I don't know what is this AU tbh

My thought process was: what if Apollo was not recognized for any of his "good" attributes and only for the "bad" ones?. And here we are.

And then that merged with my idea of Zeus throwing Apollo into Tartarus as a baby for killing Python and if he had somehow survived and so on.

I only know that in this AU Apollo would not have as many children as in the canon because he would be a more creepy God.

Okay so, what I have so far about this au is:

After murdering Python Apollo ascends to Olympus and Zeus, after complaints from Gaea about the murder of her son, decides to punish him by throwing him into Tartarus. The difference with the original timeline is that in this version Leto fails to persuade him to change the punishment and throw Apollo into the mortal world.

So baby Apollo ends up being thrown into Tartarus by Zeus.

After that he has to spend the next nine years wandering around Tartarus until he somehow manages to get out of it.

So basically it was like...

Yes, I hate almost all Greek mythology adaptations, including Percy Jackson!! for their inaccuracy and lack of nuance when it comes to the source material and inaccuracies when it comes to the gods Apollo specifically

Anyways, I wanted to just, share a few headcanons of mine for the PJO stuff soooo

Headcanons

Apollo is actually a cat person, he likes dogs, but he also very much enjoys the company of cats. That's why the cats always get the best sun spots to lay in.

Artemis is a dog person, she has some dogs that join her in hunting whenever she needs some time away from her hunters. (All of them are the good puppy)

Apollo and Ganymede get along surprisingly well despite some tension and weird conversations. Apollo (Post-TOA) feels a lot more guilty in not being able to protect the god, for he was a youth when he was kidnapped by Zeus. Which is a fate he wouldn't wish on anyone. (Apollo is also "A protector of young boys" as Artemis is the same for young girls)

Zeus is such an ass (wait, that's canon, sorry!)

Dionysus can't get even close to drunk, he just likes the taste of the fine wines and the burning feeling of the mass amount of alcohol that he drinks.

Dionysus a lot of the times wished he had the ability to get drunk with the amount of bullshit that happens both at Olympus and at camp.

Hermes owns a tortoise and honestly doesn't need to make it immortal yet cause of how long they live.

Apollo, Hermes and Aphrodite sometimes (when they are getting along lol) have tea time, as in like, literal tea and gossip.

Zeus is an as- wait I think I said this?-

Ares bakes, not necessarily to eat, but because despite how he may act he deeply cares for his demigod(and amazon) daughters. So he sends them a gift basket as long as they promise to never toll his sons.
