#hush n shush wifi #not brainrot #cosplay talk #my vice grip is not nearly as bad this time!!!#i promise the rest of the sword is there it's just too long to fit in the photo #i used SO much of my charcoal gray #and this time i had to work on the entire weapon all at once #for reference the spear was split into three parts #the top the handle and the bottom #the handle was just a carbon fiber rod which was already the right color #so i could work on the top and bottom individually #but this one is just ONE sword and it's LONG #i also had to mix a lot of custom colors for this one #since my base ones weren't quite right #it's not perfect but i'm quite happy #especially since the print wasn't quite as high quality as Vortex Vanquisher #but hey it looks like Alley Flash!! i'm proud #good evening :)#wifi rambles

#xenia.txt #when i tell you this case keeps me up at night to this day #not even the murders themselves as much as the general public's reception to and opinions on the case 3 decades later like #i get why it;s always been so divisive especially after the pl docus came out (lots of opinions on those btw none of them are good #from the bottom of my heart fuck you joe berlinger and bruce sinofsky)#but it's truly baffling how no one is willing to do the research on what is arguably THE most well documented true crime case in recent #history like. everything that's ever been released to the general public is available online and i mean everything #you can find all the court files trial transcripts depositions interogation tapes aerial photos you name it it's out there for anyone with #internet connection to access at any and all hours of the day #and yet people are still foaming at the mouth fighting on reddit abt their innocence based off nothing but a couple of movies like #bffr with me right now!! almost every point the innocenters make can be easily debunked by scrolling through callahan for 15 minutes #'but they've been pushing for dna testing since their release so they can't be guilty' baby the case is closed!#it's been closed the second they took the plea. they can be striking under that courthouse and it still won't change a thing and they knowi #that's why they're pushing for it in the first place but that's just my opinion #^ and i say they but it's really only echols which makes a lot of sense to me personally #and if you want to talk abt dna testing let's talk abt the one that was done in 2011 and how the defense hurried to propose the plea as soo #as they got the results! let's talk abt those cause no one's ever seen them and i would very much like to #braga share the results the people want to know!!#makes me wonder which pieces of evidence they even submitted for that 2011 testing because if i'm remembering correctly #there was one that would've closed this case instantly and maybe that's why the results were never disclosed and the plea was rushed #but that's also just my opinion #and it's also interesting how the majority of people who have in fact deep dived into this case #(and i'm not talking abt big true crime youtubers as i'm very sceptical abt their research abilities)#all collectively lean towards guilty. much to think about #i was hoping someone would make another ~actually~ unbiased documentary for the 30th anniversary and go over all the case files #but i don't think that's even realistic at this point seeing as everyone and their mother has some sort of an opinion on this case #hbo deserves another lawsuit for this. they should've never won the first one in the first place #true crime tw

Fucking nerd has had a very specific movement of a very specific symphony stuck in her head for days on end and it will not release her

#yesterday i finally remembered what movement and what symphony it was at least thank fuck #it was tormenting me that i couldn't remember if it was beethoven mozart or haydn #we studied multiple symphonies by all of them in my high school music understanding class #by the method of 10 or 12 influential pieces of music across the recorded range of human history that we studied all year #and every couple of weeks when we learned a new piece of vocabulary or compositional technique etc #we would cycle through them top to bottom oldest to most recent and apply that new piece of knowledge #so by the end of the year we had studied these pieces so intently that we could practically perform them in our sleep #one of the most enriching experiences i had in high school for sure especially taking it as a sophomore #i remember being so delighted by how much musical knowledge i had that none of my other musician peers in other schools did #because it meant that i got to have the joy of sharing it with them and watching the light go on in their head #anyway music and symphonies am i right #my ramblings

I am taking note of every single villager who honestly suggests that Micah's half-monster status might have given his chosen bride cold feet and led to her running away and they are ALL dropping several positions in my internal character ranking.

#rune factory #rf3 #so i chose raven in the end. i kind of hate it in that it feels so basic and predictable. she is THE favorite for this game #but unlike say forte i GET the hype for raven. her writing as a character and her relationship with micah was just too good.#that said i have every intention of having a second save for my other fave marian #especially after seeing that some people have unique dialogue for your missing bride. i NEED to know what marjorie will say #about her granddaughter going missing. also theoretically collette. dunno if anyone else will have anything unique #but anyway while she was far from the only person to allude to micah's half-monster form being the problem...#this post was primarily inspired by sakuya. who i felt personally betrayed by #mostly because HER bringing it up as a problem just completely ruined my previously favorite moment with her #i LIKED that she seemed okay that micah was half-monster and was just upset that he didn't trust her enough to tell her #but this one line completely justified it! if you hate/fear monsters enough at this point that even micah is still on the fence...#then he was RIGHT not to tell you and you had the AUDACITY to get upset that he hid it???#literally her having a problem with micah being half monster at this point took her from 3rd in my books to like.#bottom of the 'girls i actually considered marrying' tier. so like. 8 or 9th #especially considering literally yesterday in game i finished her requests.#she had JUST convinced her mom to let her work towards an inn that accepts humans AND monsters #honestly anyone expressing doubts about micah's bride not liking his half monster status post amity fair/unity festival...#feels a bit wrong and incongruous. but sakuya especially?#after completing all her requests? after the FUSS she had about micah not trusting her with his secret?#after she repeatedly used him just for his wool and partially convinced her mom through the logic of 'some monsters can be USEFUL'?#(as opposed to the monsters actually having like. intrinsic worth or rights)#it feels especially inconsistent and regressive. and i hate it

I'm not a poetic person so why the fuck does my grief want to manifest as poetry when i don't even know how to write poetry

#kee speaks #been at least twice where something has happened that makes me want to write to process but don't know how #like knowing who was in my list of DM's that kept my sisters username stay right in sight at the bottom of my phone screen #and just now a notification popped up on my desktop discord from a particular perosn that i haven't heard from in months #so i know that her messaging will have pushed my sisters name off my screen and it feels like another loss #and a few months ago i was talking to my brother on the phone and i said how people always said how much me and my sister sounded alike #especially over the phone/radios #so i told him i feel bad cause i don't know if it's negatively affecting anyone else hearing her voice in mine #and he said it made him want to cry but he did feel like he could hear her laughter when i laugh #and he cherishes it #and when i hung up i realized that less than a year ago i was debating starting T and even had gotten the referral from my doctor #and one of the reasons i wanted to start T was to lower my voice even more #and now i feel like i can't do that right now because i'll be taking another piece of her away from my family #something something i wanted a voice of my own and now everyone hears her voice in mine and I'm the only one who can't hear it
