perhaps a hot take, but dear god I HATE how erik looks in kcd2. he's supposed to be younger than istvan but looks much fucking older. you don't get the feeling that he's around the same age as henry when in kcd1 he clearly is, and it just makes me so annoyed. I didn't even realized that putin-looking dude in the trailer was ERIK until I played the game and they had to tell me ab it. now when I'm brainroting over isterik (which is also a RIDICULOUSLY good ship name bc from russian it literally translates as tantrum or hysteria) it just offenses me, like WHY??? FOR WHAT REASON? he was looking just fine in kcd1, and if there was an issue with an actor — it's still a 3d model and devs could've make the new actor look younger in the game 😭

whatever is going on between janosh and adder (i cried like a bitch). just. just top tier. adder is an idiot but something about him makes me go :D . and then there's janosh who i expected to dislike, but he felt so kind and silly and sweet throughout the quests that i can't really say anything bad about him. and in the end i wanted to give him a hug. 9/10

zizka is a goat, funny sometimes, i stan my questionable commander 8/10

kubyenka seemed like i would hate him af, and sometimes it really felt that way, but this mess of a man is actually really brave and always ready to help, so he's good. rip to his liver tho 7/10

hans was DONE FOR the moment henry showed up in that cuman camp and it's canon for me

for henry it took a while but when he realized his feelings it was undoubtedly love, the deepest it possibly could've be (also he needed time to heal after losing bianca like damn we don't talk enough about her)
