OdyxPen kiddos + OdyxCirce bby! [WIP/Sketches)

Guys please understand these are 100% just for fun! I thought it would be a little fun to draw Telemachus and Telegonus together and then I was browsing Penelope’s wiki page (Ik ik it’s not the most reliable source but that’s not the point) and I saw that there is apparently a version where Odysseus and Penelope have another son after Ody returns named Poliporthes. That’s what made me think of drawing all of the kiddos together!

(I know there’s also a version where Poli is Telemachus and Nausicaa’s kid by this isn’t the same Poli)

My Nausicaä is a completely made up character b/c Odysseus is 100% a girl dad change my mind 😤

Nausicaä and Poliporthes are twins with Nausicaä being the older twin. Since Poli’s name means "destroyer of cities" and Nausicaä means “burner of ships” I felt they were similar/matching names. Also I figured it might be cute if Odysseus named his daughter in honour of Princess Nausicaa who was one of the few kind people he met on his journey home.

Telemachus’ design is an aged up version since he’s the eldest! I also like the idea of androgynous Telegonus so…androgynous Telegonus. Given who his mother is, I figured Telegonus happens to stay relatively young. Maybe Athena helps keep the others young-ish kind of like how she would sometimes make their parents look younger. 🤷🏻

Sometimes I make bracelets from natural stones for myself and friends. Now I wanted to make an Odysseus bracelet based on the key points of what is happening in Epic's 1st Act: The Horse and the Infant ->Warrior of the mind->Full speed ahead->Polyfemus~->Storm->Ruslessness->Puppeteer->The Underworld->No longer you.

It can be worn in a brighter color part on top, or vice versa. Stones used: garnet, carnelian, aquamarine, sodalite, apatite, prehnite and green agate

design notes:

- treble clefs for sirens

- wooden beads for ship

- tigers eye for general darkness of album cover/album itself

- ⚡️

- six (6) orange ambiguously shaped beads. tiny, a little pointy, almost like fire, almost like. torches
