We are going into potential shifts in the energies associated with planets which are changing signs TOGETHER!

While the aspects these outer planets are making will eventually be OK, the movements of the faster moving, “personal planets” are creating the feelings and experiences of unease. This dynamic is creating both an underlying sense of hope & the period of intensity we’re in now. 

To help navigate the situations in your life, Adam Gainsburg specifically offered this, "Do not act impulsively. Take a breath and back up before you say anything or take any action." He makes an important divide between impulsive and decisive action, noting that the difference lies in "where I am coming from in my action."

Adam said that whether we choose to react (from unhealed aspects of ourselves) or respond (from a place of clarity and self-awareness) now will have ripple effects that we'll feel over the next six months. So taking the time to ensure you're coming from as clear a place as possible before acting.

Saturn Return

So I’m going through my Saturn return and it’s actually very interesting

I should start off by saying I have no idea what time I was born. I know the date and that it was at night, but my birth country does not regularly record birth times on birth certificates, so I can only go off  my mom’s very laborious memory.

With that being said, Saturn could be in ANY house in my chart. I’ve narrowed it down to a few, based on feedback from friends and family (ALSO my moon sign changes on my birth date so that’s been another fun activity I’ve spend the last few years decoding as well):

Aries rising, Pisces moon--Saturn in Aquarius in 11th house

Gemini rising, Pisces moon--Saturn in Aquarius 10th house

Gemini rising, Aquarius moon--Saturn in Aquarius 9th house

Leo rising, Aquarius moon--Saturn in Aquarius 7th house

As a Virgo, I’ve always been big on self-reflection and self improvement, but I’ve made it a task to focus on the areas of my life I feel most impacted by Saturn. What I can say is that I feel most restricted in the areas of life dealing with relationships (and this includes friends, lovers, associates, and colleagues).

The funny part about it is that 1) my Venus in Leo opposes my Saturn in Aquarius, so my relationships were bound to be impacted anyway, and 2) it’s me who seems to be self-isolating and pickier about my associations.

I don’t necessarily feel that people don’t want to reach out to me, spend time with me, engage me, or interact with me. Rather I feel unsatisfied, bored, and a need to level up from the relationships that I’ve been accustomed to. I cut out drugs and alcohol, partly because of my career responsibilities, but also because I didn’t like the stereotype or sorts of interactions associated with my substance use. I’ve turned down invites for events I used to jump at the opportunity of going to because they’re noisy, sloppy, and “common.” I no longer reach out to people first pretty much ever, because I have a newfound strong belief that those who want me in their life will make sure I stay.

And I have to say the biggest change for me lately has been my emotional stability. It’s not that I don’t get irritated, sad, upset, or disappointed--but my emotions run on a stable frequency, a far cry from the crazy ups and downs of my earlier 20s. In fact, I cannot remember the last time I cried because I was hurt, something I did at least monthly at 21.

I wonder if my emotional stability has anything to do with my newest habit of self isolation, and if to some degree this is a subconscious attempt at self preservation--but for some reason it doesn’t feel that way. I’m not isolating to protect myself (though I could argue that it is somewhat self-fulfilling and in a way, I could be), I’m isolating because the things, activities, and behavior that used to interest me just...don’t anymore...

I don’t want to drink, smoke, gossip, have casual sex, laugh at jokes that aren’t funny, be a trauma dump for people who refuse to change their circumstances, make myself available to people I don’t like, engage in pissing contests, brag, boast, or prove myself to anyone or anything anymore.

I just want to be. I want to only do things that will make me feel good and make me a better person. Unfortunately (and perhaps the part of this that could be considered a “Saturn” lesson) is that I’m having trouble finding people who resonate with me in this way...and I wonder if I ever will.

A quick update: I’m currently starting my last year in university (after studying for WAY too long, sagittarius energy problems am I right).
