Hi peeps! So @hazel-of-sodor told me that a handful of people here wanted to know more about the DWR, so I made a Tumblr! I'm going to try and post any and all lore and world building stuff for it here :) Here's Hazel's amazing fleet pic she made for me!

The next DWR engine, the D5 were rebuilds of the D1 class into 0-4-0 tank engines for use in the Locomotive shops.

The next  engine from the DWR, the N Class, Orginally designed for Suburban passenger services, it would also be found useful on freight services.

The Denbigh and Wrexham A class. I concieved the A class as a predecessor to the later DWR Standards, a mixed traffic design, meant to relieve the ageing locomotives of the fleet. The DWR belongs to and is created by @denbigh-and-wrexham

The 1MT. The Tank engine was a real proposed design in the 40s, I created the tender variant from that. It comes in both C&HR and DWR flavors.

Presenting the DWR C class! One of the locomotives introduced in the Denbigh and Wrexham's moderinization plan, the C class was designed for light passenger services on the DWR's branchlines.

I'm gonna start going through my folder and posting the up to date versions of all my engines. Tonight’s is the Avonside B3. Specifcally Margaret, a Engine that worked at St. George quarry and the Kinmel Railway with her sister Eleanor.  The right version is her in @denbigh-and-wrexham​ ‘s Au version of her, owned by the Denbigh Quarry Company.  Heres the real Margaret looking worse for wear.

The Chester and Holyhead Railway and the Denbigh and Wrexham Railway both run local passenger trains throughout their lines.  As such, it was little surprise the designers at May Traction and Railworks recieved orders from both railways for modern suburban services following the war. The resulting the engine would be classifed as the Class 20 by the C&HR, with little differences between the two railways engines. A 2-6-2 tank engines, utilizing one of the standard boilers devloped for the Denbigh and Wrexham, the engines quickly proved a reliable and agile, quickly finding work on branchline frieghts as well as their  intended suburan passenger services.
