OH GLADLY. so ive mentioned hes the protag of a thing im making, so i wanted the broad strokes of his premise to be simple: he's a reaper! made to go up and bring souls to wherever the hell they go after death, ect ect. he was pretty good at it!

but the setting im writing here is a pretty standard "death but its a bureaucracy" type thing. something something small business growth, higher demand, things get streamlined, job title changes, ect

so he was Less Good at the desk job angle. but he worked at it! once again, he's one of the best!

is it what he was originally created to do? no. is it what he thought he'd be doing for eternity when he decided he found the most personal fulfillment in being good at what he does? not really. is it so drastically different that it's actually atrophying some facets of his personality a little? maybe. is he happy?

the important thing is, he's good at it!

hello, i'm watching one hundred years of solitude thanks to your posts and finding it absolutely captivating. i'm interested to know what you like most about the story if you feel like sharing!

I’ve been completely steeped in the book for well over half of my life, so I’m the worst person to ask about the narrative of the show—when I watch it, my brain slots in the missing context almost as quickly as the input makes its way up my visual pathway. So much of my enjoyment is rooted in how attentively the show replicates Márquez’s visual and sensory descriptions, and how ambitiously it goes about translating the lyrical prose through pacing and cinematography.

so, its pretty rough and by far not complete but this is a rough layout for the map of destiny (my zelda fancomic), i mainly took it after skyward sword but added parts of botw into it (like lanayru street, the twin mountains that were one mountain until ch3, the gerudo highlands, akkala ref; among more general map overlap)

this ones with some super rough chapter markers and some descriptions, the circle doesnt mean the chapter doesnt go to multiple places but the main happening of it is there, its again, pretty rough and lacks the correct order yet too, ill prob add that with time as i write out the scripts for the next chapters, so far i got the order until chapter 6 (chapter 4 is mostly at hylias temple and since there are alot of chapters happening there its not marked seperately)

chapter 1: demon (complete)

chapter 2: a dance of ice and fire (script done)

chapter 3: moving mountains (name not final)

chapter 4: starry night

chapter 5: a wound for a wound (placeholder name)

chapter 6: curiosity (possibly placeholder name, forgot to mark it on the map even tho i know where it goes)

most other chapters i know where and whats happening but i cant remember the exact order, i gotta make a structured chapter chart soon so i dont have to think over everything every single time i need the order

this is probably not very interesting but, even tho it is just a rough layout more for myself than anything else, i thought id share anyway, i know my handwriting when i write fast and tired is hard to read but uh .. feel free to send me an ask about it if theres anything youd like to know (do mention if you are ok with spoilers for the story)

Gotham City Map!

I looked everywhere and I couldn't find any official or unofficial map that would make sense for me. Of course canon is in shambles and really - you can't make canon accurate map. So I made my own. It took sooooo much time, and I'm no cartograph, so proportions are off, but I'm pretty content with myself.

So much reaserch...

The biggest change I did was Bristol's place. It should be North, and almost every canon map agrees. But I didn't like it. We know Batman does not patrol in Crime Alley and The Hill much, and Wayne Manor would be just too close! So I moved it closer to the Wayne Tower and more Midtown and Downtown.

Also, an ick for me are The Narrows. I always imagined The Narrows right next to CA and like every of those more crime ridden neighbourhoods. But no. And it's once again canon consistency here. And even if sometimes Narrows were more North, it's always a seperate island. The more you know I guess. It ended up fitting for me so I let it be that way.

And yes. I did add Batburger and made it be everywhere. I don't regret.
