꒰ armin takes his pretty girlfriend on a picnic in an enchanted forest.꒱
🫧 𐀔 . . . 1.4k. fem!reader, lowercase intended, established relationship, sub / dom, profanity, pet names, unprotected penetrative sex, we’re in luvvv, outside indecency, love bites, praise, kinda shy reader, smoking, kreampie, minors aren’t welcomed ! reblogs + comments are appreciated! <3
꒰ 𝑚𝑜𝑐ℎ𝑎’𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡𝑒 ꒱ . . . this been in the drafts since 2022 y’all. a lil sum.
Tumblr media
a pastel baby blue dress clings tight to your smooth skin, looking like the prettiest cottage core girl. frills on the shoulders and bust sitting low to accentuate your perky chest. love handles and tummy pudge swallowed by the soft material. armin couldn't keep his eyes, or hands, to himself. rubbing all up on you throughout your entire picnic date. fresh air blows through the trees and the bright views of sunlight beam across the blue lake where pure white doves swam in silence. armin had found this mythical location by driving around one day. it's quiet and reserved, deep into an enchanted forest.
the two of you sat on a blanket sprawled out on the grass, enjoying the food armin neatly packed. lots of fruits because you loved them. strawberries, raspberries, pomegranates, green grapes, apricots, and peaches . . . you name it. overdoing it just a bit, but he knows it’ll be eaten by this week. this was breakfast, the time now around eleven in the morning, so while you got ready he prepped the food. heart shaped pancakes, waffles, turkey bacon, pork sausage, scrambled cheese eggs and of course never forgetting your orange juice.
to make it cuter he brought a glass vase and filled it with water and multicolor roses he bought from the flower shop. you ate so much food your stomach bloated, unable to eat anymore. armin lays on his back with you to stare up at the sky and watch the trees blow, the weather perfect for the occasion. the sun hitting your skin serenely. you rest your head on armin’s chest, listening to his heartbeat as he massages your back in gentle circles, nearly falling asleep because you’re so at peace.
“i’m so glad we did this,” a yawn escapes as you smile sweetly at him, rubbing his stomach over his white tee.
armin presses a gentle kiss to your forehead, lingering it before mumbling, “me too.” soon, digging into his jean pocket to pull out a pack of cigarettes. tapping the plastic box to release a stick. your body moves with the forearm he brings together to light his cig, flicking the lighter twice and satiating his need.
“i needed a break from life. so, thank you, love.” the softness in your voice makes the man's heart beat twice as fast. he smiles at you after turning his head the opposite way to blow out smoke, knowing you hated it in your face. being at close proximity right now was less irritating since you're elated at the moment. you could care less because he's comfortable, and it makes you feel the same. you could never get him to quit no matter how hard you tried. never argued with him about it. minor debates but he gave valid points so you laid off it.
“i figured it'd be nice to escape for the day. it's upsetting we have to return to reality tomorrow. but when i'm with you, it always feels . . . free.”
armin brushes a curved knuckle over your cheekbone, your eyes glued to his own.
“i feel the same way.”
“i say i love you all the time. but do you really understand it? how deep it is?”
you curl your lips inward, pondering on his question. more like a statement.
“i know you love me. you show it more ways than one. i think that's meaningful overall.”
fluffy blond hair with gold hues covers his angelic baby blue eyes, reaching up to tuck some of the wavy ringlets behind his ear.
“tell me you love me, then gimme a kiss.”
your face grows hot from his demand, growing nervous. you sit up briefly to grab a peach to bite into and distract yourself, more like hide your face because you were smiling so hard. this happens to be the second time since he's first told you he loved you. it makes you shy even still, the rush of heat coming to your cheeks from the intense glare he gives you, waiting for you to say it. you don't know why it felt so hard to utter. it's clear you love him, but maybe it was the large commitment of the word . . . the vulnerability, the devotion, the forever tie that scared you.
"tell me you love me, or i'll make you say it, ꒰♡꒱ ."
and make you he does.
his breath is warm on your neck, tongue following to lick a bold stripe over your skin with his fingers indented into the flesh of your cheeks and jaw. your face is upturned, head resting on his shoulder, back to his chest as you rely on his body for your balance. your thighs are spread wide, holding yourself open with your unoccupied hand, gripping under the bend of your knees, whimpering in the breezy air as his hips interact with the round of your ass, fucking you from the side fervidly. his moans are light, dancing in your ear while you claw into the picnic blanket beneath you two, clutching the grass and dirt in the wake. tuning into the lewd interaction of his heavy dick pounding into you, tits bouncing out of the enclosure of your dress.
“i can’t hear you, ꒰♡꒱,” armin grits his teeth, his lips on your jaw now, kissing away and grunting as he raises his hips to fuck you deeper, thrusts steady but rough. you’re feeling dizzy, whining from the baritone of his voice. “i didn’t make myself clear enough?”
“n-no. . . ar—min. mmph,” while denying, there’s a crack in your voice as you try your best to speak, moans rumbling in your throat, your tummy jiggling from his harsh pace.
“then tell me, tell me,” armin’s voice is a whispered plead, his jeans to his knees and his shirt pulled up to his midsection, skin scorching against your own.
you’re soft, and small. his big hand with veins protruding goes from your face to your chest, tweaking your nipples that spilled out of it’s cups alluringly, before spanking them with the pads of his fingers. tweak, spank, tweak, spank. it’s a notion that has you drooling, and sobbing pathetically. he’s trying to upkeep his composure, trying not to bottom out and lose his sanity. you’re too cute.
“i love youuu,” you finally cry out, ragged moans falling out in shorts gasps, tears coaxing and the pressure in your tummy building.
“fuck, there you go, sweetie,” his excitement shows through the way his dick slips out of you, both of you gasping from the loss until he slaps your clit with his dick, your juices sputtering out of you with each wet pat pat pat. armin draws his hips back slightly before sliding back inside easily, digging his fingers into the back of your thigh you held up and rolled his waist to fuck you harder.
each pound is harder than the previous, his jaw widening as he chokes on his moans and catches your throat with his mouth, tongue lolling out occasionally and his teeth following suit. your head is tossed back entirely, his arm going around your shoulder to cradle you, falling back on the ground. your thighs press tightly together, and you hold onto his arm while his middle and ring fingers thrum intricately over your puffy clit to watch her squirt.
armin hisses with skaken moan. “say it again, ꒰♡꒱.”
“i love you, armin.”
“again,” he’s biting at your neck again, your mouth agape from the combination of that and the head of his dick kissing your sweet spot.
“b-baby, g-god. i love you.”
“ooh, shit,” armin then pushes your left thigh flat to the ground, your body twisted as he goes to level himself above you in push up form, dropping his dick into you with steady, hard pounds. his voice grows weak, moans whiny as he cums deep inside of you, and you follow not long after, squeaking and clutching onto his wrist planted by your head. the softness of your ass bouncing back onto his hips is entrancing. his ass flexing when he grinds into your pussy.
“oh my god,” those pretty strands of blond sway in front of his face, giggling and lowering his body to rest his chest on your side. repeatedly leaving kisses to your flushed cheeks, neck, even your forehead. unable to move at all.
“i really love you, i swear,” the pads of your fingers brush over his pink lips, overly sensitive at the moment so you definitely felt like crying. a high pitched hiccup interrupts the moment, and that only makes armin roll his lips inward before bursting out a laugh.
“you’re so cute,” he gives you an eskimo kiss before smooching your lips. “i know you do.”

Tumblr media
the weather was unforgiving.
scorching sun rays beat down on the farm, baking the golden dead grass and drying out the small creek on the outskirts of the perimeter. it was rather unusual for a jackson summer. and it did nothing but inflate your attraction toward the woman who currently hauled large hay bales into the barn.
dressed in a pair of low-rise jorts, her typical high-top converse, and a cream wife-beater, ellie wiped sweat from her forehead with a scowl, face twisted in the bright light. the rise of her arm lifted her shirt, exposing a sliver of the toned abdomen she hid most days. as she caught your eye, spotting you peeking at her from behind the book you were trying to busy yourself with, she sent a cheeky smile, enjoying the way you scurried to cover your face with the novel.
you preoccupied yourself on the back porch, trying and failing to focus on the words that swam on the page of your book. the wicket lounge chair was stiff and the towel under you itched your back, rubbing against the skin that wasn’t covered by the skimpy bikini you had chosen to wear in favor of the hot weather. yet it wasn’t the weather that made you flush and squirm restlessly, your focus settled elsewhere.
“what’re you readin’?”
brows shooting to your hairline, you glanced up at ellie, who had approached without you realizing.
she licked her chapped lips in anticipation, silhouette blocking out the sun.
shaking your head, you sat up straight. “nothing good, to be honest,” you said, avoiding her heavy gaze by flipping the novel over and pretending to look over the back.
she nodded, peeling off the carhartt gloves she wore. reaching for the iced lemonade on the small table next to you, she said before drinking, “so then it’s not one of the smutty books that you enjoy. got it.”
you coughed at her words, choking on your own saliva with widened eyes. perhaps i misheard her, you thought immediately, swallowing down more sputters and croaking out a rough, “what?”
ellie peered at you with a look of amusement. she was certain she had been clear, but that didn’t stop her from repeating her point. “the books you like to read. they’re all just smut. is this one not?”
heart thumping against your ribcage, you gulped. “no.”
even to you it sounded like a shitty lie.
“‘no’…?” she drawled, eyebrows raising with skepticism.
“they’re not all smut, ellie,” you told her defensively, face scrunching as you stiffened on the chair.
the woman in front of you looked mildly unconvinced, but she shrugged regardless. “whatever you say, babe.”
growing uninterested in the novel you were reading thanks to ellie, you set it on the small table beside the chair and watched the woman as she chugged the rest of her drink. “don’t you think it’s a little…inappropriate to call me that?”
ellie set down her glass, fisting her gloves in a hand before crossing her arms above her chest. for a split second you could see a glimpse of the woman you used to call your girlfriend. that is until she fucked you over and confessed that she thought she had feelings to dina. now look at her—single and working as a farmhand on your father’s farm. call it karma or fate, you didn’t know, but you’d be lying if you said you didn’t like her reappearance in your life.
“no,” she started, her eyes gleaming with defiance, “i don’t think it’s inappropriate. i call everyone that.”
there was no hiding the clear confusion on your face as you sat up and said, “no, you definitely don’t. pet names were never really your thing, els.”
“well, maybe i’ve changed. we haven’t seen each other in awhile, you know. a lot can happen.” her words sounded indolent, showing no effort to be convincing.
scoffing, you rolled your eyes and swung your legs over the edge of the chair. “whatever. i’m going inside, it’s too hot out here.”
“you going to the party tonight?” ellie asked abruptly, her indifferent facade shedding like old skin. “the one being held in the dancehall?”
you gripped the edge of the furniture, angling your head to look up at her. she wants me to go, you realized quickly. that desperate expression of hers made it quite obvious. “of course i’m going.”
it wasn’t a lie, but it also wasn’t the truth. you hadn’t intended on going until she said something.
at your response, she nodded, beginning to put her gloves back on. “i guess i’ll see you there then.”
“i suppose so.”
Tumblr media
she arrived at your door at 7 p.m. sharp.
and, hell, she looked sharp.
the way her brown button up-flannel molded perfectly with her lean figure, faded jeans accentuating the acute curve of her hips, the stressed ends brushing against the dark brown of her cowboy boots. you were practically drooling at her exposed forearms, long sleeves rolled to her elbows. and, of course, the cherry on top had to be the black cowboy hat decorating the crown of her head, shading her face from the sinking sun behind her.
you mentally cursed your father for hiring ellie williams.
“what’re you doing here?” you asked keenly, adjusting your stance in the doorway.
she looked at you as if you had said something in another language, trying (and failing) to not look down at the small top and pajama shorts you wore . “i’m here to pick you up. figured you wouldn’t want to go to the party alone.”
you stared at her for a moment. she was right, of course. parties had never really been your idea of fun. the only time you ever went was when one of your friends could talk you into going. “come in, then. i need to finish getting dressed; shouldn’t take too long.”
ellie stepped inside cautiously, gingerly removing her hat and placing it on a nearby hook, like she was waiting for you to change your mind about the whole thing. but you didn’t, only shutting the door behind her and gesturing for her to follow you up the steps and into your bedroom. somewhere she had been oh-so-many times before the breakup.
the arid air was filled with tension, so thick that a knife would have to roughly saw its way through just to slice it.
you played off your uncomfort by sitting at your vanity calmly (definitely not forgetting that ellie had built this piece of furniture for you as a present for a past birthday), and grabbed the already-open tinted lip balm. the tin was cool in your palm as you dipped your finger in and then applied the sweet salve to your puckered mouth.
ellie watched from afar, unsure of where she should be as she waited, not wanting to break a boundary. if there even were boundaries to be broken.
she watched you diligently, eyes never leaving your mouth. she couldn’t help but gulp when you turned to her expectantly, asking her, “do i look fine?”
“you look as party-ready as you’ll ever be.” what she really wanted to say was, you look better than ‘fine.’ you always have, though she held her tongue reluctantly.
you gave her a curt nod, somewhat disappointed by her dry-ass remark. whatever. you’d mess with her later, after you’ve had a few drinks perhaps.
so, dropping the lip product into a drawer, you stood, pushing the stool back under the vanity before walking over to your wardrobe. the faded red wood had once gleamed when golden hour would come around, but with time its shine had dulled and the cabinet doors squeaked.
with a heavy breath, you sighed and pulled the round handles, exposing a plethora of clothes. as your eyes scanned your dresses, an idea sparked in your mind. you looked over your shoulder, finding ellie’s neutral gaze. “come pick out something for me to wear.”
her eyebrows flickered upward, slightly startled by your request. “but wouldn’t that be-”
“be what?” you interrupted, feigning a confused expression. “i’m just asking you to pick out a dress for me.”
the corners of ellie’s mouth turned south, and you ignored her when she muttered, “you didn’t ask, you demanded.”
you stepped out of her way, giving her the space to go through her options. however you didn’t miss the way she licked her lips, once again glancing at your pajama-clad figure before turning her attention to the open wardrobe.
the room was quiet, energy shifting ever so slightly from awkward to familiar. tension changing into something a little more…enticing as you waited for her decision regarding your outfit.
there was no hiding your smile when she pulled out a plain black mini dress with thin spaghetti straps, its neckline low. ellie had fucked you in that dress way too many times to count; it aroused something low in your stomach.
“good choice,” you teased, grabbing the article of clothing from her.
her expression heeded no hint as to what she was feeling, but with many years spent by her side, you had some idea of her internal gay panic. she could only hide it so well around the people who knew her best.
you placed the dress on your bed before dropping your pajama shorts to the floor, provoking a sharp inhale from the auburn-haired woman behind you.
“what the hell?!” ellie immediately seethed, her eyes averting your body as she spun to face your wardrobe.
you scoffed before ridding yourself of your shirt as well, suddenly feeling even more pleased with yourself for not wearing a bralette. “oh please, you’ve seen my body too many times to count.” rolling your eyes, you grabbed the dress and slipped it on, thankful for the absent zipper that was often prominent in similar pieces.
ellie eventually gave in and turned around, vaguely relieved to see that you now had something covering your body. she was unsure of what she would have done had you stayed undressed for an extended amount of time, her hands itching to run their familiar course on your bare figure.
“are you done staring?” you asked her ardently, adjusting the fabric of the dress as you narrowed your gaze at her.
“yes.” her answer was clipped, yet you didn’t say anything further. she was determined to avoid your jarring gaze.
you raised your chin slightly, observing her for a split second. her hands fisted and flexed by her sides, although she was definitely trying to hide it. she was dying for makeup sex just as you were. however there was no way you were going to let her know that, at least not right now. you wanted to manage to get out of the house first: wanted to see if her nerves would die out and be replaced with the cockiness she sported like armor.
“let’s go then,” you finally said, “don’t want to keep people waiting.”
ellie nodded curtly, making no fuss as she followed you out of the room and down the flight of stairs, her boots clacking with each step.
when you reached the bottom, you reached for your own set of boots by the door, their cream color worn with each wear. you pulled them on as ellie grabbed her hat, opened the door for you, and dramatically held her arm out.
unable to hide an amused grin, you linked your elbow with hers, letting her guide you out of the house and to shimmer, who grazed on a plot of grass by the front porch. as ellie untied the reins and pulled herself up, you watched the way her body moved fluidly and adjusted her person on the western-style saddle.
she offered her hand, lips pulling into a charming smile. “come on, sweet girl.”
trying to suppress your grin, you grabbed her hand and placed your foot in a stirrup, a little too eager for the feel of ellie’s strong back against your front.
Tumblr media
“just sit and look pretty, i’ll be right back.”
ellie had left to go grab drinks from the bar almost the second the two of you had entered the dancehall. and you were thankful, unsure that you’d be able to keep up your teasing facade without a little bit of something in your system.
when you spotted her, two red cups in hand, you exhaled heavily, muttering a ‘thanks’ and taking your drink. you didn’t waste any time before downing the brown liquid that burned all the way down your throat.
“hey, take it easy, baby,” ellie remarked, concern etching her features. she eased the cup from your hands, her eyebrows furrowed with faint worry. “there’s plenty of time to get drunk; no need to rush.”
as you swallowed the last bit of booze-flavored saliva on your tongue, you shifted ineptly. there went your attempt to spur your courage. great.
“ellie,” you said cautiously, eyes glued to the cluster of bodies on the dance floor and trying to ignore the way your breath was growing uneven. you toyed with the locket around your neck, mustering what bravery you had hidden.
“yes?”
“i think coming here, together, was a bad idea.”
your words had struck something in the woman next to you, and you watched from your peripheral as she tried to understand your statement. ellie looked wounded. a simple ‘why?’ was all she could manage to convene, the cups in her hands crinkling ever so slightly.
gaze finally sliding to meet hers, you said, “because all i’ve wanted to do since you showed up at my doorstep was kiss you.”
there was no telling where you had gotten the balls to say something so blunt, but boy did it feel good. you had missed ellie a lot, and you somehow managed to miss her even more the day your father had hired her as his farmhand. maybe it was because, while she had appeared in your life once more (after nearly a year of her staying in jackson), she wasn’t in your life; you were lucky if a conversation flowed between your awkward persons, still trying to make out what you were to one another.
“fuck,” ellie drawled, turning her back to the crowd. she shoved the drinks onto a nearby table, her stature tense. “you can’t just say things like that.”
you bit the inside of your cheek, moving closer to her. “why not?” your voice was unintentionally low.
ellie’s eyes, blazing like green fire, found yours. she turned to face you, hot breath mingling with yours as you exhaled in anticipation of her words.
“because it makes me want to do more than just kiss you.”
without thinking, you grabbed the front two belt loops of her jeans, not wasting a moment to second guess anything, and pulled her front against yours, lips instantly crashing with hers. as you fervently kissed ellie, her hands settling on your love handles, you hummed in satisfaction. this is exactly what you wanted—and you had wanted it from the moment she started working on your family’s farm.
ellie’s mouth moved against yours, just as desperate as you felt. when she pulled away, her breath heavy, she muttered, “let’s take this somewhere else.”
you nodded, dazedly staring at her lips before she grabbed your hand and turned, leading you both through the maze of people. your thoughts were muddled in your mind, too entranced by the situation to notice that she had led you, hurriedly at that, to the bathroom. she pushed open the door, ushering you inside, with a hand on the curve of your spine.
before you could even utter a word, some chippy remark you’d already forgotten, ellie was on you.
“was this your plan all along?” she asked, her breath fanning over the skin of your jawline, body caging you against the counter of the sink. “to mess with me until i snapped and gave in?”
swallowing thickly, consumed by the feeling of ellie’s hands and mouth, you let out a strained whine. your fingers found the strands of hair at her nape, tugging as if to answer her question. yes, obviously.
a guttural sound left her throat at your wordless response, her fingers trailing down, searching for the place she knew you wanted her most. but just as she dipped her hand under the hem of your panties, your skin hot under her touch, she leaned in, lips ghosting the shell of your ear.
“you’re going to have to earn whatever it is you want.”

Tumblr media
If you could go back, would you change what happened?
This is something that you often ask yourself.
You think about that fateful day frequently. It was the summer before your first year at Merlin Academy. You had finally convinced your parents, the famed mermaid Ariel and her Prince Eric, to let you go for a swim unsupervised. Being half-mermaid, half-human allowed you to transform back and forth at will. And although life on land was pretty good, your heart always ached to go back to the sea, to feel the cold, salty water as it engulfs you. To race along the reefs, tail swishing back and forth, allowing you to reach speeds far past what your human form can do. To leisurely swim amongst the many species of fish and plants that created the world of the ocean. To go back home.
Your parents had already gone over the rules with you hundreds of time, to the point where you could recite each one of them word for word: “Don’t go past the boundaries,” “Don’t approach any animals you don’t know,” “Don’t go so deep where you can’t see any light,” “Come out at the first sign of bad weather,” and, most importantly, “Do not, under any circumstances, interact with any humans.”
Your mother may be renowned for rescuing a stranger from the unrelenting grasps of the sea—if she hadn’t, you wouldn’t even be here right now—but that was a very rare case. Far more often than not, mermaid interactions with humans out on the waters ended up in the mermaid being tortured, held hostage, or even killed.
You knew the rules by heart, and yet, maybe it was because of your young age, you still broke them. You weren’t really aware of your actions in the moment; one second, you were swimming alongside a pod of dolphins, racing against the currents. The next, you heard loud voices and realized that almost directly above you, yet still a good few dozen meters away, was some sort of ship.
You had ducked down next to a big sponge, peering up apprehensively. It was at that moment you realized that you were far outside of the boundaries set for you by your parents. You should have turned back, should have swam back home, but there was something about the ship, something that intrigued you so much it forced you to stay in place.
A few moments passed, and seeing as there was no commotion, you let your curiosity get the better of you. After all, that ship shouldn’t even have been out there. Slowly, you crept closer and closer to the surface, making sure to remain in the shadows. The noises were becoming clearer; you could make out people’s voices now. But they still weren’t sharp enough for you to understand what they were saying.
Finally, you took the risk and poked your head out of the water near the rear of the ship. The sight before you elicited a sharp gasp, and made you wish you had just gone back when you still had the chance.
Extended from the side of the ship was a long, wooden plank. Standing on one side of it (the safe end), was a man, gagged, blindfolded, and bound. He looked to be no older than forty, with a scraggly beard and ripped clothes.
A pirate.
Another figure emerged, walking to the edge of the deck. Your reflexes caused you to duck down quickly, so only your eyes were barely above the water. This figure was much younger, with dark brown hair parted neatly and angular features twisted into a wicked smile. He donned a maroon blazer that covered a white shirt with an upturned collar. Something in his left hand shined brilliantly under the sun’s bright rays.
The younger figure laughed, but not in the way one would laugh at a funny joke. He unsheathed a cutlass from his side, using it to poke the back of the man on the plank.
“You see, Mr. Jones? This is what happens when you cross the most feared pirate captain in all the lands!” the young figure roared as he yanked off the older man’s blindfold, revealing to him his fate. The fear and panic that spread across the man’s face has been forever etched into your mind, even to this day.
You heard the man beg and plea for mercy, watched as every move he made caused the plank to sway even more violently. The pirate captain simply laughed, his crew along with him. Finally, when you suppose he tired of hearing the man grovel, you watched in terror as the captain gave the man a good kick in the back, finally sending him over the edge.
Suddenly, it was like the world was spinning in slow motion. The man plummeting off the wooden platform, falling, falling, falling. His screams muffled by the cloth around his mouth. Then, all too soon, he made contact with the water with a loud splash.
He sank quickly, devoured by the ocean’s waters within the blink of an eye. Your young, distraught face watched as a few bubbles rose to the surface. Then nothing. All that remained of the man’s existence, all there was to give proof that he had ever even been there, were a few ripples in the water.
That was it.
You were frozen in shock. How–what–why? Your brain could barely string together a comprehensive sentence. All you were sure of was the feeling inside you. You couldn’t quite put it into words, could barely even understand it. But it made your tail ache to move, made you feel as if you simply couldn’t stay in one place any longer.
You dove beneath the surface, frantically swimming towards the direction where you saw the man go under. You kept looking around, searching, but to no avail. You decided to dive deeper, swimming lower and lower until the water around you was near pitch-black. You were growing more and more panicked by the second, because every second you wasted was another second the man grew closer to death.
Finally, you caught a glimpse of movement out of the corner of your eye. Hope flaring, you darted towards it, the figure becoming clearer the closer you got.
It was him.
You reached out and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt to prevent him from sinking farther. His eyes were shut and he wasn’t breathing, but you could still hear a heartbeat. There was still time left.
Wrapping your arms around him, you started the difficult journey back to land. Thankfully, you knew of a small island not too far from here. Swimming with the added weight of a fully grown man was incredibly difficult, especially for a young mermaid, but you persisted. After all, this was his life on the line.
You swam as hard as fast as you could, and thankfully, by some blessing from the heavens, found a warm water current going the direction you were. You let it carry you, the rushing stream multiplying your efforts. Finally, after what seemed like hours but must have only been a couple of minutes, you reached the island.
Letting the wave wash you up on shore, you settled the man down on the soft sand the first chance you got. You rolled him to his front, which was quite the endeavor itself. His heartbeat had grown more shallow, but it was still there. There was still hope.
Using the skills your mother had taught you, you started to nurse the man back to health using your melodic voice. Ever since you were young, she had explained to you the gift bestowed upon mermaids, the power of healing through song. She taught you to sing before you could walk, and it was the one thing that you were sure you could do right.
As you sang your strange and melodious tune, it finally occurred to you that you were breaking the most sacred of rules. Not only were you interacting with a stranger, you were coaxing him back to life. Like mother, like daughter, you thought. I suppose healing strangers who were drowning at sea runs in my blood.
The only caveat to your healing powers is that it takes quite some time to have its full effects. You don’t know how long you sat on the beach, but it had been quite some time. You probably would have been there for much longer had it not been for the boom voice that sounded behind you, waking you from your trance of song.
“Well, I’ll be. If it isn’t a mermaid.”
You practically jumped out of your fins as you turned around, startled beyond words. There, towering above you, was the evil pirate captain you saw earlier. He was even younger than you had previously thought. In fact, he couldn’t be much older than you. You wondered for a fleeting moment how a kid like that could command an entire ship full of grown—and scary-looking—men, but decided you have bigger matters at hand to worry about.
A few members of his crew lurked behind the captain, and you could see a small lifeboat docked to the ground near the coastline. Further beyond that, his ship swayed in the ocean waves, dark against the bright horizon.
You followed the pirate’s gaze down to your tail, which was still out. You silently cursed yourself for forgetting to transform back into your human form, being too distracted by saving the man to pay attention to your own safety.
You wanted to yell at the cruel pirate for trying to kill this man. No matter who he was, what he had done, he didn’t deserve to die. At least not like that. But the words got caught in your throat, so while a war raged inside your mind, you were completely quiet on the outside, simply staring up at the man with wide doe eyes.
“You have a lovely voice,” the man said, with a tone that you wouldn’t quite imagine a killer using. He must have overheard me sing earlier, you thought to yourself. “Tell me, little mermaid, who taught you to sing?”
“M-my mother,” you replied weakly, your voice far more meager and small than you wanted it to be. You were still staring up at him, afraid of what he’d do to you.
“Your mother? Well, that’s quite interesting.” The captain raised his left hand to scratch at his chin, which is when you realized that it wasn’t a hand at all. Instead of a hand was a curved metal hook, with a sharp point gleaming at the end. So that must be the shiny thing I saw earlier, you thought.
“Oh, where are my manners?” laughed the pirate abruptly. “My name is Captain James Hook, leader of the Jolly Roger. And you are?”
You blinked, almost forgetting your own name. If it were a less tense moment than this, you would have laughed at the fact that his name is rather befitting for him. “Y/N,” you respond.
“Y/N…Now, where have I heard that name before?” He tapped his chin with his hook again.
“Sir, that’s the name of Princess Ariel’s daughter,” one of the big, meaty pirates behind him answered in a gruff voice.
“That’s right!” Hook exclaimed. “You’re the mermaid’s daughter. You know, rumor has it you’ll be joining me at Merlin’s Academy in the fall, is that right?”
For some reason, your voice seemed to not work anymore, so you settled for nodding. Join him? you pondered. You didn’t know that he was also a student at the school you were planning to attend.
Hook started pacing along the beach, arms crossed with his hooked hand extended, deep in thought. You watched him, fear growing by the second. A sly smirk spread across his face, which only served to fuel the flames of your worry.
“You know, you directly defied my command by saving that man,” he started. Slowly. Deliberately. Choosing every word precisely and carefully, like a shark circling its prey. “Do you even know why I made him walk the plank?” You shook your head no, the panic in you reaching record heights.
“That man”—he vaguely gestures towards the unconscious body laying on the beach with his hook—“stole an entire week’s worth of rations from my ship. An entire week’s worth of food and rum for an entire crew. Had he gotten away with it, we likely would have starved to death out at sea. Does he seem so innocent now, little mermaid? So worth saving?”
Again, you shook your head no. Although you agreed he definitely wasn’t an innocent man, you still didn’t see making him walk the plank a justifiable punishment. Despite your thoughts, you kept your mouth shut. Angering the captain further was not going to do you any good.
“Now, if anyone else had done something like this, I wouldn’t hesitate to cut their head right off,” Hook said menacingly, and with a swish, unsheathed his sword once again. You flinched—hard—and scrambled to back away from him.
Hook took note of this, and, sheathing his sword, crouched down to get on the same level as you. “But don’t worry, little mermaid. I won’t hurt you. You see, you’ve piqued my interest. Plus, it would do me no favors to have a little girl’s blood on my hands.”
You let out a breath you hadn’t even realized you were holding. So he’s not going to kill me, right?
“But, alas, you can’t leave unpunished, now, can you?” he added. Your eyes grew impossibly wider, your entire body shaking in fear. This was it. He was going to kill you, or do something equally worse.
“I demand”—you already felt a tear slip down your cheek—“that you write to me for the remainder of the summer.”
Wait, what?
“W-write?” you asked in disbelief. “As in…”
“Letters,” Hook finished for you. “Write me letters. I’ll give you the mailing address of the Jolly Roger. Write me everyday, and I’ll promise I’ll write you back whenever we dock. How does that sound?”
“O-okay,” you reply, still taken aback by the peculiar, and far more lenient than you’d expected, request. That was all you had to do? Write letters? As punishment for saving the life of someone he’d ordered to die? You must be dreaming.
“Oh, and,” Hook said, voice lowered as he leaned in close to you, until he was just a hair’s breadth away from your ear. You could feel his warm breath on your skin, his alluring scent of salty winds and something richer, deeper, filling your lungs. “I look forward to seeing you in the fall. Don’t forget me, my little mermaid.”
With that, he stood up, smoothing out the lines on his pants. “You wouldn’t happen to need a ride back home, would you, love?”
You shook your head no, too terrified of him changing his mind to spend another moment in his presence. You glanced back at the man lying behind you, still unconscious. “W-what about him? What will you do with him?” you managed to choke out, somehow finding your voice again.
Hook pondered this for a long minute, before finally answering, “He can live.” You let out a shaky breath. “But only because of you, little mermaid. And only this time. You go against my wishes again, and trust me, your punishment will be far more severe.”
And with that, he went back to his ship and sailed away.
You still muse about that day, thinking how different things would have been if you had changed just one little thing.
You kept your promise of writing him letters, too afraid to know what would happen when you had to inevitably face him in the fall to break it. At first, they started out simple. Ordinary recounts of your day, your favorite things, what you liked to do. As the weeks passed, you started writing more personal letters. How you felt about certain things or certain people, including your parents. You never spoke a word of that fateful day to them, knowing that you’d be grounded for life and forbidden from swimming ever again if they caught even a whiff of the danger you had put yourself in.
Hook kept his promise, too. He wrote you back, although it was far less frequent than your letters. Even though he kept his responses short and concise, you always ended up hearing his voice in your head as you read his notes. You soon found yourself checking your mailbox daily, even getting to know the mailman rather well. The rush of dopamine you got every time you opened it to find a letter awaiting you was unmatched; you would always run upstairs to your room, lock the door, and pour over the note. Reading every line, every word over and over again, committing them to memory.
You don’t know why you enjoyed these little letters so much. Maybe it was the thrill of having a secret that no one else knew of, or the absence of your usual loneliness every time you were reminded that somewhere out there, across the seas, was someone awaiting your letters, reading them, and writing back to you. Whatever it was, your heart started to form an emotional attachment to him without you even realizing it.
Unbeknownst to you, that had been his exact plan all along.
Tumblr media
It’s safe to say that once you started school at Merlin Academy, Hook’s—or James’s, as he insisted on you calling him—grip on you only grew. Things started out pretty normal: light conversations in class and stolen looks exchanged across the hall, mostly initiated by him. After the first few weeks passed, things between you two only grew. Secret meetings during lunch hours, rendezvous after school, and small gifts exchanged between the two of you. From there, it became brushing your hands together whenever you passed by each other, soft pecks on the cheek or forehead where there were prying eyes, and more passionate kisses when the two of you finally found time to be alone.
Truth be told, you don’t really know what you two are now. Normally, you would consider two people that partake in such actions to be courting, and you kind of assume you are. But James has never said anything about a relationship to you, and in all honesty, you’re too afraid to ask him. You feel terribly confused at his intentions towards you; on the one hand, he approaches you every day without fail, even if you try to ignore him or when your schedules don’t match up. Somehow, he always finds a way. On the other hand, he never asked you to be his lover, never even vaguely mentioned anything of the sorts. So, you decided, with a heavy heart, to not be too confident and consider yourself his partner. And unfortunately, that meant that he wasn’t yours, either.
Really, you never meant to grow so involved with the bastard pirate that threatened to kill you on the beach that day. But for some strange reason, instead of treating you coldly like he did everyone else, especially the other hero kids, he was softer with you. Considerate, even. You had half-expected him to want nothing to do with you after your first few interactions, but he kept seeking you out. You often opened your locker to a note inside, or entered your dorm to find a letter slipped beneath the door.
Today was one of those days. You had gotten a note telling you to wait for him in your usual place in the evening, after classes. So here you are, waiting, staring at the water fountain in the courtyard. You’ve always been transfixed by the way the water spurts out the center and splashes all around. It seems that whenever you’re alone with your thoughts, they always end up back to that fateful day you met James, and everything that’s happened since.
“Wait for me long, my little mermaid?” a deep voice whispers in your ear from behind. You jump only a little, far more used to James sneaking up on you now than you used to be. For some reason, it seems he loves to startle you by wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you in close from behind, or speaking softly in your ear.
You twirl around, a delighted expression on your face, although you try to mask it with a feigned annoyance. “And if I say I did?”
“Well then, I’d have to find a way to make it up to you then, wouldn’t I, darling?” he purrs, using his hook to spin you around in his arms so you’re face-to-face. His lips make his way to yours, pulling you in for a slow, sensual kiss. You wrap your arms around his neck, bringing his head closer to yours, not able to get enough of his touch.
The feeling of his skin against yours ignites something in you, and you find your mouth opening to give him more access as a soft whimper escapes your lips. One hand reaches into his hair, tugging at it gently from the base of his head, while the other one trails down the front of his shirt.
James leans into you even further, your bodies flush against each other now, as he deepens the kiss. You find yourself leaning against the edge of the water fountain, the cool sprinkles providing a welcomed contrast to your heating-up bodies.
Once you’ve completely lost your breath, you pull away just slightly, a love-drunk smile on your face. “You had a request for me?” you whisper, panting, eyes full of adoration for the man you were interlocked with.
James breaks into a grin. A genuine one, not one of the smirks he flashes to uphold his patented suave demeanor. “Ah, yes, how could I forget, my love?”
He pulls further away to give you two enough room to breathe, yet keeping his good hand on the small of your back. “I was reminded today that it's been quite some time since I’ve heard your voice, my little mermaid.”
You give a little smile, deciding to mess with him a bit. “Whatever do you mean? You hear my voice every day. I mean, you’re even hearing it right now.”
James cocks his head to the side and raises a single eyebrow, clearly aware of your antics. “Your other voice, love.”
You giggle. “Fine, all right. Only for you,” you say, giving him a peck on the nose.
You sit down on the ledge of the fountain, turning back to stare at the water again. Although it has been a long time since you stretched your tail and went for a swim, simply seeing the rushing water soothes you. It isn’t quite like being immersed in it, but it still gives you some semblance of comfort.
You reach into the pool at the bottom, letting the cool water rush along your fingertips as you inhale a deep breath. Through your mermaid abilities, your voice twists into an otherworldly song, filling the space with a mellifluous sound.
James takes a place on the ledge next to you, reaching into the water to hold your submerged hand. You don’t really feel it, too transfixed on the rushing waves. You don’t see the way James gazes at you, like you’re his entire world. The softness, the tenderness in his eyes, which he reserves for you only. He looks at you not as if you’re his sun, something too bright to ever stare directly at, something violent and explosive and harmful, but as if you’re his moon.
As if you’re the figure he watches every night before he closes his eyes, and the one he wishes to see again when he wakes up. As if you’re the only thing he notices every time the darkness envelops him, your presence never falling off the pedestal he places it on in his mind. Never losing its worth. He looks at you, your soft glow and mesmerizing shimmer, as if you’re the only thing filling up the night sky. The stars and constellations pale in comparison to you, especially on your best nights, when you shine so magnificently.
You are the moon, and he is the tide of the ocean, constantly being pulled in by you. Never being able to escape the grasp you have on him, the grasp you are so blissfully unaware of. He stares at you in awe and wonder, bathing in your gorgeous light, so close yet always so far away. Sitting all alone against the dark backdrop of the evening sky, waiting for him to come back to you. And without reason, you always disappear. Always leaving him wanting more, waiting till the moment he can bathe in your presence again.
As you sing, the tide gets pulled in by the gravity of the moon. Your lyrical voice bounces off the stone walls, surrounding you both, just as the moonlight surrounds the waves on that mystical night.
But the moonlight is only a reflection of the sun’s glow, is it not? When daylight comes, the moon will pull away from the waves, its absence in the sky all but forgotten in the sun’s presence. And as dawn breaks, so too will the pull between the moon and ocean.

Yandere Kelp(ie) (they/it): a shape-shifting aquatic horse who enjoys drowning humans and eating their entrails. in a body of water near you. swipe ← or →
Yandere Kelpie saw you while you were traveling in Scotland. They did not know your name, but it did know your scent and appearance. They had been stalking people around in their human form. They did need someone to eat. Why not you?
Yandere Kelpie sang you to the edge of its waters and urged you to jump on its back in its equine form. It splashed you with a bit of water and swam eagerly with its reversed hooves. The inhabitants surrounding the waters could easily mistake it for a sea serpent if they only saw its mane.
Yandere Kelpie saves you from a watery death. It tries to drown you, and as you snap out of the haze it lulled you into, it feels sad. It doesn't want to eat you; it wants to keep you. It does need a mate, after all! You should be its new mate. It needs to court you. It brings you back to shore and disappears within the depths of the Scottish waters.
Yandere Kelpie shows up in their human form to you. You would see few similarities between their human and watery equine form. Their human skin was tinted grey, their eyes black, and their hair seaweed green. They don't know how to properly socialize, so they just keep bumping into you. They whine and prance around you. They try to sniff you to learn more about your scent, but that doesn't end well.
You try to get some order against it...
It doesn't understand! They just need to try harder.
Yandere Kelpie who gets frustrated and stirs up the local waters. They will do anything to get you to stay! They will ask for help from other local entities to make sure that the weather is bad so you can't leave. It'll continuously sing you to shore and try to get you to trust it.
Yandere Kelpie will drop human remains near wherever you are sitting. They look up at you with innocent eyes and act as if they didn't eat someone they saw you talking to earlier. It's difficult to say how clear-headed you are in this state, but Kelp likes it. That's what you named them, and they absolutely love it!
Yandere Kelpie who will dive into your arms in human form and nudge against you. It'll cuddle into you as it craves your human comfort. They'll beg you to say their name. Perhaps it is a little cheesy, but they love it too much.
Yandere Kelpie eventually drags you to your new home. It has everything a human like you would need! It will let you leave your new home, but only if it can trail along after you. It drowns many people for you, but you don't know that.

Today is a big day: I am sharing my first world – “Simynthos” – with all of you! I’m very nervous about it, actually. It’s the first world I ever finished!
So what kind of world is it? It's inspiration, the island of Corfu, is one of the more northern islands of Greece. It is greener than the southern islands, and the architectural style is a bit different. It has surprisingly high mountains and cute little villages with tiny orange houses and narrow roads and pathways. It has olive groves with trees more than a thousand years old, and it has beaches with some of the clearest water I ever swam in. I tried to capture Corfu's atmosphere in this little world, so that my simmies may enjoy it, too! And now I hope, your simmies will enjoy it as well :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To make it a “quick” project (still took more than a year, though 😬) I used the existing world “Sa Pineda” by the amazing @nilxis as a base. The island itself was not created by me, I only created the houses/lots and made over the vegetation.
Even though it is on a tiny map, it is a full world with several houses. It has almost all rabbit holes, and a lot for your sims to do – well, at least considering the sizes of the place. It can be a home world as well as a vacation world with Nraas Traveler mod (can be found here).
Other than my previous builds it does contain some CC. Most of it comes with the download, but not all (you will find all links to additional CC below).
If you would like a (almost) CC-free version, please message me! I will gladly try to make it look good without CC, if I know that someone wants that! However, you will always need the rabbit hole rugs if you want the rabbit holes! But I could remove all decorative CC and try to decorate with non-cc items.
I had a lot of fun building on this little island. I also learned a lot and I hope to use all the experience I gathered from this first completed project for my next world!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Details:
tiny map (256x256)
contains CC (most of it is included in the download, but not all. Links are provided for the items not included, see below in the “Links to CC…” section.)
no Store content used
road-less
unpopulated
9 finished residential lots
17 community lots
3 dive lots
two empty lots, one community, one residential
contains most rabbit holes. The ferry provides room for additional rabbit hole rugs in case you want to place some that are not included.
Packs used: I have all expansion packs and all stuff packs installed, and have probably used items from almost all of them.
Packs you will definitely need for full functionality: Island Paradise (for the Dive Lots, the Ferry, and the All-in-One Bathrooms), Late Night for the Bars, Supernatural for the Elixir Shop, World Adventures for the Nectar Maker and the Nectar Racks, University Life for the Coffee Bar, and Ambitions for the Salon and Tattoo Studio, Showtime for the Karaoke Machine, on one lot I used the grill from Outdoor Living Stuff.
I used a lot of furniture from the Seasons and the Pets expansions. This is non-functional, but the world will look different if you do not have these expansion.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A word of warning (please read this!):
This world is TINY! But for its size I packed A LOT into it. This means, however, that lots and buildings are on the small to tiny side. So not all game options may be available on all lots.
The Weather-Stone may not spawn due to lack of a suitable location.
There is some kelp visible from map view next to one of the dive lots. I could not find a way to remove it, unfortunately, although I tried everything I could think of. If it bothers you the workaround is this: Go into edit town, select build on the dive lot. Without doing anything leave build mode and leave edit town. Now the kelp should not be visible anymore for this in-game-session. You will have to do it over again the next time you start up your save, though.
The proximity to community lots will mean that you can hear the noise from concerts, movies and sports events or even just music very loudly on some residential lots. I recommend you turn down the volume of music and effects in the game options to around ¼ of the bar. You will still hear the sounds on the residential lots, but not as loudly. Update: Follow these instructions to mute rabbit hole sounds if they bother you!
I advise against playing with horses on Simynthos due to the limited space and the lag they can cause. See recommended mods section below for more details.
Snow may look black in some places, mostly on or near the paths due to me having to paint under the walkways I placed. Sa Pineda already came with 8 terrain paints. I decided not to change the terrain paint, as it was very nicely done by the creator, and also snow is probably a rare occurrence on Corfu. If you want to, you can just disable snow/winter in the options.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Highly recommended mods for performance and functionality:
TheSweetSimmer’s Pick Up Toddler Fix: If you want to play with families you will absolutely need this mod! Without it you may not be able to pick up toddlers at all due to the limited space inside some of the houses.
OhRudi’s space saving mods: I recommend all of ohRudi’s space saving mods for this world:
“Fix: Pets need less space”
“Fix: Sims need less space”
“Fix: Guitar needs less space for playing”
“Fix: Bass needs less space for playing”
Nraas Register: Horses will cause lag on Simynthos due to the limited space on the island and the extensive space that horses need for routing (even with ohRudi’s mod), so I recommend disabling horses in the game options and using nraas Register mod to deactivate wild horses completely.
Nraas Debug Enabler: The dive lots on Simynthos have the same problem that all dive lots seem to have: If you want to explore the caves, you will need to reset them first. If you forget your sim will be reset to the beach. Best way to do this is using Nraas “Debug Enabler” mod (click on cave > Nraas > Debug Enabler > Options: Name of Cave > Object > Reset).
Nraas Go Here: I generally recommend Nraas Go Here mods “Teleport for everyone” option, just in case a sim or a pet gets stuck somewhere.
Other recommended mods (optional):
You can have functioning Greek restaurants on Simynthos if you use these two mods together:
icarus_allsorts’s “Eat Outside Restaurants”
Cinderellimouse’s “Cooking and Ingredients Overhaul”
Both mods combined will allow you to set the menu for the diner or bistro rabbit hole to Greek dishes (or any other dishes you prefer) and order these dishes from a waiter on the lot. How cool is that?!
Links to CC that’s not included in the download:
You will need these Jynx rabbit hole rugs (Pets Fix), from this thread on MTS:
Late Night rabbit hole rugs (Pets fix)
Base Game rabbit hole rugs (Pets fix)
You will need the Left and Right versions of this mattress for two sims to sleep in a double bed that is placed against a wall.
I recommend you use @nilxis beautiful “Mediterranian Day” lighting mod.
Credits:
Thanks to @nilxis, the creator of „Sa Pineda“, for the beautiful base to this world. The island on which Simynthos was build is entirely their creation. I did not change the island itself or the terrain painting outside the lots (except for some places where I placed the walkways/paths). All credit for that goes to them! You can find the original version here. Also make sure to check out their other worlds, while you‘ re at it. They are some of my favorite worlds!
Thanks also to @aroundthesims for their amazing CC! If you do not know their website yet, you should definitely check it out! They have a lot of really cool items!
Thanks to @nornities for their extremely helpful CAW guide here. Unfortunately I only found this guide when Simynthos was almost finished. I could have avoided some of the mistakes I made, had I found it sooner!
Some of you may know, that I am not the first to make a Greek version of Sa Pineda. Back in 2016 Vendela created Simtorini. This super cute world has the typical blue and white houses another Greek island, Santorini, is famous for. Go check it out here.

Often the word delicate is used interchangeably with fragile. The only main difference is an obvious and inherent beauty that comes with something delicate. Something fragile on the other hand is viewed as predominantly breakable. Glass is fragile while a flower is delicate. Some items have a duality to them like a vase or feelings.
You were fragile.
Not entirely frail, there was some strength to your bones. It was more so from your unwillingness to be perceived as weak than anything else that kept you semi-strong. You were aware that life could be unkind, but also knew that it took pity on no one. There would be no exceptions made for you, no matter how much your mind craved it.
You were young when you learned the cruelty of life. The memory lives in your mind as clearly as the day it happened. It was summer, the sun was high in the sky, beaming down ferociously on your hometown. It was well over 90 degrees, the perfect weather for swimming. Your parents suggested that you and your brother get in the pool to cool off.
Lucas was wearing blue trunks while you had on a black and white one piece. He was 12 and you were 8, merely children. Left unsupervised, you played in water as you always had with each other.  You couldn’t swim so you always stayed on the shallow side of the pool.
After spending the majority of the day in the pool, you wanted to get out. You hoisted yourself out of the pool by the side, instead of going to the steps. You were successful in getting out of the pool. It was walking along the side of the pool that made you slip. Your head hit the cement and you felt your body hit the water.
You couldn’t recall much from there. The rest had been recounted to you more times than you could remember. You sank 12 feet to the bottom of the pool. Lucas hadn’t noticed immediately but once he did, he sprang into action.
He could swim, but he wasn’t a strong swimmer. Regardless he swam to the bottom of the pool to retrieve you. He found you there unconscious blood surrounding the water by your head. On the darkest days you speculated about the moment he knew that he was losing air.
He was only 12, but he used his strength to get you out of the water. You had laid on the cement unconscious, while your brother passed out in the pool water. By the time your parents decided to check on you, your head was resting in a puddle of its own blood on the concrete and your brother was face down in the pool.
They called 911 and by some miracle, you had survived. Lucas didn’t make it. You could never forget the look on your parents’ face when they told you. The pity in your father’s eyes and the hatred in your mother’s.
You could recall nearly every time your mother said you killed your brother. It was her favorite thing to throw in your face. She said it so much that it was hard not to believe it.
Your father would argue with her for talking to you this way. It never led to anything other than a screaming match between the two. It only took a few months for divorce papers to be filed. With the divorce papers came a nasty custody battle. The courts decided on 50/50 as your mother became the actress of the century claiming that she couldn't stand to lose another child.
Handling her cruelty forced you to toughen up. The words she spoke to you were nothing compared to the violence she inflicted against you. The bruises were endless with her. Even when you grew taller and stronger than her, she'd taken to throwing things at you.
When you were with your father things were calmer, but he worried a lot. So, you spent a lot of time alone when you stayed with him. It was better than your mother's and you were always grateful for that even though you wished he was more present.
The only thing that helped soften your reality was your friend Pietro. You met him in high school. He knew about everything. He was your only friend, the only person who had taken a liking to your semi-stoic personality. You were by no means an open book, but Pietro showed that he could be trusted. So, you found yourself telling him about your life.
He hated the way you lived. Any time he could, he’d invite you to his place to remove you from your situation. You gladly took his house as a safe haven. His family was affluent. He lived in a home with too many rooms to count. It was a stark difference from either of your parents homes. His family was also the most caring group of people you had ever known. It was evident after the first few visits that they had taken quite a liking to you.
It took you a long time to understand just how much the Maximoff’s cared for you. There was one instance that solidified how much you meant to them.
“Y/n, come over later tonight. Mama misses you, she said she'd make your favorite,” the then 16-year-old Pietro commented as you exited school grounds.
“I’ll try, but this is my mom’s week.”
Pietro frowned, “That just means you should come over earlier.”
You gave him a sad smile, “You know I want to, it’s just- you know how she is.”
His jaw clenched, “Abusive.”
Your gaze lingered on the floor. You heard him sigh loudly before you felt his arms wrapped securely around you. His chin rested on top of your head as he hugged you like you were going to disappear. You fight the urge to say that you were sorry, he hated when you apologized for no reason.
“I’m sorry, you know I just don't want you getting hurt,” he mumbles into your hair.
“I know,” your voice was smaller than you liked it to be. Pietro always found a way to show your more vulnerable side.
He released the hug and looked at you with soft eyes, “Be safe, Y/n.”
You nodded curtly, “I will.”
The walk home was as anxiety provoking as it always was. Dread filled your body as you approached the run-down apartment complex. You tried to be quiet as you entered your mother’s apartment.
“Well, where have you been all day?” You knew that tone indicated that your mother was already drunk.
“School,” you answered shortly, attempting to continue to your room.
“Don’t walk away when I'm talking to you,” her words made you freeze in your tracks.
There was venom in her glare as she looked at you, “Lucas would've been in his second year of college this year, if you weren't so fucking careless.”
You inhaled slowly, knowing there was nothing you could respond to her with.
“Probably would've been top of his class. He would've had friends and a girlfriend, but because of you he's been rotting in the ground for 8 years because of you.”
You balled up your hands into fists, digging your nails into the skin of your palm. You needed something to ground you, to keep you from crying as your mother continued to speak.
“If he could see you now, he would regret saving your life. You’re stupid, you’re ugly, and you’re disgusting. Still dressing like a little boy at your age, like the sinner I know you are.”
You couldn’t hold your tongue, “He wouldn't even recognize you, you drunk piece of shit.”
She slapped you, “Don’t you dare speak to me like that.”
Your cheek stung and your gaze hit the floor.
“You should've died instead. You’re hardly even a girl, we could've had another daughter.”
You couldn't take it anymore. Walking away from her, you went to your room.  She followed you, but that didn't deter you from throwing all of your things into a duffle bag.
“Where do you think you're going?”
You ignored her and continued to grab the things you cared for.  She screamed more as you packed but you didn't give her an answer. Once you were done, she was stood in your doorway with a wild look in her eyes.
“Leaving,” is all you said as you roughly pushed past her.
“Did you just put your hands on me?”
Her tone was hysterical. You kept moving through the apartment calmly.  It wasn’t until she threw a glass bottle at the wall near you that you flinched. It shattered right by your head. Glass shards flew towards your face, and you felt one slice through your cheek.
You weren’t stunned by her actions. She had done this before in her drunken rage. The glass shattering was just what she needed to get within arms reach of you. Her bony fingers wrapped around your wrist tightly. You hissed at the feeling, knowing there would be bruising.
“You aren’t going anywhere,” she attempted to pull you back, but you were stronger than her.
You pried her fingers off of your wrist. The freedom didn’t last for long as she grabbed a fistful of your hair, using it to slam you backwards onto the ground. While you were on the ground, she kept one hand wrapped in your hair as she started to stomp and kick you.
The pain was immense. You struggled against her, trying to find her hand that was holding your hair. When you found it, you grabbed her arm similarly to how she had grabbed yours. You squeezed as hard as you could, and you heard her shriek. Her grip on your hair dropped and as soon as it did you pushed the woman away from you.
“No one wants you; no one cares about you. You don’t even have anywhere to go, you worthless fucking murderer,” your mother stood still where you pushed her to. She tried to bluff you and you knew it.
“Anywhere is better than here,” you rushed for the door.
She threw one more bottle near the exit and you felt a sharp pain in your side, but you kept moving. Your entire body was burning, but you didn’t stop moving.
You let your feet carry you until you realized you were standing in front of the Maximoff’s house. Usually, you'd text Pietro and he'd get the door for you, but instead you rapidly knocked on the door before ringing the bell.
You didn't wait too long before the door swung open, revealing Pietro’s older sister, Wanda. She looked happy to see you until she noticed your state.  She gasped silently before gently pulling you into the house. You could hear the light family chatter happening in the dining room.
Wanda took your bag from you and led you to the rest of the family. Fear coursed through your veins as your heart started to pick up speed. You didn’t want them to see you like this. Wanda sensed this shift in you and spoke.
“We’re going to help, I promise,” her words were few but there was a conviction in them.
You took a deep breath and let her take you into the room with the others. When they saw you, the chatter stopped. Your eyes locked on to Pietro’s. There was a fire in his eyes as he looked at you.
His voice was shaky as he spoke, “She did this to you?”
That’s all it took for you to burst into tears. You collapsed into Wanda’s arms, and she held you upright.
“Wanda, Flora, take her upstairs get her cleaned up and prep a room for her. Pietro, come with me,” Dragos softly ordered his wife and kids.
Without much effort Wanda picked you up and carried you to the upstairs bathroom, her mother trailed behind her. Wanda sat you on the bathroom counter before rummaging through a few cabinets.
“Mama, I can patch her up while you get the room ready,” Wanda said, already prepping to help you.
Flora left the room, leaving just you and Wanda. You were hardly there; your eyes were cloudy as Wanda looked into them. She could tell you were far away.
“Y/n, I need to know where you’re hurt. I see you’ve got a cut on your face and some bruising on your arm, anything else sweetheart?”
You were hesitant and Wanda saw you fiddling with the end of your shirt. Her hands were delicate as they rested on top of yours, “You’re hurt under there?”
You nodded slightly.
“Can I take a look?” Her eyes looked into yours begging for permission.
You lifted the shirt up not only to reveal a bruise forming but a shard of glass sticking out of your side. It was like seeing the glass triggered something in you as more tears began flooding down your face.
“I’m going to fix it ok, sweetheart. You can trust me. It might hurt a little, but you’ll feel loads better after.”
The most painful part was Wanda removing the glass. Your hands gripped the counter until your knuckles were turning white. The red head talked you through everything she was doing, which gave you a little comfort. She also praised you for being as still as possible as she knew how much this was hurting. Though she imagined it wasn’t worse than the wounds being inflicted.
Once she was done, you felt a lot better. You could tell that she wanted to ask you something by the way her eyes wouldn’t leave your figure.
“Y/n?”
Your eyes locked on to her eyes. They were a soft green tone; they held a certain warmth to them. It was easy to get lost in them.
You hummed in response to her.
“Can I ask, what happened?”
Your thumb tapped the pads of your fingers and you focused on them as you answered Wanda, “My mom got mad at me because I wanted to leave. “
You saw Wanda’s jaw clench and it was almost identical to Pietro’s from earlier in the day, “She’s never going to lay a finger on you again.  We’re going to protect you.”
Leaning forward slightly you rested your head on her shoulder. She smelled good and it calmed your nerves. She let you stay in that position until there was a knock on the door.
“I brought some pajamas and towels for a shower. Do you think you'll need help or can I steal this one for a moment,” Mrs.Maximoff peaks through the door.
Wanda looked at you for an answer, “I can do it myself.”
The older woman sent you a small smile, “Very good dear. Just holler if you need anything.”
Wanda paused before she exited the bathroom, “After your shower I'm going to bandage your torso, ok? Be gentle around the tender areas.”
“Thank you, Wanda,” she smiled at your words and left at that.
When you were finally alone with your thoughts, your tears began to fall again. You let the hot water of the shower cascade down your back. The stinging sensation felt good on your skin. The words your mom said were echoing through your head. You knew they wouldn't be going away any time soon.
While you showered Pietro gave his family some insight into your life. He had told them your brother died in an accident and your mother blamed you. He spoke briefly about your father’s busy working schedule but went into details about your mother’s abuse.
Even the short version of events was heartbreaking to the family.
Flora met her husband’s eyes, “She can’t go back there Dragos.”
He nodded his head in agreement, “She’s not.”
There was a dangerous look in Wanda’s gaze, “What’re we going to do about that bitch?”
Dragos looked at his daughter with a slight smile on his lips, “We’re going to take care of her. She’s not going to bother Y/n, ever again, unless she's got a death wish.”
“If she’s going to stay here, she needs to know the truth,” Pietro said looking down at the table.
“What good would that do her? She’s already had enough,” Wanda defended.
Pietro’s glare matched Wanda’s, “She’s my best friend and we all know there’s a danger that comes with being in this household. If she’s at risk to be hurt, then she deserves to know, and I will tell her.”
“We can keep her safe without her knowing,” Wanda argued back.
“I am not lying to her,” Pietro said with finality.
Wanda scoffs, “You have for all this time, what’s the difference?”
Pietro slammed his fist down on the table, “I would’ve told her from the start if it was an option. She has barred her soul to me, entrusted me with her deepest fears and secrets, you don’t know her like I do.”
“I know she came here barely able to talk, a piece of glass lodged in her side, a cut under her eye, her entire midsection is a bruise. “
“That doesn't mean she doesn’t deserve to know the truth.”
Neither of them was backing down.
“The truth about what?”
The family shifted their attention to you. Pietro crossed his arms over his chest while looking at his family expectantly. Wanda turned her attention to her father to see what he would do.
It was actually Flora who spoke, “Y/n if you’re going to be staying with us there is something we must tell you dear.”
Pietro started, “Remember when you saw my house for the first time and asked what my parents did?”
Wanda rolled her eyes at Pietro’s prolonging of the situation, “Y/n we’re a part of a crime syndicate.”
Dragos quickly corrected Wanda, “We aren’t just a part of it. I’m in charge of it. We aren't so bad either, we do a lot for the community.”
You wanted to laugh, but they looked so serious. They were waiting for your reaction, but you were still processing. This clearly wasn't a joke.
“Ok,” was all that you could muster up.
“Do you get what we’re saying dear?”
You nodded slowly. “You’re criminals,” your eyes cut over to your best friend, “All of you?”
Pietro tore his eyes away from you.
Wanda saw the hurt in her brother’s eyes and tried to take over, “Beyond criminals, Y/n we’re the same Maximoff family that you know. We care about you and your safety. We would never let any harm come to you.”
“Do I have to be involved with that stuff?” You questioned.
The family all eyed Dragos, seemingly searching for an answer of their own. His eyes met yours, “I will never make you do anything you don't want to do. However, if this is something you're interested in all you have to do is ask.”
You took in a deep breath, before exhaling, “Thank you for letting me stay.”
Flora shook her head, “You’re family Y/n.”
For once that night you held back the tears. You let Wanda redress your wounds and then went to bed. Sleep came easier than it should’ve, you believed the Maximoff's when they said you were safe. That was the first time in your life where you felt delicate and not fragile. However, things change consistently, and life moves fast, even faster when you’re entangled with the biggest crime family in New York City.

WIP. (remus lupin x reader)
remus lupin x reader
In which the marauders and their girls are on summer holiday in South of France and Remus realises he wants you.
Warnings: fluff (maybe smut, we’ll see); not proofread!!
Tumblr media
Remus had no idea when he agreed to go to the Potter’s summer house in south of France that the summer holidays would go like this. He thought it would be just the four of them boys in a little house. But he did underestimate the Potters wealth a bit.
The taxi stopped in front of the iron gates of a three-story house. The path to the front door was lined by pine trees. Remus could hear some repetitive melody coming from the trees. He attributed that to some kind of grasshopper. The scorching sun, although filtered by the branches, was making the boy’s head ache and sweat. And the noise from what he had gathered to be a cigale was worsening it. Still, he was pleased to discover the house with its walls made of put-together stone, its shutters needing fresh paint, and the small fountain beside the floral arrangement that would go all around the building. James had pushed its faucet to bathe his head in cold water, but Remus was focused on something else now. He had seen someone in the window. Someone he didn’t know would be here.
The door opened in a hurry, and all he could think was, when did he miss that information?
“We were starting to worry, what took you so long?”
“James had forgotten his pacifier, that’s what took us so long. You know how he is when he doesn’t have it.” Sirius climbed the stairs, his sunglasses in his hair and his bag on the shoulder. “Insufferable!” He muttered loud enough for the four girls to hear.
Remus combed his fingers through his hair and took a long breath before opening his mouth
“Well! Hello-”
“What are you doing here? I thought it was just us four!” Peter asked joining Sirius and the others inside.
You stayed in the corner of the door looking at the two boys left.
“Had a nice trip?”
Remus nodded. You looked ethereal in your blue and white sundress, your hair braided together.
“And you? You didn’t wait too long? Lils is not mad right?”
“Don’t start, Prongs.” Remus lifted his luggage. “I like the dress”
“You’ll get burned if you don’t put sunscreen on, Potter.”
“It’s alright, Evans. He’s a big guy.”
“I have some sunscreen if you'd like.”
James shook his head no, not glancing at them, his arm covering his eyes to cover himself. He had decided he was done with Lily Evans. Too much running around, not enough results, he said. And, too busy becoming a better guy, he was not seeing how Lily’s attention toward him had changed. That’s what everyone understood, though.
Remus’s gaze turned from his three friends to the girl getting in the water. You chuckled a bit listening to Lily’s attempt at catching James attention.
“Not too cold?”
You immersed yourself fully in the pool and let yourself float around.
“It’s parfait!”
Remus smiled at your French pronunciation. You and Sirius had been going around throwing random French words in conversation since the first day of the holidays.
“Is it? Should I join you?” You shook your head.
“Don’t ruin it. It feels good like this.” You hummed plunging your head underneath the surface.
Remus looked at how your body moved expertly under the water. The way your hair floated above your shoulders and how sunshine seemed to rain on your back as you swam. He couldn’t tear his eyes away from you. Away from your legs moving so delicately under the water like a dance he did not know of.
He watched you like this the whole time you were enjoying the nice and cool pool in the back garden of the house. He was sitting on a lounging chair in the shadow of a pine tree. He had kept his shirt on despite the warm weather, too embarrassed to show his scarred body. Remus’s face was already reddened by the sun, and some freckles had started to appear on his nose and cheeks. You had found them quite adorable on him. It betrayed his soft personality that you loved so much.
You had been in love with Remus for two years now. Stealing glances at him when you could, but keeping your feelings for yourself. You were worried you might ruin your bond and your friend group dynamic. As if getting serious with Remus would stop you from enjoying time with the others. Particularly if Remus were to reject you. You couldn’t even think of how your friendship would go after that without being embarrassed to death. Still, from time to time, when you were brave enough, you would attempt to flirt with Remus. Just to see if you had a chance, or if he really was too good for you. You were wondering at that moment, fully aware of the attention on your body, if you could say something to him. Your face was red just at the thought of it.
“My eyes are higher, Rem.” You managed to say without stuttering too much. You had swum to him and were now looking up at him through your lashes.
Remus was speechless. You looked so innocent, so beautiful at that moment. He wanted to take a picture of you, just to keep you in his wallet, and maybe, just maybe, sometimes say to strangers, “That’s my girlfriend, isn’t she beautiful?” He dreamed of that, of saying you were his.

smart man, smarter mouth
tsu'tey x na'vi!reader
in which jake tells tsu’tey about some of the more intimate ways earth people mate
warnings: this is pure filth, minors PLEASE do not interact
a/n: i seem to write smut much quicker than angst so requests open! please nothing weird for the younger kiddos, i dont feel comfy writing that :)
Mated life with Tsu’tey was bliss. He was caring and attentive to you in all ways. Never eating too much food until you had your fill. Letting you lead the way in decorating your home. He had even gone so far as letting you name the new banshee he bonded with after the War.
The way he treated you in the domestic roles of your relationship definitely carried over into the more intimate side of it. He was what the elder ladies of the clan called- a giver. He was all hands, tongue, and teeth when he had the chance. Tsu’tey enjoyed mating like any other male, but he especially enjoyed it when he knew you were just as hungry for him as he was for you.
The two of you weren’t shy about sex. It was a normal thing to do, but it seemed like something was missing. You had heard of the things Jake and Neytiri had been doing behind closed doors. Neytiri was not afraid to share the intimate details of her mating with Toruk Makto. She often snipped about how his smart mouth had other uses to her. The things you learned had you more than a little interested in experiencing them yourself.
You just didn’t know how to broach the subject with Tsu’tey, but thanks to the insufferable Jake Sully you wouldn’t have to.
—-——————————-
One rainy evening you laid around the small fire in the middle of your home. Your mate at your back, strong arms thrown over you. You had not anticipated him wanting to mate this eve. He had a rough hunt today and the weather didn’t help his somewhat sour mood.
You didn’t know what exactly caused the puckered look on his face, but he had worn it since he arrived back to high camp. Knowing how he could be, you decided not to press. He would share when he was ready, you just didn’t expect it to be so soon.
Settling into your mates arms, his breath fanning lightly against your neck-you heard him let out a deep sigh.
“What troubles you my yawne? You do not seem like yourself?” you lightly asked, playing with his large hands.
You watched as he balled his fist over and over, going tense at your back. Almost as if at war with himself.
Tsu’tey stayed quiet for several moments, before his deep voice replied, “There was something interesting Jake mentioned today. About how people of Earth would mate.”
“Oh? Do they not mate as we do?” you questioned, heart pounding as Neytiri's words swam to the forefront of your thoughts.
He sat still for a what felt like eternity, seeming to be searching for the right words, “He says that they will use their mouths on each other. All over each other and I think I would like to try that with you. If it’s fine with you yawne.”
Suddenly you were very aware of every place your skin connected, especially his hard groin pressing into your back. The air in your tent felt smothering as Tsu’tey ran his hands along your still form.
“I-I do not mind. I would like to know. If you’re sure?” you answered through a shaky breath.
With your now spoken permission, he was like a man possessed. Flipping you underneath him, his lips met yours in a fiery kiss as he pressed his full weight into you.
“Do you feel that my yawne? Do you feel how excited I am to please you?” he growled into your lips, slightly rocking his hips against yours.
Before you had the chance to answer he was nipping and sucking at all the skin in his path downwards, leaving dark purple marks that you were sure would be noticeable tomorrow.
Your body felt like it was on fire from the attention he was giving it. Minutes felt like hours as Tsu’tey took his time reaching the band of your loincloth. You nearly jumped when you felt his sharp fangs graze the soft skin of your navel. Peeking downwards you were rewarded with your mates lustful eyes as he pressed his long nose against your clothed cunt.
A wave of arousal flooded you as you watched him inhale deeply, before pushed your loincloth out of the way. The cold air against your hot folds was enough to make you whine loudly, wanting any kind of friction you could get.
The first lick was tentative, him unsure of how you would react. But the loud moan that ripped from you lips, had him digging in like a man starved.
You didn’t even have a word to describe it, your mind completely blank as he worked his tongue and lips along your sex. Below you could feel the slight move of his body, most likely rocking himself into the soft furs to relieve a bit of tense. Knowing what he was doing and the feeling was otherworldly, you felt like you were floating.
Until he nipped at the little bud that sat atop her folds, resulting in you fiercely grabbing his braids. The sharp tug you gave his hair, pulling a muffled groan from the man below you. The vibrations directly on your clit quickly overwhelming you. It didn’t take much more for you to reach your high as his large hands came up to knead your heaving breasts. Pushing your top out of the way, he twisted one as he also paid special attention to your clit.
 Your orgasm hitting you like a direhorse as you pulled even harder on his hair. A low moan mixed in with your more high-pitched one and you knew what had happened. Tsu’tey came from what he was doing to you.
Neytiri was right, his smart mouth really did have other uses.

Relaxing
Tumblr media
Max Verstappen x Reader
Word count: 641
You and Max finally had a day off that lined up together and your plans were to relax. When you woke up, Max wrapped his arms around you tightly and you were pulled flush to his chest. "Good morning baby." You whispered to him. "Good morning, schat." A comfortable silence fell over you, almost lulling you back to sleep. That was until Jimmy and Sassy decided to jump on the bed with you.
Max let out a chuckle as they cuddled up on top of you two. "I think they are joining in on our relaxing day." You commented to Max. He just laughed and you started to relax again and fell back asleep. When you woke up again, Max and the cats were nowhere to be found. You walked out to the kitchen and saw him making breakfast for you. It made you smile and fall in love with him again.
"It smells good in here baby." You muttered quietly, still trying to get the sleepiness out of your system. He jumped at the sound of your voice and smiled at you. "Thank you, breakfast is almost ready." You smiled and helped him get out all the dishware needed and set the table. You also fed the cats their portion of food for the morning. Breakfast was delicious and afterwards, you were cuddled on the couch with Max watching a movie.
"I love you." You whispered to him. "I love you too." He whispered back. It felt nice to just be able to enjoy each other's company without any interruptions. This lasted for a few hours before there was a knock on the door. You got up from the couch and opened the door. "Charles, what are you doing here?" You asked. You don't remember inviting him over or planning anything with him. "Well you two weren't answering your phones but me and a few of the drivers are going to the beach. We just wanted to see if you wanted to come."
You opened the door and invited him to come in for a little bit. Max was still on the couch but sat up when he saw Charles. He told him why he was here and in the end, you and Max decided to go to the beach with them. It was great weather and it felt nice to hang out with some of the other drivers and have fun. You tanned for a little bit, got in the water and swam around, played some volleyball and just sat around and talked.
After the sun started to set, all of you went out to eat at a local restaurant and then parted ways. On the way back home, you and Max were making small talk with each other. "Do you need to get on the sim when we get back home?" You asked him. He shook his head, "No I can go one day without getting on it, schat." He gave you a small smile. "Besides I'm ready to go to bed." You agreed with him.
"I wish we could have more days like this." You whispered. Max nodded and agreed with you. "This is the most fun I've had in a long time." Neither of you spoke for a few minutes before he asked: "How about next season, you put in for leave at work and you come and travel with me for either a little while or even the whole season?" You looked at him shocked. "Let me talk to work about it and I would absolutely love to do that!"
Once you two got home and in bed, all you could think about was how much you loved days like today and how lucky you were to have Max. You curled up closer to him and both of you drifted off into a peaceful sleep.

SOO, in this period I have developed a huge obsession for Sungho from bnd, seeing those broad shoulders every single day makes me think about how much his physique is suitable for that of a swimmer. Sooooo, could you write something about pool sex with sungho? Thanks in advance if you do, love ya🫶
oh my god you're soooo me (and i love u too<3) 😭😭😭 lately leehan and sungho have been making me go crazyyyy. they are so hot and for wHAT.
this is long, i think the longest post I've made so far but i just got carried away, sungho is such a writeable person, specially when we include his shoulders/ back and pool sex??? i hope y'all enjoy !! If you see any typos, no, you didn't 🙏
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
summer was the worst season for you, it was hot, sticky and it forced you to wash your hair EVERY SINGLE DAY, and honestly that's a hustle. so you simply hated when summer came, yeah, that until you noticed that you could have a win win by going to swim class, you wouldn't be hot (due to the weather tho), you will learn how to swim and you will also get to see the hottest boy in town: park sungho.
you just couldn't wrap your mind on how he looked so good, perfect skin, beautiful foxy eyes, a tender smile and an amazing and lovely, kind, cute personality. he was basically perfect. but the day you saw him swimming??? that was the day you felt you were doing it all wrong, how come you had such a hot man close by and never noticed? he has those broad and toned shoulders, his muscles tensing when he swam through the pool and then had to flex his arms to pull himself out of it in the edge.
you felt how your throat went dry and your hands started to shake when he walked your way.
"you must be y/n?" he asked softly, removing his swimming hat and launching his perfect hair, because yes, he also had perfect hair.
"yes, i am here for the classes?" sungho just nodded, getting to your side before looking up and down at you and lifting an eyebrow.
"you can change in there" he signalled a door behind you "today is just gonna be us since the other two said they couldn't make it"
you just nodded in comprehension, walking to the place he told you about and changing into your swimming suit, noticing how you forgot about your swimming hat, you suddenly felt so nervous and you couldn't telk why. well, i can tell you why, your pussy was literally wetter than the pool out there, it took sungho 2 minutes to make you want him so bad you'll beg for it.
once you went out, you couldn't even think about swimming, you were NOT listening to a single word he said, your eyes were fixed in his lips yet you did not understand a word, but when you felt his hands in your waist, his face so close to yours when you lifted your head, you just couldn't hold it back and shamelessly licked your lips, getting a tilted head from him before he kinda laughed at your action and made you put your feet in the bottom of the pool.
"is there something you wanna tell me, y/n? you are definitely not paying attention. maybe something you want to know so we can continue?"
"are you dating someone?" he definitely expected that.
"no, i am-"
"i need you, please" he gapped his mouth a few times before actually freezing in front of you, his hands on your hips and his eyes scanning your face for almost a minute before he said:
"like, here and now?" you nodded to his words and he just thought about it for a second before nodding too and trying to get out of the pool, you held his hand and stopped him.
"i want to do it here" but sungho was just as compliant as he seemed to be so he just said yes and finally took you in for a kiss. don't get him wrong, it's not that he's an 'easy' person but when he was so stressed with the upcoming competition and in top of that had to give classes because his dad asked him to do so (the local pool was theirs) he just needed a way to escape that, and you looked just like the perfect match for his preferences.
so it was perfect for him when you came forward first because tbh he didn't know how to approach you without making you feel uncomfortable if you didn't feel the same as he did. and this was actually such a new experience for him, fucking with someone on a random day, place and without having any ties to that person previously to doing it? that's straight up crazy for him.
but here he was, kissing you like his life depends on it, he was needy, he was seeking for this and now that he had it he just took it. his tongue ghosted your lips and his body pressed against yours with some strength that made you open your eyes when your back hit the edge of the pool, your hands went automatically to his shoulders, pressing down in the flesh, feeling it under your fingertips and moaning softly at the feeling and the warm yet chilly temperature of his skin.
he left your lips for a moment, going for your neck with hot and open mouthed kisses that gave you this weird feeling of emptiness and made you so needy for him when his arms went to each side of your head, pressing agaisnt the edge of the pool and his lips going down to your collarbones when your hands held him for below his arms, positioning in his wide back and making him get closer and closer to you to the point that he groaned himself, making you feel the vibrations in your skin before one of your hands took the hair in his nape and pulled him back a little.
his lips looked swollen and his eyes kinda watery when he faced you and took one of his hands to cup your face and kiss you softly "i need you, please" he nodded at your words, kissing you one more time cause he personally just loved the whole kissing stuff like a mad man.
"do you have any condoms?" he asked you really close to your lips, not really wanting to leave them.
"i... i actually do" you mouthered and he tried to get away from you so he could look for them, it's not that you always had condoms in your bag, even though you should just in case, but you really knew what you came here for so... but even before he got 5 inches away from you your hands were already pulling him back "do you mind doing it without it? i'm good" you explained, so he could know that there were no diseases in your system.
"i don't mind but are you sure? the water can cause some friction and i wouldn't want you to-" he took his bottom lip between his teeth and then proceeded "you know, i want you to enjoy it too"
"it's okay, i just want to feel you" he laughed at what you said because you could feel him with a condom too but he won't discuss that now that he felt his boner pushing his swimming pants and urging for a release. he nodded and took you in for a kiss again, his hand lowering in your body until he reached your pussy, palming a little and causing a spasm to run through your body, taking the chance to finally introduce his tongue in your mouth and kiss you deeper.
he didn't loose any time when his fingers made your swimsuit aside and he entered his middle finger in your cunt, your hands pressing in his back and your legs opened up for him to position himself in between them, his lips finally parted ways with yours, his forehead pressing against yours while he slowly humped you with his finger inside of you and his hips right behind. "i wish i could eat you out so bad right now" he whispered, audibly moaning like a little bitch when you gave him a short kiss in the lips and held the back of his head to play with his hair.
his eyes staring into yours with so much hunger that you just couldn't make it longer, you needed him to fuck you so bad, his frame covering yours and making your legs feel weak before saying "please, get in, sungho" and he did not thought about it twice, lowering his pants with one hand and keeping your swimsuit away with the other when he pressed the tip in your cunt, it felt so warm in comparison to the cold water surrounding you.
you felt him pushing pass your entrance and your arms wrapped around his shoulders for support, one of his hands going to hold your waist when he finally looked back up at your eyes, managing to unglue them from what he could see through the water of your pussy taking his dick.
"all good?" he asked as he slowly went deeper and deeper in your cunt, you felt the stretch and just when you thought it was all in, he kept pushing, causing you to groan out in desperation. you needed him to thrust into you and finally relieve your clenching pussy.
"all good, you can move" he nodded and finally slammed his hips against yours, the movement being rather slow due to the water but it felt so good that your pussy pulsated when he came forward one more time, this time stronger and groaning in your ear when he tried to muffle his moans by kissing the space between your neck and your ear, and as much as you liked it and felt like you could die right now and die happy with his dick buried deep in your cunt, both of his hands were now holding your hips while his fingers pressed with some strength there, you pulled away from his lips, his thrusts coming to a stop because he got a little bit confused at your actions.
"did i hurt you?" you could feel his grab loosening and quickly denied with your head.
"you're perfect, but i want to... you know, hear you" his eyebrows lifted at that, his cheeks blushing when he swallowed at your words "you sound so pretty when you're on it, please" sungho was just a big boy physically and mentally, but when you shared how you felt his dick literally twitched inside of you and he immediately resumed his thrusts, this time going deeper than before if that was even possible and he finally picked up a pace that made you grin a little bit out of pleasure.
he was so good for you, so good for your needs, so good to make you want more and more. but when he started moaning sweetly in your ear you lost it, you became a little bit more vocal too, both of your whines mixing together and resonating in the four walls of the roofted pool due to the echo in there.
he fucked you fast yet precisely, slamming his hips over and over again in that spot that made you cry out and clench your cunt around his already leaking cock. he was so into it that he almost forgot to keep his voice down, whining so softly in your ear before asking:
"are you feeling good?" you desperately nodded, letting a high pitched moan when he gave you a sharp thrust, your eyes were wide open while you looked at him, your hair coming in the way when he started fucking you like that, strong and sharped, making you jump a little bit but keeping you safe in his arms when he hugged your waist instead of holding your hips, you moaned before he removed the wet hair from your face and kissed your lips.
"you look so pretty, and you feel so good" he moaned against your lips, his right hand going down to play with your clit, causing you to spasm and grind down on his dick and hand.
"you feel so good too" was all you could manage to say before pressing your nails in his back, his shoulders aching a bit when you scratched him by mistake. and even though he was not into having those marks on him, it felt so hot in the moment that he might need to think about it twice. "i'm so close, so so close" your voice sounded wasted, cracking a little bit with each thrust he gave up into you. "please keep going, just a little more" but sungho was not that strong, he was not that good at holding himself back, specially not with your pretty voice saying those things to him, not with your arms holding him so close to your frame, not with your soaked cunt squeezing his dick and his desperation showing up. he couldn't, so he tried to pull out before he came, first because he wasn't coming inside of you without your consent and second because he wanted to make you come first.
but his ideas shattered when your arms did not allowed him to pull out, your head desperately denying before saying "please come inside, i need to come with you, please" it took him literally 8 seconds and almost 10 thrusts to come after that, the feeling of his warm dick softening inside of your while he rode his orgasm out making you come in his hand and around his cock. "goddam it" you whispered, your hands falling from his arms and resting on his waist, throwing your head behind while he was hiding his face in your neck, slowly kissing your chest while you both came down from your high and regulated your breath.
it didn't take him 2 seconds to kiss your lips when you looked at him afterwards, accepting the sweet kiss the boy was giving you and moaning at the feeling of his dick leaving your pussy, the emptiness coming back while your cunt clenched around nothing.
"how are you feeling?" he asked you softly, fixing your swimsuit and cupping your face with his right hand while his foxy eyes looked at yours.
"that was amazing, i had a while needing something like that" you laughed and he did too.
"that makes two of us" he reassured and then spoke again "are you taking pills or do you need me to get you something?"
"i'm okay, no worries, i got it" after that y'all just came out of the pool, not really into class anymore and tbh who would be? you went to change back to your regular clothes and you just know he followed you behind and went in the changing room with you.
that's how you both ended up making out, again, and how you took his number to hit him up if you ever needed anothed lesson. it really didn't have to be a swimming one tho.
Do you need some Vitamin D? (Incubus! William x Oblivious! F! Reader) [Part 5]
CW: 18+ MINORS DNI. Fluff, age gap (Reader 20's - William Afton 40's(?)), teratophilia, meet-cute, punny pick-up lines, scenes of working out, minor porn-logic, ditzy! reader, could be classed as bimbo! reader?, size-difference, flirting, monster-lover, sexual innuendos, Monster! AU
Tumblr media
The routine that you and William Afton had established whilst he was acting as your temporary landlord was peaceful, and felt down-right domestic at times. You often woke up to William making breakfast for the pair of you, whether it was fried goodies, or toast and juice, or even just making up a bowl of cereal, often in his pyjamas from the night before in a way that made you entirely too distracted by the older man. If it had been a long day at work, he'd offer to turn on the water heater so you could have an extra long hot shower, your bed was always made when you went to get into it no matter what state you left it in.
Admittedly, that had been a bit weird at first, but when you asked William about it, he had told you he remembered how you'd commented once that you hated making the bed but liked the feeling of crawling into fresh sheets, and so he thought he would do it for you. You didn't remember that conversation, but it was true so you must have told him at some point that you didn't remember. Spring-Bonnie was always pride of place too, which made you smile.
You'd tried flirting with him a few times since you moved in, or at least, you thought you'd been flirting. But you never saw him looking at you any differently than how he usually did, and you found yourself laying in bed at night staring at the ceiling, wondering if you were doing something wrong. Unbeknownst to you, William was laid in his bed in the attic space above, thinking much the same about you.
That, and occasionally sneaking out of the house so he could check that Dave wasn't lurking around his property. Bumping into Henry on one of the nights had been a nice surprise, but he wasn't sure the were-bear remembered much as he'd snuffled around the dirt whilst William languished in his monstrous form amongst the undergrowth.
He had found it harder and harder to control himself as he became more comfortable with having you there. At first, it was minor slip ups, his nails becoming a little too long and sharp. His teeth seeming too large and too sharp in a smile. Catching a glimpse of his eyes in a mirror and seeing purple instead of grey, the slit pupil making him seem more predatory than human.
The closest he had come to really fucking up however, had been when you found out about a lake on the property and asked if it was safe to swim in. William had said it was safe, and you'd excitedly thanked him, talking about how you used to do a lot of swimming and enjoyed the exercise, plus with the weather still being chilled outside, there was something about it that made you feel like you were in a fantasy novel when you could say you swam in a fog covered lake. You'd gone upstairs and gotten changed quickly, and when you came down, William didn't even think before his body reacted.
Seeing you in a body tight swim-suit, barely covered with some yoga-pants and a light weight hoodie unzipped so he could see the curve of your body. His chest had swelled and he had rushed to cover himself in a hoodie as he realised that his usually hairy chest had expanded and become covered in pale yellow-ish brown fur and whiteish underbelly, ripping open his t-shirt in the process. Luckily, you hadn't heard or seen it, but his heart was beating so loudly in his chest that he wasn't sure you were safe around him.
But you had looked so good to him.
You had been none the wiser to the incbus' struggle to control his human form around you. But as you woke up and stretched in bed, you looked at the clock and realised that it was a lot earlier than you woke up. Figuring you could at least grab a shower before work, you grabbed your bag of toiletries and one of the massive towels that William Afton had leant you. It was easily almost twice the size of a bath towel, and you weren't entirely sure why he had such oversized towels, but they were incredibly soft and fluffy so you weren't complaining.
Padding out to the hallway, you tried the handle on the bathroom to find it locked, deciding to lean against the railing across the stairs whilst you waited for your boss to finish up inside. Hearing his heavy footsteps as you yawned and rubbed at your eyes, you were glad you didn't have to wait long before the door opened.
And your eye-line was met by a very fluffy stomach with white and yellow fur.
Blinking, you didn't move the hand that had been mid rubbing sleep from your eye as you slowly dragged your gaze upwards, noticing how broadly built and strong the body was before your head fully craned back and you were looking up into a face that was somewhat familiar.
The salt and pepper hair mixed with yellowish tones seemed to seamlessly run down his back and coat his face, fuller around where there was usually greying stubble and above the intense purple eyes with a slit pupil, almost like a cat's you thought. You could see sharp teeth and exaggerated canines as the mouth opened to speak, though nothing came out. One of the giant hand reached out as he ducked through the doorway, having to really stoop to press himself through, allowing you to see the two floppy bunny ears atop his head, one folded over itself almost cutely. Broad, flat nose twitching as you looked back to the hand supporting itself on the doorframe. It seemed almost elongated, the thick fingers ending in sharp claws that looked like they could seriously hurt if they dug into your skin.
And he had nothing but a towel wrapped around his waist. Allowing you to see the digitigrade legs, the feet similarly elongated and clawed, though you could see an extra joint in the foot that meant he looked somewhat normal when not in motion.
Suddenly the huge towels made sense.
"Bunny..." The deep, rumbling voice above you managed to choke out, snapping you to your senses as you watched one of the large hands reaching for you. It was so familiar yet so alien at the same time, like the larger chest added more base to it and sent that now beloved nickname right through you.
You bolted before you could even think to speak.
The running felt more natural than it ever had in your life. You weren't even sure where you were going, but soon you were out of the front door and heading into the misty woods. The mist and fog were thick that morning, and the stones of William's gravel drive cut into your bare feet as your heart pounded heavily in your ears. You could hear the 'bang' as the front door hit the wall with some force and the gravel crunched beneath quick feet.
Your breathing was heavy in your ears, fight or flight kicking in as brambles snagged at your skin and pyjamas, feeling some tearing at your skin and leaving little bloody scratches as you continued to run, unsure if you could hear William chasing you or not.
"Bunny! Please!" The voice called, seeming everywhere to your panic stricken mind, you felt a bile rising in your throat as the cold air burned your lungs. But the plea seemed fainter, and so you pushed forwards to where-ever you were going to end up.
William Afton was a monster. And you weren't quite sure how to process that.
When Henry Emily unlocked the door to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza and headed into the office, he was quite surprised to see the light on inside. Figuring that the night shift had gone home already, he pushed the door open cautiously and jumped slightly when he saw all eight feet of his friend cramped into his chair in the back of the office. The pale yellow shirt he had on was busted open by a few buttons, and the purple tie around his neck had been loosened to accommodate his thicker neck.
William's foot was tapping wildly beneath his desk, practically lifting it with each rise as the monstrous man leaned his head on his hands, elbows on his desk and staring into the middle distance.
"Well...you look like shit." Henry joked, but his brow was furrowed in concern as he took his own seat, making the lagomorph look towards him, purple gaze intense before he went back to staring at a spot on the wall like he had been for several hours. "Will?"
"She knows."
"Oh shit, you finally got her to go on a date with you?" Henry perked up, feeling a sense of relief that the incubus was perhaps just flustered over finally getting a date with you, but that feeling dissipated when he shook his head slowly.
"No...She knows."
The silence between the two men was thick for a moment as Henry processed what had been said for a moment before the hopeful feeling turned into a dreadful pit into which his stomach dropped.
"Fuck."
"Fuck, indeed." William's bassy voice was quiet, if such a thing was possible for a man of his size and stature.
"How did she-"
"She's been living at my house whilst her landlord evicts her." Henry looked up incredulously, blinking slowly before laughing, admittedly a little nervously as he thought the giant man was pulling his leg a bit.
"You're joking right? You wouldn't let a relative stranger, who knows nothing about our world...live in your house..."
"Nope. We'd made it about a week. She spotted me as I came out of the shower, she was up earlier than usual." He explained, wincing as he thought about how careless and stupid he'd been. It felt good to be out of his human form though, and now he was too nervous to change back. Attempting to get dressed had been a nightmare as he continued to tap his foot and his nose twitched rapidly.
"You...You let her stay in your house and you didn't fucking expect something like this to happen?" Henry was incredulous, running his hands through his thick curly hair as he tried to reign in his own desire to bare his teeth and start a fight in the office space. Throwing his hands in the air. "Please, please tell me you know where she is now, even if it's in your basement."
"She...ran off."
"She....ran off?"
"That's what I said."
"YOU ARE AN EIGHT-FEET TALL RABBIT, YOU ARE DESIGNED TO RUN LIKE THE FUCKING FEAR OF GOD HAS BEEN PUT INTO YOUR ASS AS A SUPOSITORY, AND YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT SHE RAN OFF?!" William winced at the loud voice, his ears flickering unhappily as he thumped his foot down, not hard, but Henry noticed.
"DON'T YOU THUMP AT ME, YOU ASS! THIS IS ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT, YOU DON'T GET TO THUMP AT ME!!"
The sound of the front door opening to the restaurant made both men pause, listening intently and Henry's face blanched as the were-bear realised that they were heading their way. Quickly reaching under his desk, he grabbed a blanket that he kept under there for emergencies and unfolded it, throwing it over William, who made a comically obvious rabbit-man shaped lump under it, as it barely reached his elbows. Henry taking his seat a little more firmly than he had meant to and wincing as he wheeled himself closer to the door so that he could intercept anybody attempting to come in.
You stared nervously at the office door, the paper in your hand heavy as you were fidgeting with it. Wearing the confetti blouse and red vest of your spare Freddy's uniform that you had circled back to your apartment to get, and to think on what to do.
One of your bosses was a monster. You weren't even sure what kind of monster, only that he was a huge rabbit creature and that you had somehow managed to out run him. But your arms and legs stung with little scratches caused by running through the woods, and your feet definitely had needed patching up when you reached home. William had been nothing but kind to you however, no matter how scary he seemed, and you couldn't shake the soft fluttering you felt in your chest around him, so you had decided that this was the best course of action.
"Mr. Emily, are you in?" You knew he got in additionally early after he'd been away for a while, liking to catch up on paperwork. Watching the door swing open and your boss' smiling face looking up at you from his wheelie office chair.
"Yes chicken! How can I help you, aren't you scheduled for later? You're never usually this early, is everything alright?" He maintained the smile, but inside his heart was pounding, and he hoped you couldn't see William tucked into the office. One of who's ears had slipped from under the blanket and was twitching as he heard your voice, partly compressed by the ceiling.
"I ummm, I just need to talk for a moment." Taking a deep nervous breath, you handed him the thick envelope with his name hastily scrawled over the top of it in shaking handwriting. "I'll work my shift today but...I'm resigning."
Both of the men paused as you spoke, Henry blinking slowly at the envelope before looking up confused at you, letting his inside thoughts slip onto his face as he glanced back and forth between you and the letter.
"Sorry....has something happened?" He wanted to know your reasoning as he opened the letter, scanning it rapidly and only finding a generic resignation written out in a shakey hand.
"No..um..Yes? It's for my mental health, my landlord is evicting me, and I don't think I can afford another place in town, so I'll be using my savings to move out to a different town." Swallowing thickly, you ran your fingers through your hair as part of you wondered if William was okay. Despite the fact he had been terrifying, you couldn't help but feel a guilty pang that you had fled from him.
Henry regarded the letter for a moment, his eyes flickering to Will, who had kept the blanket over himself despite the fact that it comically obvious. You hadn't spilt your guts about what happened between the two of you, and you were willing to put distance between yourself and William, whether or not it was to protect yourself or William, he wasn't quite sure. Wheeling himself back to his desk, he gestured for you to come in and close the door behind you.
As you stepped in, you froze, spotting the large 'lump' under the blanket that seemed to constantly be tapping it's foot and had a soft looking bunny ear sticking out from the top of it. Glancing back between Henry and William before you settled on staring at the blanket.
"So...I'm guessing you know that the reason's bullshit?"
"Oh yeah, Will's already spilt some of the beans." Henry replied, trying to keep his own voice calm, but he could feel his own teeth shifting in his jaw with the nerves.
"Oh."
"Oh?"
"So....I'm guessing, you've known for a while?"
"Since we met."
"Then I'm guessing you're..." Gesturing to the giant rabbit lump and Henry looked at the gesture before snorting with laughter, shaking his head as a genuine smile twitched at the corner of his mouth.
"No, I'm something different. I'm...Well, I'm a were-bear." Running his hands over his hair, you blinked as he revealed a pair of cute, round bear ears. His jaw jutting out a little more into some more ursine features and his eyes darkening before a faint crackling met your ears and he returned to normal. "Obviously, with...this..." Gesturing to William "I'm not exactly able to fully turn."
"You become an actual bear?" You asked, incredulous as you tried to imagine a fully grown bear wandering around the woods near William's house. Suddenly the comments about strange noises at night made much more sense. "So I have one boss who turns into a teddy bear every full moon-"
"New moon, but go on." Henry corrected, making you blink before you glanced at William, still under the blaket.
"And the other is...a rabbit monster?"
"Lagomorphic incubus." The bassy voice finally spoke from under the blanket, deep and gravelly as one giant clawed hand reached up and pulled the blanket off of his head, carefully tossing it to one side in the small office space and revealing just how cramped he really was in this form.
"What?"
"Lagomorphic incubus. Rabbit monsters are different, think jackalope. Sorry, it's an important difference." He murmured, making you blink as you both avoided eye contact with each other and silence fell between the three of you.
You looked at William and properly took in his features, you could still see him, or rather the face you were used to, under it all. There was something cute about the way he looked, the rapidly twitching nose as his gold aviators clung for dear life onto his broad nose, realising it looked like a little squashed rabbit nose, and despite his hulking size, he was doing his best to look small and un-intimidating.
"Sorry for running from you earlier." You finally broke the silence, addressing him and making his strange eyes focus on you for the first time since he'd seen you a few hours earlier.
"No....You had every right to do what you did... You were really willing to leave town to avoid me?" He asked, hurt creeping into his voice as you thought and shook your head, your shoulders sagging slightly.
"To protect you. I didn't trust myself to not say something to somebody, or bring it up to you and I just... so I figured that if I left, it would be safer." He listened to your reasoning and he felt his eyes welling up slightly. His foot finally stopping the insistent tapping that he had kept up for hours, leaving his leg sore and aching.
"Thank you. We really appreciate your discretion." Henry piped up, giving you a soft smile and a nod, and you gave him a soft smile back. "I trust I don't need to say that..."
"Yeah, nothing is leaving this room...Or Mr. Afton's house, if he'd still let me stay?" William perked up slightly at that, a small smile on his face as he tipped his head lightly to one side, his ears moving closer together and facing towards you as much as they could.
"Of course Bunny, you're always welcome in my house. Under one request?" He said, watching Henry tense up in the corner of his eye and watching the were-bear shaking his head as you looked up at him curiously, nervously.
"Which is?"
"Can I...Can I hug you, to show you that I'm not quite as scary as I look?" The question was full of nerves, and his foot started tapping again, feeling the cold concrete under his paw pads before watching you picking your way around the desks towards him, making his heart beat rapidly in his chest.
Yours was also beating rapidly as you managed to make it around to his desk, standing besides him and looking as you realised that you still had to look up at him even whilst he was sitting. Your arms opened up and you wrapped your arms around his barrel chest carefully, feeling some of his shirt give under your touch as you realised you were compressing fur. His large hands and arms wrapping around you gently too, giving a soft squeeze as he placed his head on top of yours and closed his eyes, huffing happily.
Henry looked at the two of you, his friend and their new confidant, the way you held each other and raised an eyebrow as he realised that you had feelings for the giant rabbit too. He wondered if you had been flirting with William and the incubus has simply been blind to it in his fixation.
Sighing, he picked up his cellphone and began to text somebody, wondering how he could get the pair of blind idiots to see that they were harbouring mutual feelings for each other.
It was going to be a long run up to Valentines.
Drowning
It had taken a lot to get all your friends together, days off and holiday days taken to align your schedules, but it was all worth it to be able to sit together on the beach in the hot sun. The beach was littered with families and groups of young people enjoying the weather and playing games. It was a nice, summery atmosphere.
People watching was a hobby you enjoyed, making guesses about the people around you that you'd never have proven true or false. Your book sat beside you, bookmarked with a seashell since you'd managed to forget your usual bookmark, and a drink in your hand. You sipped slowly as you just watched the horizon, seeing the children and adults alike playing in the waves.
You'd noticed a short while ago that there was a surfer on the beach, a relatively young man - you'd assume close to yourself in age - and he was quite handsome. Your friends had noticed you looking and made a few light hearted jokes, but all had moved on now. Or you'd thought. "Still looking?" One of them joked, gently elbowing you as they shuffled closer, tugging their towel closer to yours to sit in more comfort. "Can you blame me? Running around looking like that." You replied with a laugh, though you looked away having been caught. If something was going to happen then it would.
After spending a few hours just relaxing, a few of your friends convinced you to come take a dip in the water with them, and you quickly found yourself just floating along the water's surface while your friends play wrestled, though some had already retreated back to the safety of your towels under the umbrella.
The peace was disturbed as a woman shrieked from the beach. You looked up, startled by the sound, and spotted a young boy thrashing and struggling a ways away from you. Most people stood watching, stunned into stillness rather than rushing to his aid. Except one man. The surfer you'd been observing earlier dove from his board without hesitation, disappearing under the surface of the water with no sign for a long moment. Then, both he and the boy were gasping for air, surfacing properly, the boy on the surfer's shoulders.
Your friend appeared beside you and nudged you again, while another closed your open jaw with two fingers on your chin.
The surfer carried the boy back to the shore where his mother stood, and you watched as she profusely thanked the man. You looked around and noticed his board still drifting, so ignoring the laughter and taunts of your friends, you swam for it.
You dragged his board to the beach, waiting for the woman to disappear with her son, and pulled it to him. "Pretty heroic thing you did there." You said, smiling at him as he startled, then turned toward you. "Oh, anyone would've." He replied with a shrug, taking his board from you with ease. "I mean, you were the only one that even moved. It was pretty awesome." You were a little awkward, but you were trying and surely that was what mattered. "I guess it was." He replied with a laugh and a small smirk that made you want to kiss him. What a hell of an impulsive thought. "You surf?" You asked, gesturing to the board. Alone it was kind of a stupid question, but you were hoping he'd use it as a chance to talk about it more extensively. "Sure do, I'm an instructor too. The kid is one I've worked with before. He just got caught in some seaweed, he's usually a pretty strong swimmer. Guess that's why I acted so fast." He explained, and you nodded along. "So you're a surfer, a hero, and good with kids? Hot." It didn't hurt to be a little bold, right? "Yeah?" He asked, a cheeky smile taking over his face. You struggled not to fold at the sight of it, instead forcing yourself to stay strong. "Yeah. Could I interest you in sharing a cold drink, and maybe an ice cream at that café on the boardwalk?" "I think you could."
I thought of an idea for ra's stories Imagine that the male reader is Bruce's eldest son, and one day on a vacation (maybe he went to the Maldives), Ra's shows up and starts trying to spend time with him. And he has one of the best vacations in the unlikely company of Ra's
Oh yeah... I wish I could go to Maldives... Away from this winter and cold weather in general.
Summary: (Y/N) goes to the Maldives to relax. Ra's has some intentions.
Warnings: Ra's and (Y/N) just hanging out, (Y/N) doesn't know what the hell's going on, maybe a growing relationship?
Tumblr media
(Y/N) sighed in relief as he left the plane. His legs were slightly cramping due to the fact that he has spent over 20 hours on the plane. He stretched as he made his way to pick up his luggage. The flight was nice and he slept for a better part of it. He ate some of the food that they served, but the food didn't fill him and he wasn't full by any means.
So first stop is to get a seaplane and then got to his resort. Then the first thing he is going to do is sleep a little bit and then go out and explore the Maldives. He is still jet lagged, despite sleeping for a good part of the flight.
He rubbed his eyes as he made his way to the pick up for the seaplane. He took the VIP plane of course. Bruce paid for everything and gave (Y/N) a hefty amount of pocket money to spend on the way he pleases.
Bruce also bought the return ticket. (Y/N) needed this vacation. After months of just being stressed due to a case, Bruce decided to send him on the vacation the moment that the case was over.
(Y/N) didn't have any complaints about that. Especially when Bruce paid for everything.
(Y/N) sighed as he was put in the seaplane, waiting for the plane to start. His luggage was put somewhere in the back. After 10 minutes of waiting, they started going to the hotel, well, resort. Bruce has booked a 5 star hotel and it was near the beach and it had a bar.
And more importantly, there was Wi-fi connection for free. After landing, (Y/N) quickly made his way to the front desk, checking in quickly and then going up to his room. The view was breathtaking.
He laid down on the bed, taking his phone out of his pocket, calling Bruce. He promised that he is going to call him when he got to his hotel room.
He waited for a second before Bruce picked up.
" Hey, you got into your hotel? " Bruce asked with a breathy voice.
" Yup. Are you lot on patrol? " (Y/N) asked and Bruce hummed in agreement.
" I won't keep you then. Let the others know that I made it safely. " (Y/N) said, bidding Bruce a goodbye for now..
Bruce bid him goodbye too and (Y/N) ended the call. He took his shoes off and took his clothes off, leaving his boxers on. He just dozed off, allowing himself to sleep for a couple of hours.
(Y/N) opened his eyes, yawning quietly. He looked at the time on his phone. He got here in the morning and noon has passed. He stood up, taking his towel, quickly changing into the swimsuit he brought with him.
He put on a shirt too and took his phone. He tapped his pocket for the room key and off he went. It was just perfect time for him to go to. It was starting to get warm and he just needed to get refreshed.
He walked down to the front desk and stepped out in the warm air. For November it's hot and this weather in Gotham is just impossible. (Y/N) wished for this weather to be in Gotham. The cold was just getting on his nerves at this point.
He put his towel down on the sand and took his shirt off. Shoes got off too and he hid his hotel room key and phone into his sneakers, then put the shirt over it.
He turned back to the beach before just running in. He dove in when the water got to his knees. The water felt heavenly on his skin and when he emerged he smiled. The stress seemingly melted away and he was more calm.
And his blood pressure has gone down. He swam around for a while, enjoying the water. He turned his head to check on his stuff. His eyes widened when he saw a familiar face.
What the fuck is Ra's doing next to his towel? (Y/N) quickly swam to the shore shaking his head to get the water out of his eyes.
" Ra's? " (Y/N) asked as he walked up to the man who was just in a white shirt and green swimming shorts.
And sunglasses too. A stylish bastard.
" The one and only. " Ra's smirked as he took his sunglasses off.
" What the hell are you doing here?! " (Y/N) asked, blood pressure raising automatically.
" I just took a vacation. Even I need a break from my work sometimes." Ra's replied in his smooth voice, his Arabic accent seeping through on purpose.
The old bastard.
" Where are you staying? I could use some company. " Ra's said and (Y/N) just took his towel to wipe the water off of him.
" I'm not telling you where I'm staying. " (Y/N) replied hastily and Ra's smirked.
" Are you staying in the Four Seasons nearby by any means? " Ra's said and (Y/N) stopped using his towel and then he put it around his neck.
" As luck would have it, I'm staying there too. " Ra's said and (Y/N) has thought about changing hotels. Or calling Bruce. But Ra's is either going to follow him to another hotel just to annoy him.
" Why can't I spend one vacation in peace? " (Y/N) wondered out loud and Ra's still smirked.
" Am I really such bad company? "
" Yes. " (Y/N) answered without any hesitation.
" I can recognize a lie when I see one. I'm not here to ruin your vacation when I came here. I didn't even know you were here. " Ra's said and (Y/N) just wanted to die. Sure, Ra's is not a liar, but still.
" I should have gone to Greece instead of here. Or Bahamas. " (Y/N) said as a matter of fact. He really should have.
" Now now, it's not all that bad. We can spend our vacations together." Ra's said with what looked like a genuine smile.
" Oh God. Spending my vacation with my arch nemesis. " (Y/N) said, rubbing his forehead.
" How about you get refreshed and then we can go to the bar in the hotel. " Ra's suggested and by God did (Y/N) need some alcohol now. But wait, Maldives are an Islamic country.
" I thought that Maldives is in an Islamic country. " (Y/N) said and Ra's nodded.
" They are, but due to tourists coming they had to allow it. Maldives, survive off of tourism so they needed to adjust a little bit. " Ra's explained and (Y/N) felt a little bit better knowing that there was alcohol. Does (Y/N) drink often? No.
Does he drink when he is stressed? Yes. And now he could go for one.
" You know what, screw it. Why not? " (Y/N) accepted and Ra's smiled once more.
" I will see you in an hour. " Ra's said as he walked off of the beach, leaving (Y/N) alone. (Y/N) laughed after a moment, letting it all sink in.
What has he done to himself?
(Y/N) changed into some shorts that reached his knees and a white shirt. He made his way down to the bar, room key and phone in a little fanny back around his left shoulder, hanging and resting in the center of his chest.
He saw the bar and made his way to it. Ra's was sitting at one of the tables a little bit further away from the bar. It seemed quiet and private enough for a conversation. Ra's waved him over when he saw him and (Y/N) slowly walked there.
(Y/N) sat down across from him. It seems that Ra's is drinking their tea.
" I have ordered some black tea. I must say, it's one of the better ones I have tried in my on this Earth. " Ra's said and (Y/N) shook his head.
" I can believe so, but I'm not a fan of tea in general. "
" I know that. I saw a great variety juices, cocktails, beers, wines... Even the famous Coke. " Ra's suggested, bringing the mug to his lips.
" I could go for something with less sugar. " (Y/N) admitted, turning his head to look at the waitress.
" Coke for me please. " (Y/N) said to her with a smile and she left to get it.
" Do you really need a break? I don't think you know the meaning of the word vacation. " (Y/N) asked crossing his arms, leaning on them.
" I don't? " Ra's asked, interested in (Y/N)'s thought process.
" Yes. From what Damian told me, just work, the League, then the Light, but then you stepped down from the Light... All in all, you work. I didn't even think that you even know the meaning of the word." (Y/N) mused, a small smirk on his face.
" Oh? " Ra's asked, now completely amused. " Well, I can assure you, I need some vacation time. I haven't been to the Maldives in a long while. Would you believe me if I told you that I needed to destress? " Ra's said, taking a sip of his tea.
" I needed to destress, not you. I had an awful case for months and once it was over, Brue sent me here, all expenses paid. "
" I have to digress here a little bit. I thought you were going to order something alcoholic. " Ra's said as he watched the waitress put the Coke and glass in front of him.
(Y/N) thanked here and turned his attention back to Ra's.
" I need to stay vigilant with you. Alcohol might impair my judgement and I have to vigilant. " (Y/N) said, taking his coke to try it. It was a nice and pleasant taste. Less sweet than in the USA.
He is officially addicted.
" Now, I have a proposition for you. Since we aren't alone on vacation anymore, how about we spend some time together? I was going to fly out to Male, the capital. I haven't been there for a long time and I always found it beautiful. " Ra's said, looking directly into (Y/N)'s eyes.
" And I wanted to invite you to come with me. It's always better to have some company. " Ra's said and (Y/N) raised his brow. Huh.
" You know what? Why not? When? "
The two quickly fell into planning for the evening. (Y/N) didn't expect to say yes to Ra's, one of his enemies, but he is on vacation. It should be an universal rule that you shouldn't be an enemy with your enemy on vacation.
Enemies should tolerate one another during vacation. After planning the time to go to the city, they just fell into a nice casual conversation. Something that he really can't say, normally, about Ra's. They talked about everything they could think and Ra's appreciated the way he intellectually challenged him.
(Y/N) and Ra's have come back to the hotel, both exhausted from all the walking and eating that they have been doing. Food from Maldives is on a whole another level. (Y/N) felt like he was bloated like never before.
Ra's was no better from the food.
The two had a nice stroll in the city and have shared something that could be called a date. But was it really a date? (Y/N) thought of it like that, but did Ra's did?
Ra's insisted to walk him to his room. (Y/N) just brushed it off to Ra's being an old fashioned gentleman. Ra's has lived for over 800 years and has a lot of experience with lovers. Probably with both genders too.
But then, why would he insist on walking (Y/N) back to his room if this wasn't a date? Why would the time they have spent in the city be so nice and almost intimate?
And why would Ra's want to date him? Damian is like a brother to him and would that stop Ra's from dating him?
Ra's seemingly didn't catch on (Y/N)'s tornado of thoughts in his head. They stopped in front of (Y/N)'s room and (Y/N) felt awkward beyond belief.
Why now?
" I must say, I had great time with you (Y/N). I hope that we will see each other again. Unfortunately, I have to leave tomorrow, but I most definitely will see you once you get back. " Ra's said, face dangerously close and he moved to kiss (Y/N)'s cheek.
(Y/N) allowed it. Just for the record.
" Look forward to seeing you. " Ra's said as he gently lifted (Y/N)'s arms to kiss them before leaving (Y/N) in the hall, dumbfounded.
Why is this happening to him? Why is he looking forward to it? He turned to unlock his door, before Ra's came back.
" What's going on? " (Y/N) asked, confused.
" I have some great news. I'm prolonging my stay. Whatever comes up, Ubu can handle it. " Ra's said and (Y/N) had to smirk at that.
" Wow. So we are going to see each other tomorrow? " (Y/N) asked hopefully.
" Of course. I have so many activities planned. " Ra's said and with a last kiss to (Y/N)'s cheek, he left to go to his room. (Y/N) sighed quietly. He is screwed.
Bruce can't find about this for now... (Y/N) should see where this goes.
unraveling (k.b.)
"My head is clearly muddied, and I'm so sick of coming undone." - Aeroplane Bathroom by Gordi
Summary: when a plague claims reader's sister's life, the news is delivered in the form of a letter; when she distances herself from everyone and hides the news, kaz fears that something serious is going on until she confesses what happened. Pairing(s): kaz x fem!reader (established relationship - they've been together for a while, so kaz feels comfortable being somewhat close to her) Word Count: ~2.6k Warnings: loss of a sister, heavy mentions of grief, mentions of a plague, brief violence (reader strangles someone) Genre: hurt/comfort Request? Yes (@morrigan-crowmwell)
Author's Note: i'm baaaaaaack and FINALLY on break!! i hope you all enjoy this (not so) little hurt/comfort work - i promise i'm following up with a fluffy one soon :))
Tumblr media
It started with a letter a low-level Dreg delivered while the Crows gathered to plan a job.
He passed it to you with a murmur in your ear, and with furrowed brows, you flipped it over to see the return address. It was scrawled in the corner, a few letters missing or blurred together in the author's haste to send the missive, whatever it was. Kaz knew from the surprised look on your face that you recognized the address, but the expression disappeared before the rest of the Crows could notice or Kaz could evaluate it further.
"I'll be right back," you said quietly, rising from your seat next to Kaz and disappearing into the relative privacy of his room. Had you known its contents, you would have gone to your room a floor down and opened it privately.
When you returned, you seemed unaffected to everyone but Kaz. He noticed the troubled purse of your lips, the way you fought to keep a neutral mask in place. You avoided his gaze as you sat back down, and you hardly contributed to the rest of the meeting, your eyes on the now-crumpled envelope in your hand.
In the two weeks since the letter arrived, you had withdrawn. You didn't visit Kaz in his office, you didn't take shots with Jesper at the Club, and you weren't seen outside your room unless necessary.
When the day for the next job came, you were uncharacteristically sloppy. What should have been an easy in-and-out theft of bank information on a close potential associate of the Dime Lions was nearly botched; knocking the guards unconscious took you longer than it should have, and you almost missed the correct papers in the target's desk. When you found them, the guards were beginning to stir again, and the Stadtwatch were en route.
"What happened today?" Kaz hissed, shutting his bedroom door behind him with a firm click. He leaned his cane against the wall and shed his coat and hat, hanging them on a hook haphazardly nailed into the wall.
You didn't respond, dropping the rolls of parchment onto the crooked table in the corner. The letters of your parents' note to you swam in your vision, and you could still feel the guards' pulses slowing beneath your fingertips as you choked them into unconsciousness. Your eyes burned, and you refused to face Kaz, instead crossing to his window and sitting on the bench beneath it. You wanted to be anywhere else.
If you didn't look at him, you wouldn't have to see or bear his disappointment and anger. And if you didn't see it, you could indulge in the numbness that was easier to feel than grief. It settled over you like a coat soaked by rain: heavy, but at least it protected you from the worst of the weather.
The consequences of your indifference would rip your temporary armor from you and push you into a cold, harsh reality. Your sister was gone, a life taken by a plague brought by an unwelcome merchant to your small town. It was a truth you weren't willing to face yet. So numbness it was, even as Kaz and the letter burning in your pocket urged you to confront your grief.
"Y/N," Kaz said, watching as you seemed to go somewhere else right in front of him. What happened? What did that letter contain? His anger about the job dissipated, and worry rose in its place as you refused to even look at him.
He dragged a chair away from the crooked table and settled beside you, stretching out his right leg to ease the ache. You didn't acknowledge him moving closer, your eyes locked on the crows pecking outside Kaz's window.
Some said crows were messengers from beyond, intermediaries between the lost and the living. You scoffed at the notion once, the same way you brushed off the idea of Saints looking over you.
That was before you lost someone. Now, a tiny part of you hoped it was true so you could say goodbye to something. Even a damned bird.
Kaz brushed your knuckles with his gloved hand to get your attention. His eyes scanned your face, so carefully arranged in a facade of neutrality. But there were cracks in it; the wobbling of your bottom lip, how your eyes seemed to shimmer as tears brimmed in them.
Sick and selfish as it was, Kaz wondered if that letter had something to do with him. Was it a warning for her to get away? Was it a threat to her life? Was it a detailed list of every awful, heartless thing Kaz had ever done, making her fear him and regret joining the Dregs?
"What's going on?" Kaz said quietly. His earlier anger was gone, replaced by a worry that ripped away the cloak of numbness you'd shrouded yourself in. Just as you suspected would happen.
His concern left you unshielded and exposed to the tempest of grief you'd tried so desperately to ignore, to push away until it left you alone. Now, your numbness was darkening, like storm clouds rolling over the harbor and promising havoc on the city. It twisted and roiled until it was no longer numbness but the all-consuming feeling of loss.
You wished you could hide from Kaz just so he couldn't see the tears beginning to slide down your cheeks. They were hot and salty and dripped down your neck, and you wiped them away as if you could conceal them. "Don't," you said hoarsely. "Don't ask me that." Maybe he would leave it be, and you could hide again for a while longer.
But it was Kaz. He watched you unravel before him and knew he couldn't leave it be. He wouldn't.
"What did the letter say?" he pressed. Usually, he didn't push you to share your secrets. Saints knew he had his own that he refused to reveal. But he couldn't watch you fracture before him and not know what was happening, especially if he could do something to fix it.
You knew Kaz wouldn't relent until you answered. Numbly, you took the letter from your pocket and held it out, still looking out the window at the crows. They were hopping around one another, picking at the remnants of seeds Kaz had thrown out for them the day prior.
Kaz took the letter from your fingers and looked down at it, taking in the tear stains blurring the scribbles across the page. Still, the short message was decipherable, and Kaz suddenly understood. As he read those words, he was nine years old again, grieving the loss of his brother and watching birds pick up scraps of food and trash from the streets. Kaz knew precisely what you were feeling, down to the weight on your chest that threatened to crush your lungs.
"I'm sorry," Kaz said quietly. He took your hand and brushed his thumb over the back of your knuckles. This was one of the times when Kaz wished to be close to you. He longed to hug and hold you until sleep came, so you could get a short respite from the grief and know you weren't alone. "I'm so sorry, Bluebird."
His words broke your composure completely. The tender nickname ripped a sob from your throat, and you covered your mouth with your free hand to muffle the sound. You hunched over and hid your face in your knees, losing sight of Kaz and the birds and the world around you as the currents swept you away. You broke your hand free from his, curling in on yourself as you finally let yourself cry before him.
Hesitantly, Kaz moved from his chair to the open side of the bench. He swallowed, forcing away the nagging terror that rose as he gently pulled you into him. Kaz wrapped his arms around your shoulders and held you against his chest, letting you hear his racing heartbeat. It wasn't the smoothest or most confident hug, and he fought hard to battle the discomfort of having you pressed against him like this. But he was trying. If it eased your pain for even a moment, he'd bear the cold harbor lapping at his flesh and the memories of floating bodies tugging at his mind.
It meant more to you than you could tell him, and you couldn't bring yourself to question whether he was sure about this. Instead, you threw your arms around his torso and buried your face in his chest. He was warm and here and alive, and he was everything you needed right then as the dam exploded and any semblance of being okay disappeared. You sobbed into his vest as the truth came crashing down on you, crushing your lungs and making your head throb from the pain of trying to process it.
You weren't sure how long you cried. Somewhere between those initial moments of Kaz's arms around you and when you could finally catch your breath, the sun disappeared, and the stars emerged from behind the clouds. Turning your head to rest your ear against Kaz's heart, you blearily looked out the dirty window; above the clocktower in the distance was the brightest star in the sky. In your exhausted mind, you imagined it was your sister. That brought you more comfort than the legend about crows. She would've hated being a bird.
Somehow, in the warmth of Kaz's arms and with those words in your mind, you drifted into an uneasy sleep. Everywhere your dreams turned, there were crows. Sometimes your sister's laughter replaced their squawking. They dropped bright tulips on a fresh grave before flying away, their wings beating against the cloudy sky.
Kaz thought you had to be uncomfortable with the windowsill pressing into your back and your legs curled up at a strange angle. He carefully shifted, sliding one of his arms under your knees and the other around your shoulders. Then, Kaz stood and carried you over to his tiny bed. You stirred as he set you down and tucked his threadbare blanket around you. He held his breath, hoping you wouldn't wake, and he slowly let it out once you lapsed into stillness once more.
He stayed nearby as you slept, settling on the bench and looking over the city. When his eyes started drooping, he shook himself awake. When that didn't work, he grabbed a book and forced himself to read about Kerch's history.
As the night reached its darkest point and the East Stave reached its most raucous, you stirred into consciousness again. Your eyes were swollen from crying, and your head pounded. Yet the smell of Kaz, all smoke and rum and something rich, enveloped you and soothed you enough that you weren't severely bothered by your physical discomfort.
You slowly sat up and scooted back against the wall, trying to shake off some of the heaviness lingering over you. Kaz lifted his head from where it was bent over the book in his hands and straightened up when he saw you were awake.
"Hi," he said softly. He closed his book and swung his legs off the bench. "How did you sleep?"
"Poorly." You crossed your legs and looked everywhere but at his face. This was what you'd hoped to avoid. This tense air between the two of you, the result of your inability to keep your shit together until you got to the privacy of your own room. You felt weak, unworthy of being a Crow. You wished the numbness would overtake you again.
Guilt joined the lineup of emotions, and you looked down at your hands. You were lucky they weren't stained with your friends' blood.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Though Kaz's tone wasn't accusatory, you flinched away from it.
"I didn't want to burden you." You thought you'd be able to grieve in private without worrying the Crows or disrupting a job. Clearly, that wasn't the case; everything reminded you of your sister.
"You're not a burden to me," he said firmly. He understood your words and reasoning all too well, and he hated that he did. But you weren't a burden on him, the same way you never treated him or his failures in your relationship as such. To you, his struggle to touch you wasn't a failure. To him, your grief wasn't a burden.
Kaz wished you would treat yourself with the same kindness you gave to him.
You kept your gaze fixed on your hands, even as his words caused your cheeks to flush. It took all your self-control to keep tears from brimming in your eyes; you couldn't tell whether they were from sadness or how he said the words as if they weren't up for debate. Like he didn't question the truth in them.
"When I was young, I lost my brother," Kaz admitted. His voice was quiet and suddenly seemed very far away. Your head lifted, and you looked at him in surprise. Kaz didn't notice, and his eyes focused on the Dekappel portrait across the room.
"He died of the Queen's Lady Plague. I got it soon after." He shuddered. He could still remember the feeling of the fever as it immobilized him, weakened him until he couldn't swim and had to use Jordie to get to shore. "There was nothing I could do, and I was alone in the city after that." His gaze finally turned to yours. "But you aren't alone. You have people who understand." I understand. "And you aren't a burden on me, so talk to me. The Crows, the Club, the Dime Lions, they can wait."
Kaz hoped that you understood the words he wanted to say. You're more important than all of them.
Your bottom lip wobbled, and you slid out of his bed and crossed over to him. You sat beside him and took his hand, though you longed to throw your arms around him again. That was a level of physical contact he needed to initiate.
"Thank you," you whispered. Your eyes shimmered in the moonlight with more tears, and you wiped them away before resting your head on his shoulder to hide your face. You clasped his hand in both of yours and felt him lace his fingers with yours to comfort you. "I want to throw a tulip in the harbor for her tomorrow." Your voice cracked, and you swallowed before continuing. "It was her favorite flower."
"As soon as the sun rises," Kaz promised. He wished he had a gesture to offer for his brother, but Kaz Brekker wasn't known for sentimentality. It wasn't his style.
You lifted your head and wiped away a traitorous tear with the palm of your hand. "We'll bring a flower for your brother, too," you said quietly, watching Kaz's face. Was it too much to suggest? It felt wrong to not offer after he opened up to you.
Kaz's throat tightened, and he turned to look down at you. "That sounds nice." His eyes softened at the earnestness on your face, and he gently squeezed your hand to thank you.
Your shoulders loosened in relief, and you rested your head on his shoulder again, turning your eyes toward the Dekappel on the wall and watching as the moon's rays darkened the rich oil paint. The room was silent, but there was no need to fill it. Instead, you let yourself think of your sister and her tulips.
You'd start to knit yourself back together come morning.
18+ Only
-----------------------
Past:
''Would you hurry up? We're never going to get a good spot.'' Bradley groaned as he stood outside the guest bedroom while you got ready for your beach day.
''Okay okay, I'm ready.'' you said as you shuffled out of the bedroom, an oversized t-shirt draping over you like a blanket.
Bradley scrunched up his nose, ''How are you gonna catch any sun with that thing on?''
''I'll take it off when we get there.'' you said as you grabbed your beach bag and made your way down the stairs.
You opted to walk the short distance to the beach as the weather was perfect. Carole had given you one of her big sunhats and Bradley had fished out his dads old aviators. Together the pair of you looked like an old married couple, squabbling about stupid things jokingly as you walked.
Bradley slung his arm over your shoulder as the sound of the sea and happy vacationers became audible, and he sighed.
''One day when we're older and earning money, you're gonna live with me.''
''Why would I want to live with a gross boy?'' you teased.
''Because I'll be like super ripped and you won't be able to keep your hands off of me.'' Bradley winked, and you shoved him away with a groan.
''Yeah you wish.''
Little did you know everything Bradley had said would come true, eventually.
You found a little spot on the beach and put your things down, scanning the water for somewhere to swim.
Bradley bent over to remove his shoes, and as he stood back up you were in the process of taking the huge t-shirt off.
Bradley gulped loudly, your body was incredible. He wasn't sure when you really became a woman, but there was nothing left of that dorky teenager he'd helped years ago.
Your bikini was figure hugging and complimented every curve. Gabby had taught you a thing or two about dressing for confidence, and boy was she right, you felt much less awkward in your own skin suddenly.
You began to walk towards the water, ''You coming, Bradshaw?''
Bradley closed his mouth and nodded, ''Yeah...yup. Coming.''
As he followed you to the sea, he tried to keep his eyes on the water ahead, instead of on his best friend, who was really beginning to give him confused feelings.
He watched as you stepped into the sea, the waves lapping at your soft skin. You gasped as the cold water splashed your chest and hopped around as you adjusted, and Bradley's jaw hit the ground.
He suddenly couldn't hear or see anything but you, and he felt himself losing control over himself.
''Shit.'' he mumbled as he quickly sat down under the cold water.
''Wow that's brave, the waters freezing.'' you said, as the cold waves splashed up against Bradleys lowered form.
''Mhmm.'' he mumbled through gritted teeth. Sure, the water was cold and it wasn't a pleasant feeling being submerged so quickly, but it was doing wonders subduing something else.
He breathed as his erection went down, and waded deeper out into the water, following you as you finally submerged yourself.
You swam around and floated in the water for a while, enjoying the happy sounds of people splashing around, the smell of the sea and sunscreen filling your nostrils.
''It's so nice to be back.'' you sighed happily, looking back at the shore.
''It's nice to have you back. You have no idea how lame it's been without you.'' Bradley chuckled.
''You're so soppy all of a sudden, who even are you?'' you teased, and splashed Bradley in the face.
He looked at you in shock, ''How dare you?'' and splashed you back.
You laughed and lunged at Bradley, gripping his shoulders and trying to push him under the water, but you'd forgotten how tall he was, and he didn't even budge under your weight, instead your body landed against his, and he steadied you with his hands on your hips, your faces inches apart.
You flushed red and pushed away, swimming backwards as you glared at him playfully.
''Alright, I'm cold. Let's go get a tan.'' you instructed as you swam back to shore, your heart racing at how desperately you wanted to prolong the awkward little moment you'd just had.
''Okay, I'll... I'll be out in a minute.'' Bradley mumbled awkwardly, waiting yet again for the water to subdue his excitement.
Present:
You blinked rapidly, desperately hoping you were having a horrible nightmare and you'd wake up in the bungalow tucked safely under Bradleys strong arm.
Nat moved to your side and gripped your arm to steady you. Bradley had told her briefly about a bad ex and Nat was smart enough to recognise trauma when she saw it.
“Is it him?” She mumbled in your ear.
You nodded, as you forced some air into your lungs.
“What’s wrong? Aren’t you happy to see me?” Jacob chuckled, his dazzling smile almost nonchalant as he edged closer. Alice grinned from behind him.
“Hope you don’t mind, Y/N, but a quick scour of your Facebook showed so many happy pictures of you two. I just figured… well, it might be nice to find him and reunite two old flames.” She smirked, a glint of revenge in her blue eyes.
“When I heard you’d left Fall River, it really hurt me…” Jacob stepped forward and took your hand, cupping it in his other.
You still couldn’t speak, for fear the tears would begin to fall and you’d look weak. You tried to put on what you thought was a brave face, but to everyone around you, you looked terrified, like a ghost of bad times past stood before you.
“I really thought that one day, eventually, you’d forgive our squabbles, and you’d come back to me. I mean, I called, I called so many times. And I came to your door but you were never home, but I just thought our love was stronger than all of that and you’d eventually wake up and see that too.” He sighed, his blue eyes crinkled as he grinned down at you, black hair slicked back perfectly as it always had been. Nothing about Jacob had changed in the last few years.
He was still the same devilishly handsome, darkly dangerous man as before.
You had somehow, inexplicably, been able to avoid him for the past few years despite the small size of the town. Jacob had changed schools after the breakup, but it didn’t stop the ferocious slander from the other teachers who sided with him.
You managed to memorise his very particular pattern. He shopped on certain days, at certain times, in certain stores. On Saturdays he went to the library for most of the day, so you knew it was safe to run your errands, and you mostly stuck to shopping in the evening when you were sure he was at home, sipping wine and tucked into a good book.
You felt immense relief when you left town, finally feeling a sense of freedom you hadn’t had in a long time, but suddenly you felt all of the sneaking around and moving was for nothing, and your body began to shake.
“Please leave.” You managed to squeak out.
“Leave? Do you realise how far I’ve come just to see you? The least you could do is have a drink with me, beautiful.” He cupped your cheek and your body locked up. A single tear slid from your eye as your nostrils filled with his musky cologne, all of the bad memories rushing back.
“Jacob I think you need to go, if you know what’s best for you.” Nat stepped forward.
“You called?” Hangman sang as he walked back into the room, Bradley following and both none the wiser.
“Not you, Jake. Him. It’s Birdy’s ex.” Nat scowled at Jacob. Hangman eyed up the newcomer and moseyed forward with his own face plastered in a cocky grin.
Bradley’s eyes finally landing on you and your shaking form, and man with his hands on you, his eyes went dark and his body tensed up.
“Well well well, I’m sorry ‘Jacob’. I’m afraid there’s only room for one Jake in this building… in this city even, and that’s me. I’ll be happy to escort you out.” Hangman drawled, taking the toothpick out of his mouth and flicking it dramatically to the floor.
Jacob let go of you and focused his scowl on Hangman, walking cooly up to him. “This is none of your business, kid. Maybe just stay out of it if you know what’s good for you.”
Suddenly, from just behind Jacob, Bradley cleared his throat. The two men were about the same height, but when Jacob turned to face him, Bradley seemed at least a head taller than him as he stood tall and angry with his fists clenched at his side and his jaw set.
“You’re Jacob?” Bradley ground out.
“That’s me, buddy. My girls been talking about me, I take it?” Jacob smirked over at you. But just as soon as he looked back, Bradley’s hand was wrapping around Jacob’s neck as he pushed him up against the nearest wall.
Jacob struggled as his neat hair came loose from its slicked back hold, huffing against the wall as his eyes scanned the room.
“I’m only going to tell you once to get the fuck out of here, if I catch you anywhere near her again, it will be me and every naval officer in this room you’ll have to contend with. Got it?” Bradley growled, his face red and a scowl etched deep into his features as his huge hand wrapped tighter around Jacobs neck.
The Hard Deck was now silent as everyone, including Penny, stood with bated breaths. Even Alice looked surprised.
Hangman, Bob, Javy, Mickey and Reuben stood in a half circle around Bradley and Jacob, ready to pounce at any sign of struggle. Nat stood at your side, her arm hooked around your waist just in case, as you stood watching in horror.
“Fine. Fine. I’ll go.” Jacob said, his shit eating grin still unfaltering as Bradley reluctantly let go of him.
Jacob smoothed his hair back and straightened his shirt and jacket, and Bradley followed him through the crowd towards the entrance.
The rest of the Daggers followed, and reluctantly your feet began to move too. You had to be sure he was really leaving.
Once out in the parking lot, a crowd beginning to gather at the door, Bradley stood with his huge arms crossed as he watched Jacob walk towards his rental car.
You breathed a shaky sigh of relief as you thought it was all over, but Jacob suddenly stopped, chuckled to himself, and then turned around.
“Actually, I always knew it would end like this. With me kind enough to give my girl another chance, but naturally the little whore has surrounded herself with more men than she can satisfy.” He spat, and it was enough to release Bradley’s rage.
Bradley surged forward across the gravel, “You fucker!” He growled, and his fist connected with Jacobs face.
Jacob stumbled back in surprise, touching his split lip and smirking at the blood on his fingers as Bradley stood over him.
“Stay the fuck away from her. She’s not your girl.” Bradley spat.
“You don’t know who you’ve fucked with. I’ll see you around.” And with that Jacob turned and climbed into his car.
Alice stood in the crowd and crossed her arms. Her plan had seriously backfired. All she wanted was for Jacob to take you away so she’d have another shot with Bradley, she hadn’t realised the full extent of the situation. Before anyone could pick a bone with her, she slunk off into the crowd and disappeared.
Bradley took a moment to breathe, his hands on his hips as he collected himself.
You stood behind him, hands still clasped over your mouth, shaking like a leaf. Bradley turned around and his angry face softened as soon as his eyes landed on you. Wordlessly he pulled you into him and held you, kissing the top of your head.
“Are you okay, Birdy?” He whispered into your hair.
You nodded, wrapping your arms tightly around him, “Thank you.”
“I’m sorry you had to see that.”
“I’m not... It’s nice to know so many people are fighting my corner, especially with you at the centre. I don’t feel so scared anymore.” You said as you looked up at him.
Bradley bent down and kissed you gently, his swollen hand threading through your hair.
You pulled back slightly, “What about the others? They’re gonna know.”
“I don’t care. I want them to know you’re all mine.” He said before his lips connected with yours again.
“I fucking knew it!” Nat chuckled from the entrance.
“Alright alright, let’s give them a moment.” Bob smiled, and everyone filtered back inside.
Past:
The summer had passed in a blur, and before you knew it, you were spending your final night in the Bradshaw household before you had to fly back the next morning.
The summer had been filled with perfect memories. Long days down at the beach, evening walks around the neighbourhood reminiscing about the good old days, lots of laughter at dinner times and movies in Bradley’s bed before you went to sleep.
Carole didn’t mind you spending time alone in each others rooms, provided you went to sleep in your own beds at night.
On the last night you finished watching The NeverEnding Story for the tenth time, a movie you and Bradley had loved when you were younger, and you said goodnight to him as you left for your bed.
Bradley sat in his bed for a long time after you left, contemplating how to sneak the letter he’d wrote you into your suitcase without you noticing. He’d been thinking about it all summer, and had decided he needed to tell you how he felt.
He wasn’t the best at using his words, so felt it better to write everything down, and hoped you’d be long gone by the time you read it, so that he wouldn’t implode into himself if you read it in front of him.
Once he was sure you must have fallen asleep, Bradley crawled out of bed and grabbed the letter from his desk drawer. His hands shook as he held it in his hands. Letting out a shaky breath, he snuck out of his room and padded quietly down the dark hallway.
He carefully opened your bedroom door, and he could hear your steady breathing. You were asleep. He snuck inside and crept towards your suitcase. He bent down and slowly unzipped the front pouch.
“Bradley?” Your soft voice hummed.
Bradley shot up and threw the letter on the floor, kicking it under the chest of drawers.
“Hey Birdy.” He whispered.
“What are you doing in here?”
He was quiet for a moment, but then he walked over to the bed and climbed in next to you.
“I just wanted sleep next to you one last time.” He whispered.
“Won’t your mom be mad?” You whispered back, turning on your side to face him, close enough to feel his breath on your face.
“She doesn’t need to know.” His heart was thudding against his chest.
“Okay, I’m glad you’re here. I always sleep better when you’re around.” You grinned.
You closed your eyes as Bradley stroked a strand of hair off of your face. You looked so beautiful, it would be so easy just to kiss you. But Bradley was terrified you’d reject him and he’d ruin the entire summer by making one wrong move.
Little did he know you were desperate to tangle your fingers in his hair and have your way with him too.
“Birdy?” Bradley’s hoarse voice mumbled.
“Hmmm?”
“I… uhm…” he trailed off, unsure of how to put what he wanted to say into actual words.
“What is it?” You hummed, your hand gently moving to lay flat against his chest. You could feel his heart thudding and you wiggled closer.
Bradley’s breathing caught in his throat, and suddenly he was overwhelmed by the fear of losing you.
“Nothing.”
“Okay.” You sighed, slowly turning over so your back faced him. You squeezed your eyes shut in embarrassment. You really thought he felt the same for a moment there, but you must have misread the room.
Bradley silently cursed himself. He knew the moment had passed to say anything, but it didn’t mean he couldn’t just enjoy having you there before you left again.
Edging closer, Bradley slipped a hand onto the dip of your waist, and lay his head on your pillow so he could rest his chin on your shoulder.
“Goodnight, Birdy.”
“Goodnight, Roo.”
