Last week was crazy for me, it was stressful, overloaded with sugar and a lack of sleep, has led to my cortisol levels being heightened, and my adrenals being over active again. How do I know this? I’ve learned to listen to the signs and symptoms by body tells me. Waking randomly at 2 or 4am, sugar cravings, period pain, and extreme tiredness. I usually know this fatigue will start a few days before it does, and I know to prepare myself. I prioritize healthy eating, cut down or stop eating sugar, increase my probiotic intake, and make sure I prioritize my fluid intake and sleep. Coffee is a no-go too. So tonight I made this Green Curry, loaded with vegetables, Coconut & lime. ...and we are back down under, and home in Melbourne! I jumped off the plane, and my date and I headed straight to @healthyselfco my usual go to breakfast spot when living here previously! ❤️ The baked oats were so good, and the perfect jet-lag cure, with a double shot latte 🙌🏻 I am feeling so happy and grateful to be back.
