i was actually gonna write another post earlier about aaron's current arc of grief and loss and how chas' storyline fits into it and will be the turning point for his character but after this episode i cant stop thinking how they keep slowly reminding us of everything aaron lost. liv, rob, seb. aaron himself told vinny last year he had "lost too much". he thinks he can't lose more than he already has but now his mum might die and we know the state he was in last month when he thought she had been shot. today's ep just kinda brought it all home to me. aaron's redemption is coming, and so is everything he lost <3

my latest dumb emmerdale theory is: what if robert's already got out of prison, but he doesn't want aaron to know, because he's not ready to face him yet? and maybe victoria already knows but she doesn't want to tell aaron bc she thinks that's the final straw that would break him completely.

and somehow cain finds out and when he and aaron have their big fight, he snaps and tells aaron that robert's out but he doesn't want to see him. and that's what makes aaron lose it and put him in hospital. it could be this big reveal that's the cliffhanger of the episode

So speculating that Ryan is working for either a movie or a series being filmed in Serbia, he could come back to Emmerdale when that's over.

They would want to max up the drama before he comes, so big stuff going on with Vic, and very big stuff going on with Aaron and that means autumn at the earliest or next year this time

From the Jenna Coleman archives comes this little chestnut from Ireland. A tabloid there regurgitated the Daily Fail's (long-debunked) speculation about Harry and Jenna supposedly dating back in 2015 simply based on the two being photographed talking at an event. This rumour even made it into a biography of Harry that was published ahead of his wedding to Meghan Markle (trivia: Jenna once read for Meghan's role in the TV series Suits!). And while the Irish Mirror didn't go so far as to suggest a royal wedding was imminent like SOME media did at the time, it did give them an excuse to run a retrospective of Jenna's career up to that time since she wouldn't have been well known in Ireland beyond Doctor Who.

In the article, they include some images of images of her from Emmerdale and Waterloo Road I haven't seen before. Which is as good an excuse as any to post this link. Even if it's a story based on polo pony poop.

A familiar face not everybody is glad to see? Rob. I think the only person who will be happy to see him will be Vic. Aaron will be torn between wanting to kiss him or punching him in the face. Chaddy will be trying to get him sent back down.

Two people going missing and one of them facing serious consequences - robron running off together but Rob violates his parole. (the serious consequences will last 5 minutes - as usual)

A character not keeping it together as well as people think - that's gotta be Aaron. And if there is something wrong with Aaron, Rob is there to try and make it better. But because they're both a mess it doesn't work as well as he wants.

See? It all works out!

about that big storyline for chas next year, what if her involvement in the mack/charity/chloe mess next week does trigger her ptsd after one of them gets shot (probably harry?) and then chas starts spiraling again like she did after robert got shot, and she ended up stabbing diane? her new plot is supposed to rip the dingles apart, so maybe she will hurt someone in the family? she will also eventually reconcile with aaron, so what if she starts hallucinating seeing robert around the village? only it turns out the robert she keeps seeing is not a hallucination but the real one come back from prison? that would be a nice soapy twist haha
