I think I'm gonna entierly mute the words vegetarian and vegan because the 'everyone should eat vegan its simple and easy youre just not trying' hits differently when you're physically disabled and already half starved with the things you're able to eat. Even when you know it's not talking about or thinking about disabled people at all.

random question but were you in any fandom(s) before obikin/star wars? and are you the kind of person that sets goals for new years? if so, do you have any goals for 2023? fic related or not!
I've been in other fandoms but never as involved as I am now. I wrote fic as a teenager and then never finished it (as opposed to now, of course) but never really spoke to other writers or joined communities or anything. This is way more fun!
I'm normally not a goal kind of person but for 2020 I had a goal for a sport I do that was going to be easily achievable. Instead there was a global pandemic and I couldn't go the gym for 18 months so I failed because of circumstances outside my control. I'm not saying my resolution caused the pandemic but I'm still not risking it this year. If I set writing goals there's a decent chance my hands fall off just to spite me.
I can say I want to finish one WIP though, that's not so bad 🤔 And at least one of them is short (I say, dooming myself to fifty more chapters) so I think it's achievable! Maybe I'll finish more! Maybe I'll start thirty new ones and not finish them! I am a naturally high-stress person so as long as I am not making myself miserable by accident I consider it a win.

This is great.
One of the things that really stood out to me when I visited the USA were the ads for vitamins in between food shows that showed restaurants serving plates with no vegetables on them. I remember there was a steakhouse show that had adds for Mindy Kaling's vitamin water inter-spliced. Why don't you eat vegetables??
That and the ads for prescription medications, but that's a whole other discussion.

Let's start with sketches with Barnaby, because he's a cool guy
Then, i remind you that i really love Howdy, so there are a lot of sketches with him 🤭🤭🥄 (in fact, i have a lot more of them, but i can't show them here). i'll say a few headcanons about the second two sketches!! i think Howdy cooks well because when he looked after his younger siblings or nephews, they needed to be fed. His signature dish is vegetable soup!! It is useful, nutritious, not very difficult, cheap, and you can also feed a large number of people with this soup
In my mind, Beta!Wally is quite an interesting and slightly slippery type. I would paint all my headcannons on him, but I won't. I'll just say that he's trying to look perfect, and he's also more of a poet than just Wally, who's an artist
I also apologize for the fact that I was gone for almost TWO MONTHS ( ゚□゚) actually, I have a lot of work, but I can't exhibit half of it here, and I think about the other part that it's unworthy to be here 😔🥄🥄

let’s see. what would i tell my young gay self now that im an aged 24 year old hag.
1. when you go grocery shopping alwayyyyys buy the full fat version of everything. keep good salt and olive oil in the house.
2. when girls come up to you at parties and say wow you are so tall let’s compare hand sizes they are not making fun of you. they are hitting on you.
3. just because it sucked to BE a teenager does not mean teenagers suck. be kind to them.
4. whatever mental health mindfulness initiative you are doing will not work unless you are sleeping enough, eating enough, and going outside once in a while. work on that also.
5. be direct about what you want. ask for it.
6. the whole point of being queer is that there’s no right or wrong way to do it so you might as well just get out there
7. read things written by people who are different from you. leave your neighborhood regularly. challenge yourself.
8. vote in literally every election you are allowed to. some of your friends and neighbors can’t.
9. your body is a temple which means you get to decorate it however you want. however don’t put pink whitney in there that shit is narsty.
10. find as many spaces as you can where you can be authentically yourself and then one more where you can authentically be a huge bitch when you need to
11. never reply online. screenshot it and bitch about it with your friends first.
12. you can do whatever you want forever. keep it sexy. prioritize joy and do good for yourself and others.👍
