I’m seeing people get excited about Eurovision now that olly alexander is representing the uk… Palestine is still calling for a boycott as long as Israel is in it, and yet people who were previously encouraging boycotts and saying “free Palestine!!!” are now ignoring all that just because they happen to like one of the contestants.
Y’all clearly only care about Palestine as long as it doesn’t disrupt anything about your life, and we can see that.

The fact that people are booing Eden Golan at Eurovision and that people on the internet are celebrating that is disgusting. And when Eden and the Israeli delegation leave the place because of security concerns (which everybody knows fucking good and well are legitimate) they’re calling them cowards.

There’s a lot of Zionist out there
I’ve seen a lot of people saying that the people vote was rigged because of the Israel score. I don’t think that is true.
A lot of pro Israel groups have been encouraging people to vote for Israel despite not being Eurovision fans. In my country there was a whole article about a guy who’s never watched or voted sending 40 votes to Israel this year just as support and a large portion of people boycotting might also have effected the results.
I believe that those voters were real. But they didn’t come from Eurovision fans. There’s a lot of Zionist out there.

Most Eurovision drama is just, maybe voting fraud
Most Eurovision feuds is between televote fave vs jury fave
It isn’t “fan favorite vs controversial country where one questioned its inclusion and it ended up with rumors going around mocking dead parents and now fan fave didnt show up at the reversal”

Israels song is still boring the second time hearing it. Sure the girl has a good voice but that doesn’t help if the song is boring.

For Eurovision fans/and anyone else who would be watching Eurovision this Saturday
Please, please convince your friends and family (and yourself) not to vote for Israel for the Grand Final if it's for political reasons. Israel's victory would completely disrepute the contest and we DO NOT WANT it to happen Like, just vote for any song but Israel's or better, if you/ your friends/family like it, please vote for Croatia. Not only a Croatian win can stop this (or other country), it's the most positive outcome for this year's contest and the most plausible one to do it. I don't want to force you not to vote for Israel if you like the song. However, after the Italian televote leak, we have to do it together to prevent an Israel win.

it's crazy to me when people go "eurovision isn't about politics" in response to boycotting it when it is
israel literally tried to enter with a song called "october rain", fucking october rain
like it's always been politics, the entire idea was "countries should lead friendly competitions in the arts with one another for peace and anti-war". it's always been politics and especially so when they banned russia from competing. and the fact that people try to go "oh its alright to watch it even if they let israel participate after it only changed its title to hurricane and after the esc forbade palestinian flags"

The Swedish commentators about Israel:
When they showed a clip of her performance in the semi final they only showed when she danced but not singing. And that sure (mean) something, doesn't it?
