I think the best thing about the live action One Piece trailer is that it made me feel like I was apart of the intended audience more so than a lot of trailers in the last several years if not maybe decades at this point because there weren’t any flashing lights, strobe lights, and the transitions between clips didn’t come too quickly or with a bright flash of light.

I mean like I’m not holding my breath about it. There will probably some scene somewhere I’ll have to look away and stuff, but like the trailer was so accessible to me. I can watch it even in the dark. I got to see all my East Blue faves and didn’t have to miss anything due to like intense lightning or a rapid succession of clips, etc...

It was so nice. Even the Barbie movie wasn’t this kind to people like me. It’s so nice to be included in something even if maybe it’ll only end up being this trailer in the long run.

the fact that they made it illegal to make ads louder than programs on tv in 2010 but haven't updated it to apply the same regulation to streaming. who do i have to call.

It's that time of year where I straight up cannot go in most stores and certainly can't be out after sunset. Why?

Flashy lights.

Halloween was bad enough. Now it's Xmas shit and most stores are now inaccessible to me due to my having epilepsy.

Why do y'all need to make the lights flash? Why do you need damn near strove light effects? How does this relate to Christianity? What form of Jesus encourages triggering seizures and migraines?

Okay uhm - I need to say this because I am noticing this a bit in the responses to Somerton's "Apology" video. Do people really think, just because ableism in the workplace is forbidden, that workplaces don't discriminate?

Even if insurance stuff covers your health issues, I won't put it past an employer to let you go with the made up argument it doesn't. Because non-epileptic people are generally very uncomfortable with seeing seizure activity and some of them will prioritize their comfort over sticking to anti-discrimination laws.

I think Somerton's video is full of BS, but I am even more uncomfortable with how happy people are to dismiss Somerton's medical history/symptoms, just so they can argue against him. As if people with disabilities can be absolved for being dicks by accepting their stated medical and discrimination history.

When you don't even have to do so to point out the harm Somerton's logic does?

I mean - I think it's warranted to question James' statements because of his complicated relationship with telling the truth, but I am just kind of bothered by how people argue "this could not have happened because laws/policies" No. Let it have happened. It makes his apology worse if you choose to believe him on this, trust me.

If our response to disabled people acting terrible (stealing other people's material and presenting it as your own), is to accuse said disabled people of lying about their symptoms and diagnosis, I think we are missing the point and problem.

so theres a thing my body does thats been happening more and more frequently

and i started debating with myself if it could be some kind of seizure, but since im awake and aware while it happens that didnt seem right and i usually passed it off as just uncontrolable stimming however because its been more frequent and getting worse i looked into it more

i found focal aware seizures are a thing

but ive never been diagnosed with epilepsy nor has anyone in my family that i know of

so im scared and not sure what else it could be nor how else to lookfurther into this

i feel sick again, my nerves are still a wreck lke the other day when i talked about feeling horrile and had issues with my legs, im still shaking and yeah it happened again between 3:30am and 4am-ish

i was laying on my back in bed while it happened, my body jerked forward and my head went back and it happened so suddenly i cut off my own air supply and choked for a second.

very likely this is being brought on my all the stress im under but it still terifies me, i cant sleep, and i have no clue what to do

A scrapped, unimplemented scene for the EA version of the game where Wyll contacts Mizora while she's captured.

I liked this scene because if you played as origin!Wyll, it appeared you could determine what sort of relationship he had with Mizora.

Also sad to see warlocks contacting their patron wasn't able to be implemented in the game as demo'd here.

As much as I only use this platform for enjoyment sometimes we all need to have a rant.

I'm not feeling good today and this is not by any means a pity post but more of an awareness one. We all talk to each other about our common interests and such which is great but sometimes it needs to be addressed that we might not be doing so great. Whether that be physical health, mental health. There's no shame in admitting that you're not ok, and today I'm not ok.

I have generalised and focal epilepsy, it is a neurological disorder that affects my life and how I live it from day to day. For any fellow sufferers (and I salute you) you will know just how much it sucks ass, and not in a good way!

This week has been full of highs and lows, from travelling and getting to enjoy a wonderful experience a few days ago to spending almost 24 hours completely incapacitated from a sudden onset of seizures.

Again, this is not for pity or sympathy.

The point is that we all have things in our lives that we struggle with at certain points and it's ok to talk about it.

So this is mine.

I have a neurological disability.

Feel free to talk openly here about anything that you find yourself struggling with, failing that my inbox is always open.

Let's support each other as much as we can because you never know who needs that little boost.

this epilepsy awareness month I'm challenging parents of epileptic (and other seizure having) children to NOT post videos of their kids having seizures online. The only reason they should even be taking these videos in the first place is for medical professionals or if the child wants to see what their seizures look like. Posting a child during an active medical episode on the internet is exploitative and icky, find a better way to raise awareness.

Watched episode 1. I had a lot of fun. Luffy, Nami, and Zoro have such a great dynamic together even though it's a different dynamic for the characters from the source material. I also laughed a lot sometimes because jokes but mostly because I was enjoying myself so much.

The best part though was there were no flashing lights. There was no over-stimulization. They weren't trying to give people like me a seizure at all. So rare. So special.

Hopefully this keeps up throughout the rest of the episodes.

i am very grateful that im not someone that has to deal with daily seizures but it is evil when it takes like a week and a half's worth of business days to recover from a seizure

I love having dreams that feel so entirely reasonable during the dream. Like even when I'm semi lucid it's like "yup this is realistic" until I get just a Little too aware of everything then it's like ah shit wait a minute.

Anyway I was completely convinced that we humans could communicate with each other via short range brain waves. Short distance telepathy only
