Yeah, it was quite costly….but he did get it to me 2 days earlier than predicted, so I’m very thankful for that. Windows 10 is such a bitch, though…God, I knew it was awful but really…a ridiculously convoluted permission system to access my own external hard drive? What the ever loving fuck??

I just saw it differently with Bunty. Like not only for the prestige or the fame but for his future whole. Like being concerned Saorise would stop him from going to college or leaving the town for playing for some famous football team and stuff. But she is your character, I just misred her motives 🤔

I totally see where you’re coming from, and I definitely see that her actions could be construed as being in Roy’s best interests, and that is what Bunty is telling herself too. But she is someone I quite despise bc she is so superficial and self-absorbed and I really wanted to communicate that to readers, and I felt like I had failed in that respect. So in the next couple of posts I doubled my efforts to show her true character!

@elleinvogue I think this is what your asking. Let me know if I’m wrong, but this is the way I used to launch my game.

Find where your game is installed. It will either be the Origin Games or Electronic Arts Directory. Go to Program Files/Origin Games (or Electronic Arts)/The Sims 3/Game/Bin. Then right click the TS3W.exe file and send to your desktop to create a shortcut. 

That will bypass the EA launcher and start your game.

I use 3booter and fps limiter so I start my game with 3booter. The process is the same though. If the icon shortcut for 3booter is not on your desktop I just right click it and send it to that location.

And next thing you know everyone in the neighborhood are immortal vampires? :P (Is? Are? I cannot for the life of me figure out the grammar on that sentence.) I’ve done it for a few other sims in the hood occasionally. Ella probably deserves it, since I set her age close to Jules’s when she moved in rather than leaving her at the beginning of the adult stage.

I am here to serve (as a font of questionably useful information)! Like Didily (and me) says above, there’s also an ‘old and never married’ fear, though it should probably be unmarried or not married, since I’ve had sims who were divorced or widowed but had definitely been married roll that one. :P

...It has literally only now occurred to me that kicky bag is supposed to be a hacky sack game. I wonder if hacky sack wasn’t considered a generic trademark when they made TS2, but had become one by the time they put it in TS3? Or it was just EA being a bit inconsistent again. :D

I feel like the twins would have some interesting feelings if their dad had another kid right after he became an elder. :) I also noticed Ella only has a bit more until she's an elder, too. I noticed she's a family sim, but doesn't seem too interested in nooboos.

She actually had some baby wants at the beginning of the round, but they rolled away after a while. Jules had one too when I opened the house... but also a baby fear. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was obsessed with mummies and bog-bodies when I was 7 to 11 years old, like seriously it’s a miracle my parents weren’t freaked out at all. I did presentations on school about things like Ötzi the iceman when I was 8, shit I hope I didn’t traumatize them for life. + you guys might now I’m an artist and studying for my masters degree right now. I use a lot of (dried) flowers and plants in my artworks + dead insects like moths and bumblebees. oké I understand now why they called me the scary kid in highschool...

They are Golden Orbs, and there were dozens of them forming a canopy over the paths leading through the Botanical Gardens. I have no fear of spiders and find them beautiful and fascinating. :D And thank you for the compliment!

Obvs now you gotta go on a mass patterned wallpaper download & merging spree! ;D (Seriously, I finished merging all my walls and it’s so much better now. Doesn’t do anything to keep the actual catalog tidy, tho.)

The patterned wallpapers are my new decorating thing. I usually pick one or two wall sets and overuse them for months, then move onto the new thing. The Holy Simoly concrete... Cosette’s Iron Ghosts painted walls... now it’s patterned wallpapers and that massive wall-set Honeywell at MTS made.

I did my farm with a house then built it up but I cheated to have money for the biggest plot.

I’m going to legit try not to cheat (something I’ve never done before LOL) and start her off with an outhouse and a sleeping bag. I just bought a plot of land with $14.7k out of 16.5 k. I’m thinking about buying something expensive and deleting it so she starts with absolutely nothing.
