Some random half baked ideas for Oddey's family, Poliporthes which in one version states is Telemachus's Brother, you could make an Epilogue AU where Oddey and Penelope finally get it on after 20 years.
Then we can have Telemachus falling in love with Nausicaa, and they have their son, Persepolis.

I finally finished all the kiddos!
I have a video on my tiktok (link in bio 😉) with little notes on all of them if anyone is interested, I just don’t feel like making another super long post. One thing that I will mention is the age order of the kids(
Telemachus is the oldest. He’s, approximately, in his mid-late 30’s
Telegonus is the second oldest. He’s, approximately, in his mid-late 20’s
Nausicaä and Poliporthes are twins and the third and fourth borns. They are both, approximately, in their mid-late teens with Nausicaä being a few minutes older than Poliporthes.

Okay so more content abt Telemachus!
After Odysseus returned, him and Penelope had another son called Poliporthes
My hc is that even though Telemachus loves his baby brother, he is also sad and a little jealous because Poliporthes will grow up with his father present in his life, and without suitors tormenting his life, basically living the childhood/life he always dreamt of. But ofc he is the best big brother ever, and is also happy that his little brother doesn't have to suffer the things he did
I also wanted to thank everyone for supporting me rn since i just started this account! 🤍🫶

Nausicaa's Serving Maids
Artist: Rupert Bunny (Australian, 1864-1947)
Date: c. 1926-1929
Medium: Oil on canvas
Collection: National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne, Australia
Nausicaa
Nausicaa, also spelled Nausicaä or Nausikaa, is a character in Homer's Odyssey. She is the daughter of King Alcinous and Queen Arete of Phaeacia. Her name means "burner of ships".
In Book Six of the Odyssey, Odysseus is shipwrecked on the coast of the island of Scheria (Phaeacia in some translations). Nausicaä and her handmaidens go to the seashore to wash clothes. Awakened by their games, Odysseus emerges from the forest completely naked, scaring the servants away, and begs Nausicaä for aid. Affected by the unfortunate hero, she gives Odysseus some clothes and takes him to the edge of the town. Keeping him secret, she goes ahead into town, telling him to go directly to Alcinous's house and make his case to Nausicaä's mother Queen Arete, the family's matriarch. Odysseus approaches Arete and wins her approval, and he is received as a guest by King Alcinous.
During his stay, Odysseus recounts his adventures to Alcinous and his court, a frame story for a substantial portion of the Odyssey. Alcinous then generously provides Odysseus with the ships that finally bring him home to Ithaca.
Nausicaä is young and beautiful; Odysseus says she resembles the goddess Artemis. She has several brothers. According to Aristotle and Dictys of Crete, she later married Odysseus's son Telemachus, and had one or two sons, Poliporthes or/and Persepolis.

Telemachus and Nausicaa as an OTP? According to Aristotle and Dictys of Crete, she later married Odysseus's son Telemachus, and had two sons, Poliporthes and Perseptolis.

*Looks around*
do you have any random facts / miscellaneous content of Ulysses or Ezra that you haven't shared? I have been thinking about these two a lot lately to help me get through school...
(TBH ANYTHING YOU HAVENT SHARED ABOUT ANY OF THE CORPOHEADS WOULD BE AMAZING I HAVE BEEN THINKING A LOT ABOUT THESE GUYS)
Sorry for all the asks about Novaturient... got me so invested 🥺
-Ulysses loving anon
HI ULANON!!! sure i have some stuff :)
ulysses has a contract with his gun, a colt walker, not unlike a magical girl contract.
his gun is loaded with bullets that are produced by an amalgamation of souls he's killed with the one exception of his mother's soul
his contract allows his normal weapon, which would normally be ineffective towards vagabonds, to completely annihilate vagabonds with the cost of his own soul is eaten every 7th bullet. the 7th bullet will also be an instant crit and will pierce through anyone (including people he cares about)
ok now for the stupid stuff about ulysses. he flirted with his doctor (nausicaa) in order to be allowed the go ahead to move around again after being hospitalized and then proceeded to go kill all of the squatters in penelope's home for her because she called him in the first time in decades outside of court proceedings and he is so down bad for her
he has 5 total children (telemachus, telegonos, nausinous, nausithous, poliporthes) and has been dumped 4 times 👍👍👍
ezra is probably the most business savvy our of the industrial heads, and would constantly be motivating/pressuring them to innovate so they wouldn't have to worry about losing their positions. aishire eventually snapped at ezra for being so pushy and told veraswamy to mutilate her face.
ezra disappeared for a five years before returning back to the industrial district as if nothing happened. she came back during a time where aishire was incredibly stressed out about project martyr's failings, and bezaliel got into controversies about rejecting artist's original work before their executives plagerizing that original work. bezaliel was deemed a liability, and so ezra suggested they get rid of bezaliel.
sorry about ezra's being so focused on what she did for other's tbh she really is a supporting character (supportive? absolutely not)

OdyxPen kiddos + OdyxCirce bby! [WIP/Sketches)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Guys please understand these are 100% just for fun! I thought it would be a little fun to draw Telemachus and Telegonus together and then I was browsing Penelope’s wiki page (Ik ik it’s not the most reliable source but that’s not the point) and I saw that there is apparently a version where Odysseus and Penelope have another son after Ody returns named Poliporthes. That’s what made me think of drawing all of the kiddos together!
(I know there’s also a version where Poli is Telemachus and Nausicaa’s kid by this isn’t the same Poli)
My Nausicaä is a completely made up character b/c Odysseus is 100% a girl dad change my mind 😤
Nausicaä and Poliporthes are twins with Nausicaä being the older twin. Since Poli’s name means "destroyer of cities" and Nausicaä means “burner of ships” I felt they were similar/matching names. Also I figured it might be cute if Odysseus named his daughter in honour of Princess Nausicaa who was one of the few kind people he met on his journey home.
Telemachus’ design is an aged up version since he’s the eldest! I also like the idea of androgynous Telegonus so…androgynous Telegonus. Given who his mother is, I figured Telegonus happens to stay relatively young. Maybe Athena helps keep the others young-ish kind of like how she would sometimes make their parents look younger. 🤷🏻

The tragic story💔 of Nausicaa: #Palaiokastritsa on Corfu🇬🇷 (Greek: #Παλαιοκαστρίτσα meaning Old Castle place, referring to nearby Angelokastro🏰) is a village in northwestern Corfu. It has been suggested to be the mythical island of the Phaeacians, and the bay of Palaiokastritsa to be the place where Odysseus disembarked and met #Nausicaa for the first time, in Homer's Odyssey. Nausicaa is the daughter of King Alcinous👑 and Queen Arete of Phaeacia. Her name means "burner of ships"🔥. In Book Six of the Odyssey, Odysseus is shipwrecked on the coast of the island of Scheria (#Phaeacia in some translations). Nausicaä and her handmaidens go to the seashore to wash clothes. Awakened by their games, Odysseus emerges👣 from the forest🌲 completely naked (that old Pervert!🤣), scaring the servants away, and begs Nausicaä for aid. She gives Odysseus some of the laundry to wear and brings him to the court to introduce to her dad, the King. During his stay, Odysseus as the adventurer he is, recounts his fascinating adventures to King Alcinous and his court. This recounting forms a substantial portion of the Odyssey. Alcinous then generously provides Odysseus with the ships that finally bring him home to #Ithaca. -- Nausicaä is young and very pretty; Odysseus says she resembles a goddess, particularly #Artemis. According to Aristotle and Dictys of Crete, she later married Odysseus's son Telemachus, and had a son, Poliporthes. Homer gives a literary account of love never expressed (possibly one of the earliest examples of #unrequitedlove in literature). Nausicaä is presented as a potential love interest for Odysseus: she tells her friend that she would like her husband to be like him, and her father tells Odysseus that he would let him marry her. But the two do not have a romantic relationship. But Nausicaä ensures his return home; her last words being "Never forget me, for I gave you life"... Ahwzzz! Unrequited love💔! Isn't it the hardest pain in the world😢? What do you think? (at Paleokastritsa Beach, Corfù, Greece) https://www.instagram.com/p/CDa9195peWj/?igshid=15ty87skgcogv

Potential Nausinous design 🫣🫣 Ngl, I used this as an excuse to try drawing locks for the first time 🤧
I’ve been debating on adding Nausinous and Nausithous (Odysseus’ sons with Calypso in some accounts) to my little “Odysseus kiddo au” thing I have playing in my head. I don’t want these two to look super similar to the other kiddo’s I’ve done mainly because I like the idea that Circe and Calypso’s sons look more like them than they do Odysseus because they’re goddesses.
I also just wanted to try my hand at making more POC characters so if anyone has tips/suggestions that could help me improve I’d greatly appreciate them!

Oh my I am so honored you felt inspired to draw! I really like how Laërtes looks in this one and Anticlea of course!
(Man Odysseus probably loves hanging out at the sun like...he definitely looks tanned hahahahaha 😆 )
Awww they create a family tradition then! Imagine how happy Odysseus would be if Telemachus gave him HIS baby to him to name if Odysseus was still alive at that point!
It seems that Aristotle mentions Telemachus married Nausicaa and had a son with her so imagine if that is the case the kinda awkward but relieved look on Odysseus's face when the wedding happens hahahahaha 😅 😆 apparently that son's potential name was Poliporthes (alternatively Ptoliporthes or Ptoliporthus) or Perseptolis (take your pick hehe ) which was also potentially the son of Penelope and Odysseus after he returned from Troy.
All of the above basically mean "Destroyer of Cities" or as we already know 😏 "Sacker of Cities" so imagine indeed Odysseus basically giving his epithet to his grandson as a name hahaha 😆
On a sadder note it also can be linked with the hypothesis that he is guilty about Troy (the notion I use in my fanfics too) so in a way he finally "lets go of his title" like he forgives himself for what happened in Troy.
Sorry random stuff hahaha

This post by the wonderful @katerinaaqu has not left my brain and I just HAD to draw it.

Nausicaä; Princess of Ithaca ✨
Tumblr media
I’m finally getting around to making my Odysseus kiddo ref sheets and we’re starting with Nausicaä! Hopefully this will get me to finish Nausithous and Nausinous‘ designs 😅 To make things easier on me, I’m turning the original 1/2 body shots I did originally for this set of OC’s and just making them full body shots. The original 1/2 body pose ref is by @mellon_soup!
Without further ado; here is Nausicaä, Princess of Ithaca and only daughter of Odysseus and Penelope. She was born following Ody’s return to Ithaca and the disposal of the suitors. She’s the elder twin sister to Poliporthes and is known to be the “voice of reason” for her brothers. She’s known for having a mix of her parent’s personalities, with her having Penelope’s wit and Odysseus’ cunning making her a force to be reckoned with. While she may be the voice of reason in most cases, she is known for being a mischievous girl who does enjoy a good prank/joke as long as it’s harmless. She has a fondness for things like music and poetry, making her a perfect match for my poet oc Iphimedeia. However, she is far from a damsel in distress type, you can’t convince me that Odysseus wouldn’t teach his daughter how to use at least a bow and arrow. With that in mind you also can’t convince me that Odysseus wouldn’t teach wouldn’t be a girl dad! Nausicaä could absolutely get this man to do anything she wants, change my mind 😤
I like to imagine Nausicaä gets along well with her full and half siblings. She’s grown up with them all in my au so it’s not like a sibling came out of no where. I also imagine the older boys (particularly Telemachus and Nausinous) being rather protective of their only sister. I do imagine that with so many siblings, there is a healthy amount of sibling rivalry and conflict from time to time but it’s nothing too concerning.

From what I've found it is attributed to Eugammon of Cyrene BUT it is officially the last part of the "Epic Cycle" from which Homer's works are best known... but it looks like each one is canonical!
Like, I found out in the meantime that in this whole mess Penelope and Telemachus are transported to the island of Circe and before the weddings she makes them immortal to???
But there are even better versions, ok! According to the wiki about Nausicaa, the girl who helped Odysseus get directly to Ithaca, we have this: "According to Aristotle and Dictys of Crete, she later married Odysseus's son Telemachus, and had one or two sons, Poliporthes or/and Persepolis". So hey, we can pretend Telegony never happened! Yeyyy...?
I remembered that the Odyssey had a sequel and while looking for Telemachus' canonical children (good luck with that) I came across Telegony and remembered about it.
Fuck.
If you want to hear about how Odysseus turns out to have a bunch of other children and then is murdered by his own son born of Circe - well, there you have it. Telegony! But hey hey, if you feel bad that OdyPen won't live long and happily because apart from that Telegonus, the main character and this son, brings body of his murdered father to Penelope and makes sure she doesn't grieve for long by MARRIES HER. And what does Telemachus do in the meantime? He marries Circe... Wow.
In reference to the Hellenistic tradition, I found that it is said that Circe brings Odysseus back to life, who tells Telemacus that he should marry his half-sister - Cassiphone, also from Ody and Circe. It generally does not work out because she kills him after Tel kills her mother. I do not know if this continuation is any better.
But yes, you know how Telegonus' journey began? With his mother tellinghim his father's name at the request of a god. And at the request of which god? Athena :)
