, you idiot”

“I’m sorry, but I know I can count on you two. My best friend and my sister…you’re the only ones I can truly count on to be by my side when I have a feeling that something is wrong” 

Stiles placed his hand on your waist and squeezed lightly, taking a step closer towards you until his chest was against your back, “What do you want us to do?”

“I’m telling you, it was right there!” Scott insisted, pointing at the floor on the top of the mountain overlooking the town. 

“It might have been, but it’s not there now” you groaned, regretting not bringing your jacket along with you. 

“I swear, I was walking in the woods and I looked over towards the cliff edge, and I swear I saw red eyes stare right back at me. It was like it was expecting me to be there” 

“What were you doing walking in the woods alone?” You questioned, although you weren’t surprised when you were ignored.

“Scott, are you sure it wasn’t just a fox or…or a rabbit or something?” Stiles suggested, feeling just as annoyed with Scott as you were.

“With red eyes? Sure.” He scoffed, kicking a rock off of the cliff.

“Scott, please. I just want to go home and have some dinner. I don’t want to be here, on the top of a fucking cliff in the fucking freezing cold looking out for a fox!” You shouted, gasping loudly when you heard a growl behind you, Stiles standing in front of you as the three of you turned towards the sound.

“Believe me now?” 

“Shut up you loser” you whispered, your ears listening intently for any sound of movements. Turning around, you saw your brother’s eyes glow red, the hairs on his chin and hands grow slowly as he also observed his surroundings. 

“Stiles, get back to the jeep” you whispered, pushing his arm in the direction of Roscoe.

“It’s date night” he replied monotonously. 

“Not funny” you breathed out, jumping at the louder growl from behind you. You growled and sprinted off into the trees, hearing your name being called from behind you. 

Scott and Stiles panted, scared for you and for themselves, although they dared not move as they could hear the growling get closer and closer to them. Growling and breathing heavily, the two boys looked towards the trees, preparing themselves for anything to jump out and attack them. 

“Ready?” Scott asked, Stiles nodding furiously next to him. 

Slowly, the creature began to emerge from the woods, snarling and barking at them. The two of them took a deep breath and pounced towards the animal, stopping in their tracks when a coyote took a step into the moonlight. 

“A fucking coyote?” Stiles asked, relieved that it wasn’t a dangerous, supernatural being. With a simple flash of Scott’s red eyes, the coyote whimpered and took off back into the trees. 

Scott sighed, his teeth and claws reverting back to his normal human self, “I’m sorry, I was convinced it was something more…more…”

“More dangerous than a wild dog?”

“We need to look for Y/N. She’s probably hasn’t shifted back yet, so be careful” Scott instructed, starting to head off before Stiles pulled his wrist back, turning him around to reveal a dark grey wolf approach them slowly, it’s piercing blue eyes staring at them in fear. 

“Y/N?” Scott asked, breathless at the sight of his twin sister fully shifted into a beautiful wolf, with the softest grey fur with pitch black streaks delicately placed in sporadic spots. There was a single white stripe along your nose and small patches of white on your paws. 

“Woah, Y/N…how did you do that?” Stiles admired, bending down to your eye level.

“She can’t answer you, you dimwit” Scott reminded him, smacking his head at his sheer stupidity.

You whined, nuzzling your nose into Stiles’ palms as he stroked your fur gently. 

“Can you shift back, Y/N?” Scott asked, pacing behind Stiles.

“If I could shift back, I wouldn’t be here like this right now” you thought, trying to signal to the boys. 

Scott picked up on this and sighed, “Once for yes, two for no. Bark” 

You barked twice, sitting down on the cold dirt, trying to scowl at the boys but failing as you were a wolf.

“No wonder, you never even fully shifted before. How did this happen?!” 

“You’re asking a dog and her boyfriend, you really expect either of us to know? That’s a sentence I never thought I would say. My girlfriend is a dog…” Stiles trailed off, becoming weirded out by the thought.

Scott sighed, but started to walk towards his bike, “Stiles, would you mind taking Y/N home? I’m going to talk to Deaton, see if he knows what the hell is happening to her” 

“Sure” Stiles replied, keeping an eye on you plodding along behind him before you suddenly started running off, “Y/N?!” 

“She’s probably just getting her clothes…she really liked the ones she was wearing” 

“Yeah well…it was date night” Stiles sighed, relief washing over him when you returned safely and started to walk beside him again, a bundle of clothes in your mouth, “You should probably let your mum know too, Scott. I’m going to take Y/N back to mine and let my dad know about the coyote” 

“Fine. I’ll see you later” Scott replied quickly, revving the engine and taking off. 

Stiles opened the door to Roscoe and took the clothes from your mouth, “You ok jumping in or do you need help?” 

You looked at Stiles for a minute, cursing him in your mind as you easily hopped up into the front seat, curling into a ball on the cold leather whilst snuggling into Stiles’ discarded jacket. 

“Well, that answered that question then” he grunted, slamming the door and hopping in the other side.

“Hey, Stiles” Noah greeted his son as he watched the TV, “What happened to your date night with Y/N?”

“Scott called us. Thought he saw something on the mountain, but turns out it was just a coyote” he sighed, tossing the keys to Roscoe in the bowl by the front door, Noah looking back towards him.

“Where’s Y/N?” 

“About that…” Stiles began, looking down towards you as you padded into the front room, looking at Noah with sad eyes.

“Holy shit!” Noah sprung up, backing away from you, “What the hell are you thinking, Stiles?! Bringing a wild animal into the house? Have you finally gone insane?!” 

“Dad! Dad!” Stiles rushed to stand in front of you, “Not a wild animal”

“Then…then….what?”

“Who, Dad…who”

Noah gasped in disbelief, pointing down towards you, “Y/N?” 

You poked your nose around from the back of Stiles’ leg, Noah still staring at you with his mouth wide open.

“You’re…you’re…how?” 

“We don’t know. Scott went to talk to Deaton about it”

Noah bent down to your level, still trying to process the fact that you had turned into an animal.  You began to whine, half scared to death, and so Noah opened his arms to embrace you. You jumped up, placing your front two paws on his shoulders and nuzzling your nose into his shoulder, feeling his hands stroke your fur gently.

“Is there any way to shift her back?” He asked Stiles, still comforting your whining form.

“The only way we know is for Y/N to do it herself, but she can’t”

You jumped off of Noah and walked out of the front room, rushing towards the bathroom. Stiles followed you protectively and sighed sympathetically when he saw you whine as you approached the toilet. You turned your head and looked back towards Stiles, letting out a long breath. 

“I’m sorry, sweetheart, but I’m not helping you go to the toilet. Do you think you can…do it like…like the rest of the wolves in the world do?”

You sighed again, “I am going to kill someone”

You padded back downstairs, Stiles right behind you, passing Noah who was still stood where he was when he first saw you. You began pawing at the back door, indicating to Stiles that you really needed to go. 

“Stiles I swear to god, I haven’t pissed today and the only time I get to do so is when I happen to be a fucking dog. The least you could do is hurry the fuck up” 

“Alright, alright Y/N. Stop scratching the door for christ sake”

Stiles opened the door and watched as you hurried outside, running behind the large tree in the Stilinski back garden. Noah sighed, scaring Stiles slightly. 

“She’s a goddamn dog, Stiles” 

“No way” 

“What if she can’t shift her back? Like…ever?” 

“She will” Stiles stated, trying to convince himself more than his father, “There’s always a way”

You jumped up on the sofa, curling into a small ball and laying your head on Stiles’ lap while watching the football game on TV. 

“Hey, princess” Stiles stroked your back, running his fingers through your fur. You snuggled into him further, looking up at him with sad eyes, “How shit do you feel right now” 

“I can’t answer you, Stiles. Think you stupid boy”

“You can’t answer me” he shook his head, still running his fingers through your fur. You lifted your head and looked around the room, trying to silently ask where Noah had gone.

“Where’s my dad?” 

You nodded your head, laying back down onto Stiles’ lap.

“Went to the vets, wanted to help Scott and Deaton. He said he would call me if they found anything”

You sighed loudly, before jumping down off the sofa and padding over towards the table where Stiles’ phone was, grabbing it in your mouth and flinging it on his lap. 

“What?” He asked, gesturing to the phone now shoved down the cushions of the sofa.

“Why else would I bring you your phone? Call them now” you thought to yourself, pushing the phone with your nose closer to Stiles. 

“Want me to call them now?” 

“YES!” You tried to shout, but instead, you began to whine angrily.

“Hey, hey, what’s wrong?!” 

You continued to whine, almost to a complete howl as you got so angry and frustrated at the fact that you couldn’t talk to anyone. Stiles caught on to your frustration and picked you up, much to your surprise, and hugged you tightly. You stopped whining and began to relax, slowly laying down on top of him.

“Feel better now?” He asked finally when he felt your breathing slow down. You licked his hand and grabbed the phone again, holding it above his palm.

“Fine, ok. I’ll call them. But listen, sweetheart, don’t get your hopes up yet, ok?” He sighed, placing the phone to his ear as he called Scott, “Hey, found anything yet?…..seriously?……she’s…well she’s not coping very well” 

You growled slightly, causing Stiles to chuckle slightly. 

“Just find a way and fast, she’s clearly getting cross with the fact that she’s, well I don’t know, a wolf……yeah, fine….ok we’ll see you later” 

Sighing, Stiles threw his phone onto the sofa and looked back at you, “Sorry” 

You huffed and placed your head on the armrest of the sofa, looking back towards the football game.

“It’s getting late…Scott said they’re going to be there overnight. Dad said that he’s going to stay so we need to lock up. Want to go to bed?”

You quickly jumped off the sofa and padded towards the stairs, making Stiles giggle as he turned off all the lights downstairs. He stood at the foot of the stairs with you, noticing you hadn’t moved in a few minutes.

“You ok?” 

You placed one paw on the first step and tried to begin to climb, but immediately you slipped and lost your footing, falling back to the floor with a big huff. You tried again but failed once more. After the third try, you looked up toward Stiles who had a big grin on his face and growled lowly.

“Hey big guy, please do something other than watching your girlfriend fall to the floor continually as she tries to climb a bloody flight of stairs”

“Want some help?” He asked patronisingly, wrapping his hands around you and lifting you up into his grasp, climbing the stairs as you licked his neck, making him squirm and laugh. 

“Cut that out, unless you want to fall down the entire flight of stairs again”

You sat on the end of Stiles’ bed, watching him sleepily as he changed into a loose jersey and pyjama bottoms.

“Still nothing from Scott. Sometimes hearing back from you McCalls is a challenge in itself”

You smiled and wagged your tail, making Stiles laugh.

“I’m just going to go and brush my teeth, you get comfortable and I’ll be back in a second. We can continue date night?” 

You stopped wagging your tail. 

“Yeah, I regret saying that too” he deadpanned, coughing slightly, “Star Wars?” 

“Not Star Wars again…anything but Star Wars”

“One for yes, two for no” he asked, frowning slightly after you barked twice, “Well, um…why don’t you pick out a DVD on the shelf and I’ll be right out”

As Stiles walked off, you huffed and plopped down onto the bed, closing your eyes. Being a wolf was hard work.

“Honey?” Stiles asked quietly, cautious that you had fallen asleep, “Y/N? You didn’t pick a film” 

You groaned and curled further into a ball, making Stiles laugh and get into bed, grabbing his laptop on the way. He spent 20 minutes searching all the lore and mythology he could find on the internet, his eyes occasionally flickering to you. 

“Y/N?”  He asked, watching you lift your head towards him, “You don’t have to sleep at my feet like my pet dog. As weird as it feels right now, you’re still my girlfriend” 

He lifted his duvet up to reveal the empty space in his double bed where you usually sleep. You stood up and stretched, wagging your tail before lying down next to him, placing your head on his chest. 

“Much better” Stiles said, kissing your wet nose and stroking the fur on your back. He stopped momentarily and looked at you, your eyes opening and meeting his.

“This is so weird. I can’t believe I’m in love with a goddamn animal” he chuckled at your frown, “But, I still love you. So much” 

You stretched your neck up towards him and licked his cheek, “I love you too”

The sunlight shone through the curtains the next morning and Stiles continued stroking your back, just the way he had done when the two of you fell asleep. He stirred and opened his eyes slowly, smiling as he looked down at your beautiful Y/C/H hair. 

“Hair?”

His eyes snapped open fully, sitting up just enough so as not to jolt you too much as you slept peacefully. He looked over your soft skin, his hand tracing down your arms. He shifted slightly, tensing when he felt you fully exposed. 

“Y/N?” He whispered, shaking your arm slightly. 

“Five more minutes” you mumbled before sighing and snuggling further into his grip.

“I heard that” he smiled, starting to giggle when he saw your beautiful eyes snap open, just how his had moments ago. You moved your head upwards to look towards Stiles, his smile bigger than ever. He leant down and kissed you gently, cupping your face to pull you closer to him.

“I have been waiting so long to do that” he whispered as he pulled away.

“I was a wolf for a night” 

“Yeah, our date night”

“Well,” you smiled, leaning back up to kiss him again, “I guess we better make up for it tonight” 

“Oh yeah, Chinese and Star Wars” 

“Oh god, anything but Star Wars, please!” You laughed, “We should call Scott, let him know I’m human again”

“I’ll do it in a few minutes” he leant down, kissing you again while you wrapped your arm around his torso and pulled him closer. When you pulled away, you only then realised that you were fully naked, “Can I…?” 

“Oh! Yeah sure” he laughed, pulling his t-shirt off to give to you. Just as he pulled it over his head, Noah burst into the room, making the three of you scream, all for different reasons. You pulled the duvet up to cover you completely, Stiles stuttering next to you to try and form some sort of explanation.

Noah coughed and looked anywhere other than at the two of you. 

“Please tell me you used protection”
