oooooooo… honestly might be faster to ask me what ships i don’t like. that is only half a joke… general tier list of ships goes like.

landoscar (my leetle guys… my two sharp toothed sopping wet kittens in a tattered cardboard box that i find half in the gutter behind my apartment…) is like the top most tier. their hold on me is unshakeable.

things i will almost always click on: jendo, markoscar, those two in other interesting configurations, nortrell, nortrell+oscar, maxf + oscar... but ok honestly if a mutual recommends it i will click p much regardless of ship unless it’s one of my few Absolutely Nots akdhskdh

and then i like many Other lando and oscar ships… ill read some loscar, 2019 rookies in various shapes (triangles, sides of triangles, besties), nico r/lando (listen. hear me out. anyone else seen All Those Clips? yeah.). fernando/either of them. i am kind of intrigued by lando/lance which is out of left field i know but ive read a couple fics… i fuck w the vibes… i want to examine the vibes under a microscope… that’s less high up on the list tho bc of the sheer rarity. norstappen sometimes hits but i gotta be in the right mood. uhhhh there’s honestly only like two ships w them that i am Quite Hesitant to click on (like i need it to be written by a trusted mutual, or come recommended by 3+ trusted mutuals, etc) that fall into this category and they’re both w the same guy 😭 sorry 2 that man…

outside of the realm of mclaren slutting it up! pierreste is like . probably on the same level as like jendo and markoscar 2 me. fernando/lance (i accidentally wrote lando here on rhyming autopilot) a centimeter lower. the centimeter there is caused by like . i could write pierreste i don’t think i could write fernando/lance w any sort of realism/good voices involved. but i love seeing them be freaks on the dash. charlos when im in a mood ! the catholicism and religious-tinged devotion of ferrari as themes (and in reality) freaks me out sometimes tho so the stars reaaaally have to align for that. galex as a treat on occasion! logex (or whatever the fuck it’s called. have i mentioned i dislike portmanteaus .) HITSSSSS but rn it makes me Very Sad so. yuki/many people bc i love him but lowkey yuki/liam… chefs kiss ba dum tss. PRINCESS CAKE WHICH I JUST REMEMBERED EXISTS. martian… lots of older ships actually!! brocedes but less frequently for Weird Headspace reasons. who has the tag that’s like “never beating the polycule allegations” that’s for the 2010s grid cuz that’s how i feel abt those ships . mix em all up im sure ill like what comes out.

the “bc of my friends <3” category includes uh. glance, which i will absolutely read when it’s brought to my attention and support the mutuals in their endeavors (including reading + reblogging their fic/web weaves/etc) but tend to kind of . let slip from my mind otherwise. piarles is in that same boat. sebchal a little lower on the “will read” priority list. probably more that i am forgetting; it is very hard for a fic to be something ill Never read (so long as it’s written by a friend at least) it just might take me longer to get around to it

and then there’s the like. i am deeply intrigued but have never delved into them category, which is like. hulk/kmag. valtteri/zhou guanyu. like i see things of them on the dash and im like . wow there is something deeply psychosexual going on here . but have never gone deeper…

lots of the ships i missed are probably more like. i am intrigued (not deeply so) and have read a few fics that made me crazy but never quite caught the bug. there’s maybe . a handful of ships i generally dislike and they’re for very silly reasons mostly lol

Also, since it's an election day again, I'm going to reiterate my opinion which really angers some people that spoiling your ballot is better than not going to the polling station at all. No it's not some grand defiant gesture that will change the course of politics, and it can't actually have any bearing on the outcome, but you're still going to the polling station and participating in the election. You'll be included in the voter turn out figures, so people, in particular the politicians, can see how many spoiled ballots there are in their area. Ultimately, they want your votes, so if they can see there's x number of people who are willing to participate in the voting but whose votes haven't gone to anybody, and if they have any brains, they will want to try and gain those votes next time around. Obviously if there are any candidates you can stomach the thought of, then vote for them, but spoiling your ballot is better than not voting at all

A/N- yeah. hiii. it's billy !! im back. again. plz read with caution- there is no mention of the assault itself (it is alluded to many times; there are no intimate details), still. you know yourself best. stay safe lovelies <33

I tried keeping the assaulters identity neutral- but let me know if i messed up and used he/him pronouns at all and i'll edit the post :3

Billy is unable to understand the full scope of your traumas, however, he understands that it runs deep, that if your anything like he is that you feel it in your bones and the ache of your body.

Trauma is so personal and crushing. He wants nothing more than to take that away from you, endlessly lift your spirits, he wants to make you feel whole again. Loves you too much to see you like this.

He can't do that. As much as he and Stu can do, they can't erase what has already happened. He will be there as much as he can, for whatever you need. He has always been devoted to his loves- it increases tenfold when you open up about your assault.

Stu automatically wants to kill the perpetrator, takes Billy aside to tell him all his gruesome thoughts- until Billy stops him. Tells him, roughly, to shut up. You don’t know what you're talking about, man. Our little love needs to make that choice on their own.

Billy talks about it with Stu beforehand obvi. Billy wants to wait for you to ask them about killing your assaulter, while Stu would go to you and ask straight up if you want to be the one to kill them (if you want them dead. He won't understand if you desire to keep them alive tee bee aich, but he'll honor your choice).

Stu just like. He doesn't get it. He doesn't handle it well at first. He's far too brash and laughing- well. Not laughing, he knows enough to realize that would have been a bad move. Though he seems to not know enough as he's all jokes still.

Both boys are so emotionally stunted- Stu has only had to comfort girlfriends before (which, he was admittedly not the best at. He stole apologies and one liners from movies) and the brief vulnerable moments that Billy allows himself to show. C'mon, give him a pass, okay? He's trying :(

Stu's comforts are all hugs and cuddles and gifts- depending how you react to those things, maybe he won't have to branch out too hard. Either way you'll need more than one source or level of comfort- Stu WILL learn new things for you, though.

He has a hard time if you don't want physical touch! He gets all whiny about it and it pisses you off, you have to give him a stern talking to that it's NOT about him and he has no right to act like that. Psssh whatever . . .

He buys you so many things, as if that will ever make what happened okay. He hopes you appreciate it though. He'll get all sorts of comfort items, food and stuffies and stuff that he KNOWS you love. He'll buy it in bulk if he has to lol

For learning things, it's hard on all of you, but he and Billy will try their darndest to be emotionally available (just for you, babe!!). Billy is good at listening, Stu needs to get better with it.

Billy just listens to what you have to say, and I think on really emotional nights he opens up about his own trauma. He opens his wounds so you know he genuinely cares and is committed to you. Regardless of anything and everything. Billy will make himself a permanent fixture in your life, always.

(again really not that Stu wouldn't but it's so different y'all)

If you have nightmares they'll stay up with you until you're ready to fall asleep (or at least try).

They make it an all-nighter and pretend they were always planning for movie night. If you want to watch something that's not horror? Yeah, that's okay!

Though he does have some buddy comedies and cheesy romcoms. He owns one or two mysteries cause Billy likes them.

Admittedly they aren't great with panic attacks. Billy gets anxious- what if he makes it WORSE? He'd hate himself for it. Stu is surprisingly good at grounding you though :D

All in all- it's an adjustment for everyone. They're gonna be there for you forever though, okay? Good luck getting rid of them <3

something that really irks me in video games is this certain treatment of religion. specifically: when there is an explicit religion or belief system (explicit here meaning it has a name, describes specific beliefs or practices, or has its Creation Story described) and it's the Only One. no thought given to what other cultures might believe, hell, sometimes there's not even variations in the belief itself. worst though, is when this One Religion is also implied, or directly stated, to be True and Correct. Even whenever the game itself just. treats it to be True and Correct, and often so do fans!

of course, there's often a Singular Exception to this in a token athiest (or anti-theist) characterwho is often grouchy, grumpy, or Troubled in some way shape or form. their story arcs tend to revolve around them seeing the Truth of this particular (and only) religion, in a way that is often Miraculous.

a good example of this would be a certain popular farming sim which i'm not going to name because i'd rather this post Not explode.

in this farming sim we are only introduced to this one religion, something that even the ancient beings and cultures (possibly otherworldly) are shown to believe. some charaters believe more strongly, some believe more passivly, and one activly does not believe and drinks beer, is grumpy and grouchy, and generally a mean character at the start. we get Lore about this belief system, including excerpts from its religious text, items that mean to imply this belief system is True, and there's even a place of worship. as far as i am aware, in the base game we're simply not shown any other beliefs aside from the Lack of Belief (and look how good That character has it (no shame to him of course, i love him, but unfortunatly it is a fact of his character))

The entire thing, quite frankly, strikes me as Incredibly Christian. The lack of consideration of other religions, or what they may or may not believe, and how these religions are tied to different ethnicities and cultures and historie. thestrong beliefe that this One Religion is correct, absolutly so, and furthermore the importance placed upon the fact that it must be correct. The almost Evangalism of these atheist characters being shown to be depressed and miserable without this One True Religion, until their lives are made brighter and happier, usually after witnessing something that cannot be explained in a way Other than the One Religion being True and Correct. This last part doesn't always happen, but it does occur with enough frequency.

It's also incredibly frustrating as well with the homoginization of things, because in real life many many *many* religions are tied to herritage and culture and identity of shared history! It's frankly a touch disturbing seeing such a prominent lack of diversity in a setting, with such a heavy emphasis on all the characters sharing This Religion. No different histories, no different accounts, no different cultures.

i, personally, would just like to see more religions presented in video games, without one of them being Directly Confirmed to be the Good and Correct one that the other characters should be shamed for Not Following
