Why do some people think (I've seen it in TikTok) that Ali cannot be friends with Hyun Ju just because "HE'S A MUSLIM, HE CAN'T BE FRIENDS WITH A TRANS PERSON!!!" . Genuinely fck this people, I'm sorry, but this is straight BS.

For those who may not know, I'm a Muslim (not fully religious but still).

Islam teaches many people to be kind and respectful with everyone, even if you don't agree with them of what they are. (I know that Islam has some rules when it comes to LGBT, but it never EVER says to be horrible to them)

In my interpretation, Ali may be confused of what and why Hyun ju is doing it, but he's the kindest soul in the existence, ofc he would gladly be friends with Hyun Ju and protect each other. He would never EVER dare to say horrible stuff to her.

Hyun ju's death is honestly one thing I actually cannot move on at all... I don't know why. I've witnessed many of my favorite characters die, but I didn't cry much (maybe except what happened to TMNT?) but oh boy.... Hyun ju's death just still haunts me till this day... But at the same time, I want to break my silence.

Her death was absolute tragic. She was so happy that she found the exit and immediately went back to Geumja and Junhee to help them, only to be stabbed on a back brutally. What makes her death haunting? What makes it depressing but... actually meaningful? And sad?

First, we all know that she died is a body she hated. The body she didn't want and wanted to change. But at the same time...think about some good things.

She died at least knowing there were people who accepted and loved her. First one, Young Mi, the first ever person who accepted her as a woman, called her Unnie no matter what. And the first one to call her "beautiful". When Hyun ju heard these words, she felt emotional and broken cause she never heard anyone calling her beautiful. Young mi died because of Hyun ju's mistake of continuing the game and felt heartbroken and guilty and even in mingle, she didn't dare to move until 246 saved her. After the chaos, she immediately chose X to stop the games.

Then she was a sergeant, she taught many men how to use a gun like a professional. She's this strong and brave.

And in Hide and Seek, she killed two men, getting herself in danger just to protect Jun hee and Geumja.

Now what makes her death this emotional?

First of all, before all of it, she witnessed many things what women would go through, and it's Jun hee giving birth to a baby. Hyun ju helped Jun hee giving a birth to a baby. And when the baby was finally born, Hyun ju had to hold her. Even if it was only some minutes, it felt like something she could experience if she was a woman, a mother. She was happy seeing a baby, like a potential mother.

And when she died cause of her selflessness, Geumja approached her..anf gently patted her head and tucked her hair to show her earrings... it's a sign of respect and purity, showing that she died as a WOMAN. She died protecting women and died as ONE. And finally when grandma gentle closed Hyun ju's dead eyes....at least even in pain and sadness, she let her rest peacefully and respecting for everything she has done for them.

And the saddest part is that Geumja used to judged Hyun ju for her looks and existence. And now she gently patted her with her hands... I must have felt so warm and pure even on Hyun ju's dead cold body. She got the best character development for her and for everyone.

Either way, sg deaths were sad and depressing. But this one just still haunts me till this day. May the next world treat you better, Cho Hyun ju 💔

I want to thank Park Sung Hoon for beautifully portraying Hyun ju, he has done everything he could to to properly do the representation of an amazing trans character with an amazing writing and acting.
