With the liberation of Palestine, every other group oppressed and suffering from genocide will be free as well. Recognize the genocides and look for freedom.
Free Armenia (genocides perpetrated by the Ottomans and the current occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh)
Free Sudan (mass rapes and murders are occurring there by the hand of the RSF. Sudan has the biggest displacement crisis in the world with +9 million people displaced)
Free Western Sahara (abandoned by the Spanish State in 1975, who is responsible for the celebration of the referendum of independence that has been frozen for over 50 years, currently occupied by the Alawite government of Morocco)
Free Congo (children forced to extract metals used for electronic devices in terrible conditions alongside mass displacement and violence. (DON´T BUY NEW PHONES YOURS IS FINE. QUIT VAPING AND IF YOU CAN´T, REUSE THEM)
Free the American Natives (Landback!!)
Free Ukraine (Holomodor and Russian aggression)
Uyghur genocide (People´s Republic of China sending native inhabitants to concentration camps and re-education camps)
This is by no means a comprehensive list, please add more to this in the reblogs.
CONDEMN THE STATES AND COLONIES OF FRANCE, THE USA, UK, GERMANY, SPAIN, JAPAN AND RUSSIA FOR THEIR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY. DEMAND RESPONSIBILITY AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF GENOCIDES.

I (and my alt @asstroyess) will be once again participating in this months strike, it will be from February 18th - February 25th!
I won’t be posting anything but Palestine (along with any other country going through oppression and genocide) related information and I encourage you to do the same! Posting about your favorite shows can wait, but Palestine cannot.
Even if you can’t do much, simply sharing as much information about Palestine as you can, can go a long way and educate others!
Here are some links to donation sites and charities as well:
Operation Olive Branch - a link to a spreadsheet of compiled fundraisers you can donate to, including many families
A Twitter Thread of Fundraisers!
Care-For-Gaza’s PayPal to donate flour bags to Gaza
Mutual Aid Diabetes’ link to multiple fundraisers to help diabetics in Gaza
Twitter Thread on how to help not only Palestine, but also Congo, Sudan, East Turkestan, Uyghurs, and more
And a Twitter thread of 7 ways to strike with links with more information!
Along with another basic how to strike if your unsure how:

Hi there, please make sure to remember about the global strike called by user @/alien_bunny_ on twitter .
It goes from the 18th to the 25th, and this strike concerns all the genocides happenning lately.
The goals of it are: To stand up against genocide worldwide, to spread info and resources for countries in need and to impact the sales of companies profiting off genocide.
How should we do this? By stopping the economic movement during the scheduled time (AKKA buying only the necessary, boycotting and having bought everything before), protesting and contacting your reps, coordinating with your community to stand up against genocide, using social media only to spread awareness during the designed week (by those means, my requests will be closed and those asked before put on schedule), and many more. I highly recommend giving a look at this person's account and informing yourself further. Farewell

i really need y'all to be more careful about who you interact with on the left, particularly for leftists living in the imperial core. many left wing spaces are dominated by people who engage in outright genocide denial and defending imperialist powers as long as they seem like they're opposing the US (even though taking a quick little peek into their activities shows that this isn't necessarily the case). many people experience real, tangible harm at the hands of powers that many anglophone leftists will uncritically defend - syrian, uyghur, tibetan, kurdish, ukrainian, and congolese people deserve your solidarity also and there are people from all of these groups who have been outright harassed by white "leftists". just because a genocide is being committed by a country the US pretends it dislikes doesn't mean that it's just CIA propaganda, and this not only erases the very real harm being inflicted on vulnerable people, it also erases US involvement in these genocides. han chauvinists regularly harass uyghurs online and congolese people trying to talk about the role of chinese companies in their genocides have been harassed as well. if you sincerely believe people's liberation struggles are CIA psyops because you like the countries people are trying to liberate themselves from, you're not an anti-imperialist, you're just an imperialist who likes the color red.

Beautiful Non-National Flags, Part 1
So many people see and love the flags of the 193 UN recognized nations, but I want to take a look at a few of my favorite regional/provincial/people group flags around the world.
One of my favorite flags, and I think one of the most beautiful flags, is the banner of East Turkestan
Tumblr media
The Kökbayraq, or sky flag, represents both the geographic region of East Turkestan, and the Uyghur people, a Turkic people group located in what is now Xinjiang Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China (PRC). The flag was flown by the short lived (one year) reign of the Republic of East Turkestan (1933-34), and has been used by the diaspora of the Uyghur people as they flee the authoritarian rule of the PRC. In the modern day, it serves as symbol of protest against the ongoing genocide being conducted by the Chinese Communist Property.
The beautiful simplicity of the flag and its striking blue color make the flag instantly eye-catching. It's similarity to the Turkish flag is no coincidence, it was designed to harken back to the Turkish flag. The beautiful sky blue represents all Turkic people. While the crescent and star can represent Islam, in this flag the crescent represents the idea of being victorious, and the star represents the nation itself.
The flag follows a 2:3 ratio and all of the design aspects follow the same guidelines as the flag of Türkiye. It was formalized and adopted in 1993 and the East Turkestan Government in Exile claims it at the official flag of the Republic of East Turkestan
As this is a flag I personally own, I'm more than happy to fly it when I can and speak about it. This flag is easily in my Top Ten list because of it's beauty, and I've used the the exact shade of blue in a couple of flag designs.
I highly recommend anyone interested research the culture and history of the Uyghur people, and learn about their plight as they're subjugated under the iron fist of the Chinese Communist Party.

Cry harder
Turns out that Biden's failing mental health occasionally leads to him committing one of the biggest taboos in politics: telling the truth. There's exactly two good things about this administration-its Russia policy and its China policy. Fuck the genocidal autocrats in Beijing and all who support them. I don't believe anything Trump promises because, unlike the leftist media, I'm not fucking retarded, but it'd be great if he decided to do something like start giving some on-the-down-low support to the East Turkestan movement and/or other groups promoting an independent Xinjiang. A more realistic wish would be a full-on revocation of the treatment of Hong Kong and Macau as sovereign or semi-sovereign in any way, because they're nothing but puppets and have been for half a decade now. The House recently passed a bill that made a small step towards that regarding Hong Kong trade offices, but as far as I've seen it hasn't hit the Senate yet. Tl;dr-Sleepy Joe's right and he'd better not try to apologize or walk this back. The best thing he can do after speaking the God's honest truth is own it.

Longing - Fatimah Abdulghafur Seyyah - China/East Turkestan
Translator: Munawwar Abdulla (Uyghur)
Somebody asked: Have you written poems for your homeland? The earth shook, my fingers were still. Will grief-pressed weighted shoulders move from mountain to mountain?
Could Homeland be strong tea That quenches thirst and gives pleasure? Could Homeland be the narrow path Whose trees give shade yet When barred is desert wilderness?
Or is it the sunlight of a tense noon That reddens your two cheeks? Perhaps it is the reflection of a full moon Branded on a lonely river.
Or the plaintive call of the athaan That has settled in your souls. Or the whooshing winds of summer That blew us straight to a smile.
Could Homeland be the rain perhaps That awoke mercy in a parched heart? Or say the thick snowfalls of winter That pressed all of life to its breast?
Homeland – Maybe it is that fistful of soil That you never take out of your cabinet. Maybe it is that group of people Which does not churn your heart.
Homeland – A tembur’s sound, a dutar’s voice. A red-faced pomegranate seller, A girl looking down in a green scarf, A pair of laughing brown eyes, One verse of Uyghur’s words, One endless love, Perhaps tears frozen in the form of droplets, That no one could wipe away.
