Eternal Perspective: Prioritizing God's Will and Victorious Living
Last week, Notre Dame football displayed remarkable toughness, resilience, and perseverance in their victory over Texas A&M, marking their biggest road win in over a decade. Yet just yesterday, I watched them lose to an opponent that, on paper, seemed unlikely to defeat them. But Notre Dame was outplayed in nearly every aspect. This morning, the sermon at church was all about advancing God’s…

Stop walking around like a lost puppy and get into your purpose…
But I don’t know what my purpose is????
And that’s cool, but what are you doing to find out? Are you so busy trying to conceal the emptiness that’s inside that you don’t actually know how to fill the gaping hole? Distracting yourself with social media, socialising with friends, boozing, the news….. There will be endless distractions for you, especially if you have no desire to live in your purpose…. But if you do..Here are some tips..
30 mins self care each morning. Open your journal. Pray. Ask yourself questions. Listen for the answers. Practise 10 mins meditation. Read something inspiring (I read Fire Starter Sessions by Danielle Laporte - which helped me immensely when I needed to find my heart-filled purpose). Keep your phone SWITCHED OFF.
Learn to say NO. If it’s not supporting your growth, if it’s not empowering you. If it’s not watering your soul. It’s a No. This might look like saying no to the after work drinks because youre going to a talk on self development, it might look like not answering your phone because you’re about to do the guided meditation on YouTube. It might look like cancelling the date because you know deep down this guy is not the one.
GET INSPIRED. Read books, go on YouTube and find content creators who inspire you, listen to podcasts, there are people out there who will resonate with your soul. You’ll feel like the message is personally for you… go out and seek. The wisdom to inspire you to walk in your purpose is waiting for you!

honestly one of the things that's been wild for me to learn lately is that israel was responsible for enforcing the idea that the holocaust was an unparalleled genocide that stands apart from everything else that's happened in the course of human history. even before i understood well enough how deeply interconnected all genocides are, when i was a kid, i really fucking hated it. it felt so wrong to me for the holocaust to be The Genocide of human history. it felt disrespectful to other groups who had gone through genocide and it felt like weirdly dehumanizing and tokenizing to us. i didn't want to think of jews as The Group Who Went Through A Genocide, i wanted to see us how i was familiar with in our culture our holidays our art our singing our prayers. that's how i wanted other people to see us too! not that i was ashamed of what we had gone through but i just didn't want people's perception of us to just be that we were victims and i didn't want other peoples victimhood denied to them through that either. but yeah kind of wild to learn that israel and zionist rhetoric seems fairly responsible for this pet peeve of mine from childhood before i even really had a greater consciousness of solidarity or anything.

Headcanons:
I think it's fair to say that MCU Khonshu is substantially weaker than his comics counterpart (no active cult = less faith = less power, Ennead is able to punish him for doing Too Much, doesn't seem to be able to resurrect the dead without Osiris' permission when that's like ComicKhon's one useful thing, unclear if he can have multiple Fists at once), but is still stronger than the other Egyptian Gods. - Ammit was able to grow Kaiju-sized after devouring a whole bunch of hearts (at least that's how it looked visually), Khonshu just kinda like. Did it. - It took the entire Ennead council to seal Khonshu in stone, but only two avatars to seal Ammit. (That might just be how sealing works idk, maybe it can always be done with two and the Ennead was just being extra. It didn't seem like more avatars present made the process faster. If anything Ammit's was way faster than Khonshu's, but again, that could be a difference between sealing a god in a block of stone and sealing in a human body. Unclear.) - Ammit took down all the Ennead's avatars by herself in almost no time at all. She still beat Khonshu's ass (twice), but Khonshu was able to put up way more of a fight once Marc was alive again. (She commented on how Khonshu was low on faith, and that still should be the case with Marc alive. It's Avatar vs. Avatar + an entire cult.) Canon stuff aside, this Khonshu in specific could have other explanations for why he's weaker. But I haven't fully committed to that yet.

A big thing in Kaen’s canon is the whole NAMES HOLD POWER bit ( which isn't untrue , necessarily , rather this is certain for all creatures within their canon ) .  This is particularly true because they are part-god and part-fae.  It is understood , from inception , that one mustn’t hand over their “true name” without consequence.  HOWEVER .  There is a major stipulation here , especially as it pertains to Kaen’s existence , perhaps especially because they are the herald of two potent bloodlines which uphold such a rite.  Rather than this rule impacting them further , it instead influences them in a whole other manner entirely.
The original namesake of Kaëltyr was removed ENTIRELY from Kaen’s home realm ; Cernunnos went through immense measures to pull it from the tongues of history , to near-erase it from the heart of the world Kaen’s very essence was born from , and even used it to seal off their godhood when they were excommunicated / disowned.  This is a name that is very much “one which shan’t ever be spoken”.  Which sort of means there is a LOOPHOLE .  Whilst it is the lock which has kept Kaen condemned to mortality , it is also the k e y which shall unbind them .  And Kaen slowly begins to realize this as their canon progresses.  Kaen , knowing full-well the potential for danger , offers their “real namesake” to other people they are close to , often under the pretense of TRUST & DEEP FAITH in the other person.  Though I want you to consider : why … bother ?  What would be the point ?
Well.  Sure , Kaen is offering you a piece of their very existence ( which is an intimacy not many can claim ) , but it is also A CAREFUL MANIPULATION .  Don’t mistake their kindness , this is them holding out the bait of power , anticipating you to accept and wield it to the effect that it shall in turn REAWAKEN THEIR OWN .  Knowing that , the instant the other party begins openly using their name - Kaëltyr , Kaëltyr , Kaëltyr - is the very same moment the barrier between Kaen and their truest aspects begin to break away , to completely dissolve.  Making the poor soul invoking them … A MEANS TO AN END & KAEN’S RE-BEGINNING .  Saying Kaen’s true name grants them strength ; saying their true name revives their godhood ; saying their true name … Has consequences not to the favor of the one speaking it , so if they offer it to you , I only say : proceed with caution , for you know not what you call forth.

GOD,
I surrender my worries, problems, fears, and doubts to You. Your powers are vast. Empower me. Guide me. Give me the vision. Give me clarity. Open doors for me. All things come from the unseen into the seen. Strengthen my faith to trust the process. Amen.
