Today I learned that one of the people I bonded most strongly with at music summer camp this year passed away only months after his 25th birthday. I had called him my golden retriever the two weeks I knew him (blond, big curls, big puppy eyes) so the last day he asked if I should rename him as a dog and I said I'd then call him Lucky.

So here's Lucky as I will chose to remember him; a colourful and smiley guy if closed of and distant when you first met him. He showed me so much trust in such a short amount of time, bonding over childhood movies after 3 days of knowing each other, crying and opening up together after 6, let me be the only person hugging him in the entire camp after 9 and put on make up on him after 13

So MC was dropped from the sky basically right? Mammon caught then and promptly asked them for payment once they woke up, like the sweet man he is-

I love the theory that MC just disappeared then from the present.

Cause I see this-

Imagine a typical morning in Devildom. The day is calm as it could be- AS IT COULD BE- and the brothers are all slowly trickling into the dinning room for breakfast. One of them is the cook today, probably Mammon, and hes making some nice meal he knows is MC's favorite.

When its served, he going along, ignoring the accusations and teases from his brothers, but as hes about to plop into his own seat, hungry for some rare human food- Lucifer stops him. All of them.

Hes looking around, a furrow in his brow, "Where's MC?"

Thats when the empty seat next to a slightly more awake Belphie and for-once-pausing-in-his-breakfast Beel gets brought to light. Usually MC picks whereever they want to sit for the meals on their own, typically being one of the first ones there. But they're obviously not around.

Lucifer sighs, then orders Mammon to go grab them. Sleepy little human, is a phrase Belphie snickers at.

For once, Mammon isnt grumbling about the order, he estactic actually! He gets to see MC's light up face at their favorite dish! Made by him!

Of course, he masks a grumble, but hes all smiles on the way to their room.

As per tradition, he marches right in, esclaiming loud and proud about his success of making a typical weirdo human dish for his hum-

His human?

He stops in his tracks. MC isnt there. Their sheets are ruffled. Their uniform is still hung high on the closet door, and their bags and everything else they grab for the day is laying about. Never been touched.

Huh.

Imagine Mammon coming back with confusion, saying how MC isnt in their room.

Imagine after his explanation, they get too antsy to finish breakfast, they just get up to search for them. They tried messaging at first. Even calling. But they quickly found their phone lying under the sheets, still on charge. The constant ringing sending them on edge.

Beel is texting Luke and Simeon, but they have no clue whats going on. No, they haven't seen MC since their last cooking class yesterday.

Diavolo gets back to Lucifer with obvious worry in his text. MC said they were going straight home after the counsel meeting, though.

Barbatos repeats the same.

Asmodeus tries to message Soloman, his hands trying not to shake as he follows Satan and Levi around the house, both calling MC's name. All 3 growing more anxious and unsettled as they get no response.

But Soloman doesnt even respond.

Mammon? The first one to discover MC's disappearance? Hes on the verge of freaking out.

He keeps up his bite in his tone "OI HUMAN! Where the hell are ya!" Hes going from room to room like the rest of the brothers "YOU BETTER FREAKING RESPOND! O-or-.." His voice starts cracking. Every second he doesnt see his human feels even worse than the last, "MC! F-FOR FUCKS SAKE- RESPOND DAMN IT!" His arms burn with the constant throwing open doors, the moving of furniture. Where the fuck are they??

Once the house has been checked once. Twice. Lucifer even checking Cerberous's lurking grounds, silently hoping to not find any remains possible. The dog's 3 heads stares at his master confused though the whole thing, watching with silent ponder over Lucifer making rounds and rounds about the lot, calling for the human that helps with his monthly cleaning and daily treat giving.

The search continues out, all 7 demon brothers joined by the worried king and his butler, the two angels, as well as a few of their other demons, and Reaper.

All day and into the night they search, all desperate to not find out the worse of worse fates of the human.

The first night is hard. Lucifer had to call of the search for the night, allow himself and his brothers to rest from running all over Devildom. Diavolo sends his well wishes as he does the same, with the plan for first thing to send out better search options.

The brothers hudle in one of the main living rooms. They cant stop talking about it all, where could they be? Does someone have them?? Are they even safe??

Theres a moment where Mammon spits out a curse, hopping back up with a growl, and claiming to go back out again.

Lucifer can see his weariness and orders him to sit back down. His younger brother snarls back a retort, hellbent on finding their human. Maybe even socking whoever has them into the ground if he finds even a single glimpse of that idea.

The agrument goes back and forth, most of the brothers watching in either fury, worriedness, dread, or all. The argument only gets stopped in its tracks when a knock comes that the entrance.

Before Lucifer or any of his brother utter a single word, Mammon is booking it to the door. He tosses it open, expecting- no- hoping on every last grim its Lamentation's only human resident coming home.

But its not that.

Soloman stands alone at the door. His arms tight behind his back, expression stretched as if his words burn his mouth.

"I know where MC is."

♤ For example, you invited John to hang out at a bar, and then suddenly "forgot" to mention Bruce was also coming. It became a habit of yours. They didn't mind, though.

♤ Infact, they were so used to it, that they forgot about their troubles from before.

♤ Everything between you three felt natural. So natural, in fact, that they got REALLY bold. Especially John. You and Bruce never get tired of his flirtatious "jokes".

And, well, Bruce being the 'playboy' that he is, always goes along with it.

♤ Your goal to bring them closer worked, and in the process, they got closer to you as well.

♤ John is similar. He never hesitates to jump into action when you or Bruce may be harmed in any way. No matter how far he has to go. As long as your safe, he's okay.

♤ John is also jealous. He can be really possessive fast. If he sees someone flirting or trying anything with either one of you, he's stopping it immediately. Not that he doesn't trust you both, no, he wants it to be known you guys are off the table.

♤ If you had any criminal background, Bruce has it cleared right away. Thanks to Waller. As well as John's background. Because of this, you two don't have to worry about being chased down.

♤ Alfred is very used to you and John being over at the mansion, so much so he knows your favorite teas. And if you didn't like tea to begin with.

♤ John is obsessed with photos. You all could be out somewhere, or just sitting down, and he's immediately photo journaling it. He did it so much to the point of you bringing up the idea to Bruce about buying him an actual camera. And he did! He was absolutely estactic about it, and rarely ever puts it down.

♤ On the topic of photos, John decided to upgrade to a photo journal. He keeps a book of photos of you three close to him.

♤ Bruce is a total romantic. While he may not have that much relationship experiences, he definitely knows how to get under your skin in many ways. John has absolutely no relationship experience.. though, he knows how to push your buttons a lot. He's very observant!

♤ John's therapy circle at the stack decks knows all about you and Bruce.. and people who work for Bruce know about you and John. Alfred will even occasionally ask Bruce how you both are doing.

♤ Bruce loves to tease you and John by being sarcastic. John actually enjoys this, as well as you. Humor is very common among you three. There's never a moment where John won't break the silence with a joke or chuckle.

♤ It soon became a game between you all. You went to get back at him, Bruce got back at him, soon enough Brucie's sarcastic and teasing nature caught up with you and you felt challenged.

♤ None of you hated it. It made everything all more interesting.

♤ The boys are crazy switches. Bruce used to choose to believe he was a top, until you/John proved him wrong. He enjoyed both positions, as long as he could service either one of you guys.

♤ John is definitely not afraid of praise. He knows how to get you both going, he will never hold back. One simple gesture can have him holding you so softly and telling you how amazing you are at this.

♤ Bruce is very touchy. In public and in private. Especially in private. He isn't afraid to do it in public. He's all up for risks.

♤ So much, that he allowed you to be under his desk as an employee spoke to him. John knew all about this and teases Bruce about it. Even said to let him try it out sometime.

♤ With how strong Bruce is, you have to hope the bed stays intacted. And yourself.

♤ Bruce is rich, so imagine all the toys he could by with his money. They do not hold back.

Wait wait aiat what if Ingo and Lady Sneasler went back to the future in Sinnoh and without Akari. They are being monitored because hello, extinct regional pokemon popping up, and then Lady sneasler lays eggs. Ingo, of course , is listed as the father on hundreds of articles and it becomes a big thing, you know like the famous baby aninals that become temporary celebrities.

And then Akari comes back and travels to Unova, taking Ingo along with Lady sneasler and her kits. So now she is on the run avoiding authorities. And then they meet Emmet who knows Sneasler!Ingo as the sire of a litter of extinct pokemon but not as Ingo. He knows this because Emmet likes thinking up strategies for different pokemon and have definitely thought of some for the sneasler line.

Even though Emmet is estactic that he gets to meet these strong and extinct pokemon he secretly calls the authorities and keeps Akari distracted by asking her about the sneaslers. Then Akari goes "by the way, you look like Ingo before he got sneaslerfied except youre smilling. *gasp* Are you the man in white that like winning more than anything?!"

And while Emmet is processing becuase she mentioned Ingo, just before the authorities show up Akari introduces the male sneasler as the sneaslerfied Ingo who then does the all aboard stance and his best mimickry of the words to prove who he is. Maybe Chandelure pops out of her pokeball and hugs Ingo, doing her little greeting chime noise that she only reserves for Ingo. And then the authorities show up but Akari and the gang managed to escape, leaving poor Emmet there, realizing he was so close to Ingo only for them to be separated again.

And then Emmet realizes he's an uncle now. Not of Akari but of the sneaslets so he's researching care of sneaslets and figuring out the ethics of a human turned pokemon and a regular pokemon mating. Because would Ingo still love his mate even when he's turned back into a human?

Later, much later, after a lot of miscommunication, is it revealed that Ingo is not the father but is considered an adopted older brother. And now Emmet is wondering if a pokemon can legally do an adult adoption.

I imagine Ingo is also mildly stressed the entire time because he only knows Galarian and an older version of whatever the Sinnohan language is, so while he can understand the researchers to a degree, it's very awkward and choppy. He and Lady Sneasler are also in an unknown area that's questionably safe and Lady Sneasler just had a new litter, so Ingo's a bit busy being filled with panic to try and communicate with the other humans.

And then Akari shows up, stages a jailbreak (probably using her stupidly overpowered pokemon), and runs off with the sneasler squad.

Emmet is very excited to meet these no-longer-extinct pokemon, but also why the fuck is this fifteen year old traveling alone with a bunch of pokemon, he is Concerned

Akari: you look so much like my dad by the way Emmet: ...your dad. Akari: yeah Emmet: ...you said the sneasler was your dad. Bit of a ramble below

Well it certainly has been a year, huh? Never in my wildest fuckin dreams would I have imagined I get here. But a little over a year of drawing whatever the hell I want, joining wayy too many scp discord servers, and surviving through several fandom dramas later, here I am

There were several points in the year where we broke down and thought we wouldn't still be here, but the comnections and friends Ive made here and quite literally been the thing keeping us going. We've found 2 wonderful qpps, and have survived our hellish ex with our partner, and without them honestly I dunno where'd Id be today. And as for the rest of yall, my friends, my mutuals, my oomfies, the people I occasionally see in my notes- just know everytime I talk to you, or recognize a name on my dash or in the tags, or see yalls art, it makes me incredibly happy. I know this fandom can be weird or toxic or ridden through with drama, but honestly this little corner I managed to carve out for myself is pretty nice. Its peaceful. If theres anymore big names that take a downfall then those that found refuge in their art and are frazzled are more than welcome here. Come, sit down on a pillow, we have hot cocoa and tea

And while I do plan on branching out more and posting for other fandoms, like TMA, just know Im not leaving this one anytime soon. It has quite literally changed my brain chemistry and we haven't been in a community quite like this one before, where the lines between author and fan blur pretty heavily. Its by the fans for the fans, and I think that's awesome. Im somehow friends with several big names in the community, and while I dont really consider myself one (at least yet), I hope that I can bring as much joy to as much people as they have been in the upcoming time Ill be here

So yeah, thank yall for everything and all the support and just finding joy in the things I do, it makes me estactic to know that just popping up on someones dash or drawing another persons oc or designs can make their day
