i have some base level criticisms of the caribert quest but i did walk away with it with at least one thought i havent seen anyone parrot:

the khaenriahn curse works vaguely like how the fall of gurabad did. when liloupar swore to fuck up ormazd’s entire bloodline for three whole generations, it wasnt spoken with ill will or forward intent. she didnt say it as a promise or a threat, she said it like an eventuality.

shiruyeh and the rest of liloupar’s children werent massacred by action, they were massacred by fate. it was meant to happen.

so this curse of immortality on khaenriahn nobility and the curse of monstrosity on their half blooded children, as well as the emphasis on caribert being the loom of fate... maybe the curse of immortality wasnt so much forced upon khaenriahs nobles as it was ordained upon them.

and this victimization, this idea of seeing khaenriahns as sinners and heretics for being godless (something Multiple gods have expressed pride and hope in the possibility of, guizhong and deshret being the most notable), it just seems like an interpretation most khaenriahns have. bc when you are faithless, who else have you to blame but yourself?

Archon quest: Caribert

Caribert

I am starting the archon quest Caribert today, it seems that for those who are not fully blooded Khaenr’iah are cursed for immortality, with their body decays and memory goes foggy as the time passes by and the half bloods or does not have a Khaenr’iah’s blood gets cursed into a Hilicihurl. (I feel bad for Caribert, or any innocent people that tied to the curse, they are the innocent bystander and suffers with the curse, my dearest Caribert, I hope you find peace and conclusion to your end) 

Oh Eide, the more you talk about sneaking up to a banned section in the library and read some forbidden books, is risky and dangerous. Curiosity kills the cat and look what happened to some people (god “Orobashi”) who has the taste of forbidden knowledge? they are all gone. I know that he is in desperate to heal his son and make up his time for not being there with his son the moment he was born, however, taking up risk and accepting such power, might need something in return. Although, I understand why he is like this, for a nation who did not worship god and despises them, he is down and broken, swallows his pride and ask for help from one of the seven and there is no cure, and a small hope or miracle helps his son to communicate from an unknown power, he surely believes the power that is giving him hope, so far, it gives me doubts, to believe it wholeheartedly to something that the traveler already warned him, that abyss is risky and dangerous. 

So many questions coming in my mind right now, I don’t think that it’s the only reason why it pushes the abyss twin to side the abyss knowing about Caribert and Chlothar, also it seems that the Absyss Twin is aware how risky and dangerous the abyssal power( or perhaps its just our conscious telling this since we are aware about the abyss, I don’t know about the abyss twins thoughts). The unrecognized voice sounds like Kaeya but I am not  sure though. This mysterious power and the defiled statue of Venti, what do you have Venti? why are they targeting you? the defiled statue underground used by the abyss order and the hexenzirkel, what do you have that they lay their eyes on you? 

Also, the Statue of the seven here is eroded or more like broken, and if this happens centuries ago, probably at this time, Greater Lord Rukkhadevata might be missing or she is in state of healing herself due to forbidden knowledge because of Irminsul. (the statue of the seven is not giving us access and it says leave, like we are not allowed to touch or open the portal or use the power of dendro/god). 

After learning that I am in a perspective of my abyss twin, does it mean that time lapses or its giving us the point of view of our twin? about the mirror that is broken? perhaps, we still have our consciousness and only has the appearance of our twin during our time with Chlothar? also, Dain why so handsome? hehehe ( I missed Paimon as well, she is like my child or more like my spoiled child heheh)

Disappearance Addiction, in its original form is about a girl who uses a supernatural app on her phone to delete people. But there’s only two lines that reference that in the song. Everything else is left vague. So it can fit a man who witnessed everything he’s known vanish and in turn wants to make everything else disappear.
