Lucifer:

Refuses to watch it at first and is the last one of the brothers to see it

He thinks it's just some dumb kids show and he does not have enough time to be watching that with his busy schedule

Won't insult/question you for watching it as long as you are happy and getting all your tasks done, but still finds it a bit childish.

He likes seeing you happy so he’ll listen when you talk about it even if he doesn't have a single idea what you're talking about it.

As all the other brothers start watching it he does feel out of the loop.

He also finds himself humming songs from it because you, Asmo, and Mammon will often break out into songs from the show

Eventually the curiosity gets to him and he wants to see it. He wants to see it for…. research. I mean even Diavolo is watching it now! It's his duty to understand these sorts of things. That's all it is. It's not like he WANTS to watch it

.His pride won’t let him seem too interested in it so he instead hints to you that y'all should watch it together in the most roundabout way ever. Because you know, it wouldn’t be terrible if you forced him… Please drag this man to watch it he won’t watch it on his own but he wants to

Because of Luci’s busy schedule the two of you set up a plan to watch an episode or two whenever he’s free

After about a season of the show Lucifer is absolutely hooked and finds himself watching the show on his own

Is embarrassed to have gotten so engrossed in the show that he watched ahead so he instead just watches from where him and you were when the two get together

But after a while he grows impatient of having to rewatch episodes he’d already seen when he could be watching from where he actually is. After all, he just NEEDS to know what happens to the mane six next. Will they defeat Chrysalis??

Eventually you catch on that he has more info then he should and tease him for having watched ahead. He denies it adamantly but the next time they go to watch he mysteriously puts on an episode about 10 ahead of where they were last time. Don’t mention it to him or you’re never allowed back in his room again. >:(

He doesn’t have a favorite character in particular, but may end up liking whichever one reminds him most of you. He also respects Celestia for how she handles the stress of her position without ever growing angry and feels close to her because he also had to make a hard choice with a younger sibling in the past. Don’t show him Lullaby for a Princess, he WILL cry

Mammon:

Is the second one to start watching

Originally he may tease you for liking a kids show but if it makes you upset he will immediately backpedal and sputter about how he was just joking and please don't get mad at him-

After he sees you and Levi talking about it he wants to be in on the convo. After all, Levi can’t be getting all that time alone with HIS human just because Levi knows more about some stupid colorful horses!

So Mammon goes and binges the whole show. It takes a couple weeks of all nighters and his grades may be doing worse than usual but now he’ll be able to talk about the show with you >:)

Mammon definitely becomes totally invested in the show

He is sobbing over the emotional parts and laughing at the funny ones

When Beel first hears the sobbing from Mammons room one night while he’s getting snacks he’s immediately concerned. Beel barges into the room to check on his older brother but when it turns out Mammon is just watching some show he relaxes. After all, Beel is more than used to hearing Levi up late at night watching anime.

The next time he sees you and Levi talking about the show he casually jumps in the convo with a bunch of info. Levi is angry because rude, Mammon can’t just interrupt him hypothesizing the economical value of a bit with you! But, you are absolutely delighted to hear Mammon actually watched the show!!!! :D

The praise and attention from you was absolutely what Mammon was looking for, and even though he may try and play it off it’s obvious that he’s melting from your beaming smile

Meanwhile Satan and Asmo are off to the side, pouting because they too want attention from you too!

Mammon, Levi, and you can often be heard loudly singing songs from the show and talking about who the best character is

Mammon of course adores Rainbow Dash, she’s clearly the coolest!

Mammon buys a little figure of her to put on his nightstand and talks to her when he’s scheming

Will sometimes take her with him to the casino for luck :)

Levi:

He’s the first one to watch the show with you

At first he doesn’t want to because ew normie show

But you can easily get him to watch it by either just hugging him or pointing out how y'all are always watching things Levi picks

Is one of the only brothers to not try and hide his first impressions of the show and is hooked pretty early on

He’s an expert on binging shows with you so you both manage to get through the whole thing pretty fast

He adores Fluttershy to bits and will take any opportunity to rave about her. Of course she isn’t as great as Ruri-chan, but who is in Levi’s eyes?

He thinks Fluttershy is very impressive with how she is so shy and anxious, but still stands up for what she believes in and even learns to stand up for herself as well!

He is absolutely cheering her on every step of her journey to be less anxious and really admires how hard she seems to work on it

Levi sees how her friends want her to improve but also don’t try to force her too far out of her comfort zone and is reminded of how you treat a yucky otaku such as himself. He is suddenly even more grateful to you and may give you more presents out of nowhere with no explanation

He starts to use Flutters as a way to motivate himself when he is apprehensive about something, he is constantly thinking to himself “Fluttershy would try her best in this situation and I should too!”

You better believe this man has every piece of merch with Fluttershy on it. He actually keeps his favorite figure of her next to his favorite figure of Ruri-chan and he looks over at them about 10 million times a day

He’d also get you anything from the show they wanted. You mentioned there was a limited edition toy you couldn’t find/afford as a kid? You better bet Levi is hunting it down and spending any amount of money to get it for you <3

Satan:

Satan may appear highly sophisticated and whatnot with his charming words and seemingly limitless pool of knowledge, but he actually enjoys many things that others may consider childish

He’s never been one for judging other too severely thanks to how many lifestyles he’s grown accustomed to by reading, and he’s learned to be even more open minded since you came along

So while he may understand the social repercussions for doing childish things and therefore avoid them while in more close minded company, he has no problem with goofing around in private or with you

So when Satan hears that some of his other brothers were so invested in a show from the Human Realm, he can’t help but ask you about it

Once he hears more about it from you he is more than willing to watch the show

He watches some of it with you and some on his own, really it’s just something he has on a lot of the time and you join in watching whenever they are hanging out

Satan of course takes a liking to Twilight and he seriously laments the destruction of The Golden Oak Library

He's the type of person to think up complex theories. You would probably be pretty amused hearing him somehow come up with the exact same theories you remember from fans during the shows run.

He would try his best to figure out how magic in the show works and gets very invested in his theories. He might try to recreate spells from the show in real life.

Probably likes Twilight the most out of the characters.

Asmo:

Asmo is at first a little reluctant to watch the show, but who is he to say no to MC?

He also sees Mammon being praised for watching it and is instantly jealous

They put the show on in the background while he does MCs nails and he isn’t really paying attention until a certain purple maned fashionista is introduced

Falls in love with Rarity at first sight. Now THAT is one fabulous mare!

Absolutely adores all episodes focusing on Rarity, especially the ones focused on her boutique

Asmo is quite good at understanding others and their motivations so he ends up breaking own each character and analyzing them unintentionally and even makes some points that not even Satan or Levi would have been able to notice

He also uses his designing skills to make some of the outfits that Rarity makes in the show, just modified to fit a humanoid form of course

Out of all the ones he makes he ends up liking the Grand Galloping Gala dresses the most. He wears all of them and posts plenty of pictures to Devilgram. Even if most of his followers have no idea what the dresses are from they still support Asmo in everything he does

Asmo also ends up asking Solomon to grab him some Rarity related merch next time he’s in the human realm

Beel:

When Beel comes home from the gym one day to see you and Belphie cuddling in the twin’s room and watching the show Beel doesn’t question it

He just plops down on the other side of you and joins in

Beel often ends up watching the episodes infrequently and out of order, but he still enjoys what he does see

Might watch the show while at lunch at RAD

Now THAT makes for an interesting sight, the avatar of gluttony surrounded by a mountain of food with his usually RBF and just watching some brightly colored kids show with his headphones on

Beel never once judges you for it being a “kid’s show”, in fact the thought never even crosses Beel’s mind. To him it’s a good show and that’s all you need

Beel actually ends up liking it a lot and you show him some more cartoons from your childhood for him to watch

He of course loves Pinkie Pie and The Cakes for their sweet creations

But his actual favorite character is Applejack

He loves her hardworking nature and honesty

He really just adores the whole Apple Family, they all seem to love each other so much

His favorite episode is probably the one where Pinkie goes on a roadtrip with them to see if she’s really an Apple or not

Dungeon Meshi Ep 2

The beautiful bouncy animation is soooooo good. So much sakuga and love has been put into this anime is so apparent from the very first scene.

ALSO MAN. THE FOOD and also FAT APPRECIATION IN THIS SHOW.

Not only are there characters of all sizes and body weights, with no body shaming to be found whatsoever, the fact that the wiki has everyone's BMI recorded, and there is a strong light shining on needing to eat full meals to function, and that your cravings mean your body is lacking something and you should listen are all great and important things, and I love that this show is highlighting all that.

And then there's fucking Laios.

Bless this man.

This is a lovely episode about book smarts vs street smarts, and both having their place, and that we are always learning new things.

And also lots of screaming.

Episode Spoilers Below the Cut

First off, good on y'all for fighting against the Basilisk, that was very cool teamwork with Senshi and Laios. Makes for some cool screen shots.

But Also.. This man is DYING of poison. And Senshi has the remedy, looks this man in the eye and is like, yah, nah, I'm using this for dinner.

Thankfully dinner is the cure. BUT FOR FUCKS SAKE.

Y'all PLUCK and ROAST a whole ass chicken that's the size and probably the weight of a roast pig... That's at least 10 hours of cooking, I'm sorry, that man dead lmao

Next is Marci's experiment.

She's a little bookworm who trusts what she's learned in her classes and has to do things by the book! I love that she's not all talk though. She takes her time to set up and plan it, and executes it perfectly! She's just fine!

Juuuuuuuuust fine.

This whole after scene is delightful. I LOVE THIS SHOW. They're such a lovely little found family. Marcille being forced to be honest with her partners because she's been brain fried is good for a Tsundere, and them being reassuring to her is such a.. TTwTT lovely relationship.

THE CHICKEN IS THE TAIL. WHAT IS THIS SHOW I LOVE IT.

The other shining stars of this episode are Chilchuck and Senshi.

Poor Chilchuk, he's just a stressed out little halfling guy trying to keep his friends from dying, and not having to eat Roast Dwarf.

Senshi is full "I Will Cause Problems On Purpose" and "This Is Fine" all in one.

Capybara was like THAT MAKES SO MUCH SENSE!!! When Senshi just.. straight up had his finger in the boiling hot oil. Dwarves -> Forges -> Hot things are fine (・ω・)

perfect temperature reading. my brain often tells me to do this and I'm so glad I don't.

I love the ingenuity of using the traps to cook! Sasuga Senshi for the idea and Sasuga Chilchuck for making it a reality!!

I also appreciate that I will NEVER BE COOKING ROAST GIANT BAT, but that I'm getting a "Kewpie 5 Minute Cooking Style" recipe walk through.

Throwing in a screenshot here cause Capybara noticed how sweet it was that the Chilchuck's burnt kakiage was also lovingly drawn into the presented plate.

Silly Turtletaub origin story below the cut (I'm sorry! 😅)

About 10 years ago, we were watching a show together (Jericho - it was cancelled). It was very dramatic, both of us would be tense.

At the end of every episode, the executive producer’s name would pop up on the screen.

Both of us would compulsively mumble the last name, “Turtletaub,” and then giggle, the tension from the dramatic show released.

We’ve got that neurospicy echolalia, so of course we started saying, singing, and yelling it randomly.

It then morphed into a series of silly pet names and noises, some of which we still use to this day.

"Twisty tubey turtle taubs"

"Tube taub"

We would just bellow "TAAUUBTAAUUBTAAUUB" like some demonic mantra

"Tube hole"

We still call each other “tube” more than any other pet name (even more than our original, “nugget/nugs.” We occasionally do a “nug tube,” or a “tube nugs”)

Pretty much daily, one of us will yell from across our open floorplan, “how’s my tube?” “Are you a tube?” "You tubin' over there?" “Hey, tube hole, want anything from the ‘Up World?”

Neither of us remember when/how "taub" got turned into "tube," but it has stuck with us.

When I first got invited to Ao3, I didn’t think I’d ever write or post anything, so I just picked the first thing I thought of. I was going to try to change it, but I was too impatient. I wanted my first fic out immediately, so I just went with it.

Partner and I still giggle pretty regularly that it’s my username. Whenever I show him one of the amazing comments y'all gift me with (tysm! 😭) that refer to me by the username, he mumbles it the way we did on that shitty old couch, and then I mumble it back until we dissolve into the sillies for a couple of minutes.

When I'm at my desk he often asks me, "are you turtletaubin' (or "tube holing" - again, sorry!) over there? You writing the smuts for all your tubes?" (Yes, you are all my tubes now, and I am so sorry!! Please forgive me 🙏🏼)

It feels so ridiculous, but it has made us laugh for a decade now. I don’t even remember much of that show besides the fact that it was tense, and dramatic, and we loved it.

So it has nothing to do with turtles, or turtle doves, or German words.

Just a couple of giggling weirdos watching a stressful show, and then being obnoxious with each other for 10 years 😅😅😅

I'm excited to finish my current wip that I'm working on and post it after doing some edits to it. I'm really happy with how it's going so far (I can't write a short fic for Killer and Healer to save my fucking life)

Now, Killer and Healer is my go to answer for every show, but it's not really a feel-good show, if you know what I mean. So I'm gonna go with White Cat Legend because there are some episodes, ep. 18 in particular, where I just screech with laughter because it's so god damn funny. But my other feel-good show is any show that talks about Ancient Egypt. I love Egyptology and wanted to be an Egyptologist when I was younger (mainly to study mummies, is anyone surprised that I ended up in forensics? No, you shouldn't be). But yeah, any nature documentary or documentary on Ancient Egypt is my go-to feel good show

Hey guys, this really sucks to type out but - I came home from the first day of the tattoo expo yesterday night with the intent to export my PNG's and get them uploaded for tonight's release, only to find one of my Rekindled pages corrupted. IDK what caused this, I've had this happen in the past but it's been a LONG time since it happened so it kinda blindsided me, to put it lightly.

The good news is it wasn't a very complicated page, it had about 4 panels, so getting it redrawn from scratch won't be too much of a headache. But the bad news is that I, well, have to draw it from scratch LMAO Normally I'd just buckle down and get it done but I'm currently occupied buckling down on the tattoo expo this weekend (which is a whole other thing I'm hyped to tell y'all about, it's been wild but a great experience overall) so unfortunately this means no upload tonight, in addition to no stream as I will be tattooing until 10 PM tonight.

HOWEVER! It's, again, not a complicated page. So I'm hoping to get it done tomorrow after the expo is wrapped up (it only runs until 6 PM). And the next two days after that I'm taking off from the shop to chill so I'll be using that time to get next week's episode finished.

I'm genuinely so sorry for all the interruptions and hiccups this month, it's been a mess 🫠 Granted, a lot of it's been a good mess as I've been getting to do shows and other fun opportunities, but there's been a lot of stress mixed into that too and it's throwing wrenches into things that should otherwise be rather simple to do.

my rating of supernatural season 2

1 - in my time of dying

literally they were insane for starting a season off like this. it had everything. i appreciate in hindsight how well it set up the themes for the entire rest of the season, as well as genuinely threw me off and astonished me. i have such complicated feelings on john winchester, but jeffrey dean morgan infuses him with such sympathy that i couldn't help but feel for him. fredric lehene as azazel is also a highlight, i genuinely think he gave us one of the best performances of the season, and i wonder if we'll be seeing him back. emotionally i think this was my most evocative post of the liveblog. 10/10

2 - everybody loves a clown

while the monster in this didn't hit as hard for me, i think it did a great job of setting up the roadhouse as a central location for the show, as well as introducing us to ellen, jo, and ash (my beloved, may his memory be a fucking blessing). it was also really impactful to see sam and dean's separate ways of grieving john, as well as giving us a really interesting role reversal. showing dean as the one disillusioned with their father while sam is eager to carry on his work is very compelling, especially because it's evident (at least to me) that sam is far more like his father than dean is. i'm glad they resolved my stress about the impala because jesus christ. 8/10

3 - bloodlust

MAN this episode fucks. it has a lot of supernatural all time hits, like dean's coping mechanisms (bad), classic winchester codependency, wondering about the morality of judging all supernatural creatures as "monsters" to be exterminated, and starts setting up the tension of dean potentially having to kill his brother. unfortunately, it also introduces another kind of supernatural standard, which is its constant crimes against black people. gordon is an interesting and compelling character, but you can really tell he was the product of white writers and casting directors, because his complexities are not treated well. it's also worth noting that in this season, the majority of the recurring antagonists are black men, and the implications of that just. doesn't really sit well with me. beyond that though, the premise of the episode is really interesting. 7/10

4 - children shouldn't play with dead things

we have another like. weirdly sexually charged episode. which is par for the course in this show but it's always funny to witness wincest in its natural tongue-in-cheek habitat. i thought the monster in this was fun, and it sets up the revelation dean has about john dying for him very very well. the one sin is that y'all did not have an episode set in lawrence kansas without having the boys go visit missouri mosely? really? the disrespect. 8/10

5 - simon said

this episode did NOT have to go as hard as it did. this is like. peak supernatural. i really enjoyed andy as a character, and the further setup of the chosen children and their abilities is sick as hell. the parallels between sam & dean and andy & his brother were... appropriately bonkers. this is supernatural. we can't have a normal brotherly relationship. we got fell on black days. 10/10

6 - no exit

i have to admit that i really love jo and was glad to see her centered more in an episode, though i am begging her and dean just to get it over with and make out already. i also thought that making h. h. holmes the ghost was pretty badass. this season does a lot more with actual american folklore and history instead of just having generic monster of the week episodes, and as a huge nerd i thought that was great. the ellen and john backstory reveal was also particularly tragic. i had fun here. 7/10

okay this one was so much fun. this was one of the first episodes where they really shook up the formula and turned our expectations of it on its head. i also thought highlighting how in sync sam and dean are with each other through a prisoner's dilemma scenario was really clever. this show never really commits to an acab stance in a way i would have preferred, but this was the early aughts so like. it's whatever. they get close enough to it. 8/10

8 - crossroad blues

this episode excels in that it takes one of the most classic american folktales (selling your soul to the devil at the crossroads) and uses it as a fun monster premise as well as setting up the denouement. it also has a fun tribute to robert johnson, which i found pretty cool. demons seal deals with a kiss so i demand to know why the hell azazel and john didn't kiss. you know. for scientific purposes. 8/10

9 - croatoan

insane that this show managed to make a zombie apocalypse style episode without zombies or the apocalypse. it was pretty inventive, especially because i'm kind of tired of the white western idea of zombies. the conspiracies around the word croatoan are kind of funny to me because like. overwhelmingly the evidence points to the lost roanoke colony assimilating with the local american indian nations, but i'm here for a fun time not a technical time. this episode also sets up some insane lore for the end of the season with sam, as well as some classic winchester agonizing. 9/10

10 - hunted

gonna put a quick trigger warning for discussion of racism here.

this episode could have been perfect and then they dropped the ball so hard at the end that it was physically painful. it had two incredible soundtrack choices (white rabbit and supermassive black hole), what was maybe a twin peaks reference???, it girl katherine isabelle, and some really well done suspense where dean is essentially a trap baited for sam. however, the righteous justice for gordon being sam calling the cops on him so a bunch of cops roll up on a black man wildly shooting a gun into the night made me feel sick to my stomach. there's no real way to look at that as anything but racist and tone deaf. they could have handled gordon's character far better. at the time, i said that i was glad that the show didn't show its white protagonists shooting a black man in cold blood, but the last episode really negated that. ugh. i don't know if i feel good about rating this episode quite honestly, because it was really the best and worst of supernatural.

11 - playthings

HOLY FUCK. WHAT CAN I EVEN SAY THAT HASN'T ALREADY BEEN SAID. it's a homage to the shining and also like. thee wincest episode? how am i supposed to be normal about this. 100/10

12 - night shifter

i'm so glad they brought the shapeshifter mechanic back, but i don't think it was done as effectively as in skins 1x06, but maybe i just have a fixation on the erotic. anyway. i kind of struggled with the setup for this, because while it is cool, it doesn't feel as classically supernatural to me. calling sam dean's bonnie to his clyde? insane. 7/10

13 - houses of the holy

i don't really have anything coherent to say here except sam winchester prays every day. amen. 8/10

14 - born under a bad sign

ohhhh the concept of this fucked so hard, but the pacing was just really off. it felt like simultaneously this episode should have had more time with this story, but on the other hand i don't know if it should have lasted two episodes. lost time is one of my favorite tropes, and the tension that comes with demon!sam is fantastic. i just wish that this episode had hit harder for me. 7/10

15 - tall tales

i said in my liveblog that this episode felt like that one episode of merlin where gaius is possessed by a goblin, and i stand by that. honestly i understand the need for there to be lighter episodes with less heavy stakes, and it was fun to see how the brothers saw the same events from different points of view, but this episode was kind of a low point for me. it was fun, but nothing extraordinary. i did really like the detail of the trickster getting away at the end. that was fun. 6/10

16 - roadkill

okay i did not expect this episode to tear my heart out. i really liked this, i thought it was startlingly sweet and sad. mike flanagan wishes he could make ghosts realizing they're dead this good quite honestly. 10/10

17 - heart

what the fuck! 10/10

18 - hollywood babylon

this was a lot of fun! this show likes to play around with meta a lot, and i think this was probably the most well done example of it thus far. it felt like the showrunners were poking fun at themselves more than anything, which i found pretty neat. 7/10

19 - folsom prison blues

first of all. you can't fucking name your episode folsom prison blues and not even play a johnny cash song. that's not how that works. it has some genuinely fun stakes and doesn't handle the prison aspect totally awfully. we also got an alice in chains needle drop! rooster was completely misplaced contextually, but aic's one of my favorite bands and i'm just glad we got it. 7/10

20 - what is and what should never be

what the fuck part two. dean winchester breaks my heart. 8/10

21 - all hell breaks loose (part 1)

HI UH THIS IS PEAK TELEVISION. I FEEL. HUUUUUGH. they really did it! they spent the entire season telling us that sam was going to die and then the crazy sons of bitches did it! i also really genuinely enjoyed the premise, as well as the ava reveal (katherine isabelle carried), and ash and andy made me so sad. fredric lehne is pure ice as azazel. delicious episode. 10/10

22 - all hell breaks loose (part 2)

this episode made me want to commit atrocities and i'm fine. dean winchester's constant willingness to sacrifice for the ones he loves because he's so deeply convinced that he's let them down makes me want to gnaw off all my fingers. sam's maybe come back wrong? incredible. JOHN WINCHESTER WITH A STEEL CHAIR. i'm addicted to this show. 10/10

Y'all know what time it is. I've only shared my personal timelines but not any extensive thoughts on what I actually think about Metalocalypse. At least not on tumblr. So let's gooooooooo

💖 What's your biggest unpopular opinion about the series?

I genuinely don't know what popular opinions there are for the series as a whole! So for me my “biggest” unpopular opinion for the show is just what I feel most strongly about.

And it's how season 4 was a crock of shit and I dearly wish we could have gotten a do-over.

I know there was a lot of executive meddling involved, that Brendon had pumped the show full of lore and character exploration that the network and writers (or at least Tommy Blancha) didn’t aim for. I get that! And visually season 4 is a treasure.

But what we got that we have to take as canon is absolutely trash. The lack of exploration for Magnus and how all we get is him being “evil and kuhRAzy” was complete shit, considering there had to have been a bigger story there. I don't buy Brendon's old tweet about him being nothing more than an abusive asshole because why would he not only have that sympathetic shot in DSR during “Do It For My Brother”, but 10 years have Nathan pointedly grieving him all through AOTD? I call bullshit. Magnus was a founding member of Dethklok so the fact that we got nothing after all this time is just fucking terrible.

And then there's Abigail. I could make a whole post about her but I'd be shouting into a void. All these platitudes about how she should've gotten better knowing good and damn well that the majority of this fandom does not care that she was set up for failure as a Black female character who “got between” a favored mlm ship, even when it was blatant that Abigail didn't want to be there. She should have been integrated better. We got all the signs that she's just as wacky and unhinged as the guys but her only screen time in canon was Questionable, and in fandom she's reduced to a babysitter. Trash.

And do not even get me started on the Nathan+Pickles relationship and conflict. We had three whole ass seasons to show them being supposedly super best friends so the reveal of the friender bender came out of nowhere and now serves as the lynch pin of their relationship. And that's bullshit! Where was the set up? Where's the history of them also being founding members, the leaders, of Pickles being a former frontman and industry vet and Nathan being brand new to that shit? It was a whole fucking missed opportunity and I kinda hate how it's like none of their interactions even mattered until that point and now that's all it's about. This sudden strong friendship and the breakup and Nathan apologizing for the wrong shit.

Season 4 should have been about just what exactly was in Seething Vortex that was so horrible that the Whale Goddess had to have it destroyed. We should have gotten more focus on the conflict of the dynamics that make up the band – of Nathan and Pickles being leaders with contrasting views, actual focus on why Skwisgaar is so rough on Toki and not just the fallout of both (Bookklok was also a Not Great episode). And the kind of scars Magnus left on the guys all this time.

(That's actually why I'm writing paint the sky, to fill in those lore and character development gaps.)

💚 What does everyone get wrong about your favorite character?

Pickles being a “mother” is actually a terrible and no-good thing for him and I wish it wasn't treated as a core or healthy part of his character. And I really hate how he was named that in AOTD, although the “bring Mommy his scotch” line in and of itself was fantastic.

Every time Pickles is in “mom” mode it's a stress response and he is not happy!! We don't know why Molly treated him that way and there probably is no reason. It doesn't matter! The damage is done and Pickles is still paying for it and it's really not something he needs to reclaim. He's a “mother” in that old stereotypical way where he's stressed out, overworked and underappreciated. He's a “mother” in that he gets excessive and overbearing when he's desperately trying to get a situation under control. Him going “mother” is not good!

I do believe he has a nurturing and caring side to him. I do believe Pickles is the most emotionally mature of the guys (though considering the guys, that ehhhh may not be saying much, but I digress). I do believe he could be a good parent and that he should define that for himself because he has no good examples of how a mother or father should be, so he can make his own damn definition! But in canon he is not in the environment or company for that.

And I do totally see Toki being able to confide in him because of Pickles being the most emotionally mature, and Toki is the only other one who will verbally express wanting to indulge in feelings and do good. Even if his attempts can be short-sighted (see: Dethgoverner, Fertilityklok). Still. Toki is a grown-ass man and Pickles is not Toki's goddamn mother.

🧡 What is a popular (serious) theory that you disagree with?

I dunno if this is a theory so much as popular headcanon?? But whatever. Pickles and Seth are not twins. That line in Dethwedding where Seth calls Pickles his older brother I've always seen as a slip up in line reading. Every other instance says and shows Seth as being the older brother; he's much taller in the Rehabklok flashback, and he's introduced by the Tribunal as the older brother in Dethfam. Like, c'mon.

I didn't think I could genuinely feel so bad for Elan 5, but this episode just kicked me in the gut. Dude found a kindred spirit in Norea, and any notion they could go on the run and be free together was cruelly shot down, both metaphorically, and then quite literally when one of Cathedra's pilots sniped her Gundam's cockpit.

Suletta bonding with Petra, the pair of them working so hard to help evacuate Asticassia, and then Suletta seeing Petra being crushed by rubble... our girl is NOT okay.

THEN WE HAVE LAUDA. He still doesn't know what the fuck is up with the Schwarzette, and not only does he hear Shaddiq talk about how Guel was the one to kill their father, and Guel indirectly confirming that fact, and THEN being informed about what happened to Petra. There is so much goddamn pain in this episode holy shit.

I honestly have liked El5n for a while now. As douchey as he is he is literally the same was El4n-a tool that was modified and twisted for a purpose and could be discarded at any time. And he was so afraid to die and so desperate, and that's why he found a twin soul in Norea who was also another child who was only a tool kept around for the purpose of piloting a gundam until she died and was terrified of dying. I knew Norea's death was coming for a while, but I never expected it to be such a heartbreaking moment in which we also saw El5n say his first honest words from the heart ever. Him telling Norea was the landscapes in her sketchbook made me tear up. He understood her in a way he'd never tried to understand anyone else. A spacian who understood an earthian. And it was all in vain because Norea was killed before he could even answer the only question Norea had for him-what his real name was. I'm absolutely destroyed

Suletta bonding with Petra was such a sweet moment that illustrates the delightful complexity of gwitch characters-bullies who are more than that and who can actually bond with main characters and show kindness and hope. And then she died. Without being able to see Lauda. After asking Suletta what she was looking forward to do after she survived. Ouchie. I'd really come to appreciate Petra because of how much she cared for the Jeturk siblings and this was really painful. And Suletta who apparently isn't traumatized enough gets to destroy her own hands trying to rescue people out of the rubble. Because what else can she do now that her entire world is broken besides trying to help others.

(Side note: Secelia showing again that beyond being a bitch she's willing to collaborate with the earth house by lending Chuchu an ms. Perfect. And Chuchu and Felsi getting together to fight the Gundvolvas, outstanding, marvelous, showstopping, etc etc etc. And the most important part for me was that they managed to save the animals. Tico is okay y'all)

I am SO CONCERNED FOR LAUDA. My man hasn't known a moment of peace since his brother lost that duel to Suletta in s1. His brother disappeared, his dad was killed, he had to control the sinking ship that was the company without even having time to mourn his father and now THIS. He finds out his brother killed his father from Shaddiq in the middle of a terrifying battle. Literally what is gonna happen why do the writers keep torturing these boys. I'm so stressed out. At least Guel managed to defeat Shaddiq but I wonder when will Guel actually win a fight without getting into more trouble

Overall an incredible episode that crippled me emotionally and left me unable to continue with my html homework 20/10

Had to Restart Keto...AGAIN!😖😤🙄

Ugh, I get so frustrated with myself. I allow stress from life and, especially from work, to drive me to binge eating. Last weekend was a hot mess!🤐😒

Anyway, I think I may have finally cracked the code on how to follow a diet and workout plan that will work for me. There are several components that had to come together for this. I am tentatively hopeful because this seems to be working for me (since I got back on the wagon around mid-last week.) So here's how my plan looks right now:

Eating & Diet:

Intermittent Fasting (18:6) - I currently eat between 12:30pm-6:30pm. I am using the Fasting Tracker App (the free version), but I am sure any Intermittent Fasting app will work for this. The app also allows me to keep track of my weight and water intake.

Low carb to Keto Diet - It will take me about 3 weeks to get down to 20 grams of net Carbs a day in any sustainable way. I'm about sustainability at this point in my life. I am starting with around 40-50 grams of net carbs to ease my body into it AND to figure out the foods I like that also fit this way of eating.

Phentermine 37.5g - I am not taking it as prescribed but instead am using the Dr. Childs Method (which I have found much more gentle on my body and nervous system with no disruption to my sleep so far!). The Gist: The gist of his method is to use episodic intermittent fasting (so as not to damage your metabolism) along with Phentermine, which means you will only take Phentermine a max of 3 times a week on the days that you are practicing your prolonged or episodic fasting. On those days, during your eating window, only eat about 500 calories. I am going to only take a 1/2 a pill, 3x per week, during my prolonged fasting days for the month of October. P.S. I am following his method but got the actual prescription through telemedicine, so I am not using the products Dr. Childs actually markets on his website.

Workouts

Twice a Day Gentle & Skin Tightening & Muscle Tightening workouts - So I recognize that I can and will lose weight fast using the three things above in combination. However, I don't want to be left with a lot of loose skin. By the time I go home to see my family for Christmas (in about 3 months), I don't want to be the same fatty I was when they saw me last Christmas (I am not fat shaming, I am only speaking about myself when I use that term). Anywho, I have figured out that multiple, gentle workouts (that have proven effective for me) in the past is the way to go. At most, I will put in about 40 minutes per workout session.

A.M. Workout: 2, Oxycise! workouts, which are about 20 minutes each (I love this workout! It's no impact and is a perfect thing to start with if you don't want to go to the gym or have limited space). They have some university tested results on their website about the effectiveness of this workout, and about 90% of people involved in the test lost between 1/4 lb to 1/2 lb per 20 minute workout. I can attest to it being that effective. Like anything, you just have to be consistent. I highly suggest you doing the monthly subscription through the Oxycise! app (about $20 a month with access to a nice size workout library) if you are interested. Oxycise will serve as my cardio on this weight loss journey.

P.M. Workout: 2, Winsor Pilates workouts (the 20 minute ones), this is about 40 minutes total before bed. Since for me personally doing Pilates makes me very tired, I opt to do this workout in the evening. Pilates impacts everyone differently so try and see what works for you. Subscription through the Winsor Pilates app/website is about $30 a year and I do think it is worth it. Per it's advertising in it's heyday (back in the early 2000s), you can lose a dress size after 10 workouts. I tried this back in 2003 when I was home on Winter break from college visiting my family---y'all no cap, I went from a 16 dress size to a 10 dress size by doing one 20-minute Winsor Pilates workout every day!🥳 Like I had to get new clothes before going back to school. So yes this workout is very effective if you clean up your eating habits. Now I realize that was over 20 years ago when that happened but the fact remains this is an effective workout if you do it regularly. Winsor Pilates will serve as my resistance training on this weight loss journey.

For this next week, I will only do one of each workout in the morning and in the evening. I need to ease into what I am doing and get familiar with what I am asking my body to do, therefore I am ok starting slowly.

This is where I am at now and I will record how I am doing in a few days.

My Goal

So with all of these items combined above, I want to get my dress size down to around a 6-8 before I go home for Christmas to see my family. I am currently around a size 20, but I know my body and I can drop inches very consistently when I am on Keto and doing Pilates. Yes this is an ambitious goal but I am hopeful. I loved this episode!! I thought it was amazing :D. There were a lot of great plots going on (okay right now for Eddie's I'm just confused and mad at him but that's besides the point xD it was wild so I'll count it as good because entertaining lol, it better go somewhere good though I'm also counting it for that), but Jennifer absolutely CARRIED this episode :O :D. Girl is an icon <33. And of course so is Maddie :') 🥰🥰. Henren may be committing crimes (as in they might be crimes) but we love them xD :D. Lol xD. All these idiots on this show I swear lol. But ah, I love them <3. Maddie and Chimney were not idiots this episode though to be clear they were icons <33. Anyway xD. Some really interesting plots, great storytelling all around (that's just what my brain decides to say just go with it ik it's kinda strange), and some great moments for everybody even if they weren't really in a main plot today :D. Also I'm stressing about Bobby o.o some really cool moments there too. But yeah, great all around!!

Maddie and Chimney! Y'all the FEELS they were making me feel this episode 😭😭😭🥺💔🥰. Jennifer absolutely ate, carried. She was so amazing :D. But seriously it was heartbreaking 😭😭 and then seeing Chimney support her and listen to her 🥺🥺🥺😭❤️ he is perfect <3. And they slayed so hard figuring out the abduction!! I'm so glad everybody ended up okay :'DD. They really figured that out, ate that for real 🥰🥰. Also the whole thing about the woman in the passenger seat :'(((( 😭😭😭🥺💔💔❤️. So good <333. I'm so glad they have each other <33 :'D. Also that scene with Jee-Yun at the end was absolutely adorable 😭😭❤️❤️🥺🥰. And Chim just looking on with how much he loves them in his eyes :')). Y'all I love them so much <333.

Overall, I really enjoyed this episode! I thought it was super good, and the acting especially was just on point (though of course it always is). It also set up some really interesting things for next time, which, while I'm scared about, could be really cool :O xd. And the calls were great! I'm so glad the main girl from the call and her baby are doing alright <33. They went through a lot but they'll be okay :')). The moment of her seeing her again and then reuniting was just so amazing 😭😭🥺🥰❤️. But anyway, everybody did great figuring it out, and just in this episode in general :'D. Don't know what Eddie's doing though lol, though he did do well on the calls xD.

So yeah! It was amazing, I really loved this episode. Certainly a wild one though. I'm excited and nervous for the next one! This has been my review of. . .

The Eclipse Episodes 10 & 11

WARNING: Spoilers! Like duh, but like there's a TWIST I did not see coming. Also, shit got real serious between these two episodes so...there's a lot less funny here.

Okay, so I definitely watched episode 10. I remember fucking nothing. It seems that Chadok is definitely a shit bag. And we find out that Ayan's uncle was also a teacher at Suppalo, one that Akk really looked up to.

The scene where Akk puts together everything and realizes that this teacher he cared about is actually dead, fucking heartbreaking y'all. I am still enjoying the sweetness with Akk and Aye. But I'm also still confused about whatever this curse is supposed to be.

No jokes for episode 10 because nothing made an impression. (Okay I have one joke, but it's kind of in poor taste, but I'll give it to you. I work in a small office, me and one other person. I was watching on my tablet at work, but I didn't have headphones, so it was just playing. My coworker asked what Chadok's fucking problem was when she saw him yelling at Akk. My response was "he's mad because the kid isn't being Hitler Youth-ey enough". This is not entirely incorrect, but it is in poor taste.)

God Akk fully working out how he's been used to hold up this fucked up system, well now I'm crying. Their discussion in bed and Aye wanting kisses, so sweet but also the STRESS on Akk.

Thua did do a bad thing! Like it's 'ehhh' because like he's not lying, but Akk is supposed to be his friend. And if your friend's being shitty you should say something, but like maybe don't call them out in front of your whole school. I feel bad for Handsome boy. Also, public outing of Akk, definitely not cool, esp. since Thua is fully aware of the ramifications of it.

Props to movie boy for quick thinking, but like the whole outing situation sucks. I do also appreciate the lady teacher saying she'll stand up for the protesting students. I was worried about her kowtowing to the pressure since she's a new teacher.

Poor Akk crying, he needs the hug from Aye. 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭. No not friends fighting.

Aye confronting Chadok. That's unexpected and expected at the same time.

Oh my GOD!!!! Why the fuck has Chadok been acting like this the whole time!!!! Oh I do not want to like Chadok, but these actors are giving their all here. I'm so fucking sad right now. So the headmistress is the villain, that solves why Chadok was scared of her. 😭😭😭😭😭 This is so fucking sad.

Everyone needs a hug, except that headmistress lady who needs a swift kick in the ass..

Okay maybe Thua also needs a boot to the ass. Some good intentions, but dude at the expense of your friends??? That's close to a Killmonger style villain, jeez, but he also didn't murder anyone so like it's hard to just shove him into a villain category.

Okay I gotta break some tension. Handsome boy asks what he should do to Thua. My thought: Thua should say "Why don't you kiss me about it." It's not gonna solve problems but if I've learned anything from KinnPorsche it's "if you can't beat the enemy, then maybe fuck them (you know, just in case that works)". But also Handsome boy is now Sad Handsome boy. 🥺

What is this suspicious weird kid always in Akk's business. Now I'm fucking worried he's going to fuck shit up. I do think that making Akk and Aye star in this short film is fun.

"Tell. Me. Everything."

You give her a nervous chuckle. "No, Aish. I don't like talking about my love life in front of everyone."

"There's three other people here, Y/n." She's right. Just you, her, a man fixing some set probs, and Matthew who is most likely ignoring you.

"Okay okay. So, it was nice."

"Nice?"

"Yeah. He seems pretty cool. He's like a guy you just want to hang around with, ya know?"

"Sure, sure. Go on."

"I don't know..."

"Did you let him rail you?"

You snort and hear a shocked choking sound from Matthew behind y'all. Honestly, you're just as taken aback as he is by what Aisha said. But why does he seem so shocked? What does he think you can't have fun and have sex? Maybe the thought of you in anything not uptight and bitchy makes him laugh. Your face turns bright red as if you were in middle school talking about your crush.

"No," you say, shocked. "I don't do sex on the first date."

"Ugh boring. But I get that. Are you going to go out with him again?"

"I think so. He actually texted me yesterday and asked if I wanted to go to a movie."

You hear another sound from Matthew. It's almost like a groan. You ignore him.

"Awe cool!"

"Yeah and maybe we'll have sex," you say this just to make Matthew squirm in his chair. You turn back with a smug grin on your face and he makes a gagging sound. "Oh grow up. You're just mad because you haven't gotten any lately."

"How would you know that?"

You fold your arms. "Have you?"

Matthew looks away, and you know you if conversations were a competition, you won.

You stand up from your actors chair that reads Y/n Y/l/n on the inside. Every time you sit in it, it makes you feel special and truly a part of the cast. They'd gotten you the chair a few weeks ago when you were starting to be on set most days a week.

Today, the start of episode 10, is well... an interesting one. You have to kiss Matthew Gray Gubler. On the mouth. The thought makes you get those butterflies in your stomach. But like the ones where the butterflies have knives and are stabbing your insides. Not a good feeling.

You're already dressed up as Delilah; in a long sleeved olive green knit shirt, dark jeans, and black combat boots. You have a black blazer-type jacket to wear over it. Your makeup is on, and your hair just needs to be sprayed down again then you're ready to film.

Kylie comes and smooths down any fly aways in your shirt, straightened hair.

In no time, the director yells action and it's time for you and Matthew to film your scene.

Spencer Reid is waiting on Delilah's arrival. He'd asked her to breakfast so that he could finally tell her something that's been on his brilliant mind forever.

Delilah shows up with a smile on her face, her boots click slightly against the floor as she walks over to him. Spencer stands up to pull out her seat for her.

"Ooh a gentlemen," she says with a smile.

The sight makes his cheeks burn rosey. "How's work been?" He asks, not sure what else to talk about. A billion things run through this mans mind, but he never knows entirely what to bring up with a woman.

"It's getting better, actually. I've decided to hire and assistant to help me."

"That's great, Delilah."

"Yeah. What about you, catch any bad guys this week?"

"Yes actually. I'm exhausted, but I wanted to see you before we have to go into work-"

Spencer stops talking while a waitress comes to take their breakfast order. They both order a coffee, and Delilah gets a fruit bowl and toast. Spencer orders a muffin and eggs.

Delilah laughs as he pours an absurd amount of sugar into his coffee. He looks up at her, blushing.

The two talk while enjoying their breakfast. It's nice for them both to once again get away from all the stress of work. They always seem to get away from it together these days.

Spencer suggests they take a walk down the sidewalks of Quantico. They walk together and look at the sights of this part of the city. Mostly tall buildings, a few restaurants, and small businesses. People walk or drive past them in a hurry. Time seems to slow down as the two walk side by side.

Spencer stops abruptly at the park about five blocks down. There's concrete paths that bikers or skaters can ride on, or for walkers and crazy people who run. A few people are there. Mostly some older couples getting in exercise and a few joggers.

"Are we here to stare at elderly people as they walk?" Delilah asks with a chuckle.

"I have to tell you something."

"I'm all ears."

"Well. Remember when we were talking about exes? I've had a few.”

“And you want to tell me about them?” She asks.

“Mhm.”

“You don’t have to, Spence.”

“I think I should,” he says. “This girl named Max just didn't work out, I had a weird and intense relationship with a criminal that kinda just... I don't even know..."

"Woah, really?"

"Yeahh. Not my finest moments."

"But the one that really stings... Her name was Maeve. She was everything I wanted: smart, kind, beautiful, easy to talk to. But she was being stalked, and I couldn't save her in the end. I watched the woman I loved die in front of me."

"Oh my God, Spencer. I..." Delilah doesn't even know what to say. She can see the hurt in his eyes. She can tell he hasn't spoken of this to many people. Or that he never wanted to speak of it again. So why is he telling her this?

"It's okay. Anyway, what I'm really trying to say is that my past has, in simple words, sucked. But I like you, and I'm willing to open up again. I'm willing to get hurt again. You're really just amazing honestly, and I've been thinking about this for a while. Delilah, I want you. If you want me too..."

"Spencer," Delilah stops his fast talking. "I... Wow. Thank you for telling me all this."

He stands there stunned. Did she just thank him? Was that all she was going to say? He just put his heart out there again and-

Delilah pulls him in by the shirt and presses their lips together. He relaxes into her, deepening the kiss. Spencer cups her face with both of his hands. He doesn't have to lean down too far, she's already tall and standing in her tip toes. Their mouths move in unison, fitting just right with each other.

Spencer pulls away. "So you..."

"I do. I want this. I want you."

Spencer cheeks burn red, and he can't help but smile. He pulls her in for another kiss. "Dammit." His phone rings.

Delilah giggles at his frustration while he answers the call. She knows it's work. She knows he has to go. It hurts a little.

"I have to..."

"I know, It's okay."

Spencer sighs. "I should probably go get a taxi."

"Yeah," she says softly.

He turns away with a frustrated little smile. But before he makes it just three steps, Spencer turns around. "Just one more." He kisses Delilah softly, not wanting to let go of her beautiful face.

"Goodbye, Spencer. Be safe."

"Goodbye."

Delilah stands shocked and happy for a moment as she watches him leave. She knows it must've been hard to say all that to her. She's happy he did. His past was rough. Tougher than anyone's she's ever known. But that's all the more reason to adore him. He's been through so much and still manages to put himself out there. He exposed himself to her, and she knows she will never break his heart.

"You seem awfully chipper today," JJ says.

"What? No just ready to work."

"You're a terrible liar sometimes, Spencer."

He presses his lips together, making his mouth form a line.

"I'll get a name out of you soon. I know it."

You're not entirely sure how you feel about the kiss that happened less than 20 minutes ago. It was... good? But it wasn't between Y/n and Matthew, it was Delilah and Spencer. It was just acting.

The scene was actually beautiful. Watching the scene back made you choke up a little. As a fan, you hurt even more for Spencer.

You hope the fans will like the couple the show has created. All they really know about Delilah right now is that she was a victim and was saved. You only had a couple episodes in season 15. But they also know you have come back for season 16. Maybe they don't know what to expect.

"Still thinking about the kiss?" Matthew says, shaking you from your thoughts. You had been staring at the floor.

"Yeah totally. Wondering if next time they can edit out me throwing up."

"Haha. So funny." he says in a monotone voice. "You loved it."

"Sure, sure. As much as I love getting my head slammed into a car door," you remark with a sarcastic smile.

You laugh while walking away toward your trailer. You change out of wardrobe clothes and back into your grey t shirt dress that you just slipped into before leaving your apartment. After getting back into your shoes, you head to your car and go home.

Moments after releasing a rather loud guffaw at a funny scene from the television show you have playing on your laptop, you hear a small groan echo from beside you. Turning your head to the source of the noise brings your attention to your boyfriend, whose tall form rested on the bed beside you, ensconced in your blankets. His eyelids flutter open and his eyes the color of charcoal fasten on you before narrowing in a small glare of annoyance from underneath the sea of black waves atop his head.

Maybe you would’ve felt even the slightest bit intimidated if his face wasn’t close to being absorbed by the yellow fabric of his hoodie--and if he hadn’t flattened his hair against his forehead by closing the drawstrings to secure his hood around his head.

“Kiyo!” you whine, crossing your arms in front of you chest, “Were you really asleep just now?”

His dark eyebrows furrow as he answers matter-of-factly, “Yes. You know I go to bed at ten o’clock, (f/n). It’s ten thirty.”

You roll your (e/c) eyes at him and protest, “But this is a sleepover! Would it kill you to stay awake a little longer so you can spend some precious time with your beloved girlfriend?”

“Lack of sleep can lead to sickness. Sickness can lead to death. So, yes, staying awake longer to spend precious time with my beloved girlfriend could kill me.”

“I hate you.”

He lets out a long sigh and reaches over towards your laptop to close it, putting an end to your Real Housewives marathon. Once he’s moved it off of your bed, one of his arms snakes around your waist and pulls your body down towards the mattress. His midnight gaze doesn’t falter as he says, “If you get sick, I won’t be able to spend time with you like this, so sleep with me.”

Your heart skips a beat at his tenderly spoken words, and you crawl underneath the covers so you can place your head on his muscular chest and curl up beside him. The feeling of his warmth surrounding you is enough to make you melt into his arms and forgive him for completely ditching you in favor of sleep.

Few things were more romantic than spending an evening with your boyfriend on your hands and knees, against the cold, tile floor of the kitchen, cleaning up the aftermath of the mess you’d created.

Lifting your gaze from the white goop coating the flooring, you glance over at Hirugami, who looks completely unfazed and unbothered despite his face still being decorated with dollops of whipped cream. Beholding this sight once more sends you into another fit of laughter that makes it hard for you to keep yourself steady.

“What?” he asks, a small smile creeping onto his lips at seeing you so amused.

In between breaths, you manage to ask, “Why’ve you still got whipped cream on your face?”

With a roll of his chestnut brown eyes, he uses his fingers to swipe some of it off so he can help himself to another serving. “Obviously,” he scoffs sassily, “I’m saving it for later.” His smart comment makes you snort rather unattractively, which, in turn, causes chuckles to pour out from his mouth. “I’m assuming that’s what you’re doing too, right?”

Your (e/c) eyes widen, since you thought you’d done a good job of clearing up the results of your whipped cream battle from your face. A glance at your reflection in the glass of the oven where the cookies were slowly baking soon proved you wrong. Instead of being irritated by this discovery, however, you let out another, wheezing laugh and fell onto your side.

To any outsider, the situation would’ve looked rather strange--an incredibly tall volleyball player dressed only in corgi-patterned boxers, a sweater, and socks, face covered in whipped cream as he fell about laughing with his girlfriend who wore a similar ensemble and was sporting the same whipped cream situation. However, in your defense, it was two o’clock am, and you were high on sugar.

"Come over here and I’ll get the rest off your face, then,” Hirugami suggests, extending his long arms towards you that beckon you closer to him. After you scoot closer to him, he pulls you into his embrace and starts peppering your skin reddened from laughing so heartily with kisses. With each press of his lips against your face, your heart flutters in your chest.

He only pulls away from you when the oven beeps, alerting you that the cookies you’ve been awaiting are finally ready. But he does so with hesitation, seeing as he’d been caught up in savoring the sweet taste of your lips instead.

“You ready to eat some cookies?” he asks with a grin.

Your reply makes him snicker: “Always.”

The familiar and gentle voice of your boyfriend rouses you from your semi-conscious state, and you hear the sheets of your bed rustle.

“I’m so tired, Tetsu... what is it?” you wonder groggily, not even bothering to open your eyes to see what’s upset him.

“I think your house is haunted,” is his response. Though he speaks calmly and coherently, his hazel eyes are wide with fear and darting around the dark bedroom.

“Oh, stop. I knew it was a bad idea to watch those supernatural Buzzfeed Unsolved episodes before bed.”

The bed sinks behind you, and you feel the warmth of the blanket he’d stolen from you earlier around your body as he pulls you towards him so your back is flush against his chest. While you appreciate his closeness to you, you can tell he’s far from relaxed. The grip his fingers have around one of your shoulders is tight, as if he’s using it as a stress ball.

You murmur his name with indignation and pry his cold hand off your shoulder, but press a gentle kiss against the back of it. “Baby, go to sleep.”

He noticeably stiffens when a quiet whoosh sounds from another part of your house. “What the heck was that?” he asks from where his face is buried in the back of your neck, too afraid to look around and risk finding something he might not want to see.

“The dishwasher.”

“Y-Yeah,” he stammers, “the dishwasher... of course...” 

With a gentle groan, you lift your head so you can turn and press a gentle kiss against his forehead in an attempt to soothe him. As soon as you plop back down onto your pillow, Kuroo takes a deep breath and closes his eyes, desperate to get a wink of sleep.

The sound of a creak brings both of you to attention moments later, however, and your heart begins to race.

“That was the house settling... right?” you whisper.

He pulls the blanket over both of your heads, fully cloaking your bodies beneath it and says, “Yeah. Yeah. Let’s go with that.”

At this point, you realize it’s going to be a long night for reasons other than those you’d expected.

- The fact that we have gotten more character development for Cross in like 10 mins then we have the whole season is...interesting, but somehow it works. I'm not complaining by any means

- THE WAY I CALLED CROSS BEING ALL LIKE "IF MY BROTHERS WON'T SAVE ME I'LL JUST DO IT MYSELF"

- Direct shot from Omega! Look at her go! Echo must be so proud!

- THE THEME MUSIC WHEN CROSS STARTED HELPING THEM TAKE DOWN THE DROIDS!!!!!

- Hunter....growling....while talking down a murder bot....with only a knife....hmmmmmm

- He didn't get his chip out. There's no way. The Empire would never willing give up having control over him. Why would he say that? I'm not ok with this. That's it! Add that to the list of things that hurt my feelings

- Hunter finally being visibly worried about Cross...thank god we finally got something

- STUN ROUND!!!!! HE'S FINALLY COMING HOME!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

- For crying out loud Hunter, respectfully, just hug the damn child it's not that hard

-"You did the same for me." CALL BACK TO THE RYLOTH EPISODE

- Hunter doing the right thing and not second guessing the decision + Omega looking at him and acknowledging it is fantastic. It's such a brief moment but it's so important

- AND NOW THE THING THAT HURT MY FEELINGS THE MOST: THE DRAMATIC MUSIC AND THE SHOTS OF DIFFERENT PLACES AROUND THE CITY! like it's so beautifully done but also fucking hell they really did just blow that place up

- If Crosshair really did think the Empire cared about him, what's he gonna think when he finds out that they open fired on the city while he was still there?

So normally I do a "final thoughts" section at the end of these things, but I think I'm gonna save that for either after pt 2 or I honestly might just do a season wrap up later, so look for that next week.

But yeah this episode was so well written. A lot of it hurt my feelings, but I'm not mad ya know what I mean? Anyway this is gonna be a long week before pt 2...I'm already stressed out.

(PS thank the maker they announced that season 2 is happening because I don't think I could physically handle them pulling a Rogue One)
