fireflies: how do you light up your f/o's life?

Ruu likes to think it's in the little things, remembering his favorite foods, helping him sort his meds for the week, picking up new volumes of their favorite comics on her way home, staying up with him while he grades assignments. There's a million little things she does for him day to day and a million he does in return, Ruu's favorite though is definitely surprising him with new comic books or a movie night in~

cozy sweater: how does your f/o make you feel secure and safe?

More than anything Toshi's consistency and presence make Ruu feel safe and secure. Even without his powers it's the promise that he will be there for her when she needs him that comforts her in the most trying of times. She's afraid of abandonment more than almost anything else and so his commitment, especially his verbal reassurance, to being with her really keeps her level.

bonfire: what's one thing your f/o has done to warm your heart?

Probably one of the sweetest things Toshi ever did for Ruu, and one of the things that made her realize he was really the one, was when she woke up with a nasty cold and he insisted she stay home and take care of herself while he dealt with her day to day things. He took her daughter's to school for her, brought her udon for lunch, brought her girls home and even went and did the grocery shopping since it happened to be their usual grocery day. Usually she would've just slapped on a mask and powered through but he was fretting so much she couldn't turn down his help. She felt so truly loved that day~
