Eobard Thawne- (Flash) AU Chapter 1

There were always times where the team would have to make a tough decision. It almost always happened when Eobard Thawne showed up. You felt for Barry. No matter how many times he’d defeated him, somehow he would always come back. But this time, it felt different.

Like this was it. The last time Thawne would get his way.

They needed someone connected to the speedforce to severe his abilities. The only problem was, surviving wasn’t guaranteed. Cisco’s device had started out as a test. But when he ran through the calculations, ultimately the plan had been scrapped. Because they couldn’t risk anyone's life. Cisco grabbed a hammer to destroy the device. That’s when you knew.

You knew that Barry couldn’t do it. The world needed him, Iris needed him. This team needed him.

When you sped over and grabbed the device out of Cisco’s hand, they all flinched.

“(Y/N)..”

Barry looked shocked. A part of you felt guilty. But you had to be the one to do it. Before you’d met this team, you had no one. Gaining these powers may have been an accident, but you finally had a family. You weren’t about to sacrifice that.

“Tell Joe I’m gonna miss his lasagna.”

The streak of your lightning lit up the room, and Barry went chasing after you without a second thought. Using your lightning, you completely shattered the control on Eobard’s prison. He grinned, that same malicious one you’d seen so many times.

He came straight at you, and you kept the device hidden behind your back until it was too late. The second you were within reach, you grabbed his hand, generating as much as the speed force as you could in your palm as you slapped it against his chest. His grin immediately changed to surprise, then fear. His screams echoed throughout the room, and so did yours.

Barry didn’t even make it within three feet. Both you and Eobard dropped to your knees, and the buildup of lighting sent Barry flying into the opposite direction. When Cisco and the others came racing forward, they could only watch as the red and pink sparks seemed to be at war with each other.

Barry was picking himself up off the ground.

“(Y/N)!!”

You could faintly hear his screams.

“YOU’LL KILL US BOTH!!”

Eobard’s words just made you smile. You never released his hand, not until the end.

Not until you could no longer feel any strength in your body. Your eyes slid shut and you collapsed. The last thing you saw was the tearful looks of the people you’d grown to care about.

Love.

Barry watched helplessly as both you and Eobard disappeared in an assortment of golden particles.

God is the Original Asiatic Black Man. God is the Supreme consciousness and awareness following Good Orderly Direction. With Knowledge of Self and intelligence.God is infinite. We cannot know ourselves as infinite unless we understand this physical is only energy slowed down to form mass, yet even though we don't feel it our body is in rhythm and vibrating with everything in the Universe because everything in the Universe is in us and infact is us. God seeks to expand His sense of Self by becoming himself. What you believe yourself to be is what you believe God to be. But the age of belief is over. It's the time to Know. There are no limitations, any limits you imposed upon yourself you imposed them yourself. So there is no limitation on God, because the truth is that there is no limitation on the Black man.

We must attain self-consciousness, and develop a God consciousness. Each of us is God of our lives and Universe, if we accept the limitations of the flesh we fall short of our God-consciousness. When we do this we go from being the true and living God, to searching for a Mystery God who doesn't exist. The mind of the Original Asiatic Black Man is Supreme and with a Supreme mind we do Supreme things. Think about it, Peace!

The entire day was a rollercoaster. When it comes to an end, you’re dropping Harrison back to his home. The trip is fairly quiet. After you’d seen Barry literally run back to wherever he came from, you were positive you’d seen it all.

Another thing is apparent these parallel earths have doppelgangers, because you’re positive that Iris is currently dating a nerdy version of the man you just saw.

That’s a topic for another day.

“You’re awfully quiet.”

“I’m still processing.” You explain. This isn’t the easiest pill to swallow. Truthfully you’re surprised you haven’t had another near meltdown.

“I’m sure you understand why I had to keep this all a secret.”

Of course you do. If he tried explaining this to anyone surely their head would explode. You were nursing a migraine yourself.

“Your job is over. If you choose to resign from this position I would completely understand.”

Oh, you’ve considered it. More for your own sanity. But if not this, then what? Back to high clientele who do nothing but snob around all day. If you’re being honest this is the most challenging and rewarding job you’ve ever had. Regardless of the secrets uncovered. There’s also a part of you that feels the need to stay close to Harrison. Like this is where you should be.

“Are you trying to get rid of me sir?”

He pauses for a second, then casts his gaze over to you. Your face is neutral, much like all the other times he’s seen you.

“I probably never said this before, but I admire what you do. After all you told me, all you’ve been through, you take every day in stride. In the past I never made a decision that wasn’t beneficial to me in some way. I became a soldier not to serve, but because I was lonely and miserable. I literally went to war just to feel something other than numb. Looking back there is so much I regret. I’ve barely smiled in the last fifteen years and you’ve experienced far more pain than I have.”

“I don’t believe in comparing pain.” 

You slow down as you approach the traffic light, listening.

“I think we can both agree that life hasn’t been easy for either of us. I survived, so did you. At the end of the day, that’s all we can really hold onto. That’s what matters. We’re both still alive, so rather than dwelling on where we went wrong, we should focus on what we can do right for the future.”

Even his ideals are humble. He truly was extraordinary.

“I’ll be honored to continue to work at your side sir.”

He offers a smile.

“I would like that, Ms. Yale.”

The light ahead changes, and Harrison relaxes in his seat.

When he looks away, you smile.
