Soundwave had been kneeling in his root mode, checking tracks left in the ground when someone spoke up. He turned only his helm, a soft chirr coming from him. Not many expect Megatron's first to be a seemingly harmless little moth, but he is not harmless, not in the least; and right now, this mech is lucky they are just far enough from the hive that Soundwave hasn't attacked yet.

Hisses and stand up fully, frame tense in case he still needed to defend himself.

Is that a moth? Cool! Smokescreen is casually turning on his headlights, curious if the moths will like The Light

He does like light, and he's transforming into his root mode to slap that headlight tit and stare Smokescreen down.

Well, he's staring UP at Smokescreen from his dismal fifteen feet of height, but Soundwave is not deterred at all!

Soundwave just keeps staring. Gaze unblinking. He does actually blink when he's shoved with the broom, beeping indignantly before he just crawls onto the broom. Up the handle and right into Whirl's arms - where he transforms into his root mode, looking more like a mech than a moth. He's a fuzzy purple with a big, soft mane of a pastel lavender shade, and with a face hidden by an iridescent darkness not unlike a veil. Rather pretty, in this light, actually.

And then he beeps at Whirl. Rude! He only wants to talk!

"Uuuhh.....Hi. How did you- get in here?"

Soundwave says nothing - because of course he doesn't. He's a moth. Moths don't speak, are you crazy? He just stays right where he is in this nice cozy window, perched delicately on the edge, letting his wing arms hang down in front of him, and just....staring directly at this mech.

The Queen would take interest in this one. Very nice....detail work right here. Hands that made delicate things were useful in the hive, same with hands that could destroy not so delicate things. Both were useful, and Soundwave's job was to find....useful things.
