Humble proposal: Buzzfeed Unsolved/ Ghost Files Ninjago au (in a normal world), where Ryan is Lloyd and Shane is Morro. Morro is a pure skeptic & thinks Lloyd is being an idiot (he always says it’s the wind), meanwhile Lloyd is constantly being pranked by his weird ass ancestors who are just trying to get his attention.

i know tlnm is non canon but i wanna talk about how they actually give the best explanation for lloyds element, that we actually never really got told straight up throughout .. all of the series? actually?

like in the show we know the green ninja is ultimately the most powerful, the teams leader, the one that brings all elements together, yadda yadda.. but we don’t actually know why it’s . green. like. why are we the green ninja? why are we green? what is this mountain dew power exploding out ur palms?

but the movie hits the nail on the head.

the ending scene really sums it up. and it’s such a beautiful scene. i’ve actually memorised his monologue,,ahem,, allow me

“green is the colour of life. it flows through all living things, connecting them all. just like I..connect the ninjas.”

it’s so ..to the point? it’s so simple. but that is his element. life. vitality. growth. he allows all of the other elements to flow, and live and thrive by connecting his team together. and this is apparent in the shows canon, especially as lloyd grows older. it’s such a random one off line from the movie but it means so so much to me.. such a defining moment for lloyd as a character i fear.

So you peeps know how I have way too many AUs about these two? Well here’s another! In old romantic Finnish movies there’s this cliche setting of rugged lumberjack charming the farm owners/lords daughter when passing by their lands. Kinda more like watery lady and the tramp. This profession isn’t like the more represented lumberjacks with red flannels etc. but people who moved logs through rivers riding on them and poking with long sticks. Usually young men that didn’t have their own farm so they were considered “free spirited travellers”.

I only have the slightest scrape of actual information about this profession so take my jabbering more like extremely romanticised version!

If so, I have something to say ✋️...

First off, they are about the same age all but not exactly the same age. Lilly and Libber are in first year, Ray is in the second year, Maya is in third.

I'd like to include Wu and Garmadon but I think they were the way they are in the movie by the time this team was in high school too.

If we also wanna include the non-ninja parents, Lou's in first year too and Cliff is second. Oh also they both are in the drama club at school and Cliff has a beef with Lou because Lou is the unofficial leader of the club but he is younger than Cliff. I don't think Lou is aware though, lmao.

Ed and Edna were graduates at that point I guess. Maybe two or three years ago, I believe only Maya would know them from school, she was in first year when they were last.

Lilly and Libber also DESPISE each other in the beginning. Libber is the popular but genuinely nice girl. She is smart, friendly, pretty and also comes from a rich family. Students, teachers, everyone loves her she is just so lovable, but she tends to look "fake" to some for her flawless image. Not the best but a good student, attentive during classes, attentive to people around her, she does everything right and everyone sees that. Some believe there ain't no way she is this perfect.

Libber likes this image, she likes being nice and loved, but Lilly is a threat to this image because unlike any other Lilly somehow gets on EVERY SINGLE NERVE on Libber and often makes her break her perfect persona by making Libber argue with her.

Lilly is a certified troublemaker, the anarchist of the school in a way. She always has something to say when there is injustice, she can not keep her mouth shut when something is unacceptable which always gets her in trouble. She is also pretty into her own freedom. One thing about her, is that Lilly always does what she wants. She also escapes the school for fun almost often. All her troubles would get her expelled if her grades weren't as high as they were.

Eventually, being part of the same team they develop a better relationship, even sorta becoming friends who have the "only I can beat her ass" dynamic but they often fight and bully each other still.

Maya is the brilliant student and ninja. She is ready for every situation, there is almost no situation she can not get out. She is the perfect example of an ambivert, has the biggest sunshine evergy yet she is the calmest and most unphased during moments of terror. Kind of like the heart of the team, if she was to panic everyone would freak out too. She also keeps everyone together, stops the two youngest girls when they are at each other's throat. A good baker too, she often packs things for her friends, and was the one to say "we are friends" first in the team. In a way the others can not understand, she loves studying and learning, she is the most attentive to the ninja trainings too.

Ray is the jester type of student. He is good enough to pass the class, and he is trying his best and he is good ta heart but his deal is mostly that he is good at sports and has cool hobies like knowing how to fight using swords. He is also the only one that is down to start a school revolution with Lilly willingly. He is not the starter of trouble, but he is down if you're down, you know. He won't hesitate to throw punches when he needs to. He is well known and loved. He is often very forgetful of important stuff, forgets to pack the right stuff for school, forgets to attend extra classes and events, even forgets to bring food to school.

Ray and Maya were already dating when the secret ninja force was formed. They are also the first ones to be recruited. Like I said, Maya loves treating her friends and Ray is often almost careless. He cares about others but when it comes to himself he can be negligent. It's not that Ray is dependent on Maya, or Maya is acting like a mother to him, it's just that Maya likes to remind him that he should be cared well for too. After some time Ray starts helping her in the cooking club to lessen her responsibility and takes the duty of bringing the food to others in school after Maya and others are done cooking their stuff.

Libber meets Cliff in a random day, he is kind of a womanizer as well in this universe, he is often shooting his shot with people. Libber is kinda aware of this, but she is also pretty impressed at how it works. She kinda believes she can change him after he starts to stop hitting on everyone and starts trying his shot almost solely on Libber. Maybe because Libber wasn't all that blown away by him at first, as she is on an equal position at school hierarchy. The school thinks they'd be the perfect match, which they seem to agree.

Lilly and Lou start getting close kinda by accident. They knew each other briefly from some classes they share as they are both on their first year, though they weren't exactly friends. Despite Lilly thinking he is cooler than most "cool kids" for the fact that he just minds his own business and runs the drama club, she never aproached him. That is until she gets seperated from the ninja during an attack and finds herself thrown to the remains of broken buildings. The attack happens during a school trip so students are all around, and Lou happens to see her. He doesn't know who the ninja is, obviously, but he still goes up to her to ask if she is okay and helps her get back up on her feet, being the only one to do so. This makes Lilly realise he is also a good person, and after being friends she reveals her identity to him.

Eh maybe I keep writing this some time, lol.

oh yeah no i'm aware of the point of this au being that their personalities are more or less the same, just the roles they place in the story. i just forgot the word 'redeemed' and was unsure how to word it without it being to clutter-y. i usually try not to swarm inboxes with my ramblings😅

this point is actually what fascinates me in your au so much! like, it gives so much room to play around with, yet still stays true to the show :) IT'S SUCH A GOOD AU!!

if i'm understanding right now, you are/were asking how wander gets redeemed, or how it would go down when he does (sorry if that's still not really your question)? because i have plans i cannot share with you lest my enemies (the creatures in my brain that keep me from actively doing anything) try to strike me down... but the event would be ermmm Power of friendship, to be as vague as possible, and it would have to do with the strength of the bond between meteor and peepers and esp the bond between sylvia and wander..... i want to say more but i cant without spoiling what im cooking......

[For the Anastasia AU ask game] Back to the Future? (I mean, did you expect anything else from me...?)

Send me a piece of media and I'll tell you how I'd do an Anastasia!AU for it!

Oooooh, that's going to be tough because I've only seen the film once and that was probably...somewhere around 10 years ago? But let's give it a go. (I apologize in advance if this doesn't actually fit.)

In order to keep the royalty element, I'd stick Marty and co. in a fictional country that recently overthrew their monarchy and replaced it with communism. The country is buzzing with the rumor that the youngest of the king and queen's three children survived. Meanwhile, Marty, as above, has amnesia and is trying to eek out a meager living while trying to piece together who he is, only having bizarre flashes of memory fragments to go off of--fire, nearly being run down by a strange-looking car, blinding flashes of light, the sound of tires squealing against the pavement. He arrives in this fictional country's version of Twin Pines, where he finds himself drawn to Doc, former Scientist to the Crown, who's now working as...something that is definitely not science and is unquestionably beneath his ability/skill level. Doc, much like Marty, exists on the fringes of society as the sort of person that everyone else tends to avoid because they're different and weird and tend to say stuff that doesn't make any sense and are probably doing things that could probably get them in a lot of trouble with the law. Which Doc is, by the way. Doing things that could get him in a lot of trouble with the law, I mean. Idk what he's doing exactly (probably multiple different things), but he's doing it to earn money to fund his scientific experiments and hopefully get out so he can relocate to somewhere he can have the freedom to pursue his scientific endeavors.

Now, this next part's a bit tricky, because Doc is, at heart, a very kind person who would absolutely never intentionally do anything that would ever hurt his good friend Marvin (or whatever the heck's going by at this point in time), but let's see if we can make this work. Soon, what remains of the government in exile announces a monetary reward for whoever finds the Lost Prince, Marty McFly. This gets Doc's brain going, and he starts to put some details together in a rather "I've connected the two dots/you haven't connected shit" sort of a way. Dates line up, places line up, and the kid even sort of looks like the lost prince. And if he is the prince, the reward money is more than enough to get Doc (and Marty, because Doc doesn't really think through the idea that Marty being the prince would lead to their separation) out of this fictional country and set them up with the tools and equipment to do Science™️. Doc uses his knowledge of palace life to teach Marty how to be a prince as they make their way towards Fictional Country #2 where the government in exile is currently exiled. Marty slowly begins to regain more and more of his memories, though they don't paint the happiest picture.

After they arrive in Fictional Country #2 and start to prepare to meet with the Fictional Country #1 Government in Exile (which is mostly going shopping for snazzy new clothes), Marty starts to realize that, this whole time, Doc has been more motivated by money (and freedom) than by the idea that Marty actually may be the lost prince, that Doc has been twisting the facts in his mind to fit the picture he wants to paint. And Doc starts to realize this, too, and he is absolutely horrified because, again, he'd never do anything to hurt his friend, and now...he has.

And just before realizing this, Doc also realizes that, if Marty is the Lost Prince (which Doc hopes he is, after all this), Marty is going to stay in Fictional Country #2 to take his place as the exiled king leading Fictional Country #1's government in exile as well as take his place in Europe's royalty. Sure, maybe they'll still get to see each other here and there, but it'll never be the same; they'll never again get to live in the same world.

Marty is understandably angry and decides he needs his space. Doc decides that the best thing he can possibly do is respect this, so he wishes Marty the most genuine, heart-felt "good luck" he can and starts making arrangements to return to Fictional Country #1 (because without the reward money, he can't afford to start a new life in a new country; there also a definite element of some self-flagellation in there as well).

I guess Biff gets to play the role of Gleb, working as an agent for the government of Fictional Country #1, which has a vested interest in not having any of the members of its former royal family return from the dead. Biff's mission is to either bring Marty back to Fictional Country #1 to be made an example of (if he's not the lost prince) or kill him (if he is). So at this point, Biff has been following Marty and Doc for their entire journey, and this is the moment he chooses to make his move, having determined that Marty is, in fact, the lost prince, and therefore he needs to die.

Marty, of course, isn't going down without a fight. The ensuing fisticuffs somehow catch Doc's attention, as he's still nearby and hasn't left yet. He joins in the fight, probably with the help of an invention or two, and quite literally throws himself in front of Marty to protect him from Biff once Biff reaches for his gun. Biff doesn't get the chance to fire because Marty is able to use whatever invention Doc brought along to defeat Biff once and for all (he doesn't die, of course; he just ends up getting arrested by the proper authorities).

Doc and Marty hug it out. They don't have to say much to convey their apologies to one another. They decide to ditch the whole lost prince business and find a place for themselves in Fictional Country #2, starting from scratch, because they don't need much as long as they have each other.

I'm still working on the storyline and basic plot, but it's basically Elemental but if it was an action/drama/horror based movie !! In this, Ember and Wade are enemies (to lovers 👀)

Object Class: Apollyon/ Thaumiel

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-AGU cannot be contained and it's for the best it never is, without SCP-AGU a lot of the universe would have been wiped out. As such if Space Task Fleet Apollo-1 "Orion's Belt" is to ever encounter SCP-AGU they are to leave it alone as it passes by. 

Though this is only to be a priority once it exists in our reality, as of late it only exists in reality Omicorn-420. The SCP Foundation within Omicorn-420 is to leave SCP-AGU alone but assist it in any way possible.

Description: SCP-AGU is a small little creature that has a round body of 8 inches in diameter two stubby arms and stubby red feet. It has two dot like blue eyes and a small mouth that surprisingly can extend to a 1 foot wide in diameter any time its want's. SCP-AGU's whole body can stretch like rubber and is practically indestructible because of it. SCP-AGU can also walk surprisingly fast and hold objects with great ease despite having limbs no different to a penguin. However, none of this is equivalent to SCP-AGU's true abilities. 

SCP-AGU has the ability to not only extend its mouth but be able to breath in anything around it with a force equivalent to a vortex. Should SCP-AGU devour an organic life form it will absorb their natural abilities and temporarily be able to use them as its own. What's most anomalous about this ability is that there are no known limits, to what can and can't be absorbed. From what has been observed SCP-AGU can absorb skills, anomalous powers, physical traits, and even weapons, armor, and augmentations. 

These abilities can last so long as SCP-AGU wants them to, though they will forcibly cease if he suffers even minor damage. It's also possible for SCP-AGU to transform these collected abilities into little star like objects labeled as SCP-AGU-Stars. SCP-AGU-Stars can be stored by SCP-AGU so that it can be used at a later date. It's also possible to stack abilities on each other making SCP-AGU stronger without any draw backs. With all of this it's nearly impossible to defeat SCP-AGU, he even has been able to defeat creatures of great power and even monsters of the Abyss. 

SCP-AGU was discovered in [data expunged by order of the O5 Council] by the Οmicorn-420 variant of the Foundation. For those that don't know Οmicorn-420 is used to label a reality in which earth has been destroyed by a [data expunged by order of the O5 Council] invasion. In this reality the Foundation and many other Groups of Interest that were in possession of Teleportation and space travel escorted the survivors off world. Unfortunately, this allowed the veil to be broken and with earth destroyed there was no way to utilize SCP-2000 thus humanity was forever exposed to the anomalous universe. 

Though within this reality, new anomalies manifested including anomalies that spanned across different worlds, why or how this is the case is unknown. One of those anomalies was SCP-AGU itself which saved an entire colony ship during its discovery. SCP-AGU was also reported liberated a number of planets from hostile Species of Interest and anomalous threats. SCP-AGU was originally considered a possible threat that only saved lives by luck alone but as time went on it became obvious; he was a defender of all innocent life. There are even ancient ruins hidden throughout the Galaxy that he belonged to a race called the [data expunged by the O5 Council] or Star Defenders as translated. They are tiny but powerful creatures that defended all forms of life against the Chaos Gods during the First war. It's unknown if the same scenario occurred in our universe. Currently there seems to be no way to identify if SCP-AGU exists in our reality as in the Οmicorn-420 reality he was discovered within, entirely by accident.

Thankfully within the Foundation, time is on our side. Until then the Department of Universal Affairs - Multiverse Management Division is in charge of maintaining contact with Omicorn-420. SCP-AGU is recognized within Omicron-420 as an eternal ally of the United Galactic Anomalous Organizations which is the ACPA equivalent within Omicron-420. it is the solemn duty of all members to protect SCP-AGU to ensure he will continue to protect humanity. It will be the ACPA's duty to do the same if and when we encounter SCP-AGU in our reality.

Something about Altered Loyalties CYLAS just really makes me want to include him in the first place but also makes me really really REALLY think that with the more supernatural elements of AL based off of the original TFP pilot (or just first episode/s?) that CYLAS as a ‘dead man walking’ would actually let him stay around longer AND also be a very significant contributing factor to Megatron’s downfall in Decepticon favour!

Of course it’s not as if I have the pieces of the TFP rewrite au firmly put into place, CYLAS in canon shows up just over halfway into season 2, and many of my most established changes occur in the first like… including all the parts of ‘Darkness Rising’ 8 episodes of season one; I have no idea if the environment CYLAS presents himself in is the same one canon CYLAS does.

But with the dubiousity between s1 e8 all the way to s2 e19, I’ll establish the basic context… I think in story mode maybe…

Looking at the general timeline for the Aligned Continuity, it says that the first contact of cybertronians on Earth is dated to about 500 years before the show, give or take a decade. I’ve been listing Skyquake’s little EHP pitstop to have existed at least 50 years before the war reached our planet, but what if I pushed it all the way back to 500; if a vorn is 83 years, that’d be about 6 years on an entirely different planet not knowing truly if your twin is going to make it, a planet which by the way presently has no established radio systems that it’s horrifically quiet for a terrestrial environment.

That means that Skyquake’s EHP Comms Array has been transmitting a signal long before humans had developed radio, which also means that what might’ve been blatantly an anomaly in the system if discovered 50 odd years previous to 2012 (which would’ve been in the 60s give or take which would not have been good in the literal middle of the cold war era) has been going for centuries because it had always been there, there is no anomaly because it is a signal that has existed ever since humans were able to manipulate radiowaves into sending messages and translate them into detectable noise. It helps that cybertronian language and code (both code lang and like literal programming code) is a system unknown to humans developing their own language.

And you may be asking, why did I divert this post from talking about CYLAS and how he’d outlast his canon alternate to radio shit? Well, if you were a paramilitary organisation who is pretty good at erasing signals and you discovered a signal that has been actively running for the entirety of human radio has suddenly been silenced, what would you begin to suspect at that?

Aliens may potentially be a stretch but MECH didn’t just name themselves after the cybertronians fighting war on their planet, and once the cybertronian conflict touched down on Earth, the Decepticons hadn’t a need for an intergalactic communications array and in fact was specifically instructed to switch it off in an effort to prevent the Autobots from using it. That would’ve been about maybe 6 years ago for the show (wow just enough equivalent time to match what Skyquake felt he spent grounded to one radio tower look at that) and though MECH would not encounter their first cybertronian until ‘Convoy’ (haha wait that’s s1 e9 the next ep to cover - if necessary - for Altered Loyalties lmao), they would’ve had 6 years to find that missing signal and stumble across some very definitely alien technology.

That is one of the reasons why the rewrite of ‘Masters and Students’ which is less masters and students focused - rather the point is Skyquake, a team of Nemesis stationed vehcions and Starscream investigate the comms array and set it up manually - why the radio tower wasn’t switching on from a remote position.

The other reason was because the Guardian unit stationed at the comms array - the very ones that had accompanied Skyquake all those stellar cycles ago - had gone missing. Why?

Because of Megatron’s flagrant use of Dark Energon.

Points 1 and 2 listed above leads to the explosion of the comms array, the death of Skyquake, and MECH either being alerted to the point of alien contact or just in general going to the site for more study only to find a dead specimen. After the discovery of the Autobots with the body of Skyquake, MECH begins their initial study and dissection of cybertronian physiology, though without a live subject they couldn’t exactly see what parts function in what way, especially the t-cog.

The discovery of Skyquake led to the discovery of terrorcons which lead to the discovery of how to take down a cybertron and how to take it apart without it screaming. MECH would learn the programming of a cybertronian through vehicon terrorcons since, even with DE corruption, their processors are still somewhat being maintained. While probably not able to access memories (they are fickle things, memory centres, easy to damage storage or to corrupt files) there are still systems responsible for pain and other more processor based responsibilities that aren’t centred in a physical organ that reads in fine print it’s function.

Breakdown being MECH’s first fully functional living mecha for their study is so exciting for them (even if Breakdown is very much less enthused) because they can put what knowledge they’ve pieced together to be far more efficient with their time and focus on the elements they could not decipher from either corpse or zombie and potentially try and prod at Breakdown’s brain for some cohesive coding. Good think Bulkhead still shows up when he does even with Breakdown walking away with the dreadful thought of ‘how the hell do these fleshies already know so much’ boring into his head… mainly through the optic that was still drilled out-

Whether or not MECH needs to get another living cybertronian to get caught up in their understanding of the biomechanics of them (aka would 'Operation: Bumblebee' take place as it does) or they skip right onto making a remote control Prime having gotten a headstart on their knowledge and scaring the scrap out of any bot unlucky enough to be unconscious around them, eventually Silas gets smooshed and MECH scientists are reliant on their alien dissections to get the human puree back to the land of the living.

I'd assume that this was the case in the original since if Silas' biomatter was able to be collected from a pile of robot drone induced rubble the RC truck would've been able to be recovered as well, but MECH discovers that using Nemesis Prime as a lifesupport system does not work given all it's functionality is focused on visually replicating another cybertronian, rather than using it to create life. There's a lot of parts and systems to a cybertronian's biological ecology that wasn't put into consideration for a mimic toy that prove detrimental to creating a suitable ah... skin suit essentially for Silas' blood pudding, but MECH has an abundance of corpses ready and raring to be used just so long as they piece them back together again.

Amid MECH's collection would no doubt be a mass of vehicon bodies - some untouched by energon others taken down explicitly by MECH because they were terrorcons - some terrorcons made up from the bodies of the previous conflict pre-show (and not just a hypothetical ancient war, but explicitly the conflict that culled a lot of Autobot and Decepticon officers amid the show expected vehicon death), and the very first cybertronian sample they started studying, Skyquake himself! Being at the origin of the blast at the EHP Comms Array he wasn't kept in perfect condition for one, the arm he loses as a terrorcon in the Shadowzone is still lost - it's been buried under rubble after being severed with radio tower pieces - and the monochromatic glass over his optics has long since been shattered so you can see the 'pupil' aka sensor, but seeing as how CYLAS makes Breakdown's corpse somehow look worse than what Airachnid left it as MECH probably has to suture that fucker back up because there's not way his organs have been left untouched!

And once CYLAS has been successfully integrated into his new cybertronian shell (some sort of arm, either being a loaner from another corpse or straight up just one MECH invented, it could even be a copy of the missing arm but where's the fun in that) instead of getting all high and mighty about 'being of a superior species' Silas actually bloody thinks on MECH's plans going forward. With a literal army of paramilitary personnel, from the scientists that melded human flesh with cybertronian wires to the average grunt soldier fighting between the battles of iron giants, CYLAS has something that Megatron (at least the Altered Loyalties Megatron I have written previously) has wanted from the start of the series...

An undying force.

For as large as cybertronians physically are their numbers can never match the scale of humanity, I can't remember if the books mentioned only thousands of the dead or up to a million over the course of like... a long fucking time but, that's not even the number of the human population if you're caught up with the number (nearly 8 billion alive today). And with the dead of previous battles already roaming the Earth, in a world where Megatron still being only like one dude can't command a planet wide population of zombies, the only reason he doesn't turn his blade to the weakest denominators of his forces in his plagued state is because their conscious decision to serve him is worth more than mindless servitude.

CYLAS introducing himself and MECH as a solution to this issue, and providing a show of bountiful body horror, makes not even the Decepticon high command quite as safe as they had been; not that it's been proven to be safe standing by Megatron's side given his track record of wanting his SiCs beaten or killed but...

The fact that CYLAS just so happened to have given and then promptly brutalised Dreadwing's hope that Skyquake may have been actually alive, just severely damaged (and, bond weakened from distance and prior injury, clinging to the last shreds of 'my spark didn't kill me with him' reasoning) and broke him out of the spell of blind loyalty to his once great leader.

CYLAS in this version has a little bit more longevity to his existence within the Decepticon forces, not actually a Decepticon soldier as the canon CYLAS pledged himself as but 'The Human Factor' the episode so calls itself akin to the way the American government and the human children are to the Autobots, but being able to physically go toe-to-toe with cybertronians. Megatron might be a little tired of dealing with independents after Airachnid's escapade (I do intend to make her more into a poacher/torturer type character than another Starscream so she might act out a little differently), but Silas isn't one for licking boots anytime soon and as CYLAS, Megatron is no different; you'd think he wouldn't have even done that in the first place given he's already an ex-military 'take-no-nonsense' bitch, but the Breakdown in him probably made him a lapdog...

Anyway that's a whole big post about Altered Loyalties CYLAS... or at least the in depth reasoning behind why he could still integrate himself into the story and why he'd probably have more opportunity to lasting- i prommy it's not bc i like torturing skyquake likers *wink*

I guess this is now a canon event or at least I'll try to make it canon ;)

Honestly, one of the best things to come out of TMNT Mutant Mayhem is the fact that we can finally have actual canon fanfics set in high school without them having to be Human AUs

For the Art Request, can you do the scene where Nya asks Buddy Kai how he knew Princess had the Anacondrai tattoo? That scene was just too funny for me 😆

LOL, yeah, Buddy Kai was blushing when she asked that. It was kinda cool to draw Kai in his cultist disguise, and of course, it's still fun to draw Red Nya in her kabuki disguise.
