Status update!

A Burning WhiteRose IGPX au is going up...in the next 10-ish days probably?Then I'd like to work on at least a couple things for @powertaco 's Death's Whiterose week next month, and I've got something I'd like to do for March, but may ornmay not happen. Also the Eternal Conflict DWR story and original Romance continue to get pecked away at.

Why are there now so many women in video clips saying that women can absolutely physically best men? You can't go "wonderwoman" on a guy...wth. Do they not realize how significantly stronger men are?

I'm glad these women have never been in a bad situation with men to get smacked in the face by reality how easily men can overpower women. Yet, I wonder how these women have never observed that fact otherwise in their life? Have they never helped their father with work around the house, workshop, car etc? Never had played with boys during childhood? How is a demonstration how much more physical strength men have such a shock to these women?

I just can't comprehend that level of delusion? Maybe it's because I'm an only child and have always been around my father to help here and there, dirtbiked with boys in the woods and had other more masculine hobbies..but if those women interviewed in the streets seriously believe they can overpower a bad man or flip them judo-style to get away...that's worrisome.

And yet explaining that reality will destroy that fantasy is so offensive to these women?

BABYYYYYYY when I tell you these past few months have been a journey for me I'm not playing when I say that at all. However, I do plan to get Dressed With Red back in action as it should be and have it be consistent from there- because when I start something best believe I'm gonna finish it. I felt passionate about this project when I first started it, and I still do now. Just gotta keep the momentum going because once I start again I won't stop. You'll see these beloved characters more lively than before, just have the patience that I don't have.

I don't know if there is/will be confusion over this, but since I'm putting pen to paper on it either tonight or tomorrow, I'm gonna clarify: The 'Eternal Conflict' AU DWR fic I say is in the pipeline is in fact the same one that was inspired back at the start of the year by the line "If Hell is forever then Heaven must be a lie" from Hazbin Hotel. It might end up bearing some resemblance to the Hazbin world, but it's definitely not taking place in the same one, so I cribbed the term for the war between the High Heavens & the Burning Hells in Diablo. It's not a Diablo AU either, to be clear, it's just set in and around the same kind of war.

Why not just call it a Heaven & Hell or Angels & Demons AU? Because I didn't think to and Eternal Conflict sounds more grandiose, which makes my brain tingle. I'll probably use all three as tags when it lands on ao3. So yeah, there you go.

Presenting the British Railway's D16/2! These Bullied designed diesel locomotives were origannly ordered by the Southern Railway, but the wouldn't enter service until after nationalization.

The first two, 10 101 and 10 102, were built at BR Ashford Works in 1950 using 1750 bhp engines and transmisions from English Electric.

The Third, 10 103, would be built at Brighton Works in 1954 with an improved 2000 bhp engine, and would serve as the bassis for the BR Class 40. In my AU a further three the three, 10 104 through 10 106, were built to the design of 10 103 for trialing diesel traction on the Chester and Holyhead Railway.

The original three would be sold the DWR following their withdrawl in 1963, taking over the DWR's express run to London.

The C&HR trio would remain in service with the C&HR, taking over the railway's expresses past Chester when the Mainline Steam Ban came into effect.
