Spy X Family AU

So! Jack Fenton is a Super Spy/Scientist who is working on a mission to investigate Amity Park. The Government has put an Information Blackout on the entire Town, so he has been assigned to infiltrate the town. When he discovers that the town is contaminated with Ectoplasm, he asks to stay there to study the Stuff.

Maddie Fenton is an Assasin who used to work for the League of Assasins, right under Talia, before she deserted the League and ran away. She ran to Amity Park because of how secluded it was, and began working as a Mercenary Assasin to make a living. She is also a Scientist who discovered Ectoplasm and wanted to study it because it reminded her of Lazarus.

They meet while studying Ectoplasm and use eachother to cement their Cover Stories (and get a new study partner).

Jazz in the child Jack adopted from a nearby Orphanage so he could blend in with a "Normal Father" Facade. She is a Liminal with Telepathic Abilities who knows everything about the other two, but keeps it a secret because she wants to psochoanalyze them. Her real parents are unknown, but that's what's fun about making your own AU, you can mess around with it.

Danny is the dog.

Just kidding, Danny is actually a Hybrid child between a Human and a Ghost who was left on Jack and Maddies doorstep as a Kid. They understood what he was immediately and took him in so he wouldn't be taken and experimented on by the GIW, pretending that he was a normal kid (and forgetting to tell him that he is a Ghost to begin with)

He doesn't even know he is a Hybrid for a while, until an accident in the Lab when he is 5 results in discovering his Ghost Form but thinking he just straight up died and brought himself back. Oh and he can see the Future sometimes, just to throw that in there.

I wonder who the Ghostly Father of this Hybrid child who can see into the future and is very powerful? Surely not the Ghost who deals with time and is also very powerful? Sure, absolutely impossible...

Anyways, thoughts on the AU?

where James is assigned to follow a drug lord on an ocean voyage and he waits for his partner to play his fake wife.

However, at the last minute, they receive information that the drug lord has a weakness for cute guys, so instead of a fake wife, James gets a fake husband, who for some reason is supposed to be his main rival, Regulus.

and for the next week he has to play the fool who doesn't realize that his husband is seducing the drug lord for information. (The seduction works for both of them in the end).

In a steddie doctor who AU neither of them are the doctor. ROBIN is the doctor and Steve is her long term companion who basically just lives in the TARDIS with her because he didn’t have a whole lot keeping him where he was originally from. They meet Eddie when they’re in Hawkins in the 80s investigating some strange events that scream of spacetime fuckery and Steve goes “can we keep him 🥺” and Robin says yes absolutely - after hitting Steve with the I Know What You Are eyes of course. Once it’s established he can come back without anyone missing him (cause yknow, time travel) Eddie is thrilled to come with them because oh my god??? Aliens are real??? TIME TRAVEL is real???? Eddie’s got enough self-authored Star Trek fanfiction hidden under his bed to not need to think twice about this decision, okay.

Cue adventures and shenanigans and Eddie having the classic companion dilemma of “I love travelling with you and also am kinda falling in love with Steve but I also have friends (the CC boys) and family (Wayne) I really care about waiting for me back in Hawkins that I can’t just abandon”. I’m thinking the solution to that is something along the lines of Steve settling down with Eddie and staying with him on Earth, either in his original time in Hawkins or somewhere/sometime else with Robin generously helping Wayne out so he can go with them.

Also Eddie demands they use time travel for the greatest possible good: allowing him to see all his favourite metal bands live in concert in their prime.

Imagine him trying and struggling to make something but only being able to create a few shaky lines. And then him memories of him getting in trouble for drawing then being forced to forget everything about it resurfacing, adding to his frustration. Yet despite all this he can't stop himself from sort of missing victim. And the stress just building up in him until it's too much and he starts to cry. Second is there but fae don't know what to do. Nightmare for everyone.

more thoughts about my "Emergent Conscious Phenomenon (ECP)" au:

i keep getting this image in my head, maybe at a point in the au when desmond and rainbow are on ever so sliiiightly better terms and just. sometimes have casual joined music sessions.

they never purposely arrange the joined music seshes. maybe the first time it happened, still in the mindscape, des had decided 'i wanna play my guitar some on the roof' and oh, rainbow's already up there, having moved his piano to the roof for the moment. but he says nothing when desmond shows up and starts strumming his guitar.

they never speak of it after, or any other times it happens. it just becomes an unspoken Thing they do sometimes and never acknowledge.

even when desmond's no longer stuck in the mindscape, and is awake and playing his guitar, he'll suddenly hear a piano join in in the back of his mind. still never gets talked about by either of them, tho.

maybe neither of them actually verbally bring it up because 'well now that we've actually acknowledged it, it just feels weird' and neither of them want that because it's one of the few things that makes their entangled existences a little more tolerable

The boy who is bothering Francisco is Frank, a clone made from the new cloning machine that the old Epsilon created so as not to have to raise the clones, they are not complete, they already make them when they are teenagers or children with already abilities.

Zak's Kur powers returned because it was not permanent for Kur to leave Zak's body since he united his soul with the child as he was his reincarnation.

It is a small drawing of what I am drawing first is THE RETURN OF KUR and the 2nd is THE ORIGINS OF THE CLONES

I don't know whether to make it a comic or write a story, I'll see.

Zak is undergoing a metamorphosis because Kur is gaining his abilities but does not control them

Zak ran away from home after a small accident, his parents were desperately looking for him. Francis joined Zak, why did Zak go to look for Francis and ended up going against Epsilon after some fights, without knowing that later GRANDPA the old Epsilon who is alive would come and when he did not see the presence of Francis and saw what happened he decided to create a new clone Frank who would be more perfect than Francisco

Now Francis is between a rock and a hard place since Frank was sent to capture Kur and kill Francis Epsilon does not say anything he simply has no authority before his creator

There’s something extraordinarily funny about Hunter anxiously pacing around while Luz meets with Eda and then as soon as Luz comes back he bombards her with the “are you okay? Did everything go okay?” and Luz is just “yeah! Everything went great Eda’s so cool I showed her my glyphs”

And Hunter just pauses because “what do you mean you showed her your glyphs that’s yoUR MURDER WEAPON WHATRE YOU DOINGGGGGG”
