A Journey through Loss and Love

In the vast realm of dreams, there are moments that linger in our minds long after we wake. One such dream took me to a place unknown, where I encountered a lost girl in a world that transcended reality. Her tears spoke volumes, and as I delved into her story, I discovered a tapestry of memories that held the essence of her being.

The Enigmatic Encounter:

It began with a mysterious setting — neither familiar nor foreign. I found myself standing before a girl, her eyes reflecting an ocean of sorrow. She was crying, and my instinct was to comfort her. "What happened?" I asked, seeking to understand the source of her anguish. Her reply echoed in the space around us, "I lost everybody."

Navigating the Landscape of the Mind:

As I probed further, questioning our whereabouts, she uttered words that sent shivers down my spine: "We are in my mind." The scenery around us morphed into an enchanting panorama, bursting with colors and emotions. It was a place where reality blended seamlessly with the surreal, like a painting brought to life. I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty that surrounded us.

A Puzzling Paradox:

Confounded by the paradox of her serene mind despite the profound loss she claimed to have suffered, I couldn't resist asking the question that lingered in my thoughts. "Why is your mind so beautiful and peaceful if you've lost everybody?" She met my gaze, her eyes telling a tale of wisdom beyond her years. "Yes, I lost everybody, but not everything. I don't have tears of sadness; I have tears of love."

Tears of Love: Her words resonated in the air, and the realization struck me like a gentle breeze. In this dreamscape, amidst the fragments of her memories, she found solace in the love she once knew. The tears that adorned her cheeks were not born of sorrow but were rather a manifestation of the profound love etched into the canvas of her mind.

A Journey through Memories:

As I continued to explore her mental landscape, I witnessed moments of joy, laughter, and shared experiences. Each memory was a brushstroke, creating a masterpiece that defined her existence. The people she lost were not gone; they lived on within the vivid tapestry of her recollections.

The dream unfolded like a poignant narrative, leaving an indelible mark on my waking consciousness. This dream served as a reminder that even in the face of profound sadness, the beauty of cherished memories can illuminate the darkest corners of our minds. This morning, I started to feel the nostalgy when moving along the road around Saigon River, seeing the gentle flow around this city. Tomorrow is my last day in this office, marking just more than a year working with people here. Not a very good experience, I was feeling lonely for a long time here until I met O and M and started dancing again in O's event. Yesterday also was my last day at the event before I leave for Hanoi. I had a mixed feeling of both exciting to go back with my son and to start new work there, but also a lingering feeling before leaving those persons who I was very closed to, who has helped me feel the sense of being connected, and recognized, empathized and loved. I had so many happy days here, that now I started to doubt whether I could be happy the same. Now I'm not feeling very good, I think I start missing this city even when I'm still here. But i know, the challenge of time and distance will help me distinguish which connection is the sustainable one through difficulties.

I met M the day before yesterday. He is not the type of showing emotions and more of an avoidant, but he asked me if I knew that I was about to go back to Hanoi the day we met. I saw a lot of sadness in his eyes, although we have just dated for a month but i know it is not easy to let go each other at this early phase of a relationship. I was a little bit of selfish just thinking that in the last day of this city, I want to live a common dating life, having people to date, to be intimate, to be sweet with each other, I did not think much about future because I'm still leaving. Now, I really want to stay here for longer, building some foundation for the new relationships here, but somehow need to balance the career also. Somehow the sadness in his eyes makes me feel a little bit guilty. I gave my table to him, as a gift so that my presence somehow is still around him. But somehow he changed his bumble profile to Looking for casual, fun dates... I think something has changed in his mind, and he has been keeping silent since yesterday lunch. It is getting weird for me.

Today I don't feel very good, want to sleep early and hope that tomorrow i can feel better. I'm not doing anything tonight, just stay home and relax because i have been out too much. Suddenly I don't have any faith in whatever happening around me. I know that's not a good mental situation, Im trying to practice what my therapy told me, to "believe in the potential of being mutually loved and respect". Im listening to "khi nao" Trieu nai cat cover, with those beautiful melody and lyric, hoping to find its love for myself and I don't want to give up on it. I'm just a little bit exhausted these days, gonna pack my stuffs, play my piano a little bit then, go to bed early today, hoping tomorrow I would feel better. I miss those peaceful solitude days so much, but I also love having good connection with some people I'm knowing.

Dissociation Station

In the station of detachment, I stand, A passenger lost in the vast expanse of no man's land. The platform echoes with the silence of my mind, As the train of thoughts leaves reality behind.

Faces pass like fleeting shadows in the mist, In this station of dissociation, where time does not exist. The ticket to presence lost, misplaced, In the corridors of numbness, I wander, spaced.

Each platform a realm of fragmented dreams, Reality dissolves in elusive streams. The announcement speakers murmur in disarray, As I navigate the labyrinth where thoughts decay.

Trains of emotion thunder through, unheard, In this station of detachment, where feelings are blurred. The timetable of self, a puzzle unsolved, As the echoes of existence remain unresolved.

No destination, no arrival, only departure, In this dissociation station, a silent departure. A one-way ticket to a realm unknown, Where the self journeys, suspended and alone.

Faces blend into a canvas of anonymity, In this station of dissociation, a surreal symphony. The whistle of the train, a distant cry, As I linger in the echoes, wondering why.
