also, I think it would be fun (or, "fun") if István actually had multiple Eriks, if he kinda established a system of devshirme of his own, and his Erik, being his absolutely mad self, would straight up murder all these other "threats" to his position as István's favorite. he'd kinda....stack the bodies of the other orphans-turned-István's-little-toys up for István in the courtyard and be like "see? i did all of this for you because i love you more than they did".

István would be like "Oh my god, I LOVE this, by the way, did i tell you that the stronger dog fucks the bitches?"

rewatching the nebakov scene was a good decision. as much as i don't like how old erik looks in the game, the actor does a great job at portraying him as an agressive puppy erik is. this sunshine covered in several layers of blood giving :) is the best thing ever
