I've been rewatching the kiss scene, trying to figure out exactly what's going on in each of their heads in every moment, because devs did so much micro expressions, and I couldn't figure out exactly Hans' smile when Henry takes his hand

And I finally realised he smiled that stupid dopey relieved smile because he thought his story about the two knights spelled it crystal clear out for Henry that Hans is madly in love. Surely it must be that, why else would he touch his hand like that? And just as Hans is about to say something else (I now suspect he would have said something much more direct and sweet right there) Henry suddenly stands up! Alarms ringing, panic, he didn't actually get it! So the only thing left was to instantly stand up too and kiss.

The fact that Henry does nooooooot catch up until he is kissed and then needs just. 3 extra seconds to process it and get on with the program? That's so damn funny to me. And endearing.
